Abstract

本发明提供一种合成树脂制瓶型容器。该合成树脂制瓶型容器(1)具有沿胴部(3)的外表面延展的环形沟(10),且该环形沟(10)由沟底壁(11)、从沟底壁(11)与胴部(3)的外表面进行连接的沟侧壁(12a、12b)而被限定。环形沟(10)的沟侧壁(12a、12b)在包含胴部(3)的中心轴线(A)的纵断面内,大致呈直线状延伸。至少一个沟侧壁(12a、12b)在容器(1)的纵断面内,对与胴部(3)的中心轴线(A)直交的基准线(L),具有20°以下的倾斜角度(α,β)。

Description

合成树脂制瓶型容器
技本领域
本发明是关于一种具有沿胴部的表面进行延展的环形沟的合成树脂制瓶型容器。
背景技术
在通常情况下,由聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(polyethyleneterephthalate,以下称作[PET]。)等的合成树脂所构成的瓶型容器因为胴部壁厚较薄,所以在容器的内压下降时不只是胴部变形为椭圆形而使外观受损,且伴随胴部的变形而呈现容器的自立稳定性下降的倾向。在这一点上,合成树脂制瓶型容器在对使容器利用其底面进行滑行而输送的填充线,和可收纳与排出多个容器的自动售货机等的适应性方面,与玻璃和铝等所构成的瓶型容器相比,还有改善的余地。
为了解决该问题,习知已有一种在合成树脂制的瓶型容器中,于胴部的外表面上形成一条或复数条的环形沟,并藉由利用该沟部的瓶纵方向的收缩变形,而提高容器对内压下降的减压吸收能力,对减压强度和压曲强度进行补偿的技术。例如,在日本专利早期公开的特开平9-272523号公报中,揭示有一种在使环形沟的沟底在与容器的中心轴线直交的面内呈多角形配置,而使减压强度提高的合成树脂制的瓶型容器。但是,在这种情况下,利用宽度狭窄的沟底所形成的多角形的角部成为梁,会妨碍利用沟部的瓶纵方向的收缩,且在吹塑成形等时需要比较严格的制造管理。
因此,希望有一种不需要严格的制造管理,尽管胴部的外表面上的环形沟具有更加简单的形状,但可有效的抑制伴随容器的内压下降而造成的瓶胴部的椭圆变形,且可充分地体现所需的减压强度和压曲(buckling)强度的树脂瓶。
发明内容
本发明的课题是提供一种满足这种希望的合成树脂制瓶型容器。
作为该课题的解决方法,本发明为一种沿胴部的外表面具有环形沟,且环形沟利用沟底壁、由该沟底壁与胴部的外表面连接的沟侧壁而被限定的合成树脂制瓶型容器,其特征在于:前述环状沟的至少一个沟侧壁在包含胴部的中心轴线的纵断面内大致呈直线状延伸,且在前述纵断面内对与前述中心轴线直交的基准线,形成大于等于0°且小于等于20°范围内的角度。
如利用本发明的上述构成,则尽管环形沟具有可利用比较容易的制造管理而实现的简单形状,但在因热填充后的冷却等而使容器内压下降时,可达成利用环形沟的圆滑的容器的中心轴线方向的收缩,而且,即使在收缩状态过度进行的情况下,也形成环形沟的上下端连接的状态,所以不会产生该状态以后的压曲强度的降低,可抑制胴部的椭圆变形,且可确保必要的压曲强度并提高减压强度。
在本发明中,在前述环形沟的彼此对向的侧壁壁在前述纵断面内呈直线状延伸的情况下,这些沟侧壁对前述基准线形成的角度之和小于等于30°较为适当。
另外,在本发明中,前述环形沟采用其沟宽较沟深小的构成较为适当。

具体实施方式
在图1中,参照数字1表示关于本发明的一实施形态的聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯制的瓶型容器(以下称作[PET瓶])。PET瓶1由口部2、胴部3及底部4依次连接,且底部4可自立于未图示的支持面上。胴部3具有连接与口部2之间的肩部3a,且沿其外表面在圆周方向延伸的4条环形沟10,配置于对瓶1或胴部3的中心轴线A在本例中呈直角交差的面内。胴部3具有整体略呈圆柱形的胴壁。
在本实施形态中,环形沟10如图2所示,具有从其沟底壁11向口部2而与胴部3(肩部3a)的外表面进行连接的沟侧壁12a、从沟底壁11向底部4与胴部3的外表面进行连接的沟侧壁12b。沟底壁11限定为在与中心轴线A直交的瓶10的横断面内大致呈圆形的轮廓形状。沟侧壁12a、12b如图2(a)所示,对在含有瓶10的中心轴线A的纵断面内与瓶轴线A直交的基准线L,分别以大于等于0°且小于等于20°的范围内所包含的设定角度α及β而呈直线状延伸。
即,在图2(a)中位于上侧的环形沟10,其彼此对向的沟侧壁12a、12b对前述基准线L分别形成设定的角度α(0°<α≤20°)及β(0°<β≤20°),相反,在图2(a)位于下侧的环形沟10,其上侧的沟侧壁12a与基准线L平行(α=0°),下侧的沟侧壁12b对基准线L倾斜(β>0°)。而且,虽然省略图示,但也可使环形沟10的沟侧壁12a、12b都与基准线L平行延展。
换言之,环形沟10可使其沟侧壁12a、12b对基准线L形成的角度α、β,满足
0°≤α≤20°…(1)
0°≤β≤20°…(2)
中的任一个条件。
如利用该构成,则尽管环形沟10具有可利用比较容易的制造管理而实现的简单形状,但当热填充后的内压下降时,可达成利用环形沟10的圆滑的瓶纵方向的收缩,而且,即使在收缩状态过度进行的情况下,也形成环形沟10的上下端连接的状态,所以不会产生该状态以后的压曲强度的降低,可抑制瓶胴部3的椭圆变形,且可确保必要的压曲强度并提高减压强度。
沿胴部3的外表面延展的环形沟10,除了上述(1)及(2)的条件以外,满足彼此对向的沟侧壁12a、12b对基准线L所形成的角度α及β之和小于等于30°,即
α+β≤30°…(3)
的条件为佳。如利用该构成,可使利用环形沟10的圆滑的瓶纵方向的收缩更加容易产生,并使胴部3的减压强度更加提高。
而且,环形沟10除了上式(1)及(2)的条件以外,或除了上述(1)、(2)及(3)的条件以外,如图2(b)所示,满足其沟宽W较沟深D小,即

的条件为佳。在满足上式(1)~(4)的所有条件的情况下,可使利用环形沟10的圆滑的瓶纵方向的收缩更加容易产生,并使胴部3的减压强度更加提高。
图3所示为关于本发明的PET瓶1的另一实施形态,在本例中是沿胴部3的外表面设置3条环形沟。图4所示为关于PET瓶1的又一另外的实施形态,在本例中是沿胴部3的外表面设置5条环形沟10。在图3及图4的实施形态中,环形沟10分别配置在对瓶轴线A直交的面内,且胴部3具有整体略呈圆形断面形状的胴壁。图5所示为图4所示的PET瓶1的变形例,在本例中,胴部3在位于环形沟10的相互间的区域上具有多角形断面形状的胴壁6。
下面,对为了确认关于减压强度及压曲强度的本发明的作用效果所进行的比较实验进行说明。在该实验中,作为供试样品,使用满足上式(1)~(4)的所有条件关于图1的实施形态的PET瓶1,和虽然具有以此为标准的构成,但环形沟不满足本发明的条件的习知结构的PET瓶(参照例)。任一个样品都使瓶重量为23g,胴部(肩部)的平均壁厚为0.53mm。
图6为作为参照例的PET瓶20的正面图,对与图1所示的相同的部分以相同的参照数字进行表示,并省略其说明。该PET瓶20沿胴部3的外表面设置有4条环形沟14,且各环形沟14为在瓶的纵断面内使内壁向胴部3(肩部3a)弯曲并连接的半圆断面形状的环形沟。
当使用上述样品1、20比较减压强度时,关于本发明的PET瓶1的减压强度约为709.1×133Pa,与此相对,关于参照例的PET瓶20的减压强度约为952.0×133Pa。由该结果可知,本发明与习知结构相比,在减压强度方面较为优良。可确认关于本发明的PET瓶1,即使在填充了约接近70°~100°高温的内容物后的PET瓶1的内压降低时,也不会使瓶1产生显著的椭圆变形,可只藉由光利用环形沟10的瓶纵方向的收缩而吸收减压,因此即使在内容物的填充状态下,PET瓶1也不会产生压曲而稳定地自立,完全可在填充线和自动售货机等中使用。与此相对,参照例的PET瓶20则无法达成这种优良的效果。
另外,当使用上述样品1、20比较压曲强度时,关于本发明的PET瓶1的压曲强度约为51.2kg,与此相对,参照例的PET瓶20的压曲强度约为55.5kg。本发明与习知结构相比,在压曲强度方面稍差,但只要为本发明所达成的压曲强度值,则即使在内容物的填充状态下,PET瓶1也不会压曲而稳定地自立,完全可实现在填充线和自动售货机等的实际应用。
由上述说明可知,本发明提供一种不需要严格的制造管理,尽管胴部的外表面上的环形沟具有更加简单的形状,但可有效的抑制伴随容器的内压下降而造成的瓶胴部的椭圆变形,且可充分地体现所需的减压强度和压曲强度的树脂瓶。
另外,本发明并不限定于上述的实施形态,当然可以多种变形形态进行实施。例如,沿胴部3的外表面所设置的环形沟,没有必要使其全部都满足本发明的条件,可混合有图6所示那样的习知结构的环形沟20。
另外,环形沟10因为可由对基准线的角度α及β进行定义,其中基准线对瓶1的中心轴线A直交,所以并不限定于图示的实施形态那样在对瓶的中心轴线A直交的面内所配置的环形沟,也可为在对瓶轴线A以除了直角以外的角度进行交差的面内所配置的交叉形的环形沟,和沿中心轴线上下波动的波形的环形沟。而且,构成树脂瓶的合成树脂也并不限定于聚乙烯对苯二酸酯,可使用各种各样的树脂。

Claims (4)

1、一种合成树脂制瓶型容器,为一种具有沿胴部的外表面延展的环形沟,且该环形沟利用沟底壁、由该沟底壁与胴部的外表面连接的沟侧壁而被限定的合成树脂制瓶型容器,其特征在于:
前述环状沟的至少一个沟侧壁在包含胴部的中心轴线的纵断面内大致呈直线状延伸,且在前述纵断面内对与前述中心轴线直交的基准线,形成小于等于20°的角度。
2、根据权利要求1所述的合成树脂制瓶型容器,其特征在于前述的环形沟使彼此对向的沟侧壁在前述纵断面内大致呈直线形延展,且该沟侧壁对前述基准线所形成的角度之和小于等于30°。
3、根据权利要求1所述的合成树脂制瓶型容器,其特征在于前述的环形沟的沟宽较其沟深小。
4、根据权利要求1所述的合成树脂制瓶型容器,其特征在于前述的环形沟使彼此对向的沟侧壁在前述纵断面内大致呈直线形延展,且该沟侧壁对前述基准线所形成的角度之和小于等于30°;另外,其沟宽较沟深小。
