Abstract

本实用新型公开一种电连接器,其安装于电路板上并包括绝缘本体、收容于绝缘本体内的若干第一、第二直角形导电端子及遮覆于绝缘本体外的遮蔽壳体,所述每一导电端子均包括接触部、尾部及连接接触部与尾部的固持部,第一导电端子的接触部与第二导电端子的接触部交错排列成前后两排,同时第一导电端子的尾部与第二导电端子的尾部交错排列成前后两排。该电连接器结构紧凑,其内可容纳更多导电端子以提供尽可能多的电信号传输通路。

【技术领域】
本实用新型是有关一种电连接器,尤指一种安装于电路板上的直角电连接器。
【背景技术】
USB(Universal Serial Bus,通用串行总线)是一种可传输高速信号的电连接器,当前广泛用于连接个人计算机的主机与外部设备。随着USB连接器的普及,业内人士开始以原有的USB标准为基础进行进一步开发,设计各种具有拓展功能、可同时传输标准USB接口电信号和额外电信号的电连接器。
然而,标准USB连接器的体积有限,其内已有的四条电信号传输通路已经占用了大部分空间,为了即不影响传输符合USB标准的电信号又增加额外的电信号传输通路,只有进一步设计制造更加紧凑的结构才能满足要求。
综上所述,需要对现有的电连接器加以改良。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种电连接器,其可在有限的空间内传输多路电信号且可以与现有标准USB连接器对接。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器,其安装于电路板上并包括绝缘本体及收容于绝缘本体内的若干第一、第二直角形导电端子,所述每一导电端子均包括接触部、尾部及连接接触部与尾部的固持部,第一导电端子的接触部与第二导电端子的接触部交错排列成前后两排。
本实用新型采用的技术方案还可进一步改进:第一导电端子的尾部与第二导电端子的尾部交错排列成前后两排,所述第一导电端子的固持部上设有向下弯折而成的突刺部,第二导电端子的固持部为楔形,其上也设有突刺部,第二导电端子的突刺部位置高于第一导电端子的突刺部。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型具有如下有益效果:该电连接器的第一导电端子与第二导电端子交错排列,结构紧凑,尽可能充分的利用了电连接器内的空间,使之可容纳更多导电端子以提供尽可能多的电信号传输通路。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1及图2所示,本实用新型电连接器是一种USB插座连接器1,安装于母电路板3上并与插头连接器2对接。该插座连接器1包括绝缘本体1O、若干导电端子20及遮蔽壳体30。插头连接器2包括主体40、线路板50及罩体60。在其他实施方式中,本实用新型电连接器可以是其他类型的。
请参阅图3及图4,绝缘本体10包括基部11、自基部11向前延伸而成的舌板12及自基部11向前延伸而与舌板12相对的安装部13。若干端子收容通道14沿对接方向延伸贯穿基部11及舌板12。基部11的后端还设有延伸贯穿基部11底部的若干卡持槽15及若干缺口16。卡持槽15与缺口16沿插座连接器1的横宽方向交错排列,其中缺口16设于基部11的边缘,卡持槽15自基部11的边缘向内延伸。安装部13的底面设有一对延伸入母电路板3的凸柱17,该对凸柱17将绝缘本体10安装于母电路板3上。
导电端子20包括直角形的第一及第二导电端子21、22,共两组,沿插座连接器1的横宽方向交错排列并分别收容于绝缘本体10内对应的端子收容通道14内。每一第一导电端子21包括向前延伸的接触部211、向下延伸入母电路板3的尾部212及连接接触部211与尾部212的固持部213。其中,固持部213弯折成“S”形,其上设有向下弯折而成的突刺部2130。每一第二导电端子22与第一导电端子21的结构相类似,包括接触部221、尾部222及固持部223。其中,第二导电端子22的接触部221延伸超过第一导电端子21的接触部211。第二导电端子22的固持部223为直条形楔状,其上设有突刺部2230且靠近尾部222一端向靠近接触部221一端宽度逐渐减小以延伸入相邻两第一导电端子21之间。突刺部2230的位置高于突刺部2130。第一导电端子21的尾部212与第二导电端子22的尾部222排成前后两列而分别收容于绝缘本体10的卡持槽15及缺口16。
遮蔽壳体30遮覆于绝缘本体10的基部11及舌板12之外,其上设有延伸入遮蔽壳体30内的若干弹片31及延伸入母电路板3的固持脚32。固持脚32将遮蔽壳体30固定于母电路板3上。
请参阅图5所示,主体40设有托架41及收容槽42。线路板50位于主体40的托架41上并收容于收容槽42内,其上设有暴露于主体40之外的若干第一及第二金手指51、52。第一金手指51与第二金手指52沿插头连接器2的横宽方向交错排列,且第一金手指51的金属触点510与第二金手指52的金属触点520分别排成前后两列。罩体60遮覆于主体40之外。
请参阅图6所示,当插座连接器1与插头连接器2对接时,插座连接器1的遮蔽壳体30的弹片31与插头连接器2的罩体60达成电性连接,插座连接器1的第一导电端子21的接触部211与插头连接器2的线路板50的第一金手指51于金属触点510处达成电性连接,插座连接器1的第二导电端子22的接触部221与插头连接器2的线路板50的第一金手指52于金属触点520处达成电性连接。
本实用新型电连接器的第一导电端子21与第二导电端子22交错排列,结构紧凑,尽可能充分的利用了插座连接器1内的空间,使插座连接器1内可容纳更多导电端子20以提供尽可能多的电信号传输通路。

Claims (7)

1.一种电连接器,其安装于电路板上,该电连接器包括绝缘本体及收容于绝缘本体内的若干第一、第二直角形导电端子,所述每一导电端子均包括接触部、尾部及连接接触部与尾部的固持部,其特征在于:第一导电端子的接触部与第二导电端子的接触部沿电连接器横宽方向交错排列,且第二导电端子的接触部向前延伸超过第一导电端子的接触部。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体后端设有交错排列的卡持槽及缺口,第一导电端子的尾部与第二导电端子的尾部排成前后两列并分别收容于卡持槽及缺口。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一导电端子的固持部上设有向下弯折而成的突刺部,第二导电端子的固持部为楔形,其上也设有突刺部,第二导电端子的突刺部位置高于第一导电端子的突刺部。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体设有安装部,其上设有一对凸柱以将电连接器安装于电路板上。
5.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器还包括遮覆于绝缘本体外的遮蔽壳体,其上设有若干弹片及固持脚。
6.一种电连接器,其安装于电路板上,该电连接器包括绝缘本体、收容于绝缘本体内的若干第二直角形导电端子及遮覆于绝缘本体外的遮蔽壳体,所述每一第一导电端子包括接触部、尾部及连接接触部与尾部的固持部,其特征在于:该电连接器于每相邻两第二导电端子之间设有直角形第一导电端子,第一导电端子包括接触部、尾部及连接接触部与尾部的固持部,第一导电端子的接触部及尾部所排成的阵列分别位于第二导电端子的接触部及尾部所排成阵列的内侧。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述第一及第二导电端子的固持部分别设有突刺部,第一导电端子的突刺部所排成的阵列位于第二导电端子的突刺部所排成的阵列的下侧。
