Abstract

本发明涉及一种高性能低贵金属Pt-Rh型汽车尾气净化三效催化剂。该催化剂的涂覆层包括耐热氧化物负载的pt,含铈复合氧化物负载的Rh,NOx吸附组分和助剂组分组成。催化剂层涂覆于堇青石蜂窝陶瓷基体或金属蜂窝基体之上。

Description

高性能低贵金属三效催化剂
一、技术领域
本文涉及一种高性能低贵金属Pt-Rh型汽车尾气净化催化剂及制备方法,该催化剂能有效地净化从汽车排放的废气中的CO、HC和NOx。
二、背景技术
三效催化剂中的汽车尾气净化催化剂用Pt、Pd、Rh等贵金属作为活性组分,能同时净化废气中的CO、HC和NOx。近年来,三效催化剂技术取得了巨大的进步,汽车尾气的净化效率得到了很大提高。但同时带来的问题是由于汽车尾气净化催化剂的大量使用,世界贵金属产量的大部分已用于汽车尾气净化催化剂。而在世界范围内,Pt、Pd、Rh等贵金属的储量极少并主要分布在南非和俄罗斯等少数国家,贵金属价格昂贵。目前,从科学的角度看,还没有其他元素能够取代贵金属作为汽车尾气净化催化剂的活性组分,还得使用贵金属。从净化汽车尾气的角度,需要高性能汽车尾气净化催化剂。从贵金属资源的储量和价格的角度,需要用更低量的贵金属作为汽车尾气净化催化剂的活性组分以减少贵金属资源的消耗和降低催化剂的成本。因此,发展高性能低贵金属催化剂是需要的。
三、发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种高性能低贵金属Pt-Rh型汽车尾气净化催化剂,其特点是贵金属用量低,并且具有优良的低温起燃性能和高温抗老化性能。
本发明的上述发明目的是通过采取以下技术方案来实现。
本发明的催化剂由含有Pt,Rh活性组分,吸附组分和助剂组分的催化剂层涂覆在堇青石蜂窝陶瓷基体上构成。催化剂层含有耐热氧化物负载的Pt,含铈复合氧化物负载的Rh,NOx吸附剂和助剂。整个催化剂层能高效还原NOx为N2,氧化CO和HC为CO2和H2O,从而起到净化汽车尾气的作用。在催化剂层中,负载的Rh主要起净化NOx和CO的作用,负载的Pt主要起净化HC和CO的作用,NOx吸附剂主要起吸附NOx供催化还原,助剂起增强催化活性和稳定性的作用。整个催化剂层是一个协调的,高效的整体。
本发明所用的耐热氧化物为稳定的γ-Al2O3粉末,具有的比表面积大于100m2/g并用稳定剂稳定化。耐热氧化物的稳定性对于催化剂的活性和寿命是重要的,因为催化剂在使用过程中有时要暴露在1000℃以上的高温尾气中,若耐热氧化物不稳定,将发生微孔的烧结和比表面的降低,导致负载的贵金属的封闭和烧结,催化活性的显著下降。稳定剂包括稀土元素Ce、Y、La、Nd、Sm的氧化物和碱土元素Ca、Mg、Ba、Sr的氧化物中的至少一种。例如用已知的浸渍法将氧化镧掺入到Al2O3中,2-5%的氧化镧即可达到稳定化的目的。
本发明所用的含铈复合氧化物作为储氧组分,可采用共沉淀法制备。所得复合氧化物用下式表示:Ce0.10+xZr0.75-xMyO2-z,M表示碱土金属Ca、Mg、Ba、Sr或稀土金属Y、La、Nd、Sm中的一种或几种,Z表示“O”空位,X表示原子比例0.00-0.70,Y表示原子比例0.00-0.20,0.10+X表示原子比例0.10-0.70,0.75-X表示原子比例0.00-0.70。
根据催化剂的制备要求,用共沉淀法制备出不同比例的含铈复合氧化物,按化学计量比称取一定量的Ce(NO3)3·6H2O、ZrO(NO3)2·6H2O、Y(NO3)3·6H2O、La(NO3)3·6H2O、Ba(NO3)2、Sr(NO3)2,配成一定浓度的盐溶液,再用一定浓度的NH3·H2O溶液作沉淀剂进行滴定,沉淀完成后,最终的PH值约为10,然后沉淀物经过过滤,洗涤,干燥,焙烧后,得到各种不同铈含量的如下含铈复合氧化物:
A:Ce0.15Zr0.60Y0.15O2
B:Ce0.25Zr0.55La0.15O2
C:Ce0.35Zr0.50Y0.15O2
D:Ce0.45Zr0.45La0.15O2
E:Ce0.55Zr0.30Y0.15O2
F:Ce0.70Zr0.15La0.15O2
G:Ce0.35Zr0.55Y0.10O2
H:Ce0.35Zr0.55La0.10O2
I:Ce0.35Zr0.55Ba0.10O2
J:Ce0.35Zr0.55Sr0.10O2
本发明所使用的NOx吸附剂包括碱土金属Mg、Ba、Sr的氧化物中的一种或几种。加入催化剂层中,起吸附NOx供催化转化的作用。
本发明所使用的助剂包括稀土元素Ce、Y、La、Nd、Sm的氧化物以及Zr、Ni、Fe的氧化物的一种或几种。助剂加入催化剂层中,起增加活性和热稳定性的作用。
在催化剂中,稳定的γ-Al2O3,含铈复合氧化物,NOx吸附剂和助剂的物料比优选为:100∶40-65∶6-15∶14-25
选用的基体是堇青石蜂窝陶瓷基体或金属蜂窝基体,孔密度为400cpsi(cells per squareinch)及以上。小样基体由大块基体切割而成,并制成φ12×25的近圆柱体。
本发明提供的高性能低贵金属催化剂通过下述的方法制备:
(1)将活性组分Pt,Rh分别负载于稳定的γ-Al2O3和含铈复合氧化物上并进行固定化处理;
(2)将负载有Pt,Rh活性组分的稳定的γ-Al2O3,含铈复合氧化物,NOx吸附剂的前体与助剂的前体一并研磨制成固体重量含量为25-51%的涂层液;
(3)将基体浸于涂层液中;
(4)基体从涂层液中取出用压缩空气吹除基体孔中多余的涂层液;
(5)将涂覆了涂层液的基体经干燥后进行焙烧,使催化剂涂层固化在基体上,即制得本发明的催化剂。
在上述制备方法中,负载有活性组分的稳定的γ-Al2O3和含铈复合氧化物最好在100-150℃的环境条件下干燥4-8小时,之后再在400-500℃条件下焙烧2-4小时。涂有涂层液的基体最好在100-150℃的环境条件下干燥3-5小时,之后再在400-550℃条件下焙烧3-5小时。
发明人对本发明提供的高性能低贵金属催化剂的性能进行了测试,本发明的催化剂(贵金属含量为0.3~0.75g/L)老化前表现出低的起燃温度和优异的三效性能。经1000℃水热老化后,催化剂对HC的起燃温度在300℃左右,三效性能优异,表现出优异的抗老化性能。
本发明与现有技术相比,最大的贡献是催化剂的贵金属含量低至0.3~0.75g/L的情况下,催化剂具有优异的三效性能和抗老化性能。

四、具体实施方式
实施例1
将RhCl3盐溶液浸渍在含铈复合氧化物A的粉末上,将H2PtCl6的盐溶液负载在La-Al2O3上,然后分别在110℃干燥3小时,500℃焙烧3小时,得到两种催化剂粉末。然后加入NOx吸附剂前体硝酸钡和硝酸锶,助剂前体硝酸锆,硝酸钇和硝酸镍,再加入适量蒸馏水,球磨,制成固含量为40%浆液。用浆液涂覆堇青石基体,用压缩空气吹除基体孔中多余的浆液,在120℃干燥2小时,500℃焙烧3小时,得到样品。催化剂的贵金属的总量为0.75g/L,Pt/Rh为5/1,涂层量140g/L,La-Al2O3 67g/L,铈复合氧化物A 46g/L,BaO 6g/L,SrO 5g/L,ZrO2 5g/L,Y2O3 4g/L,NiO 7g/L。计为催化剂1。
实施例2
用含铈复合氧化物B,其余的步骤与实施例1相同。催化剂的贵金属的总量为0.5g/L,Pt/Rh为5/1得到催化剂2。
实施例3
用含铈复合氧化物C,其余的与实施例1相同。催化剂的贵金属的总量为0.3g/L,Pt/Rh为4/1得到催化剂3。
实施例4
用含铈复合氧化物D,稳定的γ-Al2O3为Ce-Sm-Al2O3,NOx吸附剂前体将硝酸钡和硝酸镁,助剂前体为硝酸锆,硝酸镧和硝酸铁,其余的步骤与实施例1相同。催化剂的贵金属的总量为0.75g/L,Pt/Rh为5/1,涂层量144g/L,La-Al2O3 75g/L,铈复合氧化物D 50g/L,BaO 3g/L,MgO 3g/L,ZrO2 4g/L,La2O3 3g/L,FeO 6g/L得到催化剂4。
实施例5
用含铈复合氧化物E,稳定的γ-Al2O3为Y-Zr-Al2O3,NOx吸附剂前体将硝酸钡,助剂前体为硝酸钐和硝酸镨,其余的步骤与实施例1相同。催化剂的贵金属的总量为0.7g/L,Pt/Rh为5/1,涂层量140g/L,Y-Zr-Al2O3 75g/L,铈复合氧化物E 50g/L,BaO 6g/L,Sm2O3 4g/L,Nd2O3 5g/L,得到催化剂5。
实施例6
用含铈复合氧化物F,稳定的γ-Al2O3为Ba-Sr-Al2O3,其余的与实施例1相同。得到催化剂6。
实施例7
用含铈复合氧化物G,稳定的γ-Al2O3为Mg-Nd-Al2O3,,其余的与实施例1相同。得到催化剂7。
实施例8
用含铈复合氧化物H,稳定的γ-Al2O3为Ca-La-Al2O3,其余的与实施例1相同。得到催化剂8。
实施例9
用含铈复合氧化物I,稳定的γ-Al2O3为Ba-Al2O3,其余的与实施例1相同。得到催化剂9。
实施例10
用含铈复合氧化物J,其余的与实施例1相同。

催化剂的性能评价
老化处理
将催化剂装入石英管中,置于在高温炉中,通入空气(10%H2O),1000℃焙烧5小时。活性评价
将催化剂小样装入催化剂性能评价反应装置中,通入模拟气进行活性评价。模拟气的组成为:CO(0.79%)、C3H8(360ppm)、NO(1200ppm)、CO2(12%)和H2O(10%),其余为N2。气体的体积空速为50000h-1,检测不同温度下反应前后尾气中的CO、C3H8、NO的含量。

Claims (6)

1.低贵金属Pt-Rh型汽车尾气净化催化剂,其特征在于组成如下:
由耐热氧化物负载的Pt粉末,含铈复合氧化物负载的Rh粉末,碱土金属Mg、Ba、Sr氧化物中的至少一种组成的NOx吸附剂,和由稀土元素Ce、Y、La、Nd、Sm的氧化物以及Zr、Ni、Fe的氧化物的至少一种组成的助剂构成催化剂层,催化剂层涂覆于基体之上;
其中,贵金属含量为0.3-0.75g/L;
所说的含铈复合氧化物用下式表示:Ce0.10+xZr0.75-xMyO2-z,其中M表示碱土金属Ca、Mg、Ba、Sr或稀土金属Y、La、Pr、Sm中的一种或几种,z表示“O”空位,x表示原子比例0.00-0.70,y表示原子比例0.00-0.20,0.10+x表示原子比例0.10-0.80,0.75-x表示原子比例0.05-0.75。
2.根据权利要求1所述的低贵金属Pt-Rh型汽车尾气净化催化剂,其特征在于所说的耐热氧化物是用稀土氧化物和碱土金属氧化物稳定的γ-Al2O3,稳定剂包括稀土元素Ce、Y、La、Nd、Sm的氧化物和碱土元素Ca、Mg、Ba、Sr的氧化物中的至少一种。
3.根据权利要求1所述的低贵金属Pt-Rh型汽车尾气净化催化剂,其特征在于所说的NOx吸附剂为碱土金属Mg、Ba、Sr的氧化物中的一种或几种。
4.根据权利要求2或3所述的低贵金属Pt-Rh型汽车尾气净化催化剂,其特征在于催化剂中,耐热氧化物,含铈复合氧化物,NOx吸附剂和助剂的质量比为:100∶40-65∶6-15∶14-25。
5.根据权利要求1所述的低贵金属Pt-Rh型汽车尾气净化催化剂,其特征在于催化剂涂覆于基体之上,基体为堇青石蜂窝陶瓷基体或金属蜂窝基体,孔密度为大于或等于400孔/平方英寸。
6.根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的低贵金属Pt-Rh型汽车尾气净化催化剂的制备方法,其特征在于包括以下工艺步骤:
(1)将活性组分Pt,Rh分别负载于耐热氧化物和含铈复合氧化物上并进行固定化处理;
(2)将(1)中得到的含Pt的耐热氧化物粉末和含Rh的含铈复合氧化物粉末与NOx吸附剂的前体和助剂的前体一并研磨制成固体重量含量为25-51%的涂层液;
(3)将基体浸于涂层液中;
(4)基体从涂层液中取出用压缩空气吹除基体孔中多余的涂层液;
(5)将涂覆了涂层液的基体经干燥后进行焙烧,使催化剂涂层固化在基体上。
