Abstract

La presente invención refiere a un método para formar un contenedor y llenarlo con un producto. El método incluye el moldeo por soplado en caliente del contenedor a partir de una preforma y el llenado en caliente del contenedor con el producto de manera que éste ocupe aproximadamente el 95% o más de un volumen interior total del contenedor. Se define un volumen de espacio de cabeza entre una línea de llenado superior del producto y un borde del contenedor. El volumen del espacio de cabeza es inferior a aproximadamente el 5% del volumen interior total del contenedor. El contenedor se tapa y se deja enfriar. El contenedor está configurado para encogerse durante el enfriamiento, de manera que el volumen interior total disminuye entre un 0,5% y un 1,5% durante el enfriamiento. Una base del contenedor se desplaza después del llenado en caliente y el tapado para reducir el volumen interior total en menos de un 0,5% a un 4% adicional. El llenado en caliente, el tapado, el enfriamiento y el desplazamiento de la base crean un cambio de presión dentro del contenedor.
