Abstract

本发明属于丝锥滚轧成型方法和装置。利用金属材料的塑性变形。用跳牙螺纹构成的滚丝轮,将丝锥坯料一次冷轧成型为跳牙螺钉,再经开沟槽后成为跳牙丝锥。该滚轧成型方法与目前采用的磨削法相比较,加工效率提高了180倍。

Description

跳牙丝锥滚轧成形方法及其所用的跳牙滚丝轮
本发明属于丝锥滚轧成型工艺和装置。
丝锥分常规丝锥和跳牙丝锥两种,是加工圆柱形、圆锥形内螺纹最广泛应用的标准刀具。跳牙丝锥与常规丝锥的区别在于当二者螺纹中径dcp和螺旋升角β相同的情况下,跳牙丝锥的螺距是常规丝锥螺距S的两倍,即2S。由于加工件的内螺纹螺距S是由丝锥的螺旋升角β所决定,因而当螺旋升角β相同的情况下,跳牙丝锥和常规丝锥所加工的内螺纹的螺距S是相同的。
因为跳牙丝锥的螺距为2S是常规丝锥的螺距S的两倍,因而跳牙丝锥克服了常规丝锥加工内螺纹往往因材料韧性大等原因产生的切屑阻塞、螺纹烂牙、丝锥爆牙、丝锥与加工件咬煞等弊病,使加工效率提高了2~3倍,使用寿命也提高了2~3倍。
1953年10月27日公告的美国专利US-2656740介绍了用滚轧工艺成型丝锥的方法,但该方法只能制造常规丝锥,不能制造跳牙丝锥。目前加工跳牙丝锥的方法有三种,第一种方法是采用徒手磨去法将成品常规丝锥在每一棱上间隔磨去一牙保留一牙;第二种方法是把成品常规丝锥在铲磨机上间隔铲除一牙保留一牙;第三种方法是在螺纹磨床上直接磨削跳牙丝锥,即用淬硬的丝锥坯料,在装有一定的辅助装置的螺纹磨床上,跳牙与螺纹同时磨削而成。第三种方法加工出来的跳牙丝锥质量有保证,工艺上也较第一和第二种方法先进,但制造工时较长,仍然跟不上生产发展的需要。
为了克服上述三种加工跳牙丝锥的落后方法,本发明的目的在于提供跳牙丝锥滚轧成型方法,及其所用的跳牙滚丝轮,即利用金属材料的塑性变形,使用跳牙螺纹构成的滚丝轮,将丝锥坯料滚轧成跳牙螺钉,再经开沟槽后成为跳牙丝锥,以大大提高制造跳牙丝锥的效率,并使得滚轧成型的跳牙丝锥具有良好的切削性能。
本发明提供的跳牙丝锥滚轧成型方法及其所用的跳牙滚丝轮,是在滚轧机的两根轴上安装一对跳牙滚丝轮,通过校准,把预制的丝锥坯料放在两个跳牙滚丝轮中间,在两跳牙滚丝轮同向运动的同时,动轮不断进给挤压使坯料塑性变形成为跳牙螺钉,再经开沟槽后成为跳牙丝锥。

图2A、B是本发明滚轧成型的跳牙螺钉。
图3A、B是本发明滚轧成型的跳牙螺钉开沟槽后而成的跳牙丝锥。
图1中1、3是跳牙滚丝轮,其材质为Cr12,热处理HRC60-63。两跳牙滚丝轮的外径D等于所要加工的跳牙丝锥中径dcp乘以滚丝轮圆周上分组排列的螺纹头数N(N必须成偶数),跳牙滚丝轮的螺纹升角β和螺距2S分别等于所要加工的跳牙丝锥的螺纹升角β和跳牙丝锥螺距2S,两跳牙滚丝轮螺纹接头相对偏位角φ等于360°除以螺纹头数乘2,即φ=360°/N×2,两跳牙滚丝轮的长度是所要加工的跳牙丝锥螺距2S的整数倍。2是跳牙丝锥坯料,材质为W18r4v(高速钢),经过打包密封退火,把硬度退软至HRC12左右金切削加工至轧丝尺寸,一般误差为0.01毫米。
按图1所示,在两跳牙滚丝轮投入工作前,先按如下步骤进行调试:
1、把滚丝机两轴键调整在同一向位,并使两轴键中心线互相平衡;
2、把滚丝轮装上轴键,并将其两滚丝轮端面调整在同一直线上;
3、两滚丝轮的相对距离等于丝锥坯料外径减去3/2H(H为丝锥的齿深);
4、先在滚丝轮试运转时冲冷却油液后进行试轧,试轧螺纹的清晰、光泽、齿形角等符合工艺要求后,滚丝轮即投入正常工作。
本发明滚轧成型加工的跳牙丝锥,用工具显微镜测量其几何形状、技术精度、螺纹光洁度、相邻螺距和积累螺距等均能达到跳牙滚丝轮的技术精度。表1是冷轧左2M18×1跳牙丝锥热处理前后测定数据比较。
滚轧跳牙丝锥与磨削跳牙丝锥比较:
1.滚轧跳牙丝锥与磨削跳牙丝锥内部金相组织、回火马氏体、炭化物及残留奥氏体基本相同;
2.滚轧跳牙丝锥组织紧密,纤维组织呈连续性,增加了螺纹的强度,而磨削螺纹组织纤维呈割断状态;
3.滚轧跳牙丝锥与磨削跳牙丝锥加工的内螺纹光洁度相等,都达到光洁度

除上述比较外,特别是本发明跳牙丝锥滚轧成型与磨削成型相比较,大大提高加工效率,如加工左2M18×1和M14×1.25两种规格的跳牙丝锥,用螺纹磨床磨削加工,每支工时为30分钟,用滚轧成型方法加工,每支只需5秒钟,加工效率提高180倍以上,大大节省了工本费用。

Claims (4)

1、一种用轧丝机滚轧成型跳牙丝锥的方法,其特征在于在轧丝机的两轴上安装一对跳牙滚丝轮,把预制的丝锥坯料放在两跳牙滚丝轮中间,在两跳牙滚丝轮作同向运动的同时,动轮不断进给挤压使坯料塑性变形成为跳牙螺钉,再经开沟槽后成为跳牙丝锥。
2、一种用于滚轧成型跳牙丝锥的跳牙滚丝轮,其特征在于跳牙滚丝轮的外径D等于所要加工的跳牙丝锥中径dcp乘以跳牙滚丝轮上分组排列的螺纹头数N(N必须成偶数),跳牙滚丝轮的螺纹升角β和螺距2S分别等于所要加工的跳牙丝锥的螺纹升角β和螺距2S,两跳牙滚丝轮螺纹接头相对偏位角φ等于360°除以螺纹头数乘2,即φ=360°/N×2,两跳牙滚丝轮的长度是所要加工的跳牙丝锥螺距2S的整数倍。
3、按权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于跳牙丝锥坯料的材质为W18r4v(高速钢),经过打包密封退火,把硬度退软至HRC12左右金切削加工至轧丝尺寸。
4、按权利要求2所述的滚丝轮,其特征在于跳牙滚丝轮的材质是Cr12
