Abstract

Description
本发明涉及新的组合物及其驱除爬行的有害昆虫的用途。
在人类居住区域内或周围的爬行的有害昆虫通常是用杀虫活性化合物防治的。为此,或者用所述产品直接处理这些昆虫,或者昆虫经由残余表面与产品接触,或者借助于饵经口获取所述活性化合物。杀虫活性化合物必须施用到紧邻居住区的地方,由于杀虫剂具有毒副作用,这会导致许多人的反对情绪。
机械措施,例如用于飞行昆虫的机械措施如散腿流网、金属丝网筛或电子诱捕器通常不能用于对付爬行昆虫,因为可以被爬行昆虫穿过,不起作用或作用不够(例如电子诱捕器)。
通常可以使用实际上无毒的驱避剂使有害昆虫远离人类居住区。然而,迄今为止驱除爬行的有害昆虫如蚂蚁或蟑螂的驱避剂还未有实践意义,因为已知的驱避剂是挥发性的,所以仅能持续作用非常有限的时间。已知的驱避剂对付爬行昆虫的作用很低。
已知有害的寄生昆虫和螨如蚊子、苍蝇或扁虱被施用到皮肤上的驱避剂所驱除(参见例如Gupta R.K,Rutledge I.C.,Role ofrepellents in vector control and disease prevention,Am.J.Trop.Med.Hyg.50(1995),82-86)。已知的驱避剂是例如N,N-二乙基-间-甲苯甲酰胺(DEET,I)(McCabe E.T.,Barthel W.F.,GertlerS.L.,Hall,S.A.,Insect repellents,III.N,N-二乙基酰胺类,J.Org.Chem.19 (1954),493-498),Merck 3535(IR3535,II)(Klier M.,Kuhlow F.,Neue Insektenabwehrmittel-amStickstoff substituierte β-Alaninderivate[新的昆虫驱避剂N-取代的β-丙氨酸衍生物],J.Soc.Cosmet.Chem.27(1976),141-153)和1-(2-甲基丙氧基羰基)-2-(羟乙基)-哌啶(KBR 3023,Bayrepel,III)(Boeck J.等,Pestic.Sci.48(1996),359-373):
由于该活性化合物在室温下较易挥发,这些驱避剂也仅能持续几个小时作用于爬行昆虫如蚂蚁和蟑螂。此外,DEET会侵蚀各种塑料,因为其对这些材料不具有亲和性,因此不适用。
已知DEET和香草醛的组合物对飞行昆虫如蚊子具有长期的驱避作用(Khan A.A,Maibach H.I.,Skidmore D.L.,Mosq. News35(1975),223-225)。此组合物还被用于驱除虱子,但未公开其比DEET本身具有更长的持效期EP-A-0 557 174)。此外,在JP-A-05170603中已使用了DEET与各种物质如水杨酸衍生物的组合物来驱避飞行昆虫如蚊子(白纹伊蚊)。然而,这些出版物未提到上述组合物对爬行的有害昆虫具有持久的驱避作用。
本发明的目的是提供一种防治爬行的有害昆虫的组合物,该组合物不具有上述驱避剂和杀虫剂的缺点。
按照本发明,此目的由权利要求1所述的组合物实现。这些组合物含有驱避剂和选自苯酚、苯甲酸及其衍生物的添加剂。
令人惊讶的是现已发现通过将驱避剂与上述添加剂之一混合能不可预见地延长这些驱避剂对爬行昆虫的作用。驱避剂和添加剂协同作用,其结果大于按比例的延长作用。这种效果不是仅仅因添加剂抑制驱避剂的蒸发所能解释的。
按照本发明可使用的驱避剂是对爬行昆虫有驱避作用的所有化合物。优选DEET、IR3535和Bayrepel,按照本发明特别优选Bayrepel。

上述芳族酚/醛/羧酸的杂环化合物,例如2-羟基吡啶或2-羟基呋喃或2-羟基噻唑或2-羟基吡咯或2-羟基吡唑或2-甲酰基吡啶或2-甲酰基呋喃或2-甲酰基噻唑或2-甲酰基吡咯或2-羧基吡唑或2-羧基吡啶或2-羧基呋喃或2-羧基噻唑或2-羧基吡咯或2-羧基吡唑。
此外,根据本发明,上述种类化合物例如2-氯-4-羧基苯磺酸或2-甲酰基-4-羟基苯甲酸或1-氨基-6-氯-4-羧基萘-2-磺酸的所有组合物都可用作添加剂。
根据本发明优选的添加剂是水杨酸、香草醛、反式肉桂醛、2,4-二甲氧基苯甲醛或对-羟基苯甲醛,特别优选水杨酸。
可同于本发明的组合物中的驱避剂和添加剂是市场上可买到的。通过简单地混合预期的成分可获得本发明的组合物。
根据本发明,组合物中驱避剂与添加剂的比例是100∶10重量%至100∶200重量%,特别优选80∶100至120∶100重量%,更特别优选100∶100重量%。
本发明的组合物可用于在保护储藏产品和材料以及卫生部门中防治动物害虫,特别用于驱除许多爬行昆虫。特别适用于驱除蚂蚁和蟑螂。然而,本发明的组合物还对一般敏感和抗性的品种例如下列目的害虫有活性:
唇足亚纲,例如Geophilus carpophagus,Scutigera属;
Zygentoma,例如台湾衣鱼;
弹尾目,例如武装棘跳虫;

蚤目,例如印鼠客蚤、角叶蚤鼠;
蛛形纲,例如Scorpio maurus、红斑蛛;
蜱螨目,例如粗脚粉螨、锐缘蜱属、钝缘蜱属、鸡皮刺螨、茶瘿螨、桔皱叶刺瘿螨、牛蜱属、扇头蜱属、花蜱属、璃眼蜱属、硬蜱属、Psooptes属、痒螨属、疥螨属、跗线螨属、苜蓿苔螨、全爪螨属、叶螨属。
此外,本发明的组合物可用于对付动物寄生虫,例如体外寄生虫如扁虱、螨、蝇、虱、跳蚤或蠕虫。可用于对付所有寄生和非寄生发育阶段的外寄生虫。

实施例
实施例1
活性化合物在处理后的表面上对蚂蚁的驱避效果测定
试验在结晶皿(30cm,高10cm)中进行,使用花园蚁(黑毛蚁)。皿壁用滑石粉处理以防治试验动物逃跑。皿底填满一层高约3-4cm的充分湿润的泥炭土。在开始试验前至少5天,向皿中装入300只蚂蚁,这样到试验开始时这些蚂蚁将已建造好通道和躲藏场所。只要检验的物质是无杀虫剂的,那么以这种方式准备的结晶皿可持续使用若干周。用森林蜂蜜(forest honey)和结晶糖伺喂蚂蚁,在试验期间将饲料从皿中取出。
在试验开始前将2个玻璃片(5×10cm)放入皿中。一个片用活性化合物处理过,而另一个未处理。
蚂蚁的活动性可例如视觉监测。
测定的是在15分钟内穿越被评价的表面的蚂蚁数。活动性必须达到至少100次接触。如果活动性不够高,试验的时间必须相应地延长。通过评估在处理过的和未处理的玻璃片上的接触次数,可确定合理的驱避作用。
用不同的驱避剂和添加剂的组合物进行的实验的结果如下所示。在这些组合物中,驱避剂和添加剂以100∶100%重量的比例混合。在添加剂中,只有香草醛对蚂蚁有轻微的驱避作用。不能延长作用的Bayrepel和聚乙二醇(PEG)或甘油的组合物示为比较实施例。

实施例2:
KBR3023对蟑螂的驱避作用
试验KBR3023对第5幼虫期的德国蟑螂(德国小蠊)的驱避作用。因此,要测试芳族醛香草醛是否能改进残余作用。
试验在顶部开口的纸板试验箱(60×40cm)中进行。箱壁用滑石粉处理以防止试验动物逃跑。在箱子较长的一个侧面距壁3cm远竖立一个白色纸板盒(12×6.5×2.5cm)作为躲藏场所。蟑螂可通过躲藏场所面对壁的一面上宽2cm、高1cm的开口进入躲藏场所。试验开始前24小时将箱中装入50只蟑螂,其中的绝大多数在试验开始时已进入躲藏场所。
在试验箱上方,将两盏红外线灯悬挂在支架上以便红外线直接照入试验箱。
试验当天在试验开始前将两块瓦片(15×15cm)放入箱中。一个瓦片已预先用活性化合物处理过,另一个未处理。为了引诱蟑螂爬到瓦片上,在瓦片下放置一个装有溶于水的麦片的Lupolen塞(直径1.5cm,高0.5cm)。然后实验室熄灯,仅用红外线照明。
现在开始例如通过视觉(必要时借助夜视显示器)监测蟑螂的活动性。
测定的是在试验开始后1小时20分钟内穿越瓦片中间三分之一部分的蟑螂数。通过评估在处理过的和未处理的瓦片上的接触次数,可确定可能的驱避作用。
用Bayrepel和香草醛的组合物进行的实验的结果如下所示。在该组合物中,驱避剂和添加剂以100∶100%重量的比例混合。

Claims (16)
1.含驱避剂和添加剂的组合物,其特征在于该添加剂选自苯酚、苯甲醛、苯甲酸或其衍生物,并且所述添加剂与驱避剂的比例是10∶100至200∶100重量%,条件是:驱避剂不是N,N-二乙基-间-甲苯甲酰胺(DEET)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的组合物,其特征在于添加剂与驱避剂的比例是80∶100至120∶100重量%。
3.根据权利要求1所述的组合物,其特征在于添加剂与驱避剂的比例是100∶100重量%。
4.根据上述任一权利要求所述的组合物,其特征在于驱避剂选自Merck3535(IR3535)和1-(2-甲基丙氧基羰基)-2-(羟乙基)-哌啶(Bayrepel)。
5.根据权利要求4所述的组合物,其特征在于驱避剂是1-(2-甲基丙氧基羰基)-2-(羟乙基)-哌啶(Bayrepel)。
6.根据上述任一权利要求所述的组合物,其特征在于添加剂选自水杨酸、香草醛、反式肉桂醛、2,4-二甲氧基苯甲醛或对-羟基苯甲醛。
7.根据权利要求6所述的组合物,其特征在于添加剂是水杨酸。
8.根据上述任一权利要求所述的组合物,其特征在于驱避剂是1-(2-甲基丙氧基羰基)-2-(羟乙基)-哌啶(Bayrepel),且添加剂是水杨酸。
9.根据权利要求1-8中任一项所述的组合物驱除爬行的有害昆虫的用途。
10.根据权利要求9所述的用途,其特征在于爬行的有害昆虫是蚂蚁或蟑螂。
11.驱除爬行的有害昆虫的方法,该方法包括将根据权利要求1-8中任一项所述的组合物施用到不希望被该昆虫穿越的表面上。
12.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其特征在于爬行的有害昆虫是蚂蚁或蟑螂。
13.含权利要求1-3、6或7中任一项所述的N,N-二乙基-间-甲苯甲酰胺(DEET)和添加剂的组合物驱除爬行的有害昆虫的用途。
14.根据权利要求13所述的用途,其特征在于爬行的有害昆虫是蚂蚁或蟑螂。
15.驱除爬行的有害昆虫的方法,该方法包括将含权利要求1-3、6或7中任一项所述的N,N-二乙基-间-甲苯甲酰胺(DEET)和添加剂的组合物施用到不希望被该昆虫穿越的表面上。
16.根据权利要求15所述的方法,其特征在于爬行的有害昆虫是蚂蚁或蟑螂。
