背景技术
在用于橡胶混合物制备的现代加工中已知的是,采用一种包括封闭式混合器的系统,所述封闭式混合器通常被称为“班伯里混合器(Banbury mixer)”,配有被称为“倾卸式挤出机(Dump Extruder)”的双螺杆挤出机(图5)。这种系统被设置成将通常为橡胶或硅酮基聚合物的原材料在封闭式班伯里型(取自发明者的名字)混合器内与填料和各种添加剂混合,均匀混合的混合物以有规则间隔从所述混合器中排出,被称为“配料”,其落入位于下方的倾卸式挤出机的给料箱内。
换句话说,在操作过程中,封闭式混合器以有规则间隔向倾卸式挤出机供给被混合的材料的配料,这样反而起到了使如此制备的—通常以连续的条状或叶状的形状排出的混合物配料变形的作用,所述混合物配料随后被冷却并被送至后续的加工工序。
这一系统的备选方案是,在开放式圆筒混合器内进行待挤出的混合物的制备工序:但是,为了获得优质的配料,这种类型的混合器需要有操作者一直存在,在需要的时候通过切断并将混合物再次导入混合器而对被混合的材料进行处理。
这种圆筒混合器体积大,价格昂贵并且不是自动机器,同时使操作者处于较高程度的受伤危险下。
本发明的目的是通过提供一种不需要用于制备橡胶混合物或硅酮基材料的开放式圆筒混合器的机器来克服这些缺陷。
这一目的通过如在附加的主权利要求中以其重要技术特征描述的机器来实现。

具体实施方式
如图1所示,根据本发明的混合器主要包括通常被称为倾卸式挤出机的锥形双螺杆挤出机,例如由Colmec S.p.A制造的样机CTE(锥形双挤出机)。
混合器包括固定基座1,一支柱从其前端升起以支承具有给料箱3的双螺杆本体2。固定基座的上表面还具有导轨4,在其上能够平移马达本体6的滑动支承件5。
属于马达本体6的还有减速单元7,接头8以及挤出螺杆的支承箱9,两个锥形螺杆10从所述支承箱离开,并被封装在双螺杆本体2的配料腔内。
在图3中可以看到,两个锥形螺杆10相互啮合并向着双螺杆本体2的出口会聚。它们通过马达本体6以相对旋转的方式被驱动旋转。
此外,配料腔12穿过接口管12a向给料箱3开口。
根据本发明,封口的密封法兰11设置在双螺杆本体2的出口上。法兰11可以很容易地被拆除,从而只要在混合工序过程中需要,就可以保持出口封闭,同时其也可以被拆除以使挤出材料在混合结束后排出。
根据一种更简单的实施方式,封口法兰11简单地螺栓连接在双螺杆本体2上。备选地是,其可以在一侧被铰接并在另一侧通过锁销固定。
通过这一设计,本申请人能够以完全与众不同和意想不到的方式构造出一种常规的倾卸式挤出机,从而其以一种未被设计的身份即作为混合器运行。实际上,由于倾卸式挤出机的出口如上所述被封闭,因此通过给料箱3引入的材料被迫在腔12内环绕本身再循环,形成均匀的混合。
特别地,在运行过程中,封口法兰11处于密闭位置,待混合的材料例如橡胶、填料、催化剂等通过给料箱3被装载并供给到配料腔12内。马达的起动以及由此产生的锥形螺杆10的相对的旋转将待混合的材料压向出口。但是,封口法兰11不允许配料排出到腔12外,并迫使材料向着腔的后向再循环。因此在处于低压的材料供给区和封口法兰附近处于高压的“管道”区之间得到递增的压力梯度(图4A)。在可变压力区之间的各种基本成分的再循环允许快速并有效地使混合物得到混合。
为了避免混合物停滞在腔的前部,根据本发明的优选实施方式,锥形螺杆10被布置在双螺杆本体2内以使它们的前端与封口法兰11接触。这样,所有的材料被迫返回到低压区,避免了不希望出现的停滞。
一旦混合操作完成,则封口法兰11被拆除并且具有开放式拉模板的法兰110被安装。旋转中的螺杆10由此穿过开放式拉模板将混合物推向后续加工工序。
本申请人能够证实,这种与众不同的倾卸式挤出机的结构就各成分的均匀配料、分配和散布以及整个加工过程的性价比而言可以获得优异的结果。
以下对完成一个样本的加工周期进行描述。
在根据本发明的机器中通过给料箱引入硅酮基聚合物;此后立即加入染色剂、催化剂和一些填料。混合物被认作准备用于仅10分钟后的后续挤出加工。
有利地是,挤出机被设计成使得双螺杆本体2和锥形螺杆10的清洁操作尤其容易:平移滑动支承件5使锥形螺杆10可以完全从双螺杆本体2中被拆除,因此允许清除在腔12内存在的任何材料残余。
能够很容易理解的是,本发明以完全原创的方式明智地克服了在前序中概括出的关于橡胶基和硅酮基塑性材料混合时出现的问题。
该加工是自动的,无论操作者技术如何都可以获得均匀的产物。
此外,可以在完全密闭的空间内实施该加工,使操作者的健康得到安全保护,操作者不再被迫在危险的环境中工作。
如此提供的机器还可以明显地降低在混合和挤出加工过程中的总的功率输入。
根据本发明一个特别有利的实施方式(图4B),双螺杆本体的整个加工腔通过封口法兰11和盖14密封,盖14被特别设计成密封给料箱的接口管12a。这样,可以在真空下进行混合,由此防止在混合物中含有不期望出现的气泡,而这些气泡会导致挤出机中出现半成品的缺陷。
该实施方式尤其充分地利用了根据本发明的机器的特征,实际上塑性材料从原材料直到其挤出贯穿整个加工线保持处于真空条件下,因为其甚至不必从分开的混合器移动到挤出机,由此更好地保证了均匀性并且不存在气体夹杂物。
但是应该认识到,本发明并不限于以上说明的特定实施方式,这些实施方式仅代表本发明范围的非限制性实例,但在不脱离本发明范围的前提下可以做出多种变化,所有的变化都是本领域的熟练技术人员能够想到的。
Claims (7)
1.一种用于橡胶基和硅酮基塑性材料的混合和挤出机器,这种类型的机器包括装有位于配料腔内的锥形会聚的双螺杆的倾卸式挤出机,其特征在于,所述配料腔的出口暂时由可拆除的封口法兰密封,所述配料腔还作为混合腔。
2.如权利要求1所述的机器,其特征在于,所述锥形螺杆(10)的前端与所述密封的封口法兰(11)接触。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的机器,其特征在于,所述配料腔能够以气密方式密封以在真空条件下实施混合加工。
4.如权利要求1、2或3所述的机器,其特征在于,所述锥形螺杆是相对旋转的。
5.一种半成品橡胶基或硅酮基塑性产品的混合和挤出方法,所述类型的方法包括从装有两个锥形会聚的双螺杆的倾卸式挤出机中对所述半成品进行挤出的工序,其特征在于,所述方法还包括以下在前的工序:
在倾卸式挤出机的出口上安装密闭所述出口的封口法兰,
将待混合的原材料供给到所述锥形螺杆的配料腔内,
起动倾卸式挤出机运行所需时间以在所述腔内获得原材料的混合,
拆除所述封口法兰并使倾卸式挤出机继续运行,直到混合物的挤出。
6.如权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,在引入所述原材料的工序后,还实施以下工序:
在原材料被引入的开口上提供密封盖,
在整个混合时间内使所述配料腔处于真空条件下。
7.如权利要求5或6所述的方法,其特征在于,在拆除所述封口法兰后,安装具有所需形状的开放式拉模板的法兰。
