移动终端和运动图像记录/再现系统
技术领域
本发明涉及一种移动终端和运动图像记录/再现系统,更具体地说,涉及一种其中由移动终端将运动图像数据存储在服务器中,并通过访问该服务器,在该终端的显示部分上再现已存储的运动图像的系统。
背景技术
近年来,具有摄像机的移动电话已经迅速地得到普及。市场上已经出现了装备了具有超过一百万像素的有效传感器分辨率的显示器的移动电话。由摄像机拍摄的静态和运动图像通常存储在移动电话内的存储设备中。然而,需要大容量的存储设备,特别用于存储长时间的运动图像或高质量的静态图像。然而,在移动电话中装配大容量的存储设备是非常困难的,这是由于大容量的存储设备在尺寸上较大。因此,目前,不能够将采用了一定时间长度或更长时间的运动图像信息存储在移动电话中。
此外,近年来,也已经发布了装备有电视调谐器的移动电话。然而,尽管该型号移动电话的用户可以观看电视节目,但出于上述原因,用户不能够记录电视节目。
另一方面,日本未审专利公开NO.2002-77839公开了一种技术,通过该技术,移动电话可以通过网络来控制记录服务器以允许服务器记录和存储数字广播节目。该类型移动电话的用户可以通过访问记录服务器,可以在所需的时间处观看已记录的节目。然而,在这种情况下,该记录服务器需要大量的电视调谐器。如果要在服务器中安装的电视调谐器的数量较少,则可能会出现用户不能记录或不能为所需的节目进行记录预留。
发明内容
根据本发明,提出了一种与服务器交换数据的移动终端。该移动终端包括:显示部分;转换装置,用于将运动图像数据转换为数字信号;信号处理装置,用于压缩和解压数字信号;以及发送/接收部分,用于发送和接收已压缩的数字信号。
此外,根据本发明,提出了一种利用移动终端的运动图像记录/再现系统。该系统包括:移动终端,用于发送和接收运动图像数据;以及服务器,用于存储从移动终端接收的运动图像数据,并且响应移动终端的请求,向移动终端发送该运动图像数据。
上述本发明使不能够包括大容量的存储设备的移动终端能够记录电视节目或由摄像机拍摄的运动图像,以及在所需时间处,再现该节目或运动图像。

具体实施方式
在下文中,将描述本发明的优选实施例。图1示出了移动终端和运动图像记录/再现系统的实施例。根据该实施例的系统包括:基站100、网关101、服务器102、以及移动电话200。通常,在基站100和服务器102之间存在网络。当移动电话200记录电视节目时,移动电话200通过连接器300,从电视接收机400中接收作为运动图像数据的模拟电视信号。移动电话200将模拟电视信号转换为数字信号,并将该数字信号通过基站100和网关101发送到服务器102。服务器102存储该数字化的电视信号(例如,电视节目)。此外,移动电话200向服务102发送控制信号,允许发送已存储的电视节目并在移动电话200的显示部分203上显示。
根据该实施例的移动电话200包括:无线部分201、CPU(中央处理器)202、显示部分203、内存储器204、电视信号解码器205、定时器206、以及摄像机部分207。移动电话200根据NTSC(国家电视标准委员会)、PAL(逐行倒相制)等,通过连接器300,从电视接收机400中接收模拟电视信号。电视信号解码器205将该模拟电视信号转换为数字信号。CPU 202根据MPEG4(运动图像专家组版本4)的方案,对已转换的数字信号进行压缩(或解压)。将压缩的电视信号(例如,电视节目)从无线部分201传送到基站100,然后,在经过网关101之后,存储在服务器102中。用户对移动终端200进行指定的输入,从而将再现请求信号发送到服务器102。当服务器102接收到再现请求信号时,服务器102响应用户的请求,将电视信号(例如,电视节目)发送到移动电话200。CPU 202将从服务器102发送的压缩模拟电视信号进行解压,并将与该信号相对应的运动图像显示在显示部分203上。CPU 202可以通过控制定时器206,在预定的时间处接收电视信号,以及将该信号发送到服务器102。CPU 202可以将静态图像和短时运动图像存储在内部存储器204中。
移动电话200具有摄像机部分207。摄像机部分207拍摄静态图像或运动图像。当摄像机部分207拍摄花费了较长时间的运动图像时,CPU202可以实时地将所拍摄的运动图像发送到服务器102,并将图像存储在服务器102中。在这种情况下,信号处理按照与上述操作相同的方式进行。用户可以在所需时间处,通过允许运动图像在移动电话200的显示部分203上得以显示来观看所拍摄的运动图像。此外,用户可以通过从计算机访问服务器102,将运动图像下载到该家用计算机。当用户访问所存储的运动图像或静态图像时,服务器102可能需要输入一个预定的ID(标识)号。也能够将服务器102设置为允许任何人访问所存储的电视节目。在这种情况下,服务器102可以使所存储的电视节目菜单成为公用的。
参考图2,示出了由移动电话200所进行的电视节目记录操作的实例。根据用户的操纵,CPU200打开电视信号解码器205(S1)。电视信号解码器205通过连接器300接收来自电视接收机400的模拟电视信号(即,电视节目)(S2),并将模拟电视信号转换为数字运动图像数据(S3)。CPU 202根据MPEG4的方案,对运动图像数据进行压缩(S4),并将已压缩的数据发送到无线部分201。无线部分201将运动图像数据和存储请求信号发送到基站100(S5)。基站100将运动图像数据和存储请求信号发送到服务器102(S6)。服务器102存储所接收的数字运动图像数据(S7)。将所接收的电视节目顺序地发送到服务器102,并存储在其中。继续一系列的这些操作,直到完成了记录操作。当CPU 202检测到记录结束信号时,CPU 202关闭电视信号解码器205(S8),并通过无线部分201,将记录结束信号发送到基站100(S9、S10)。基站100将记录结束信号发送到服务器102(S11)。然后,服务器102停止存储运动图像数据(S12)。
由移动电话200的摄像机部分207拍摄的运动图像数据被直接输入到CPU 202。CPU 202根据MPEG4的方案,对运动图像数据进行压缩,并将已压缩的数据发送到无线部分201。
参考图3,示出了由移动电话200所进行的电视节目再现操作的实例。根据用户的操纵,CPU 202通过无线部分201,将运动图像再现请求信号发送到基站100(S20、S21)。基站100将运动图像再现请求信号发送到服务器102(S22)。服务器102通过基站100,将所存储的运动图像数据(即,由摄像机部分207拍摄的电视节目或运动图像)发送到移动电话200(S23、S24)。CPU 202从无线部分201中获得运动图像数据(S25),并根据MPEG4的方案,对该数据进行解压,从而形成用于再现的运动图像数据(S26)。显示部分203从CPU 202中接收已解压的运动图像数据,并显示该运动图像数据(S27、S28)。从服务器102顺序地发送运动图像数据,并显示和再现。继续上述的操作,直到执行了关闭操作或者直到已发送了所有运动图像为止。当用户执行关闭操作时,CPU 202将显示停止信号发送到显示部分203(S29)。同时,CPU 202将结束信号发送到无线部分201(S30)。通过基站100,将结束信号发送到服务器102(S31、S32),当接收到停止信号时,服务器102停止发送运动图像数据(S33)。在服务器102存储由摄像机部分207拍摄的运动图像数据的情况下,用户可以通过与上述操作相似的操作,使运动图像数据在显示部分203上再现。
注意,用户可以通过从移动终端向服务器102发送指定信号,删除在服务器102中所存储的所需运动图像数据。此外,例如,当移动电话的用户从家用计算机向服务器102发送预定识别信息和指定请求信号时,服务器102可以通过网络将运动图像数据发送到该计算机。
根据上述的移动终端和运动图像记录/再现系统,移动终端的用户能够在所需时间处,容易地记录较大的运动图像数据以及再现该数据。

Claims (17)

1.一种与服务器交换数据的移动终端,包括:
显示部分;
转换装置,用于将运动图像数据转换为数字信号;
信号处理装置,用于压缩和解压数字信号;以及
发送/接收部分,用于发送和接收已压缩的数字信号。
2.根据权利要求1所述的移动终端,其特征在于:所述运动图像数据是电视信号。
3.根据权利要求2所述的移动终端,其特征在于:所述移动终端接收来自电视接收机的电视信号。
4.根据权利要求1所述的移动终端,其特征在于:还包括摄像机部分,其中,从摄像机部分输入运动图像数据。
5.根据权利要求1所述的移动终端,其特征在于:所述信号处理装置根据MPEG4的方案来压缩和解压所述数字信号。
6.根据权利要求1所述的移动终端,其特征在于:所述移动终端是移动电话。
7.根据权利要求1所述的移动终端,其特征在于:还包括控制装置,用于使记录在预设时间处开始。
8.根据权利要求1所述的移动终端,其特征在于:所述移动终端通过网络与服务器交换数据。
9.一种利用移动终端的运动图像记录/再现系统,包括:
移动终端,用于发送和接收运动图像数据;以及
服务器,用于存储从移动终端接收到的运动图像数据,并且响应移动终端的请求,向移动终端发送所述运动图像数据。
10.根据权利要求9所述的运动图像记录/再现系统,其特征在于:所述移动终端执行以下操作:
(a)将运动图像数据转换为数字信号,压缩该数字信号,并且将已压缩的信号发送到服务器;以及
(b)解压从服务器发送来的已压缩运动图像数据,并且在显示部分上显示所述运动图像数据。
11.根据权利要求9所述的运动图像记录/再现系统,其特征在于:所述运动图像数据是电视信号。
12.根据权利要求9所述的运动图像记录/再现系统,其特征在于:从设置在移动终端上的摄像机部分中输入所述运动图像数据。
13.根据权利要求10所述的运动图像记录/再现系统,其特征在于:所述移动终端根据MPEG4的方案来压缩和解压所述数字信号。
14.根据权利要求9所述的运动图像记录/再现系统,其特征在于:所述移动终端是移动电话。
15.根据权利要求9所述的运动图像记录/再现系统,其特征在于:可以由另一预定移动终端来访问在服务器中所存储的所述运动图像数据。
16.根据权利要求9所述的运动图像记录/再现系统,其特征在于:可以将在服务器中所存储的运动图像数据下载到计算机。
17.根据权利要求9所述的运动图像记录/再现系统,其特征在于:通过网络进行交换所述运动图像数据。
