在塑料容器的制造中,例如单层或多层聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)容器,通常注模或压模具有主体和瓶颈的容器预型件,该瓶颈具有一个或多个外螺纹。在瓶等的制造中,该瓶颈和主体通常模制成初始尺寸和几何形状,该初始尺寸和几何形状有助于高生产量模制操作。随后,根据所希望的容器主体该瓶颈和主体被吹模成其最终的希望尺寸和几何形状。虽然这种制造技术用于制造主体部分是令人满意的,但是用于制造该瓶颈的螺纹不太令人满意。通常,吹模工艺得不到具有准确尺寸的瓶颈螺纹和完工容器所需要的细部。
为了解决该制造问题,预型件被模制成具有细瓶颈,然后该瓶颈在吹模操作之前或之后用单独的拉伸精加工机拉伸成最终尺寸。虽然这种技术能够用于细颈预型件,并且因此在预型件模制阶段期间保持高生产量,但是该技术的缺点在于增加另外的制造步骤和该容器制造过程的相关设备,这往往增加生产成本并降低工艺产量。
发明内容
根据本发明一方而,提供一种用于用预型件形成容器的设备,该预型件具有封闭端、相对地设置的开口端、从该封闭端延伸并且在开口端终止于瓶颈部分的主体部分以及至少一个内径。该设备包括在一端具有锥形部分的心轴。该锥形部分具有其尺寸大于该预型件的至少一个内径的外径。该锥形部分可移动进入该预型件的开口端使得该心轴被接纳在该预型件内,以便将该预型件的终结部分和主体部分两者扩大成该容器被拉伸的终结部分和被拉伸的主体部分,以便形成至少部分地成形的封闭端。根据本发明的优选实施例,该心轴的锥形部分可收缩进该心轴的主体部分,以便定形该预型件的封闭端。
根据本发明的第二方面,提供一种用预型件形成容器的方法,该预型件具有封闭端、相对地设置的开口端、以及从该封闭端延伸并且在开口端终止于瓶颈部分的主体部分,该预型件具有至少一个内径。根据该方法,提供一个心轴,该心轴在其一端具有锥形部分和至少一个外径,该外径的尺寸大于该预型件的至少一个内径。移动该心轴进入该预型件的开口端以扩大该预型件的瓶颈部分。进一步移动该心轴进入该预型件,还扩大该预型件的主体部分,直到该心轴的一端至少部分地将该预型件的封闭端形成为该容器的至少部分地成形的封闭端。然后将该心轴从该容器中退出。根据本发明的优选实施例,该心轴的锥形部分能够收缩进该心轴的主体部分,以定形该预型件的封闭端。

具体实施方式
图1A示出根据本发明一个实施例的起始方法步骤,其中预型件10用所希望的任何预加热装置(未示出)预热。对本领域普通技术人员来说各种预加热装置是广为人知的,例如嵌入工艺装置中的石英灯辐射加热装置、感应加热装置、电阻加热装置等。
如图1A和图1B所示,该预型件10包括封闭端12、相对地设置的口部或开口端14、与该封闭端12为一体的并且从其轴向延伸离开的主体部分16、以及在该预型件10的开口端14终止该主体部分16的瓶颈部分18。该瓶颈部分18包括帽盖或支撑凸缘20和诸如外螺纹或螺纹段22的一个或多个连接特征。该预型件10可以具有任何合适的塑性结构,例如单层PET或聚丙烯(PP)、或与中间层交替的PET或PP层的多层结构,该中间层优选为诸如乙烯乙烯醇(EVOH)或尼龙的阻透树脂层。这种中间层或多个中间层可以设置在该预型件主体部分16中,并且可以或可以不延伸进入该预型件瓶颈件部分18中,也可以采用二次使用树脂(PCR)层。预型件10可以用注模法或压模法制造并且在不同的部位可以包括不同的材料。例如,主体可以包括PET,而瓶颈部分可以包括PET、二次使用树脂(PCR)、工艺二次粉碎物料(REG)、聚丙烯(PP)、聚乙烯(PE)、聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯(PEN)等。而且,在瓶颈件部分18具有聚酯结构(例如PET、PEN或工艺二次粉碎物料)的情况下,模制时该瓶颈部分18可以整个地或部分地结晶(crystallized)。这可以通过采用或用于制造该瓶颈部分18的快速结晶材料或适当的热硬化工艺条件实现,例如在高模制温度、慢速模制冷却、模制工艺装置中的加热区等。可选地,该瓶颈部分18在后模制操作中是整个地或部分地结晶的。应当理解本发明决不限于这些示例性材料和处理。
在任何情况下,并且如图1B所示,实心心轴24在预型件的开口端14上设置成与其基本上同轴对齐。该心轴24包括部分26和锥形部分28。该主体部分26具有外径30,而部分28具有由在尺寸上等于该主体部分26的外径30的最大直径32和在该锥形部分28的平坦端部部36的最小直径34限定的可变的直径。该心轴24的外径30的尺寸大于预型件10的内径17。一旦心轴24如图所示到位之后,朝着该预型件10移动该心轴24进入其开口端14中。
如图1C所示,移动该心轴24以径向地和周向地拉制或拉伸图1B的预型件10的瓶颈部分18,以形成部分地拉制或拉伸的该预型件110的被拉伸的瓶颈部分118。该瓶颈部分118现在具有拉伸的凸缘120和拉伸的外螺纹122,该外螺纹122的几何形状类似于图1B的的预型件外螺纹22。换句话说,与图2B的预型件螺纹22相比,外螺纹122被径向向外移动并拉伸,然而在别的方面却具有由预型件螺纹22在模制时的几何形状所确定的几何形状,该几何形状与由吹模获得的螺纹相比其被更准确地形成并且更细化。因此,预型件螺纹22和瓶颈18应当比拉伸的螺纹122和瓶颈118的最终所希望的尺寸大且厚,以在拉伸之后达到适当的尺寸。如上所述,该预型件瓶颈18可以在拉伸之前和拉伸期间被加热,例如通过被加热心轴24的传导和/或通过诸如辐射加热的其他装置等。预型件瓶颈18和螺纹22的拉伸实现有利的分子取向和在拉伸的瓶颈118和螺纹112中的强度。可以想像,瓶颈18、118在扩大期间或扩大之后可以是整个地或部分地结晶的,以防止明显的松弛和收缩,特别是对于热填充应用。这种结晶可以在包括螺纹22、122的该瓶颈18、118的外表面上进行,或者可以延伸完全通过该瓶颈18、118的厚度。这种结晶可以与预型件瓶颈18的扩大和螺纹22的拉伸同时或之后实现。
还如图1C所示,心轴24进一步移动进入部分地被拉伸的预型件110以径向和周向地拉制或拉伸图1B的该预型件10的主体部分16,以形成被拉伸的主体部分116。该心轴24还移动直到该心轴24的平坦端部部36至少部分地形成或整平该部分地被拉伸的预型件110的成一定轮廓的封闭端12。
图1D示出前述方法步骤和设备的结果,其中容器210制成具有开口端214、拉伸的瓶颈部分218、拉伸的主体部分216以及部分地成形的封闭端212,作为例子该部分地成形的封闭端是部分锥形的。该容器210优选是瓶、碗等,但是不限于此。对于某些产品用途,该容器210可以认为是未完工的,直到该锥形封端212基本上被整平。因此,图2A-图2C示出本发明的另一个实施例。
图2A示出图1C的锥形封闭端容器210和在该容器210的开口端214之上设置成与其基本上轴向对齐的第二实心心轴224。该第二心轴224包括主体部分226,该主体部分的外径230的尺寸如果不等于图1B-图1C的第一心轴24的外径30的话,则优选基本类似于图1B-图1C的第一心轴24的外径30。该外径230可以,但是不必,进一步径向地或周向地扩大该容器210的瓶颈部分218或主体部分216。该第二心轴224也包括定形端236,也就是,例如,基本上是平坦的。该定形端236可以可选地包括多个半径、凹进部分等,并且优选它包括任何几何形状,当该容器被搁置在平坦表面上,该几何形状沿竖立方向支撑该容器,但不限于此。一旦心轴224如图所示到位之后,朝着该容器210移动该心轴224并且进入其开口端214。移动该第二心轴224进入该预型件210,其中心轴224的平坦端部部236径向地并且周向地拉制或拉伸该容器210以定形或整平该容器210的锥形的封闭端212,以形成基本上完成的封闭端312,该封闭端可以如图2B所示基本上是平坦的。图2C示出前述方法步骤和设备的结果,其中完工的容器310具有开口端214、在前拉伸的瓶颈部分218、拉伸的主体部分216、以及刚刚定形或整平的封闭端312。
图3A-图4示出根据本发明另一个示例性实施例的设备并示出方法步骤。图3A示出与图1A和图1B相同的预型件10。但是,图3A示出伸缩式的或可收缩的心轴424,该心轴具有主体部分426、锥形部分428以及基本上平坦的端部436。该主体部分426具有外径430,而该锥形部分428具有可变直径,该可变直径由在尺寸上基本上等于该主体部分426的外径430的最大直径432,到最小直径434形成。该心轴424的一个或多个直径在尺寸上大于该预型件10的内径17。优选地,该最小直径434的尺寸稍大于该预型件10的内径17。还如图4所示,心轴424包括主体或外套筒438、以可移动方式设置在该外套筒438内的内套筒440、以可移动方式设置在该内套筒440内的内芯442。在图3A中,第一弹簧444设置在该内外套筒440、438之间,以将内套筒440朝着所示的延伸位置偏置。同样,第二弹簧446设置在该内芯442和内套筒440之间,以将内芯442朝着所示的延伸位置偏置。该内外套筒440、438和内芯442凹进以形成弹簧槽448、450、452、454,当内芯442和内套筒440被收缩进该外套筒438中时,以容纳该弹簧444、446的压缩的高度。
在加工中,并参考图3A和3B,该可收缩的心轴424在该预型件的开口端14之上设置成与该预型件10基本上同轴地对齐。当该心轴424处于如图所示到位之后,朝着该预型件10移动该心轴424并进入其开口端14中。该心轴424将图3A的预型件10的瓶颈部分18径向地并周向地拉制或拉伸成图3B的被拉伸的容器410的被拉伸的瓶颈部分418。该瓶颈部分418现在具有被拉伸的外螺纹422,其几何形状类似于该预型件外螺纹22,但是与该瓶颈部分418的其余部分一起被径向地和周向地扩大。因此,与预型件外螺纹22相比该外螺纹422被扩大和拉伸。进一步移动该心轴424深深地进入该预型件10,以径向地和周向地拉制或拉伸该主体部分16直到该心轴424的锥形部分428收缩。该心轴424收缩使得内芯442首先在该预型件10的分封闭端12上触底,并且随后收缩在该内套筒440内。随后,内套筒442在该预型件10的封闭端12上触底,并且然后收缩在外套筒438内。最后,外套筒438接触该预型件10的封闭端12,并且该外套筒的438的平坦端部436与内套筒440和内芯442的平坦端部456、458一起拉伸该预型件10,以形成图3B的容器410的平坦封闭端412。还考虑到,如果希望的话,套筒438、440和内芯442中的一个或多个可以是圆锥形的,以将心轴424更加逐渐地引入该预型件10中。更具体地说,内套筒440和内芯442两者可以是圆锥形的,以便从该内芯442的平坦端部458到该心轴424的平坦端部436提供连续的锥度。
图3C示出前述方法步骤和设备的结果,其中该容器410制造成具有拉伸的瓶颈部分418、拉伸的主体部分416和平坦封闭端412。
已经如此描述容器、和制造该容器的方法和设备的各种实施例,这些实施例满足前面提出的一个和多个目的和目标。本发明已经结合其当前优选实施例被公开,并且已经讨论了多个修改和变化。根据前面的说明本领域的技术人员将很容易提出其他修改和变化。例如结合相对于该预型件可移动的心轴公开了本发明。然而,本发明也考虑使用固定的心轴以及能够相对于该心轴移动的预型件。可以提供这种可供选择的方案而不脱离该公开。诸如顶、底、上、下、径向的、圆周的等方向性词语用于说明而不是限制。实际上,本发明旨在涵盖权利要求范围内的所有修改和变化。

Claims (12)

1.一种用于从预型件形成容器的设备,该预型件具有封闭端、相对地设置的开口端、从所述封闭端延伸并在所述开口端处终止于瓶颈部分的主体部分,所述预型件具有至少一个内径,所述设备包括:
在一端具有锥形部分的心轴;
所述锥形部分具有外径,该外径的尺寸大于所述预型件的所述至少一个内径,所述锥形部分能够移动进入所述预型件的所述开口端中,从而使所述心轴被接纳在所述预型件内,以便将所述预型件的所述瓶颈部分还有所述主体部分扩大成所述容器的被拉伸的瓶颈和主体部分,以便形成至少部分地成形的封闭端。
2.如权利要求1所述的设备,其中所述心轴具有主体部分,并且所述锥形部分在伸出位置和缩回位置之间是可移动的,其中在该伸出位置所述锥形部分伸出,在该缩回位置所述锥形部分收缩进所述心轴主体部分中。
3.如权利要求2所述的设备,其中所述心轴主体部分至少部分地由外套筒形成,而所述锥形部分至少部分地由至少一个设置在所述外套筒内的内部件形成,所述内部件是可收缩进所述外套筒中的,所述心轴能够被移动进入所述预型件主体中并到所述预型件的所述封闭端,直至所述至少一个内部件收缩在所述外套筒内,并且所述外套筒和所述至少一个内部件基本上形成所述容器的封闭端。
4.如权利要求3所述的设备,其中所述至少一个内部件包括设置在所述外套筒内的内套筒和设置在所述内套筒内的内芯,使得所述心轴能够移动进入所述预型件的所述主体部分中,并到所述预型件的所述封闭端,直至所述内芯收缩在所述内套筒内,并且所述内套筒收缩在所述外套筒内,从而所述外套筒、内套筒和所述内芯基本上形成所述容器的所述封闭端。
5.如权利要求1所述的设备,包括第二心轴,该第二心轴具有定形端和至少一个外径,该外径的尺寸基本上类似于所述心轴的所述至少一个外径,其中所述第二心轴可移动进入所述容器的所述开口端,以进一步形成所述预型件的所述至少部分地成形的封闭端,直至所述第二心轴的定形端将所述容器的所述至少部分地成形的封闭端定形,以形成所述容器的基本上完成的封闭端。
6.一种从预型件形成容器的方法,该预型件具有封闭端、相对地设置的开口端、从所述封闭端延伸并在所述开口端处终止于瓶颈部分的主体部分,所述预型件具有至少一个内径,所述方法包括以下步骤:
(a)提供心轴,该心轴在其一端具有锥形部分和至少一个外径,该外径的尺寸大于所述预型件的所述至少一个内径;
(b)移动所述心轴进入所述预型件的所述开口端,以扩大所述预型件的所述瓶颈部分;
(c)进一步移动所述心轴进入所述预型件从而还扩大所述预型件的所述主体壁部分,直至所述心轴的所述一端将所述预型件的所述密封端至少部分地形成为所述容器的至少部分地成形的封闭端,以及
(d)从所述容器退出所述心轴。
7.如权利要求6所述的方法,其中所述容器包括所述至少部分地成形的封闭端、相对地设置的开口端、从所述至少部分地成形的封闭端延伸并在所述开口端处终止于瓶颈部分的主体部分,所述方法包括如下步骤:
(e)提供第二心轴,该第二心轴具有定形端和至少一个外径,该外径的尺寸基本上类似于所述心轴的所述至少一个外径;
(f)移动所述第二心轴进入所述容器的所述开口端,以将所述预型件的所述至少部分地成形的封闭端定形,以形成所述容器的完成的封闭端,由此完成所述容器,以及
(g)将所述第二心轴从所述容器退出。
8.如权利要求6所述的方法,其中所述心轴的所述锥形部分是可收缩的,并且其中进一步移动所述心轴进入所述预型件的所述步骤(c)还包括进一步移动所述心轴以进一步扩大所述所述预型件的所述主体部分直至所述心轴的所述锥形部分收缩,由此形成所述容器的完成的封闭端,该封闭端的直径基本上类似于所述心轴的所述至少一个外径。
9.如权利要求8所述的方法,其中所述步骤(a)包括提供具有所述锥形部分的所述心轴,该锥形部分由外套筒和至少一个内部件形成,所述内部件是可收缩进入所述外套筒的,而且其中所述步骤(c)包括继续移动所述心轴进入所述预型件的所述主体部分并到所述封闭端,直至所述至少一个内部件收缩在所述外套筒内,并且所述外套筒和所述至少一个内部件基本上形成所述容器的所述完成的封闭端。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法,其中所述步骤(a)包括由所述外套筒和所述至少一个内部件形成所述锥形部分,所述至少一个内部件包括设置在所述外套筒内的内套筒和设置在所述内套筒内的内芯,而且其中所述步骤(c)包括继续移动所述心轴进入所述主体部分并到所述预型件的所述封闭端,直至所述内芯收缩在所述内套筒内,并且所述内套筒收缩在所述外套筒内,从而所述外套筒、内套筒和所述内芯基本上形成所述容器的所述完成的封闭端。
11.如权利要求6所述的方法,包括在所述步骤(b)之前或所述步骤(b)期间加热所述预型件。
12.一种用权利要求6所述方法制造的容器。
