Abstract

一种背光组件组合,包括一用以安装液晶显示面板的框架,一导光板及一个或多个发光组件。框架包括多个传导组件,埋设在框架主体内并且伸入接触垫以连接发光组件。传导组件外接于一电源供应器,用以提供电流给发光组件。

背光组件组合
技术领域
本发明涉及一种液晶显示器(LCD)的背光组件,特别是涉及一种背光组件的框架结构。
背景技术
在透射式(Transmissive)及半穿半反射式(transflective)LCD里,背光通常用于从液晶显示面板的背面(在观看者的另一侧)照射。图1A是公知技术LCD系统内各组合组件的分解图。图1B是沿图1A的1B-1B方向所取得的剖面图。LCD系统的结构通常包括一框架63,其中一液晶面板10,棱镜层22,24,一光散射层26,一导光板61及一反光板65堆栈放置。液晶面板10通常与一用以驱动操作的挠性印刷电路板12连接。
框架63通常为矩形,对应承载液晶面板10的大体轮廓。框架63一侧安装有一光源66及一反射器67。光源66通常为一发光二极管(LED)或冷阴极荧光灯(CCFL)。挠性印刷电路板68装设在光源66上,以驱动发光。此外,遮光板69用于避免挠性印刷电路板68及光源66在组装后,光从其间隙漏出。组件编号60代表包括框架63,导光板61,反光板65,光源66,反射器67,挠性电路板68及遮光板69的传统背光组件组合。
传统背光组合60的结构因为组合组件的数量过多而不符经济效益。因此,需要一种简单组装并且制造成本低的背光组件组合设计。
发明内容
本发明描述一种液晶显示器的背光组件组合。根据本发明的一具体实施例,背光组件组合包括一用以安装液晶显示面板的框架,一导光板及一个或多个发光组件。框架包括多个埋设在框架主体内并伸入接触垫以连接发光组件的导电组件。导电组件外接于一电源供应器,以提供电流给该些发光组件。
在一具体实施例里,发光组件是为一面对导光板而在液晶显示面板另一侧的发光组件。发光组件位于大约导光板侧边,反射部分设于侧边,以将光导向导光板中心区域。在另一具体实施例里,发光组件是一使光入射于导光板侧边的发光二极管。
在又一具体实施例里,接触垫弯曲成弹性垫片,使发光组件能通过弹性接触方式连接。

具体实施方式
本发明提供一种液晶显示系统的背光组件组合。图2A是根据本发明的一具体实施例的LCD系统里组合组件的分解图。图2B是沿着图2A的2B-2B方向所取得的剖面图。液晶显示系统100包括一经由一组装框架210安装于一背光系统200的液晶显示面板110。
液晶显示面板110可以是多层结构,包括夹层在二透明基板之间的液晶层。液晶显示面板包括多个像素电极,该些像素电极由切换装置驱动,以调整通过液晶的光。
在图2A里,一个或多个发光组件260安装于框架210,并连接突出接触垫212a。导光板220安装在框架210介于发光组件260与液晶面板110之间。反光板214装设在导光板220底下,将光导向液晶显示面板110。
如图2B所示,接触垫212a是埋设在框架210主体内的导电组件212的延伸部分。导电组件212伸入框架210外的终端212b,电连接于电源供应器(图中未示)。可以利用各种方法形成具接触垫的框架210。以注射模塑成型方法为例,塑料材料可以射入一模型,将其中导电组件放入模型中,而接触垫外露。接触垫212a可以由任何导电材料,例如导电性金属或金属合金等做成。
图2C是本实施例中背光组件组合的发光组件260。发光组件260可以是发光二极管。发光二极管260包括一向外发射光的上出光面264,及多个用以电连接的终端垫片266。在图2A~2B的具体实施例中,发光二极管可以安装于框架210,使终端垫片266连接于接触垫212a,出光表面264面对导光板220的底面220a。此外,发光组件相对于导光板的其它组合构造参考以后的描述。
例如焊接、压接的方法可以用以将发光组件260的终端垫片266连接于接触垫212a。图2D是表示本发明另一具体实施例,其中框架210具有一容置空间218,该些接触垫弯曲形成多个弹性垫片224。发光组件260通过简单的搭接方式安装及连接容置空间218内的弹性垫片224。
在图2A,图2B及图2D的具体实施例里,发光组件260是放置在底面220a上,邻近导光板220的侧边220b。为了避免导光板220的边缘漏光,侧边220b可以包括一用以将反射来自发光组件260的光226的边缘反射部222。
可以利用许多方法达到反射部222。图2E是表示反射部222通过一反射涂层222a覆盖导光板220的侧边表面而得。图2F是表示反射部222可以通过形成一倾斜某角度以反射来自发光组件260的光的斜面结构222b。
在图2G的各种实施例里,导光板220的底面220a更设有多个凹陷部228。凹陷部228是容置发光组件260的出光表面,使反射部222的光路径缩短。
图3A是表示本发明另一背光组件组合。在该实施例里,背光框架310用以容置一个或多个面对导光板320的侧边320a的发光组件360。发光组件360连接至埋置的接触垫312a。从发光组件360发出的光入射于侧边320a的表面并且通过导光板320的上表面320b射向液晶面板110。
图3B是表示本具体实施例里的发光组件360。发光组件360可以是发光二极管,其具有一侧发光表面364及多个终端垫片366供电连接的用。发光二极管360安装于框架310,其中框架310具有多个连接于接触垫312a的终端垫片366,及面对导光板320的侧边表面320a的侧发光表面364。
在此所述的背光组合具有简单结构,尤其,不需要相当昂贵的挠性印刷电路板。发光组件同时安装于背光组合,达到发光组件的电连接,如此简化了组装工序并且降低制造成本。
虽然本发明已参照较佳实施例来加以描述,但应指出的是,本发明并不限于其详细描述内容。替换方式及修改样式已在先前描述中所建议,并且其它替换方式及修改样式将为本技术领域的普通技术人员所熟知。特别是,根据本发明的装置结构,所有具有实质上相同于本发明的组件结合而达成与本发明实质上相同结果者皆不脱离本发明的精神范畴。因此,所有此等替换方式及修改样式是应落在本发明权利要求书的范围及其均等物所界定的范畴的中。

Claims (19)

1.一种背光组件组合,该背光组件组合应用于液晶显示面板,包括:
一框架,该框架具有一框架主体,其中多个接触垫埋设在该框架主体中;
一导光板,该导光板安装于该框架;及
一个或多个发光组件,所述多个发光组件电连接于该些接触垫并分别具有面对该导光板第一表面的出光表面,从该一个或多个发光组件发出的光通过该导光板的第二表面,朝向一液晶显示面板。
2.如权利要求1的背光组件组合,其特征在于:还包括一位于导光板一侧的反光板,该反光板用以将光传到该液晶显示面板。
3.如权利要求1的背光组件组合,其特征在于:所述一个或多个发光组件位于该导光板侧边,在该液晶显示面板的另一侧。
4.如权利要求3的背光组件组合,其特征在于:所述一个或多个发光组件位于该导光板侧边附近。
5.如权利要求4的背光组件组合,其特征在于:还包括一反射组件,该反射组件设在该导光板邻近于发光组件的侧边上。
6.如权利要求5的背光组件组合,其特征在于:该反射组件是一反射涂层。
7.如权利要求4的背光组件组合,其特征在于:该导光板邻近于发光组件的侧边是为倾斜一角度的斜面结构。
8.如权利要求3的背光组件组合,其特征在于:该导光板包括一个或多个位于该第一表面上的凹陷部,用以容置该一个或多个发光组件的该出光表面。
9.如权利要求1的背光组件组合,其特征在于:该导光板的第一表面是该导光板的侧边表面。
10.如权利要求1的背光组件组合,其特征在于:该框架主体是通过注射模塑成型做成。
11.如权利要求1的背光组件组合,其特征在于:该接触垫包括弹性弯曲部分,使该一个或多个发光组件通过搭接方式电连接。
12.如权利要求1的背光组件组合,其特征在于:该一个或多个发光组件通过焊接方式连接于该接触垫。
13.如权利要求1的背光组件组合,其特征在于:该接触垫由导电金属或金属合金做成。
14.如权利要求1的背光组件组合,其特征在于:所述一个或多个发光组件包括一发光二极管。
15.一种背光组件组合的框架结构,包括:
一框架主体;及
多个埋设在该框架主体内的接触垫,其特征在于:该接触垫外接于一电源供应器,用以接收一个或多个发光组件。
16.如权利要求15的框架结构,其特征在于:该框架主体通过注射模塑成型做成。
17.如权利要求15的框架结构,其特征在于:该接触垫包括一弹性弯曲部分,使该一个或多个发光组件通过搭接方式连接。
18.如权利要求15的框架结构,其特征在于:该接触垫由导电金属或金属合金做成。
19.如权利要求15的框架结构,其特征在于:该一个或多个发光组件包括发光二极管。
