Abstract
RESUMEN Se proporciona un método para tratar heno para evitar y/o reducir el daño por calor en heno de alta humedad y así como para conservar el mismo, el método comprende agregar al heno un conservador de heno que comprende una cantidad efectiva de conservación de heno y reducción de calor de al menos una enzima que tiene una actividad quitinasa, ya sea sola o en combinación con una cantidad efectiva de conservación de heno y reducción de calor de una levadura del género Pichia o bacteria del género Pediococcus. También se proporciona un método para tratar heno para evitar y/o reducir el daño por calor en heno de alta humedad así como para conservar el mismo, el método comprende agregar al heno un conservador de heno que comprende una cantidad efectiva de conservación de heno y reducción de calor de levadura del genero Pichia.
