Abstract
一种稳定的低涩味含锌含水口腔护理组合物,该组合物含有锌盐、阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物和焦磷酸盐的混合物,从而使用者在使用该组合物时所感受的涩味较小。
Description
发明背景
1.发明领域
本发明涉及一种用于减少口臭的洁牙剂组合物,并且尤其涉及一种低涩味的用于治疗口臭的口气清新口腔护理产品,它含有锌和焦磷酸盐的组合。
口臭的产生是由于微生物在牙病的合适基质成分上具有腐烂活性,黏在黏膜和唾液细胞单元的死细胞产生了挥发性的硫化合物,该硫化合物主要是硫化氢、甲硫醇和微量的二甲硫。
将锌盐加入口腔牙齿护理产品来有利地减少口臭是本领域熟知的技术,例如专利US4138477和US5000944。但是,将锌盐用于口腔牙齿护理产品时,其主要的缺点是锌盐的涩味在口中产生了令人不愉快的涩味。
US4138477公开了一种涩味减小的含锌盐口腔用组合物,其中该组合物含有锌聚合物配合物,该配合物是由锌盐和含羧酸基、磺酸基和/或膦酸基的阴离子聚合物反应形成的。
US5000944公开了一种基本上没有涩味的含锌防牙垢口腔用产品,含有至少为50%水溶解度的锌/多磷酸盐配合物作为必需作用物,它是通过将锌盐溶解于多磷酸盐溶液比如焦磷酸盐、三多磷酸盐、六偏磷酸盐及其组合而使锌盐和多磷酸钾或钠盐反应形成的。
锌/多磷酸盐配合物的一个缺点是:尽管显著减少了涩味,但是含锌和多磷酸盐的洁牙剂具有不稳定的倾向,其中在存储过程中,形成了多晶块,该形成物被认为是由于锌/多磷酸盐配合物晶体的团聚产生的。这些块肉眼可见,并且具有相当的硬度,因此,这些锌/多磷酸盐晶体的自发形成是非常不希望的,并且不利于消费者接受该牙用产品。因此,本领域需要可同时改进含锌盐口腔护理产品的稳定性和涩味特性的手段,以使得消费者更乐于使用这样的产品。
发明概述
本发明提供了一种涩味有限的、治疗口臭的稳定含水口腔护理组合物,该组合物含有口腔可接受的载体,该载体所含的络合物由加入口腔护理组合物中的锌盐、阴离子聚羧酸盐聚合物和焦磷酸盐成分形成。
如下文所述,当消费者使用口腔护理产品时,产品中锌/阴离子聚羧酸盐聚合物/焦磷酸盐配合物的存在出乎意料地提供了口味改进的、显著减少了涩味的稳定产品。
优选实施方式的描述
在实践本发明时,用于形成口腔护理组合物的锌/阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物/焦磷酸盐配合物的锌离子来源通常完全或部分溶于水的锌盐,包括硝酸锌、硫酸锌、柠檬酸锌、氯化锌,优选为柠檬酸锌。加入本发明口腔护理组合物的锌盐其浓度通常为约1-约5重量%并且优选约1.5-约3重量%。
通常以游离酸、或优选部分或全部中和的水溶性碱金属(例如钾并且优选钠)或铵盐形式利用阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物来形成锌/阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物/焦磷酸盐配合物。优选为马来酸酐或马来酸与另一种可聚合的烯属不饱和单体的1∶4-4∶1共聚体,优选分子量(M.W.)约30000-约1800000、最优选约30000-约700000的甲基乙烯醚/马来酸酐。可自ISP公司得到这些共聚物的实例,例如商品名称为Gantrez的例如AN 139(M.W.500000)、AN 119(M.W.250000)、S-97Pharmaceutical Grade(M.W.700000)、AN 169(M.W.1200000-1800000)和AN 179(M.W.1800000以上),其中优选聚合物是S-97Pharmaceutical Grade(M.W.700000)。
以有效地在口腔用组合物内形成锌-聚合物-焦磷酸盐配合物的量使用阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物。因此,加入口腔护理组合物的阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物的量为约0.1重量%-约10重量%,优选为约0.2重量%-约3.0重量%。
用于制备锌/阴离子聚合物/焦磷酸盐配合物的焦磷酸盐包括二碱金属或四碱金属焦磷酸盐比如Na2P2O7、K2P2O7、Na2K2P2O7、Na2H2P2O7和K2H2P2O7。加入本发明口腔用组合物的焦磷酸盐浓度为约1-约5重量%并且优选约0.5-约3重量%。
为了制备本发明的洁牙剂组合物,将锌盐、阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物和焦磷酸盐成分加入含有载体的口腔护理产品中,该载体含有水、润湿剂、表面活性剂和磨光剂。
润湿剂通常是润湿剂比如乙二醇、山梨糖醇和分子量在200-1000范围内的聚乙二醇的混合物,但是也可利用其他润湿剂混合物和单一润湿剂。以重量计润湿剂的含量范围是约10%-约80%,优选约30%-约50%。水的含量以重量计其范围是约10%-约25%。
当钾盐作为洁牙剂组合物的成分时,该组合物也可包括无机增稠剂,这包括煅制二氧化硅比如由Cabot Corporation得到的Cabosil,以及包括由Crosfield Chemicals得到的名称为Sorbosil TC-15或由W.R.Grace得到的Sylox 15的增稠硅石。
可将天然或合成的胶质有机增稠剂加入本发明的口腔护理产品中。该增稠剂的例子有角叉菜胶(爱尔兰苔藓)、黄原胶、羧甲基纤维素钠、淀粉、聚乙烯吡咯烷酮、羟乙基丙基纤维素、羟丁基甲基纤维素、羟丙基甲基纤维素和羟乙基纤维素。本发明组合物中加入的有机增稠剂的浓度以重量计约0.25%-约2%,并且优选约0.5%-约1%。
可将表面活性剂加入本发明的口腔护理组合物中作为提供发泡性能的成分。表面活性剂优选是阴离子类,合适的例子包括高级烷基硫酸盐、比如优选的月桂基硫酸钾或钠,高级脂肪酸单酸甘油酯单硫酸盐、比如氢化的可可油脂肪酸的单硫酸化单酸甘油酯的盐,烷基芳基磺酸盐比如十二烷基苯磺酸钠,高脂肪磺基醋酸盐,1,2-二羟基丙烷磺酸盐的高级脂肪酸酯,和比如脂肪酸、烷基或酰基中具有12-16个碳原子的低级脂族氨基羧酸化合物的基本上饱和的高级脂族酰基酰胺等。最后所述的酰胺的例子有N-月桂酰肌氨酸和N-月桂酰、N-肉豆寇酰或N-棕榈酰肌氨酸的盐。本发明口腔护理组合物中存在的表面活性剂的浓度通常为约0.5-约5.0重量%。
可将磨料加入本发明口腔护理组合物中,优选磨料是含硅质材料、比如二氧化硅。优选的二氧化硅是沉淀的非晶态水合二氧化硅、比如Crosfield Chemicals出售的Sorbosil AC-35或Huber Company出售的Zeodent 115和Zeodent 165,但是也可使用其它磨料,包括偏磷酸钠、偏磷酸钾、磷酸三钙、二水合磷酸钙、无水硫酸二钙、焦磷酸钙、正磷酸镁、碳酸钙、碳酸氢钠、三水合氧化铝、硅酸铝、煅制氧化铝和膨润土。本发明口腔护理组合物中磨料的浓度以重量计通常在5%-约40%的范围内并且优选为10%-30%。
可加入本发明口腔护理组合物的其它组分包括颜料、甜料、香料剂和防腐剂。在白色牙膏配方中,选择的颜料是二氧化钛和金红石,其比例通常在0.5-1.25重量%、优选为0.75-1重量%的范围内。存在的甜料成分通常是人工或合成的甜料,通常其比例范围以重量计为0.1%-1%、并且优选为0.3%-0.5%。以重量计香料的含量通常在0.5%-2%、优选在0.5%-1.5%的重量范围内,优选的香料是混合的薄荷/薄荷醇香料。可利用适宜量的F.D.&C Grade染料来提供所需要的颜色。含钾盐洁牙剂的其它组分或辅料含量以重量计通常不超过10%,通常其重量小于5%并且可以低至0%。
为了制备本发明的口腔用组合物,将锌盐加入水、润湿剂和阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物的混合物中,并且在常规的混合器中进行分散直至混合物成为外观光滑的浆液。此时也可加入焦磷酸盐,优选是预先溶解的水溶液。此时也可加入其它水溶性成分比如氟化物盐和甜料比如糖精钠。可将该混合物加热至100-110°F并且混合10-30分钟以产生均匀的凝胶相。将该混合物转移至真空混合器。接着加入磨料并且在5-100毫米汞压下、优选5-50mm Hg的真空下高速混合10-30分钟,产生均匀的混合物。接着将表面活性剂和香料加入糊中,随后在5-50mmHg的真空下再混合10-20分钟。所得到的产品是质地类似普通牙膏或凝胶的稳定涩味洁牙剂,其pH范围为5-8,优选为6.5-7.5、例如7,并且具有另人满意的香味。
以下的实施例是对本发明的进一步解释,应理解为本发明不受其限制。本文和所附权利要求书中所有的量均以重量计。
实施例
通过混合下表所列成分制备了含水洁牙剂。

将密封于塑料管中的洁牙剂在40°F、室温、105°F和120°F下存放在8周,未发现有结晶物质形成。
由调味专家来评估洁牙剂的涩味和口味特性,与市售不含锌离子的无涩味抗菌洁牙剂和已知有涩味的含2重量%柠檬酸锌的市售洁牙剂相比,来评估其涩味和口感接受度。
调味专家品评出该洁牙剂涩味较小。
当洁牙剂组合物中加有柠檬酸锌与1重量%的焦磷酸四钠和7重量%的三多磷酸钠而该洁牙剂组合物中不含阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物Gantrez S-97时,所制备的对比例组合物具有低的涩味,但是当室温下存放于塑料管中时,在15天内洁牙剂中便形成了不希望的晶体。
Claims (14)
1.一种稳定的低涩味含锌含水口腔用组合物,该组合物含有口腔可接受的载体,该载体所含的配合物由锌盐、阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物和焦磷酸盐在该载体中形成,从而该组合物使用者感受的涩味较小。
2.权利要求1的组合物,其中锌盐是柠檬酸锌。
3.权利要求1的组合物,其中焦磷酸盐是焦磷酸四钠或焦磷酸四钾。
4.权利要求1的组合物,其中阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物是乙烯醚/马来酸酐共聚物。
5.权利要求1的组合物,其中组合物中存在的共聚物浓度以重量计为约0.1%-约10%。
6.权利要求4的组合物,其中组合物中存在的锌盐浓度以重量计为约1%-约5%。
7.权利要求1的组合物,其中组合物中存在的焦磷酸盐浓度以重量计为约0.5%-约3.0%。
8.一种制备稳定的低涩味含锌口腔用组合物的方法,该方法包括制备口腔可接受的含水和润湿剂的载体,并且使锌盐、阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物和焦磷酸盐与该载体混合,以形成锌/阴离子多羧酸盐/焦磷酸盐配合物,从而该组合物使用者感受的涩味较小。
9.权利要求8的方法,其中锌盐是柠檬酸锌。
10.权利要求8的方法,其中焦磷酸盐是焦磷酸四钠或焦磷酸四钾。
11.权利要求8的方法,其中阴离子多羧酸盐聚合物是乙烯醚/马来酸酐共聚物。
12.权利要求11的方法,其中组合物中存在的共聚物浓度以重量计为约0.1%-约10%。
13.权利要求8的方法,其中组合物中存在的锌盐浓度以重量计为约1%-约5%。
14.权利要求8的方法,其中组合物中存在的焦磷酸盐浓度以重量计为约0.5%-约3.0%。
