背景技术
已知的喷口杯(orifice cup)安装在手动手持式喷射器的排出通道内,该杯子在其圆柱形侧壁处被压配在圆孔壁内,以便与之紧密摩擦接合时通常保持不动。以旋流室形式的旋流机构和通向那里的切向通道形成在喷口杯的圆形底壁的内表面上。在手动促动喷射器(例如通过挤压柱塞头来促动泵式喷射器或通过按压扳机来促动扳机促动喷射器)时,在液态产品以喷雾形式通过排出喷口分配之前被压迫穿过限定的排出通道并且穿过旋流机构时,会产生相当大的压力。当然,在未设有旋流机构的情况下或具有固定不动的旋流机构的情况下,液体以射流形式从排出喷口中分配出来。
已知的喷口杯被模制成具有圆筒形裙壁以及在其前端附近从杯子侧面径向向外伸出的环形定位凸缘。该喷口杯通常被压配在位于排出通道的终端处的圆柱形孔内,从而紧密摩擦接合在杯子的圆筒形侧壁和圆柱形孔壁之间。环形定位凸缘设计成伸进泵式喷射器主体的面对的圆筒形部分中,该部分用来帮助喷口杯在孔道内固定不动以及用作位于喷口杯和排出通道的孔道之间的密封件。
有时喷口杯在喷射器促动期间将在作用于其下侧表面上的持续高压的作用下脱离其孔道。当该情况发生时,该喷口杯可以向下游进行充分移动,从而其环形固定/密封凸缘移动脱离其配合凹槽甚至离开孔道的终端。因此,喷口杯和孔道壁之间的密封被破坏,从而打开了一条用于液体泄漏出但是很微小的通道。这就出现了一种难看的且完全不可接受的状况。
此外,在旋流机构形成于喷口杯的基底内表面上的情况下,其中该内表面与喷射器主体上的延伸进入杯子中的面一起对探针协同工作,喷口杯响应于所施加的高压而向下游方向的任何轻微的移动将引起产品泄漏,并将降低旋流机构使产品旋转并且将它打碎成细小的喷雾的能力。
因此,需要在该喷口杯在其孔道内的保持性和可密封性方面进行改进。
发明内容
因此,本发明的一个目的在于提供一种用于手动喷射器的喷口杯,该喷口杯可靠地保持不动而不会移动,并且以只需要最小改变的方式密封在其孔道中,以防止泄漏,从而只增加了很少的成本,该喷口杯在喷口杯在其孔道中的保持性和可密封性方面得到了很大改进。
为了实现该目的,本发明的喷口杯的裙部模制成沿着穿过该喷口的流体的上游方向向外逐渐变细的截头圆锥形状。喷口杯的圆形基底的外径基本上与排出孔道的壁的直径相同。杯裙壁相对于上述外径径向向外变窄,从而当压配到其孔道中时,整个裙壁由于排出流体的压力而紧密压靠在孔道壁上,从而使喷口杯固定不动而不会移动,并且使喷口杯在其孔道中密封而不会从杯子周围出现任何泄漏。
从下面的本详细说明中并结合附图将可以更加清楚地了解本发明的其它目的、优点和新颖特征。

具体实施方式
现在参照这些附图,其中相同的参考标号在这些附图中表示相同和相应的部件。手动喷射器在图1中大体上由10表示,它采取由在美国专利4,051,983中所披露的类型的泵式喷射器,该专利在这里被引用作为参考。当然,其它类型的手动手持式喷射器也可以采用本发明,例如扳机促动泵喷射器、烟雾剂喷射器、压挤瓶喷射器等。
喷射器10具有主体部件11,它包括用来将喷射器安装在所要喷射产品的容器(未示出)上的盖子12。该主体部件还包括安装在中空柱塞杆14上的柱塞头13,该柱塞杆14具有可在将外部手指压力施加在柱塞头的顶部15上时以本领域所公知的方式在泵缸(未示出)内往复运动的泵活塞(未示出)。当然,在柱塞往复运动之前,首先要由操作人员将顶盖16除去。
活塞杆限定了一条排出通道17,该通道与设在头部中的横向延伸的中空圆柱形孔道18相通。柱塞头具有在横向上与孔道18共轴地延伸的圆柱形探针19。
根据本发明的喷口杯21在许多方面类似于在4,051,983中所披露的喷口杯,其中它呈套筒形,具有包含有排出孔23的底壁22,通过这些孔采用本领域所公知的细小雾滴的形式分配液体产品。底壁在松弛状态中的直径基本上等于或稍微大于圆柱形孔18的壁的直径。环形定位凸缘24与喷口杯一体地形成,并且以与基底壁的外径相比较大的直径 d从基底的侧壁径向向外延伸。同样,基底壁的内表面26形成有已知的旋流机构26,该机构包括与排出喷口共轴的旋流腔室27和多个(通常为3个)通向旋流腔室的切向通道28,用来向旋流腔室中的液体施加旋涡,从而使得液体以细小的喷雾形式从喷口中喷出来。
喷口杯21还具有一体模制的裙部29以及在喷口杯安装在圆柱形孔道18中时延伸进入裙部的中空部分中的探针19。探针的直径略小于裙部的内径,从而限定了形成排出通道17的延伸部分的环形间隙31。或者,可以在探针19的面对壁和/或孔道18上设有轴向肋条或凹槽。并且,该探针具有平终端32,该终端面对着通道28,以便与之形成切向流动通道。通过这样的方式,如在本领域所公知的一样,在泵装满液体之后,施加给柱塞头的每个向下冲程挤压着泵室(未示出)中的液体,并且迫使液体在压力的作用下沿着排出通道17、间隙31和切向通道28穿过打开的排出阀(未示出),切向通道使得液体在旋流腔室中形成涡流,从而使得形成涡流的液体以细小的喷雾形式分配穿过排出喷口23。
具体地说,根据本发明,裙部29模制成如在图3中详细所示一样的截头圆锥形。因此,裙部29的外壁沿着流体的上游方向径向向外从在基底22处的直径 d逐渐变化至位于裙部自由端附近的最大外径D。该最大直径D基本上等于定位凸缘24的直径 dd,并且有助于更容易将模制部件从模具中除去。此外,要注意的是,裙部的自由端可在33处形成斜面,以更容易帮助喷口杯插入在圆柱形孔道18内。
作为所涉及的若干尺寸的实施例(不以任何方式限制本发明),直径 d可以为0.179英寸,直径dd和D可以为0.185英寸,并且裙部的倒锥形部的长度可以为0.096英寸。
可采用任意本领域所公知的常规方式将喷口杯插入到柱塞头的圆柱形孔道18中。柱塞头所选用的塑料材料具有足够的适应性,从而喷口杯的倒锥体被压配到圆柱形孔道18中,且不会在喷口杯或在柱塞头中产生任何裂纹。在喷口杯和圆柱形孔道的壁之间实现的紧密摩擦配合已经显示出用来牢牢地使喷口杯固定不动,从而即使在进行反复泵冲程从而使得杯的内表面25受到的流体压力甚至超过实际上正常出现的压力之后也不会移动。裙部的倒锥体不仅用来大大改善与圆柱形孔壁的紧密摩擦接合,而且用来避免产品在位于盖子裙部和孔18的壁之间的内表面处出现任何泄漏。
定位凸缘24是任选的,并且可以设置作为使喷口杯固定不动的附加装置。
虽然已经参照指尖促动泵喷射器对本发明进行了说明,但是本发明并不限于此,而是在本发明的范围内可以同样完全适用于烟雾剂喷射器、扳机促动泵喷射器、压挤瓶喷射器等。喷口杯的倒锥体在所有这些喷射器中同样能够很好地用来使喷口杯牢牢固定在其圆柱形孔道中,从而即使在所分配的流体的极大且反复的高压作用下也不会移位。
显然,在上面教导的启示下,可以对本发明作出许多改进和变化。因此,要理解的是,在所附的权利要求的范围内,可以采用在这里具体所述之外的方式来实施本发明。

Claims (6)

1.一种手动喷射器,它包括:主体部件,它具有终止在排出喷口中的排出通道,通过所述排出通道在喷射器促动时分配出液体产品;安装在所述排出通道内的喷口杯,该喷口杯包括具有相对于液体产品的通道沿着上游方向延伸的整体裙部的基底壁,所述排出通道包括具有预定的壁直径的圆柱形孔道,所述喷口杯的基底壁包含有排出孔,并且所述基底壁的外径基本上与所述预定的壁直径相同,所述裙部的外壁呈截头圆锥形,并且沿着上游方向向外逐渐变细,从而外壁的最大直径超过所述预定直径,所述裙部的外壁以密封方式接合着所述圆柱形孔道的壁,以便使喷口杯牢牢固定在孔道内,并防止液体产品在裙部的外壁和圆柱形孔道的壁之间通过。
2.如权利要求1所述的喷射器,其特征在于,所述喷口杯具有环形定位凸缘,该凸缘从基底壁的侧面向外伸出,从而与圆柱形孔道的壁接合,用来进一步将喷口杯牢牢固定在孔道内。
3.如权利要求1所述的喷射器,其特征在于,所述主体部件具有圆柱形探针,该探针朝着基底壁延伸进入喷口杯,从而与基底壁的面对表面一起限定出旋流机构。
4.如权利要求2所述的喷射器,其特征在于,所述定位凸缘的外径基本上等于外壁的最大直径。
5.如权利要求3所述的喷射器,其特征在于,在探针和孔道的壁之间形成有与混合腔室装置相通的流体通道。
6.如权利要求3所述的喷射器,其特征在于,所述旋流机构包括通向旋流腔室的切向凹槽,所述探针的端面覆盖在这些凹槽上,以形成切向通道。
