使用热熔薄膜将两层织物粘附在一起需要提供压力和热量。这通常在层压机中由两个受热的带式送布器(heated belt feed)提供,带式送布器布置成将织物层输送到其间,同时加热和加压以熔化热熔薄膜并将织物层粘附在一起。
然而,结合有该两个受热的带式送布器的层压机不适于产生成形的折边,即沿着弯曲轮廓线的折边,这是因为已知的层压机仅沿直线操作。
发明内容
根据本发明的一方面,提供了一种使用粘合剂带给纺织品缝边的缝边机,其包括支架和设置成拉着纺织品穿过支架的送布组件,该送布组件包括设置成在第一位置和第二位置之间运动的带式送布器,在第一位置带式送布器与支架隔开,以允许纺织品插入在带式送布器和支架之间,在第二位置带式送布器向着支架运动,使得当纺织品位于带式送布器和支架之间时,带式送布器将纺织品压靠在支架上。

根据本发明的第三方面,提供了一种使用粘合剂带给纺织品缝边的方法,包括下述步骤:

(ii)将所述折边输送到带式送布器和支架之间,所述带式送布器给所述折边加压以密封所述折边。

图1示出根据本发明实施例的缝边机10。
缝边机10包括支架12和送布组件14,送布组件14包括受热的压脚16和围绕压脚16延伸以形成受热的带式送布器(belt feed)的从动带18(图2)。带18优选地由特氟纶(注册商标)制成。
压脚16优选地可在第一位置和第二位置之间运动,在第一位置带18与支架12隔开,在第二位置带18向着支架12运动。压脚16的运动范围可以调节,以在第一和第二位置调节带18相对于支架12的位置。
在图1所示的实施例中,支架12为板20的形式,缝边机10包括具有一对爪式送布器(claw feed)24、26的第二送布组件22,每个爪式送布器通过形成在板20中的孔28、30、31突出(图3)。爪式送布器24、26可设置成提供差动输送。
当缝边机10用于形成相对较精细的织物中的接缝时,与受热的带式送布器组合采用差动输送是有利的。这是因为差动输送有助于将织物输送通过机器10,从而减小织物起皱或成褶的危险。因此,其有助于生产更平滑的折边。
在其它实施例中,第二送布组件22可修改为包括单一爪式送布器,或包括围绕板延伸以在板20表面的上方提供第二送布器的从动带。在另一些实施例中,可以不包括第二送布组件22。
在不包括第二送布组件22的实施例中,板20可用相对较低的摩擦系数的材料覆盖,例如特氟纶(注册商标)。这减小了工作期间产生在板20和被拉过板20的纺织品之间的摩擦量。
或者,板20可包括空转带(优选地由特氟纶(注册商标)制成),该空转带围绕板20延伸,与送布组件14的带18对准,使得其可自由围绕板20运动。提供该空转带减小了产生在板20和被拉过板20的纺织品之间的摩擦量。

提供将热空气导向从动带18的输出喷嘴32和/或提供受热板20减小了使用中受热带式送布器的热量需求,受热带式送布器用于熔化包封在两层织物之间的热熔带。从而提高了缝边机10的效率。

在本发明的其它实施例中,所设想的是,热熔带44可以是包括弹性衬底的层叠结构,该弹性衬底具有层叠到其一个表面或两个表面的热熔薄膜。该弹性衬底可以是例如弹性体材料带或弹性纱的织造带。使用中,该类型的层叠结构允许形成有松紧性的折边。
在本发明的另一些实施例中,所设想的是,弹性的或其它承载衬底可结合有热熔粘合剂。例如,该衬底可结合有格里隆(注册商标)线或周期性地位于衬底表面上的少量热熔粘合剂。
一旦预定量的热熔带44已传送到折边形成脚36,则待缝边的织物片的边缘从折边形成脚36的下方通过,使得热熔带44位于脚36和织物之间。
该织物定位成使得其边缘从脚36的相反侧突出,并可折叠以置于折边形成脚36的倾斜表面48上,从而形成包封热熔带的折边,如图9和10中示意性地示出。由空气喷嘴50提供的空气射流使织物抵靠在倾斜表面48上,因此防止了织物张开。
优选的是,由第二空气喷嘴51提供的空气射流迫使织物位于折边形成脚36和压脚16之间当中的附加支架46,以防止织物在折边形成脚36和压脚16之间张开。
受热压脚16运动到其第二位置,使得从动带18远离板20运动。接着在使受热压脚16运动回到其第一位置之前,包含热熔带44的折边位于从动带18和板20之间,以将折边压在板20上。
而后驱动从动带18,以拉着折边跨过板20,同时向折边加热和加压,以使热熔带44熔化并密封折边,如图11中示意性地示出。
同时,热熔带传送组件38的控制装置将热熔带44输送到折边形成脚36,以在热熔带44被从动带18拉到受热压脚16下方之前将热熔带44继续输送到折边中。
当从动带18拉着折边跨过板20时,压脚输出喷嘴34优选地将热空气导向从动带18下游的折边的内部空隙中,如图9中示意性地示出。这使得热熔带44在从动带18下方通过之前预熔化热熔带44。因此,减小了受热压脚16所需的用于密封折边的热量。
此外,热量优选地通过来自设置在板20中的输出喷嘴32的或者来自位于板20下面的加热元件的热空气从下面施加到折边。这也减小了受热压脚16所需的用于密封折边的热量。
由于采用了来自板20中的输出喷嘴32的或者来自压脚输出喷嘴34的热空气,因此减小了对受热压脚16所需的热量,压脚16的温度可以降低。当织物相对较精细时,这特别有利,因为这减少了烧焦织物或在其上留下痕迹的危险。
在缝边机10包括爪式送布器24、26形式或第二从动带形式的第二送布组件22的实施例中,第二送布组件22与从动带18同时受到驱动,以帮助从动带18拉着织物包封跨过板20。
在其它实施例中,送布组件14可用于在缝边过程期间不给折边加热。
在使用热熔粘合剂带的实施例中,热熔粘合剂带可通过将热空气射流导向送布组件下游的包封热熔带的折边的内部空隙中而熔化。有助于熔化热熔带的另外的加热可由当拉着折边在送布组件14和支架12之间通过时被导向折边下面的热空气射流提供。
在使用压力粘合剂带的实施例中,折边通过送布组件14对支架12的压力而得以密封。
虽然已具体参照沿着织物片的边缘形成折边而描述了本发明,但是所设想的是,缝边机可用于将两片织物固定在一起,其中例如在滚边或缝合操作中一片织物围绕另一片织物的边缘折叠。

Claims (31)

1.一种使用粘合剂带给纺织品缝边的缝边机,其包括支架和设置成拉着纺织品穿过所述支架的送布组件,所述送布组件包括设置成在第一位置和第二位置之间运动的带式送布器,在所述第一位置所述带式送布器与所述支架隔开,以允许纺织品插入在所述带式送布器和所述支架之间,在所述第二位置所述带式送布器向着所述支架运动,使得当纺织品位于所述带式送布器和所述支架之间时,所述带式送布器将所述纺织品压靠在所述支架上。
2.根据权利要求1的缝边机,其中,所述粘合剂带是热熔粘合剂带,并且所述带式送布器被加热。
3.根据权利要求2的缝边机,其中,所述受热的带式送布器包括围绕给所述带传热的受热体延伸的从动带。
4.根据上述权利要求中任一项的缝边机,还包括第二送布组件,所述第一和第二送布组件设置成从纺织品的相反侧输送所述纺织品穿过所述支架。
5.根据上述权利要求中任一项的缝边机,其中,所述支架包括板元件。
6.根据权利要求5的缝边机,其中,所述板元件至少部分地由特氟纶(注册商标)覆盖。
7.根据权利要求5或权利要求6的缝边机,其中,空转带围绕所述板元件延伸,使得所述空转带与由所述受热带式送布器拉着跨过所述板元件的纺织品的下表面接触。
8.根据权利要求4和权利要求5或权利要求6的缝边机,其中,所述第二送布组件包括从动带,所述从动带围绕所述板元件延伸,以与由所述带式送布器拉着跨过所述板元件的纺织品的下表面接触。
9.根据上述权利要求5-8中任一项的缝边机,其中,所述板元件被加热。
10.根据上述权利要求中任一项的缝边机,其中,所述带或每个带由特氟纶(注册商标)制成。
11.根据权利要求4的缝边机,其中,所述第二送布组件包括爪式送布器。
12.根据权利要求11的缝边机,其中,所述第二送布组件包括设置成提供差动输送的一对爪式送布器。
13.根据权利要求11或权利要求12的缝边机,其中,所述支架包括板元件,并且所述爪式送布器或每个爪式送布器设置成通过设置在所述板元件中的孔而突出。
14.根据上述权利要求中任一项的缝边机,还包括位于所述带式送布器下游的折边形成装置。
15.根据权利要求2到14中任一项或多项的缝边机,还包括喷嘴,所述喷嘴连接到热空气源并设置成将热空气导向形成在纺织品上包含热熔带的折边的内部空隙中,以在所述受热的带式送布器下游预熔化所述热熔粘合剂带。
16.根据权利要求3和权利要求15的缝边机,其中,所述喷嘴设置在所述受热体中。
17.根据权利要求2到16中任一项或多项的缝边机,其中,所述支架包括至少一个辅助喷嘴,所述辅助喷嘴连接到热空气源,以将热空气导向所述受热的带式送布器。
18.根据权利要求2到17中任一项或多项的缝边机,其中,所述热熔粘合剂带是热熔薄膜。
19.根据权利要求2到17中任一项或多项的缝边机,其中,所述热熔粘合剂带是包括弹性衬底的层叠结构,所述弹性衬底具有层叠到其相反表面的热熔粘合薄膜。
20.一种将缝纫机转换成使用粘合剂带给纺织品缝边的缝边机的缝纫机改装设备,包括用于代替缝纫机压脚的附件,所述附件包括带式送布器。
21.根据权利要求20的缝纫机改装设备,其中,所述带式送布器包括适于受热的主体和围绕所述主体延伸的带。
22.根据权利要求21的缝纫机改装设备,其中,所述主体包括喷嘴,所述喷嘴用于容纳热空气并将所述热空气导向形成在纺织品上包含热熔带的折边的内部空隙中,以在所述带式送布器的下游预熔化所述热熔带。
23.一种使用粘合剂带给纺织品缝边的方法,包括下述步骤:
(i)折叠所述纺织品的边缘以形成折边,并将粘合剂带插入,使得所述粘合剂带位于所述折边的内部空隙中;和
(ii)将所述折边输送到带式送布器和支架之间,所述带式送布器给所述折边加压以密封所述折边。
24.根据权利要求23的给纺织品缝边的方法,其中,步骤(i)还包括在折叠所述纺织品的边缘以形成折边之前,将所述粘合剂带放在所述纺织品的边缘上的子步骤。
25.根据权利要求24的给纺织品缝边的方法,其中,所述粘合剂带是热熔粘合剂带,并且所述带式送布器被加热。
26.根据权利要求25的给纺织品缝边的方法,还包括在将所述折边输送到所述受热的带式送布器和所述支架之间之前,将热空气射流导向所述折边的内部空隙中以预熔化所述热熔粘合剂带的步骤。
27.根据权利要求25或权利要求26的给纺织品缝边的方法,还包括在将包封输送到所述受热的带式送布器和所述支架之间时,将一个或多个热空气射流导向所述包封的步骤。
28.根据权利要求25到27中任一项的给纺织品缝边的方法,其中所述热熔带是热熔薄膜。
29.根据权利要求25到27中任一项的给纺织品缝边的方法,所述热熔带是包括弹性衬底的层叠结构,所述弹性衬底具有层叠到其相反表面的热熔薄膜。
30.一种使用热熔带给纺织品缝边的缝边机,其包括支架、送布组件和喷嘴,所述送布组件设置成拉着纺织品穿过所述支架同时将所述纺织品压靠在所述支架上,所述喷嘴连接到热空气源并设置成将热空气导向形成在纺织品上包含热熔带的折边的内部空隙中,以在所述送布组件的下游预熔化所述热熔带。
31.一种使用热熔带给纺织品缝边的方法,包括下述步骤:
(i)折叠所述纺织品的边缘以形成折边,并将热熔带插入,使得所述热熔带位于所述折边的内部空隙中;
(ii)将热空气射流导向所述折边的内部空隙中,以预熔化所述热熔带;和
(ii)将所述折边输送到送布组件和支架之间,所述送布组件给所述折边加压以密封所述折边。
