Abstract
本发明涉及一种用于印版成像的方法,其中制备出一种具有一上墨层和一在上墨层上面的斥墨层的印版,根据本发明,按照一有待印刷的图象利用一喷墨装置将显影液喷涂在斥墨层上,利用显影液使在被喷涂的区段内的斥墨层(04)被溶解,膨胀,或消除附着,并且去除斥墨层上被溶解的区段。特别是采用具有由硅树脂构成的斥墨层的无水印版。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种根据权利要求1前序部分所述的一种用于对印版成像的方法。
背景技术
已知有各种用于胶印的平板或印版成像的方法。一方面用激光对感光版曝光并且接着进行湿化学显影。另外还有根据现有技术的所谓的热版,其中通过激光能实现最上层的络合并且在下一个步骤将接着的过程处理完毕。在采用所谓的热蚀版时则选用另一种方案。在此通过激光将吸收的中间层进行蒸发,接着将在其上面的斥墨层溶解并且在下一个步骤中将其去除掉(参见:US 54 87 338A)。
另外已知通过涂覆一种相应的液体对印版成像。根据US 40 03 312A在印版基质上根据有待印刷的图像喷涂硅树脂溶液并硬化,从而形成印版的必要的表面结构。但很难对有待喷涂的硅树脂层进行处理。另外还必须对喷涂的硅树脂层进行硬化。
JP 101 19 230A披露了一种制备印版的方法。在该印版中在上水层上面有上墨层,即印刷层。在制备印版时利用喷墨嘴将成像材料喷涂在上墨层上,从而使不印刷的区段溶于水。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提出一种用于印版成像的方法。
该目的通过采用权利要求1的特征得以实现。
采用本发明实现的优点尤其在于采用一喷墨打印机根据一有待印刷的图象在斥墨层上涂覆显影液,利用显影液将被喷涂区段内的斥墨层溶解并且去除斥墨层被溶解的区段。
在利用喷墨打印机直接通过对最上层的喷涂或印刷实现对最上层的涂覆以及溶解,使最上层的有关部分被蚀刻掉。利用显影液改变斥墨层的特性,使被显影液印刷的区段很容易被去除掉。没有被显影液印刷的区段仍然保留在印版上,从而实现所需的表面结构。在去除了斥墨层的区段内上墨层被显露出来,从而使印版根据有待印刷的图象获得上墨区段和斥墨区段。利用喷墨打印机以小型液滴方式可实现对显影液精确的涂覆。
采用上述的对印版表面层的直接溶解方式可实现显著的优点。可实现喷墨方法的较高的工作安全性,特别是不必进行采用通常方法时对墨的烘干。在喷涂硅树脂溶液或光敏油墨用于对印版进行曝光显影时往往印头会被粘住,这将会导致必须进行费力的清洗或印头完全不能使用。与此相反本发明所采用的显影液不会粘住喷墨打印机的印头。
另外省去了诸如对喷涂的硅树脂或合成树脂硬化等对印版处理时的其它的步骤或省去了在将不溶解的区段硬化后对光敏层通常进行的显影。
在特别有益的方式中,在进行所述的对印版成像时省去了在采用迄今已知的工艺时必须遵守的印刷机净化空间条件,因为没有涂覆材料,而仅仅是去除材料。
原则上讲可以采用各种印版。但优选采用具有由硅树脂构成的斥墨层的无水印版。作为上墨层可以对各种承受用于斥墨层的显影液的层加以考虑,特别是在硅树脂层下面有一聚乙烯薄膜。
所采用的显影液宜与待溶解的层一致。特别是采用可以将斥墨层的有关区段液化的溶剂。因此在后续步骤中可以将溶解的区段内的硅树脂层特别容易地去除掉。
可以考虑采用各种去除印版的在上面的层的溶解的区段的方案。例如可以用第一印刷油墨或通过相应的清洗单元机械去除被溶解的区段。优选通过印版的机械应力,特别是通过印刷过程去除印版的上面一层被溶解的区段。因此减少了成像所需的处理步骤并实现了有效及简单的印版成像。
替代上述对斥墨层的溶解和去除,原则上讲也可以利用喷墨打印机以上述方式对上面的上墨层进行印刷并对其溶解以及去除,从而在此情况下将在下面的斥墨层露出。优选以上述方式采用具有在上面的尤其是由硅树脂构成的斥墨层的印版,对所述斥墨层根据有待印刷的图象去除掉相应区段。

具体实施方式
图1所示的印版01具有一载体层或基质02,所述基质由铝构成并具有相应的厚度,以便实现所需的特性。在基质上涂覆有一上墨层03及在上面的一斥墨层04。上墨层03可以是聚乙烯薄膜。其厚度在5-50μm范围内,优选为20μm。斥墨层04由硅树脂构成。可对其厚度进行相应的选择。其厚度可在几μm范围内。在本实施例中为2μm。在基质02与上墨层03之间可以有一粘合-或底层。在本实施例中该层是氧化钛层。
优选采用Presstek公司出品(商品名:PearlDry)的无水印版,在US 54 87 338A中就印版的结构做了明确的披露。
为了实现根据有待印刷的图象的相应区段内的硅树脂层的溶解及去除,利用在图1中示意示出的喷墨打印机的印头05将作为显影液的溶剂以小液滴的形式涂覆在硅树脂层04的表面。以对喷墨打印机通用的方式对印头05进行控制。与有待印刷的图象相符涂覆的溶剂对被涂覆的区段进行液化,从而可以在这些区段浸提出硅树脂。替代液化,也可以仅通过例如膨胀或减少在其下面的层上面的固定实现对硅树脂层04的特性的改变。可以用第一油墨或相应的清洗单元去除溶解的硅树脂层04,确切地说去除硅树脂层的被溶解的区段。优选被溶解的硅树脂以液体形式存在。尤其是可以通过印刷过程的机械应力去除液化的硅树脂。
在图2中示出去除了硅树脂层04的相应区段的已经成像的印版。用印刷油墨与印版01接触,所述油墨仅附着在上墨的聚乙烯层03上,即仅附着在去除了硅树脂层的区段内。因此印版的图像可以转印在有待印刷的载体上。

Claims (4)
1.一种用于对印版成像的方法,其中制备出一种具有一上墨层(03)和一在上墨层上面的斥墨层(04)的印版(01),根据一有待印刷的图象利用一喷墨装置(05)将显影液涂覆在斥墨层(04)上,利用显影液使在被涂覆的区段内的斥墨层(04)产生变化,并且去除斥墨层(04)上发生变化的区段。
2.按照权里要求1所述的方法,其中采用具有由硅树脂构成的斥墨层的印版(01)用于无水胶印。
3.按照上述权利要求1或2所述的方法,其中采用一种显影液,利用所述显影液将斥墨层(04)的被喷涂区段液化。
4.按照上述权利要求中任一项所述的方法,其中通过印版(01)的机械应力去除掉斥墨层(04)的被溶解的区段。
