技术领域
本发明要求享有于2004年7月29日提交的美国临时申请No.60/591995的优先权,该申请通过引用整体地结合于本文中。
本发明涉及一种可电气式调节的变速箱,其具有两个单排行星齿轮组、两个电动机/发电机以及处于齿轮组与两个离合器之间的分动齿轮,并且提供了输入分用(split)和复合分用的范围。
背景技术
内燃机尤其是那些往复式活塞型内燃机通常用于驱动大多数的车辆。内燃机相对高效、紧凑且重量轻,而且将矿物燃料转化为有用机械动力的机构成本较低,因此其非常适合用于车辆推进装置。与内燃机一起使用时能够减少排放与燃料消耗的新型变速箱系统可带给公众极大的好处。
往复式活塞型内燃机的操作适应性提出了挑战。通常来说,车辆由这样的发动机来驱动,其被小型电动机与相对较小的蓄电池从冷态下起动,然后快速进入到可实现推进并操作辅助设备的负载状态中。这种发动机还可在较宽速度范围和较宽负载范围内工作,并通常在其最大功率的五分之一下工作。这些发动机的较宽工作范围需要在极端工作条件下维持清洁且高效的燃烧,而这是一个较难达到的目标。
车辆变速箱能够将机械动力从发动机传递给传动系统的其余部件,通常是固定传动装置、车轴与车轮。变速箱允许发动机工作中的某些自由度,这通常是通过对五个或六个不同传动比的交替选择、在车辆静止时允许发动机对辅助装置进行操作的空档选择,以及在发动机运转时允许传动比之间的平稳转换以从静止状态起动车辆并加速到所需高速的离合器或变矩器来实现的。变速箱齿轮的选择通常允许动力以扭矩增大但速度减小的传动比、被称为超速运转的扭矩减小但速度增大的传动比或者是倒档传动比而从发动机传递给传动系统的其余部件。
发电机可将来自发动机的机械动力转换为电力,而电动机可将电力以不同扭矩和速度转换回用于车辆传动系统的其余部件的机械动力。这种装置允许在发动机和传动系统的其余部件之间在电机的极限范围内进行扭矩和速度比的无级式调节。可在这种装置内增设用作推进能源的蓄电池,以形成串联混合型的电力驱动系统。
串联混合型系统允许发动机以与扭矩、速度和动力相对独立的方式工作以推动车辆,从而可被控制以用于改善排放与效率。这种系统还允许将连接到发动机上的电机作为起动发动机的电动机来工作,并允许将连接到传动系的其余部件上的电机作为发电机来工作,其可通过再生制动而将能量回收到电池内。串联式电力驱动的缺点在于将所有发动机动力从机到电和从电到机的转换所需的电机的重量,以及这种双向转换中的有用功的损耗。
动力分用变速箱可以使用所公知的“差动齿轮装置”,以便在输入和输出之间获得无级式调节的扭矩和速度比,而无需通过可调元件来发送所有动力。可电气式调节的变速箱可以使用差动齿轮装置并通过一对电动机/发电机来发送其输送动力的一部分,而其余的动力通过另一个平行的通路来传送,该通路是固定比率的或可选比率的全机械式和直接式的。一种为本领域技术人员所熟知的形式的差速齿轮装置可包括行星齿轮组。事实上,在行星齿轮组的所有零件中,行星齿轮机构以其紧凑且不同的扭矩与速度比的优势而通常应用在差速器发明中的优选实施例中。然而,也可以不使用行星齿轮来构造本发明,这要通过使用差动锥齿轮或其它差速齿轮来实现。
例如,用于典型汽车车轴内的一组差动锥齿轮由在托架上的三个或四个小锥齿轮以及用于各个车轴的啮合性锥齿轮构成。为了替换该发明第一实施例中的第一组行星齿轮机构,第一组差动锥齿轮的托架将连接到输入端上,通常会连接于车轴上的一个锥齿轮将取而代之地连接到第一电动机上,而其它的这种锥齿轮将连接到中心轴上。差动锥齿轮可以类似地代替第二组行星齿轮机构,因此该发明可以不用任何行星齿轮来实施。
用于车辆的可电气式调节的混合型变速箱系统还包括蓄电池,其可允许机械输出动力不同于机械输入动力,允许用变速箱系统来起动发动机,以及实现车辆再生制动。
车辆内的可电气式调节的变速箱可以仅传递机械动力。为此,由一个电动机/发电机产生的电力可平衡电损耗和由另一个电动机/发电机所消耗的电力。车辆内的可电气式调节的混合型变速箱系统包括蓄电池,这样,由一个电动机/发电机产生的电力可以大于或小于另一个电动机/发电机所消耗的电力。来自电池的电力有时可以允许电动机/发电机二者都用作尤其是用来辅助发动机对车辆加速的电动机。两个电动机有时可以用作尤其是在车辆再生制动中给电池充电的发电机。
串联混合型变速箱的一个最成功的替代品是可调节的、双模式的、输入分用的、并联混合型电动变速箱。这种变速箱采用输入机构来接收来自车辆发动机的动力,并采用动力输出机构来传递动力以驱动车辆。第一和第二电动机/发电机连接到能量贮存装置如电池上,以便使该能量贮存装置可接收来自第一和第二电动机/发电机的动力,以及向其提供动力。控制单元可调节能量贮存装置和电动机/发电机中的动力流,以及第一和第二电动机/发电机之间的动力流。
通过使用具有扭矩传递装置性质的离合器,就可以选择性地实现第一或第二模式的工作。在一种模式中,变速箱的输出速度与一个电动机/发电机的速度成比例,而在第二模式中,变速箱的输出速度与另一个电动机/发电机的速度大致上成比例。
在可调的双模式输入分用的并联混合型电动变速箱的一些实施例中使用了第二行星齿轮组。另外,一些实施例可使用三个扭矩传递装置,两个用来选择变速箱所需的工作模式,第三个可选择性地使变速箱与发动机脱开。在其它一些实施例中,可利用所有三个扭矩传递装置来选择变速箱的所需工作模式。
如本领域内的技术人员所理解的那样,采用了动力分用装置的变速箱系统可以接收来自两个供应源的动力。采用一个或多个行星齿轮组可允许两个或多个齿轮系或模式,通过它们将来自变速箱输入件的动力传递到其输出件上。
相应地,在本领域内需要一种大马力的变速箱系统,其可用由贮电装置提供的少量附加动力来提供最大动力。还希望能提高高输出速度下的总效率。这些目标可以通过双模式的复合分用的机电变速箱来实现,该变速箱可提供用于连续、恒速操作以及高平均动力应用的所需高效率。
与本申请共同转让的于2003年3月4日授权给Holmes等人的美国专利No.6527658公开了一种可电气式调节的变速箱,其利用两个行星齿轮组、两个电动机/发电机和两个离合器来提供输入分用、复合分用、空档和倒档工作模式。两个行星齿轮组可以是单排的,或者其中一个是复合式的。电控制件可调节能量贮存装置和两个电动机/发电机中的动力流。这种变速箱提供了可电气式调节的变速箱(EVT)工作的两个范围或模式,其提供了输入动力分用或复合动力分用的工作模式,并且可以得到一个固定的传动比。“固定传动比”是一种工作条件,其中没有动力通过电动机/发电机以减小损耗。
于2004年7月22日提交、代理人档案号为No.GP-305519的Holmes等人的名称为“具有可选固定传动比操作的可电气式调节的变速箱”且与本申请共同拥有的美国临时申请No.60/590427公开了一种可电气式调节的变速箱,其具有两个行星齿轮组、两个电动机/发电机,以及三个、四个或五个扭矩传递装置,以提供输入分用、复合分用、输出分用、空档以及倒档的工作模式,该申请通过引用整体地结合于本文中。
发明内容
本发明提供了符号图构造,其对应于在上面引用的美国专利No.6527658和于2004年7月22日提交的Holmes等人的名称为“具有可选固定传动比操作的可电气式调节的变速箱”的美国临时申请No.60/590427内所介绍的动力流。
该符号图不只是动力流,而且提供了用于行星齿轮组、离合器、电动机、轴、轴承等的装配与定位信息。符号图是实际截面的前身,其标示了各个部件将被安装的位置,以及以何种方式对部件进行支撑和连接。该符号图还显示了各种离合器如何在行星齿轮组之间或相邻于行星齿轮组被定位和支撑在轮毂或活塞壳体内。
更具体地说,本发明提供一种可电气式调节的变速箱,其包括:围绕着第一轴的可接收发动机动力的输入件;连接到分动件上以用于将动力传递给第二轴的输出件;第一和第二电动机/发电机;以及均具有第一零件、第二零件与第三零件的第一和第二单排行星齿轮组。输入件与第一齿轮组的第一零件连续式相连,且输出件与第二齿轮组的第一零件连续式相连。第一电动机/发电机与第一齿轮组的第二零件连续式相连。第二电动机/发电机与第一或第二齿轮组的第三零件连续式相连。第一扭矩传递装置使第二齿轮组的第二零件选择性接地。第二扭矩传递装置将第二齿轮组的第二零件与第一电动机/发电机选择性相连。第一齿轮组的第三零件与第二齿轮组的第三零件选择性地或连续式相连。第一和第二扭矩传递装置设于分动件的一侧,第一和第二齿轮组设于分动件的另一侧。
第一齿轮组的第一零件、第二零件和第三零件分别体现为托架、恒星齿轮和齿圈,第二齿轮组的第一零件、第二零件和第三零件分别体现为托架、齿圈和恒星齿轮。
可选用的第三扭矩传递装置选择性地使第一齿轮组的第三零件接地,其中该第三扭矩传递装置设于第一和第二齿轮组之间。
另外,径向延伸的支撑件在第一和第二行星齿轮组之间居中地支撑了第二电动机/发电机。
分动件可体现为分动齿轮或驱动链轮与传动链。在一个实施例中,第一扭矩传递装置位于驱动链轮的径向之内。

具体实施方式
参考图1,改进型的可电气式调节变速箱的一个优选实施例以标号10来大致地标示。变速箱10设计成可以接收来自发动机12的其驱动动力中的至少一部分。如图所示,发动机12具有输出轴14,其也可用作瞬态扭矩缓冲器16的前置输入件。瞬态扭矩缓冲器为本领域的技术人员所熟知,但是不管具体采用何种瞬态扭矩缓冲器16,其输出件都将用作变速箱10的输入件18。
在所述实施例中,发动机12可以是矿物燃料发动机,例如可容易地适于提供在恒定的每分钟转数(RPM)下传递的可用动力输出的柴油发动机。
不管将发动机12连接到变速箱输入件18上的方式如何,变速箱输入件18可操作地连接到变速箱10内的行星齿轮组20上。变速箱10使用了两个齿轮组,优选是单排行星齿轮组。第一行星齿轮组20采用了外接于内恒星齿轮24上的外齿圈22。托架26可旋转地支撑了多个行星齿轮,使得各行星齿轮可同时地和啮合式地与外齿圈22和内恒星齿轮24二者接合。输入件18紧固在第一行星齿轮组20的托架26上。
第二行星齿轮组32也具有外接于内恒星齿轮36上的外齿圈34。多个行星齿轮可旋转地支撑在托架40上,使得各行星齿轮可同时与外齿圈34和内恒星齿轮36二者接合。
尽管两个行星齿轮组20和32都是单排行星齿轮组,但第一行星齿轮组20和第二行星齿轮组32可以是复合型的,其中行星齿轮组32的恒星齿轮36和行星齿轮组20的齿圈22连续式相连。
这个实施例10还分别结合有第一电动机/发电机46和第二电动机/发电机48。第一电动机/发电机46的定子50紧固在变速箱外壳54上。第一电动机/发电机46的转子56通过转子支撑件56A紧固于第一行星齿轮组20的恒星齿轮24上。第二电动机/发电机48的定子66也紧固于变速箱外壳54上。第二电动机/发电机48的转子68通过径向延伸的转子支撑件91居中地支撑并紧固于恒星齿轮36上。
第二行星齿轮组32的齿圈34通过具有扭矩传递装置62(CL1)性质的第一离合器机构而选择性地接地到外壳54上。也就是说,通过与不可旋转的外壳54的可操作性连接,该接地的齿圈34便可选择性地克服旋转而紧固住。第二行星齿轮组32的齿圈34还可通过具有扭矩传递装置64(CL2)性质的第二离合器机构而选择性地连接到第一电动机/发电机46的转子56上。第一扭矩传递装置62和第二扭矩传递装置和64都可用来帮助选择混合型变速箱10的工作模式。
两个行星齿轮组20和32都围绕第一轴41同轴地定位。
变速箱10的输出驱动件70紧固于第二行星齿轮组32的托架40上。如图1所示,输出驱动件70连接到可将动力传递给第二齿轮76的分动齿轮74上。动力然后围绕着第二轴78从齿轮80传递给差速器82,最后传递给左车轮84和右车轮86。
如图所示,在这种构造中,分动齿轮74设于行星齿轮组32之间以及扭矩传递装置62和64之间。分动齿轮74还设于行星齿轮组32和电动机支撑件56A之间。分动齿轮74支撑在轴承90上,而轴承90相对于变速箱外壳54刚性地支撑在轮毂92上。电动机/发电机46和48分别支撑在轴承94和96上。
在上面引用的美国专利No.6527658中介绍了变速箱10的操作。
如本申请中的图1所示,只有支撑件91和轴承装配在两个单排行星齿轮组20和32之间,而分动齿轮74、轴承90,94、离合器62,64以及电动机/发电机支撑件56A都装配在行星齿轮组32的旁边(即不在行星齿轮组20和32之间)。
在所附权利要求中,“第一”行星齿轮组(输入齿轮组)为齿轮组20,而“第二”行星齿轮组(输出齿轮组)为齿轮组32。如图所示,输出齿轮组32设于输入齿轮组20和输入件18之间。“第一”电动机/发电机是电动机/发电机46,而“第二”电动机/发电机是电动机/发电机48。权利要求中的第一行星齿轮组20的第一、第二及第三零件分别为托架26、恒星齿轮24和齿圈22。第二行星齿轮组32的第一、第二及第三零件分别为托架40、齿圈34和恒星齿轮36。
来看图2,图中显示了与图1所示基本相同的变速箱110。图2中所用的类似标号代表与图1中类似的部件。图2所示的变速箱110与图1所示的变速箱10相同,不同之处在于增设了扭矩传递装置165。扭矩传递装置165(CL3)可使第二行星齿轮组32的恒星齿轮36与变速箱外壳54选择性地相连。扭矩传递装置165(CL3)是摩擦离合器,其作为超速运转制动器来工作,以提供用于变速箱110的第三固定传动比。其余部件都与那些在上文中针对图1所介绍的部件相同。这些介绍在这里将不再重复。
来看图3,图3所示的变速箱210与图2所示的变速箱110相同,不同之处在于,图2所示的分动齿轮74和齿轮76由图3中的驱动链轮274、传动链275和从动链轮276所代替。图3还显示了最终传动行星齿轮组282,其具有连接到从动链轮276上的恒星齿轮273、接地齿圈277以及托架279,该托架279连接到复合式行星差速器283的齿圈281上,该差速器283包括连接到右车轮286上的托架285和连接到左车轮284上的恒星齿轮287。
如图3所示,离合器62至少部分地位于所述驱动链轮274的径向内侧。通过使用传动链275而非分动齿轮,变速箱可由三轴结构转化为两轴结构;应注意的是,图1和图2中的变速箱10和110具有轴41和78以及车轮轴84和86,而图3中的变速箱210具有第一轴41以及第二车轮轴284和286,其可降低质量和装配要求。

Claims (20)

1.一种可电气式调节的变速箱,包括:
围绕着第一轴的可接收来自发动机的动力的输入件;
连接到用于将动力传递给第二轴的分动件上的输出件;
第一和第二电动机/发电机;
均具有第一、第二与第三零件的第一和第二单排行星齿轮组;
所述输入件所述第一齿轮组的所述第一零件连续式相连,所述输出件与所述第二齿轮组的所述第一零件连续式相连;
所述第一电动机/发电机与所述第一齿轮组的所述第二零件连续式相连;
所述第二电动机/发电机与所述第一或第二齿轮组的所述第三零件连续式相连;
第一扭矩传递装置,其将所述第二齿轮组的所述第二零件选择性地接地;
第二扭矩传递装置,其将所述第二齿轮组的所述第二零件与所述第一电动机/发电机选择性相连;
其中,所述第一齿轮组的所述第三零件与所述第二齿轮组的所述第三零件选择性地或连续式相连;和
所述第一和第二扭矩传递装置设于所述分动件的一侧,而所述第一和第二齿轮组设于所述分动件的另一侧。
2.根据权利要求1所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述变速箱还包括第三扭矩传递装置,其可使所述第一齿轮组的所述第三零件选择性地接地,所述第三扭矩传递装置设于所述第一和第二齿轮组之间。
3.根据权利要求1所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述第一齿轮组的所述第一、第二和第三零件分别包括托架、恒星齿轮和齿圈,而所述第二齿轮组的第一、第二和第三零件分别包括托架、齿圈和恒星齿轮。
4.根据权利要求2所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述第二电动机/发电机由位于所述第一和第二行星齿轮组之间的径向延伸的支撑件来居中地支撑。
5.根据权利要求1所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述分动件包括可旋转地支撑在轴承上的分动齿轮。

7.根据权利要求6所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述第一扭矩传递装置至少部分地设于所述驱动链轮的径向内侧。
8.根据权利要求1所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述变速箱还包括处于所述分动件的所述一侧处的用于所述第一电动机/发电机的转子支撑件和转子支撑轴承。
9.一种可电气式调节的变速箱,包括:
可接收来自发动机的动力的输入件;
连接到用于将动力传递给第二轴的分动件上的输出件;
第一和第二电动机/发电机;
均具有第一、第二与第三零件的第一和第二单排行星齿轮组;
所述输入件所述第一齿轮组的所述第一零件连续式相连,所述输出件与所述第二齿轮组的所述第一零件连续式相连;
所述第一电动机/发电机与所述第一齿轮组的所述第二零件连续式相连;
所述第二电动机/发电机与所述第二齿轮组的所述第三零件连续式相连;
第一扭矩传递装置,其将所述第二齿轮组的所述第二零件选择性地接地;
第二扭矩传递装置,其将所述第二齿轮组的所述第二零件与所述第一电动机/发电机选择性相连;和
第三扭矩传递装置,其将所述第一齿轮组的所述第三零件选择性地接地;
其中,所述第一和第二扭矩传递装置设于所述分动件的一侧,而所述第一和第二齿轮组设于所述分动件的另一侧。
10.根据权利要求9所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述第一齿轮组的所述第一、第二和第三零件分别包括托架、恒星齿轮和齿圈,而所述第二齿轮组的第一、第二和第三零件分别包括托架、齿圈和恒星齿轮。
11.根据权利要求9所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述第三扭矩传递装置设于所述第一和第二齿轮组之间。
12.根据权利要求9所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述第二电动机/发电机由位于所述第一和第二行星齿轮组之间的径向延伸的支撑件居中地支撑。
13.根据权利要求9所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述分动件包括可旋转地支撑在轴承上的分动齿轮。
14.根据权利要求9所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述分动件包括可旋转地支撑在轴承上并与传动链相接合的驱动链轮。
15.根据权利要求9所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述第一扭矩传递装置至少部分地位于所述驱动链轮的径向内侧。
16.根据权利要求9所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述变速箱还包括处于所述分动件的所述一侧处的用于所述第一电动机/发电机的转子支撑件和转子支撑轴承。
17.一种可电气式调节的变速箱,包括:
可接收来自发动机的动力的输入件;
连接到分动件上的输出件;
第一和第二电动机/发电机;
均具有恒星齿轮件和齿圈件的第一和第二单排行星齿轮组,它们均与可旋转地安装在托架上的多个齿轮件啮合式接合;
所述输入件可操作地连接到所述第一行星齿轮组的所述托架上;
所述输出件可操作地连接到所述第二行星齿轮组的所述托架上;
一个电动机/发电机可操作地连接到所述第一行星齿轮组中的所述恒星齿轮件上;
另一个电动机/发电机与所述第二齿轮组的所述恒星齿轮件以及所述第一齿轮组的所述齿圈件可操作地连续式相连;
第一扭矩传递装置,其将所述第二齿轮组的所述齿圈件选择性地接地;
第二扭矩传递装置,其将所述第二齿轮组的所述齿圈件选择性地连接到所述第一电动机/发电机上;和
其中,所述第一和第二扭矩传递装置设于所述分动件的一侧,而所述第一和第二齿轮组设于所述分动件的另一侧。
18.根据权利要求17所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述变速箱还包括第三扭矩传递装置,其将所述第二齿轮组的所述恒星齿轮件选择性地接地,所述第三扭矩传递装置设于所述第一和第二齿轮组之间。
19.根据权利要求17所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述变速箱还包括设于所述第一和第二齿轮组之间的用于所述第二电动机/发电机的转子支撑件和转子支撑轴承。
20.根据权利要求17所述的可电气式调节的变速箱,其特征在于,所述第二齿轮组设于所述输入件和所述第一齿轮组之间。
