分离模块
发明背景
本发明涉及一种用于对流体进行净化的分离模块(或分离组件)。在工业生产中,流体分离装置已被使用多年,以用于控制污染,这些分离装置具有容易更换和一次性使用的流体分离模块。这种分离装置是制造诸如药品、食品、饮料等产品时所需的一个整体部分。然而,没有什么会比在半导体制造工业中对有效污染控制的需求更为重要。由于电路元器件处于亚微型范围内,并且不可避免地需要使特征尺寸进一步减小,这样就必须对半导体处理流体中的颗粒、离子、有机物以及其它污染物进行控制。此外,由于半导体装置是在绝对无尘室中制造的,因此,对制造环境造成污染的潜在危险最小化非常重要。由于该原因,在半导体制造过程中优选采用一次性的流体分离装置,以便使对生产线和绝对无尘室可能造成的污染最小化。
在使用地点(POU)被处理的半导体处理流体的例子包括在照相平版印刷处理过程中所使用的化学物质(光化学物质)。光化学物质包括这样一些材料,例如底漆、粘接促进剂、光致抗蚀剂、边缝去除剂、抗反射涂层、显影剂、电介质等。通常利用专门的泵将这些化学物质分配到硅晶片上,然后利用被称作旋转涂敷的过程将这些化学物质散布成均匀的薄膜。为实现可接受的产品生产量,在使用地点中的这些化学物质的纯度是很重要的。
流体分离装置大致有两种类型。在第一种类型中,分离元件例如过滤器为可更换的元件,而用于容纳所述元件的压力容器即外壳则是可重复利用的。外壳还容纳有适当的流体连接件,该流体连接件与流体处理系统的其它部分相连。对于这种类型的分离装置,更换流体分离元件时需要打开外壳、拆下分离元件、并将一更换的分离元件安装到外壳内,然后关闭外壳。这种类型的流体分离装置具有许多缺点。首先,更换操作很费时,尤其是在对外壳的处理受到限制的情况下更是如此。其次,由于外壳容纳有大量被处理的流体,并且流体分离元件通常已经被所述流体所饱和,因此所述流体通常会溢出或泄漏。如果流体为有害流体,则溢出流体将会威胁该地区人员的健康,并有可能对附近的设备和设施造成潜在的危害。最后,打开外壳便会使流体处理系统的内表面暴露出来,从而会受到周围环境的污染。
在第二种类型的分离装置中,分离元件与外壳永久相连,从而形成一个整体组件,其中所述外壳还容纳有适当的流体连接件,这些流体连接件与流体处理系统的其它部分相连。在这种情况下,更换时需要使整个分离模块与流体处理系统脱离,并且将一更换的模块重新连接到该系统上。通过这种方式,更换将比较容易,而且降低了使操作人员暴露于有害化学物质下的危险性,从而显著提高了连接的可靠性。这种类型的分离装置被称作一次性模块或组件,这是因为无论采用了什么样的连接器设计,当需要更换分离元件时,整个模块将被拆卸下来并被扔掉。一次性模块通常需要顺序制造多个(最少两个,更典型的为三个或四个)连接件。螺纹紧固件通常很笨重并且有时还难以啮合;这些因素将导致以后会消耗附加的时间和精力。此外,必须在制造连接件的同时将该所述模块保持到位,这样就使得连接更困难,因为其需要同时执行两个动作(即,将模块保持到位以及依次连接每个连接器)。最后,在与流体处理系统的永久连接不是刚性的情况下,例如在使用柔性管的情况下,当断开连接时,液体便会被排出。所有这些问题都会增加对一次性模块进行更换所需的时间和精力,并会使工作人员暴露于有害材料下以及会使制造环境受到污染。
由于这些原因,有些一次性分离模块已被设置有这样一些特征,即允许以“快速连接”的方式将这些一次性分离模块迅速且容易地连接到流体处理系统上。这些类型的快速连接模块设置有一组连接器,且通过一个简单的动作或操作便可使该组连接器与另一组与之配合的连接器密封接合,该另一组连接器与一可重复利用的基底相连。已经设计出了不同类型的机构来实现该快速连接,所有这些机构都需要在阳连接器和与之配合的阴连接器之间发生某种形式的相对运动,最通常的是发生扭转运动。
曾经提出过在用于对已过滤流体组分进行分配的系统中设置一分离模块,其中,所述分离模块被引入到一可枢转外壳内,以便实现所期望的连接。该可枢转外壳很昂贵,并且会因过度使用而产生破损。
因此,希望提供一种不需要可枢转外壳就能在流体分离系统中被更换的分离模块。
发明概述
本发明的分离模块装配到一固定接受器内,所述接受器具有一搁板和一槽,所述搁板用作一枢转线,所述槽用于接收和保持分离模块的一卡接件。该分离模块包括一弯曲表面和一卡接件,所述弯曲表面配合到所述固定接受器的枢转线上,所述卡接件用于与所述固定接受器的槽配合,以便将分离模块保持在固定接受器内。该分离模块包括一过滤器和一些接头,所述过滤器安装在分离模块的外壳内,所述接头用于将被净化流体的流体源与正在该分离模块内净化的流体的使用地点连接起来。在一个实施例中,该分离模块被置于一便携式集管中,该便携式集管具有一些流体接头,这些流体接头使得该分离模块可以用于具有不同功能的流体输送系统中。

具体实施方式
本发明的分离模块用于对来自包括一泵的流体分配系统的流体进行净化。该流体分配系统可包括一台泵或多台泵,例如两泵系统包括一分配泵和一输送泵。当分配流体时,该系统包括本发明的分离模块,该分离模块具有一分离元件,所述分离元件用于将不需要的流体成分与所需要的流体成分分离。
下面将参照两泵流体分配系统来详细地描述本发明,该两泵流体分配系统包括一输送泵、一分配泵和一分离模块,该分离模块具有特定结构的入口装置和出口装置。然而,可以理解,本发明可以应用于任何具有一分离模块的流体分配系统中,而不论位于所述分离模块的外表面上的入口装置和出口装置的外表面结构如何。
参照图1,本发明的分离模块10包括用于一过滤器构件例如一带褶过滤器的外壳12、深度过滤器、空心纤维或类似物。端口14、16、18装配在接头或配合件15、17、19(见图4)上。外壳66(见图5)容纳有例如在美国专利US 5,263,069中公开的输送泵和分配泵,该美国专利在此被引用以作为参考。端口14可以是将被过滤的流体的一入口。端口16可以是滞留物的一出口。端口18可以是用于将已过滤流体引导到使用地点的一出口。分离模块10包括一枢转表面20和两个凸缘22(图中只示出了其中的一个),所述枢转表面20基本上在分离模块10的整个宽度上延伸,所述两个凸缘22位于分离模块10的两相对表面上并与壁24和26相连。
分离模块10设置有一卡接件31,该卡接件31具有一竖直臂32、一钩33和一杠杆35。卡接件31被固定到分离模块10上,例如将该卡接件与槽37的壁模制在一起。当一作用力例如手动力被施加到杠杆35上时,槽37允许卡接件31移动。
参照图2,固定接受器36包括一顶表面38,该顶表面38具有孔40、42、44,来自一集管的接头15、17、19(见图4)穿过这些孔。固定接受器36包括一凸缘46,该凸缘46具有一开口47,该开口47与卡接件31的竖直臂32和钩33配合。固定接受器36还包括搁板50、52以及接受器枢转表面54,分离模块10的凸缘22可滑动到所述搁板50、52上,枢转表面20可配合到所述接受器枢转表面54上。
参照图3a,3b,3c,3d,图3a示出了处于初始位置的卡接件31。如图3b所示,沿着箭头方向的一个作用力使得钩33离开凸缘46。如图3c所示,通过向上移动过滤组件10,使得卡接件31向上移动,从而使得钩33配合到凸缘46上。该卡接件位置可将过滤模块10固定到固定组件36上。如图3d所示,通过向杠杆35施加一个如箭头所示的作用力,使得钩33从凸缘46处移开。当卡接件31处于图3d所示位置时,便可使分离模块10从固定接受器36上拆卸下来。
如图2和图4所示,分离模块10被滑入到固定接受器36内,并且滑动到搁板50和52上,直到枢转线20位于枢转表面54上为止。当分离模块10被这样定位时,在分离模块10如箭头55所示向上转动时,端口14、16、18被定位成配合在所述接头15、17、19上。通过这种向上的移动,臂32就被锁定到凸缘46上,并且钩33穿过开口47。这样就将分离模块10锁定在固定接受器36内,从而在端口14、16、18和接头15、17、19之间可实现无泄漏的流体输送。
如图5所示,固定接受器36被连接在一泵外壳上,所述泵外壳以本领域中已知的方式容纳有一个泵或多个泵。端口14、16、18被密封到诸如上面所述的接头上。
如图6所示,分离模块10可设置有一卡接件28,该卡接件28具有两个臂30和31。臂31设置有唇部34,该唇部34与图2中的支架相配合,这将在下面描述。臂30和31具有足够的柔性,从而使得臂31可被臂30推动,而臂30反过来又可被手工推动,以便使臂31与支架36的凸缘46相接触或分离,从而允许将分离模块10从支架36上拆卸下来。
图7示出了本发明的分离模块的另一个实施例。该分离模块10a具有端口14a、16a、18a,并且该分离模块10a也按照图1所述方式设置有两块搁板22和一枢转线20。卡接件70包括一唇部72和一臂74。唇部72被构造成可配合到一固定接受器内,杠杆74允许施加手动作用力,以便将唇部72从固定接受器上移开,从而可进行安装以及可按照图3a-3d所述的方式将分离模块10a从固定接受器上拆卸下来。
参照图8,其中示出了本发明的另一个实施例,该实施例包括一分离模块76的便携式单元以及便携式固定接受器78。分离模块76和固定接受器78利用卡接件31以参照图3a-3d所述的方式被连接起来。固定接受器78设置有接头80、82、84,这些接头80、82、84能与一泵送装置(图中未示出)配合。固定接受器78与一安装件88相连,所述安装件88可通过一卡接件92安装到一壁90上。该实施例有利于固定接受器78的安装。固定接受器78可包括一阀81,该阀81具有一手动驱动装置杆83,以便打开或关闭所述阀81,从而允许或阻止流体通过这些接头进行输送。

Claims (7)

1.一种分离装置,它包括:
一外壳,该外壳具有至少一个入口和至少一个出口;
一分离元件,该分离元件密封在所述外壳内,并且与所述至少一个入口和所述至少一个出口流体连通;
所述外壳具有一枢转表面和一卡接件,所述卡接件被定位成将所述外壳支撑在一接受器装置的一锁定位置,从而使得所述至少一个入口和所述至少一个出口与至少一个互补入口和至少一个互补出口流体连通地被密封。
2.根据权利要求1所述的分离模块,其特征在于,所述卡接件包括一杠杆,在该杠杆上可以施加作用力,以便打开所述卡接件。
3.一种便携式单元,它包括如权利要求1所述的分离模块,并且通过一固定接受器进行定位,所述固定接受器的形状被构造成可接收所述两个凸缘和枢转表面,所述固定接受器包括一表面,以用于接收所述处于锁定位置的卡接件,
所述固定接受器具有至少两个接头,以允许流体通过该接头进行输送。
4.根据权利要求3所述的分离模块,其特征在于,所述卡接件包括一杠杆,该杠杆可被施加作用力,以便打开所述卡接件。
5.根据权利要求3所述的便携式单元,其特征在于,具有至少三个接头。
6.根据权利要求4所述的便携式单元,其特征在于,具有至少三个接头。
7.根据权利要求3、4、5、6之一所述的便携式单元,其特征在于,包括一阀,该阀允许或阻止流体通过所述至少一个接头进行输送。
