Abstract

本实用新型公开一种电连接器(1),包括基座(2)、组装于基座上的盖体(3)、印刷电路板(9)和若干端子(5)。基座包括设有若干收容凹槽(272)的若干隔墙(271)。于凹槽一侧对应设有与之连通的若干安装槽(273)。每个端子包括和柔性电路板相抵接的接触部(54)、收容于若干收容凹槽中的安装部(52),以及与印刷电路板相接触的尾部(51)。安装部设有两对倒刺(521)以与相应安装槽相配合,从而有效地固持所述若干端子(5)。

【技术领域】
本实用新型是有关一种电连接器,尤指一种应用于计算机的打印机上用以控制墨盒喷墨动作的压接式电连接器。
【背景技术】
计算机的打印机可分为针式打印机、激光打印机和喷墨打印机。喷墨打印机包括用以存储墨粉的一次性使用的墨盒和用以喷墨于打印介质上的喷头,通过连接墨盒和喷头的控制电路来控制打印动作。喷墨打印机中部件通过柔性电路板(FPC)或线缆组合相连接。因此,前述柔性电路或线缆组合与墨盒或其它相关组件之间的连接须使用电连接器来完成。如美国专利公告第6,099,356号案中所揭示用于连接墨盒的电连接器,是一种压接式连接器,包括基座、组装于基座上的盖体及固持于基座内的若干端子。
但是,该种设计无法确保其端子在基座内前后方向上可靠的固持。因此,有必要对这种电连接器加以改进以克服上述缺陷。
【发明内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种压接式电连接器,其端子固持稳定可靠。
本实用新型的目的是通过以下技术方案来实现的:一种电连接器包括基座、组装于基座上的盖体、内置式印刷电路板和若干端子。基座包括具有若干隔墙的端子收容部,于每两隔墙之间形成一收容凹槽,且于凹槽一侧对应设有与之连通的若干安装槽。盖体设有凹陷部以收容印刷电路板上端。每个端子包括和柔性电路板相连接的接触部、收容于收容凹槽中的安装部、与印刷电路板相连接的尾部,以及从接触部的一端水平延伸的预载部。安装部设有两对倒刺与相应安装槽干涉配合以稳固地固持端子。
与现有技术相比较,本实用新型电连接器通过于端子上设有两对倒刺与相应安装槽干涉配合,从而可以有效地固持端子。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1,本实用新型电连接器1包括基座2、组装于基座上方的盖体3、发光二极管(LED)4、若干端子5、透镜6、一对光纤组件7、一对过滤器8和内置印刷电路板(PCB)9。
参照图2,基座2包括底壁20、前壁21及两侧壁22。基座2在其前壁21后方设有一纵长形状的第一收容槽道23以收容透镜6,于第一收容槽道23后方设有一对第二收容槽道24以收容相应过滤器8,靠近一侧壁22一侧设有第一收容腔25以收容发光二极管4,于第二收容槽道24后方设有一对第二收容腔26以收容光纤组件7。基座2于其后端设有端子收容部27。端子收容部27具有纵向排布的若干隔墙271。于每相邻两隔墙之间形成一长条收容凹槽272以收容相应端子2。于每一收容凹槽272一端相对两侧设有与之连通的一对安装槽273。每个安装槽273延伸出一预定距离。于底壁20设有若干通孔201(如图5所示)与收容凹槽272相连通,端子5凸露出其外部。于基座2的每一侧壁22上设有一楔状凸块221。
参照图3,盖体3包括顶壁30、从顶壁30的后端向下延伸的后壁31,以及于顶壁30两侧向下延伸的耳部32。顶壁30设有凹陷部310以收容印刷电路板9上端。每一耳部32均设有一开槽320以与基座2的楔状凸块221相配合,从而将盖体3稳固定位于基座2上。
参照图4,每一端子5包括与印刷电路板9相应通孔90配合的尾部51、从尾部51的一端垂直延伸出的安装部52、由安装部52的底端延伸出的弯曲弹性臂53、由弹性臂53底端向下延伸出与柔性电路板(未图示)相接触的V形接触部54,以及由接触部54自由端水平延伸的预载部55。于安装部52相对两侧分别垂直延伸设有一对倒刺521以可靠固持端子5于收容凹槽272中。
参照图1、5,组装时,端子5安装在收容凹槽272中,通过倒刺521与安装槽273相干涉配合达到有效固持。接触部54由底壁20通孔201凸露出并与柔性电路板电性连接。预载部55抵接于基座2底壁20的凸缘28产生预应力,从而增强端子5与柔性电路板之间的电性连接。发光二极管4与光纤组件7分别安装于第一及第二收容腔25、26中。透镜6安装于第一收容槽道23中,过滤器8安装于第二收容槽道24中。印刷电路板9安装于基座2之后部。端子5尾部51、光纤组件7和发光二极管4通过通孔焊接与印刷电路板电性连接。然后,盖体3组装于基座2上,基座2凸块221与盖体3开槽320相卡合。印刷电路板9夹置于基座2和盖体3之间,其顶端收容于凹陷部310中。
参照图6,端子5收容于基座2端子收容部27的收容凹槽272中,端子尾部51焊接于印刷电路板9通孔90中,安装部52倒刺521干涉收容于安装槽273中。从而,端子5可靠固持于收容凹槽272中。
本实用新型电连接器的优点在于通过端子上设有两对倒刺与相应安装槽干涉配合,从而可以有效地固持端子。

Claims (10)

1.一种电连接器,用于与柔性印刷电路板(FPC)相连接,其包括基座、盖体、内置式印刷电路板及若干端子,基座设有端子收容部,端子收容部具有若干隔墙,于若干隔墙之间形成若干收容凹槽,盖体组设于基座之上,内置式印刷电路板安装于盖体与基座之间,若干端子组设于基座内,包括由基座向外凸伸并与柔性电路板相抵接的接触部、收容于收容凹槽中的安装部,以及与印刷电路板电性连接的尾部,其特征在于:于每一收容凹槽一端相对两侧设有与之连通的一对安装槽,且所述端子的安装部设有一对倒刺与相应安装槽干涉配合以可靠地将端子固持于收容凹槽中。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:每一端子还设有弯曲弹性臂以连接安装部与接触部,弹性臂与接触部成S形一体相连。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:每一端子还设有沿与尾部反向从接触部自由端伸出的水平预载部。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:基座设有邻接于端子预载部以提供预应力的凸缘。
5.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:基座具有一底壁,该底壁设有与收容凹槽相连通且供端子接触部凸伸出其外的若干通孔。
6.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:基座包括一对侧壁,在每一侧壁上设有凸块,在盖体两侧向下延伸设有一对耳部,每一耳部均设有与相应凸块配合而有效固持盖体于基座上的开槽。
7.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:盖体设有用以收容内置式印刷电路板顶部的凹陷部。
8.一种电连接器的端子,用以连接印刷电路板(PCB)和柔性电路板(FPC),其包括尾部、安装部、弯曲弹性臂、接触部及预载部,其特征在于:所述尾部水平设置并与印刷电路板相连接,自尾部一端向下垂直延伸而成一安装部,于其相对两侧分别垂直延伸设有一对倒刺,自安装部底端延伸而出一弯曲弹性臂,自弹性臂底端延伸出一V形并与柔性电路板相接触的接触部,沿与水平尾部延伸的相反方向自接触部延伸出一水平设置的预载部,弯曲弹性臂与V形接触部呈S形一体相连。
9.一种电连接器,包括有基座、盖体、若干端子及内置式印刷电路板,所述基座包括端子收容部,其上组设有一盖体,若干端子收容于端子收容部内,其特征在于:每一端子包括相对设置的尾部及接触部,于接触部末端设有预载部,所述内置式印刷电路板安装于盖体与基座之间与端子尾部相连接,基座设有邻接于相应端子预载部以提供预应力的凸缘,端子接触部凸露出基座之外。
10.如权利要求第9项所述的电连接器,其特征在于:前述印刷电路板垂直安装于基座与盖体之间。
