Abstract

Un dispositivo de amortiguacíon para amortiguar elcomponente de movimiento vertical de una estructura flotante, en particular el movimiento que es inducido por las olas, dicho amortiguador comprende un número de aberturas que se extienden substancialmente horizontalmente, caracterizado en que el amortiguador (10) está diseñado para ser localizado tal que se proyecta en la forma de una falda por debajo del fondo de la estructura flotante (11) o fuera desde el lado de la estructura flotante, y que este consiste de varios canales (47) que sobre al menos una parte de su longitud se extienden horizontalmente y convergen desde una abertura de entrada (27, 28, 36, 37, 38), que puede estar localizada en una cualquiera de las paredes de canal que están cerca hacia arriba, hacia abajo o hacia la estructura flotante hacia una abertura de salida (16, 46) que va lejos desde la estructura flotante (11).
