Abstract

Description

本发明所论及的是一种带有改进型固位装置的焊接套筒接线端子。
在AMP产品样本第79-546中所述的一种通用电气连接件包括一个绝缘座,该绝缘座有一个插接端面、一个与其相对的后端面以及多个穿过插接端面和后端面的通道。各个电气接线端子从后端面装入并被固定在这些通道中。每一接线端子都被标上标记,它们是由标准的金属条形接线架构成的,整个接线架有一个插接段和一个对置的焊接套筒段。
通用的连接件是由两片径向装在每一通道中有弹性的卡子压制而成的,以便靠插接段和焊接套筒段之间的卡环在接线端子后部将接线端子卡住,所有的接线端子都处在接线架的前部。由于接线端子没有阻止焊料的隔板,而且必须用肉眼检查来确保焊料不进入并损坏插接段,否则不仅防碍插接还会损坏镀层,因而在将接线端子插入各自的通道之前,要将导线焊在每一个接线端子的焊接套筒内。由于在通道内没有确保接线端子径向定位的装置,而且因为焊接热的副作用会使弹性卡子的完整性受到影响,所以必须在接线端子插入之前焊接导线。插入接线端子需用专用工具,以免焊接接点的损坏,否则导线将被直接拉出。
因此,本发明与上述的插头相比具有明显的特征:接线架的后部有一个焊接套筒段和一个连接段,该连接段横穿过接线端子的轴线并在轴向上与插接段和焊接套筒处同一轴线。接线端子有一个第一固位装置,该固位装置由一对对置的从连接段侧向伸出的凸缘组成,靠两个弯曲的凸缘压紧在通道的侧壁上来卡住接线端子,以防其从后端面拉出。
连接段形成了一个有效的阻挡焊料的隔板和一对能使接线端子定位的凸缘,因此在焊接之前插入接线端子是可能的。绝缘座仅压制成一个,而不必在各通道内设置弹性卡子,在插入接线端子时专用工具也是不必要的。
US-A-439611给出了一种连接件,这种连接件带有几个接线端子,这些接线端子都标上标记,证明不是非标准的金属接线架,并且这些接线端子都有一个销子,而没有与插接段相对应的焊接套筒。第三栏中第21-24行的说明建议可以用焊接套筒代替那个销子,这样的接线端子是众所周知的。这种通用的接线端子有一个连接段,该连接段横穿过插接段和焊接套筒之间的轴线,插接段和焊接套筒都相应地标上标记。然而,绝缘座与本发明的不同,接线端子从插接端面插入通道,这样的结构对带有销子和套管的插头却是不合适的。另外,没有提出在连接段上装设凸缘来防止接线端子从后端面拉出。

图2是按照本发明装在通道内的、未装导线和未焊接的接线端子的侧视图;
图3是装上导线并终接之后的接线端子部分断面的侧视图。
接线端子10是由标准的金属条形接线构成的,它有一个插接段12,一个连接段14,第一固位装置16,第二固位装置18和一个焊接套筒20。
图示的插接段12是一个从插接体22向前伸出的圆棒,而不应采用套管。插接体22与接线端子10同轴,并与插接段12一起构成了整个接线架的前部。连接段14横穿过接线端子的轴线,在连接段14上有两个第一固位装置16的凸缘24,26,这两个凸缘从第一固位装置的两侧伸出,大体上与接线端子的轴线垂直。图示的连接段14是一个单一的部件,然而它也可由一个或多个部件组成。连接段14也是接线端子后部各部件与前部之间的分界点。第二固位装置18和焊接套筒20装在整个接线架的后部。美国专利第3,575,034号提出了实现这种型式的接线端子的一种方法。第二固位装置18通常是沟槽型的,它有一个基板26和一对侧壁28,30,在侧壁上各有一个特殊的尖端32,34。
焊接套筒20是一个四周封闭的筒形体,它由基板26的延续部分、侧壁36,38、顶板40,42和一入口44组成,这种结构使得插入导线46和把焊料48装入接线端子10变得很容易。
图示的接线端子固定在一个典型的连接件绝缘座52上的通道50内,通道50位于后端面54和插接端面56之间,接线端子10的插接段12伸出插接端面56之外,而焊接套筒20则从后端面54伸出。绝缘座52是由绝缘材料压制而成的。
图3所示的导线46已与接线端子焊在一起。裸导线58被插入焊接套筒20中,贯穿的导线46靠导线上的绝缘体60和连接段14定位,然后通过加热焊料48固结接线端子中的导线。应注意,当加热接线端子内的焊料时,连接段14应能防止焊料流到插接段12上。
还应注意,在图2和图3中,插接体22是用来使接线端子在绝缘座52中定位的,而凸缘24,26应紧紧地卡在绝缘座52内通道50的两个侧壁上,同时,第二固位装置18的侧壁28,30上的尖端32,34应卡在通道的顶板上,以防止接线端子被拉出。第一固位装置16提供80%的固位力,而其余的由第二固位装置18提供。推或拉都会使凸缘24,26弯曲并使其卡紧侧壁。固位装置16,18也用来使接线端子10固定在绝缘座52中。
提供插接段的镀层和/或焊接套筒内导线上的焊料的涂层、由于焊料反流,使端接变得容易,也在本发明的范围之内。

Claims (3)

1、一种包括一个绝缘座52的电连接件,该绝缘座上有一个插接端面56、一个相对的后端面54和多个从插接端面56通至后端面54的通道50,通道内装有各自的电气接线端子10,接线端子10从后端面插入并被固定在通道内。每一个接线端子10都被标上标记,接线端子10是由标准的金属条形接线架组成的,它有一个前部的插接段口和与其相对的一个焊接套筒20,该连接件的特征在于它处在整个座架的后部,连接段14横穿过接线端子10的轴线并与插接段12和焊接套筒20成一轴线,第一固位装置16由一对从连接段14侧向伸出的对置的凸缘24,26组成,靠凸缘弯曲卡进通道50的侧壁使接线端子10定位,以防接线端子从后端面拉出。
2、一种如权项1所提出的电连接件,其中接线端子10的特征在于第二固位装置18是一个位于后部的沟槽型的部件,该沟槽型的部件有一对相互隔开的侧壁30,在侧壁30上,其上部呈一尖端32,34,以便使其与各个通道50进行压配合。
