本发明是有关于一种保障物品安全的锁,更具体地说本发明是一种通常具有扁长的、横向非对称锁扣并适用于单手使用的挂锁。
背景技术
授予Stull的第1,542,016号美国专利提出了一种具有大致对称的、“大致是C形”锁扣的“密码”锁,在此一并整体引用供参考。作为密码锁的组成部分还包括被“操作筒体”包围的转筒,操作筒体可以移动转筒。因此正确转动筒体就可以使筒体和转筒均“整体在锁扣上移动”并打开锁定机构。
授予Kou的第5,433,092号美国专利还提出了一种具有对称锁扣系统的键控锁。由两根锁杆构成(而Stull发明的锁由一根构成),Kuo发明的锁设想将锁杆与在含有锁定机构的房屋外的门销或门闩连接。正常使用此锁时几乎一定需要两只手,一只手利用键控制锁定机构而另一只手要抓着并至少移动两根锁杆中的一根锁杆。
发明内容
相反,本发明提供了一种在许多实施例中具有横向非对称锁扣的挂锁。此外,适于单手操作的该锁还包括通过枢轴或等效部件与锁扣的相邻一端相连的臂。在使用过程中,臂可以绕着枢轴转动,然后露出锁扣的另一端。用圆筒形(或其它形状)转筒包围部分臂。尽管可以设想使用键控(或其它)机构,但是转筒优先用于限定组成锁定机构的一个或多个转轮的位置,并包括组成锁定机构的一个或多个转轮。当用一只手的拇指或其它手指适当转动时,一个或多个转轮会使转筒沿臂向转动枢轴滑动,因此露出锁扣的另一端并将壁从中旋出。通过向着锁扣的露出端偏置臂,弹簧或其它部件可以将锁锁住。
根据本发明挂锁的锁扣至少定义两个弯曲(通常是但并不一定是U形的)部分,一个弯曲部分的半径大于另一个弯曲部分的半径。通过设计非对称的锁扣,挂锁在倾斜于圆柱形锁扣、以便于使其在某些位置移动特别有用。在其它位置,较小弯曲部分的有限宽度要求被保障安全的物品限定锁扣的部分较大弯曲部分,这样当打开锁时就可以保证将臂从物品转开。此外,由于其精确形状以及弯曲段与直段的相对位置,尽管这对于其操作过程无关紧要,但是从美学观点看,该锁扣具有吸引力。
的确,本发明挂锁的一些实施例在外形上类似于人耳或在诸如登山的高山体育活动中使用的竖钩。授予Wurzer的第5,463,798号美国专利,在子标题“Description of the Related Art”部分对传统竖钩进行了说明。正如Wurzer的专利的第一列第52至60行所详细说明的那样,其中这些竖钩要求用双手操作并且显然不希望利用钥匙或转轮打开。因此,其功能与操作方法与本发明挂锁的功能和操作方法不同。
因此,本发明的一个目的是提供一种适于单手操作的挂锁。
本发明还有一个目的是提供一种具有横向非对称锁扣的挂锁。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种其锁扣至少定义两个弯曲部分,其一个弯曲部分较宽,或其一个弯曲部分比另一个弯曲部分具有较大曲率半径的锁。
本发明的又一个目的是提供一种其臂被安装到锁扣上最接近窄弯曲部分的位置的锁。
本发明的附加目的是提供一种具有一个或多个用于限定部分臂并在用拇指或其它手指进行手动操作时适于旋转的转轮的锁。
本发明的再一个目的是提供一种其弹簧或其它部件向着锁定位置偏置的锁。
通过参考本申请文件的其余部分以及附图,本发明的其它目的、特征以及优势将变得更加明显。

具体实施方式
图1和图2为根据本发明的一种形式的挂锁10。典型的扁长形挂锁10包括锁扣14和锁定机构18,其中一些或全部由塑料、金属或任何其它适当材料制成。如图2所示,机构18可以包括臂22、转轮26、转筒30(由弓形体30A和30B构成)、挡圈34、锁销38、舌片42以及弹簧46。图1和图2还详细绘出枢轴50,用于将臂22连接到锁扣14。
典型锁扣14引入被部位62分离的弯曲部位54和58。部位54的曲率半径通常大于部位58的曲率半径,因此锁扣14横向不对称。相反,部位62通常是直的(或相对直),所以挂锁10的外形类似于人耳或竖钩。挂锁10不必是扁长形的,然而也可以是其它要求的形状。此外,在挂锁10的一些实施例中,锁扣14不必横向非对称。
在部位54的末端66成型凹槽70,其开口74对着部位62。如下所述,凹槽70适于接收锁定机构18的锁销38。此外,可以选择将平面型区域78引入端部66。
作为锁扣14的部位58的一部分存在相对端部82。在端部82上成型具有开口90的凹槽86。然而与开口74不同,开口90对着端部66,而非部位62。在使用过程中,凹槽86接收舌片42,舌片42帮助利用弹簧46偏置臂22。
还在部位58的端部82上成型通孔94。沿锁扣14的深度延伸的通孔94用于接收枢轴50的轴98,因此通孔的直径与轴98的直径接近相同。一旦插入到通孔94内,枢轴50的扩展直径头部1 02就将枢轴50保持在应有位置。
如图1和图2所示,部位54的曲率半径R1大于部位58的曲率半径R2。因此锁扣14横向不对称。此外,与半径R2比较,挂锁10紧固的某些钩子、钩环或其它物品的半径可以足够大,因此部位58不会容易地通过它们滑动。因此,挂锁10的取向通常是部位54朝上,部位54与待保障安全的物品接触放置,而部位58垂挂。当挂锁10被打开时,同样允许转筒30以重力方向向下滑动。在其它情况下,锁扣14的非对称性会使转筒30倾斜到用户,有助于手动操作转轮26。锁定机构18的臂22被分为多个段。臂22的下段106是对扩展深度中空的,因此弹簧46和舌片42可以被接收,并且此中空适于通过(平面110的)端部82。此外,在下段106引入开口114。如果通过端部82进行适当装配,则开口114将对准并包围通孔94。一旦这样装配,则开口114和通孔94可以接收具有头部102(其直径大于开口114的直径)的枢轴50,枢轴50用于固定下段106与端部82的相对位置。因此,枢轴50不仅可以作为定位器,而且可以作为臂22绕着其旋转的轴。
靠近开口114的下段106的内部优先是平面的以与端部82的平面110贴合。然而,本技术领域内的熟练技术人员会认识到,不必要求下段106的内部是平的,同样不必要求表面110是平的。同样,根据本发明,在适当或要求时,可以采用转轴机构而非采用枢轴50。但是图1和图2绘出一种适于许多用途的挂锁10。
下段106的外部118可以包括细长凹槽区域122和平面126。如下所述,存在区域122可以使转筒30沿臂向锁扣14的端部82滑动。平面126同样支持此滑动还可以放置转筒30绕着臂22旋转。
臂22的中段130含有一个或多个减小直径的分段134。转轮26限定臂22上的各分段134的位置,并且如果分段134的数目大于1个,则用岛状物138将它与相邻的分段134分离。各岛状物138包括凹槽区域142,凹槽区域142与下段106的凹槽区域122纵向对准。
臂22的上段146具有一般U形(或其它形状)内部150,内部150与端66(或者末端66)的平面区域78配合或衔接。此外,还在上段146上成型开口154,开口154内可以插入锁销38。锁销38插入开口154后,锁销38穿过内部150,并且当臂22绕枢轴转动到端部22时,开口74的凹槽70接收锁销38,这样就可以进一步防止它移动。
如上所述,转筒30可以由弓形体30A和30B构成。如此,则挡圈34适于将弓形体30A和30B配合在一起作为一个转筒30。此外,转筒30还容纳被定位在臂22上的转轮26。
各转轮26具有内部凸起物158,凸起物158与其表面上的数字或符号对应。此外,此凸起物158还适于被凹槽区域142和122接收。因此,当操作各转轮26使凸起物158与凹槽区域142对准时,转筒30可以沿臂22向着端部82滑动。这样就会露出锁扣14的端部66,允许用手动压力向内、对着部位62转动臂22(转动到内部空间162内),这样就可以“打开”挂锁10。
如图2所示,由于舌片42的取向原因,向内逆着弹簧46的弹簧力转动臂22。舌片42和弹簧46向外对着端部66偏置臂22的上段146,试图将锁销38返回凹槽70。因为用户仅需要将臂22返回其偏置位置,然后向上滑动转筒30并转动转轮26以致至少有一个凸起物158不再对准相应的凹槽区域142,所以当对臂22施加的手动压力释放时,此偏置力有助于“锁闭”挂锁10。因此,本发明可以实现用单手操作挂锁10,但是也可以用双手进行操作。
上述内容仅是为了对本发明实施例进行说明、解释和描述。显然,本技术领域内的技术人员可以在本发明的实质范围内对这些实施例进行进一步调整和修改。锁定机构18不必与上述特意说明的那样相同,例如可以具有更多或更少的部件。它同样可以是键控的或者是适于被打开或锁闭的,而无需使用转轮26。作为另一个例子,还可以使用偏置装置而不使用舌片42和弹簧46,同样可以使用定位器而不使用枢轴50和锁销38。

Claims (13)

1.一种在锁闭时确定一个内部空间的挂锁,在使用时被锁物体的一部分延伸在所述内部空间内,其特征为:包括:
a.锁扣,具有分离的第一端和第二端,所述第二端确定一凹槽;
b.臂,在第一端与第二端之间的距离内延伸,所述臂连接到第二端,当锁扣处于开启位置时,臂可以转动到内部空间,所述臂具有一个下段中空部;
c.舌片,所述舌片一端放置于上述锁扣第二端的凹槽内;
d.弹簧,所述弹簧套设于舌片上,并且弹簧与舌片共同收容于所述臂的下段中空部,当锁扣处于开启位置时,弹簧与舌片提供偏置力以自动锁闭锁扣。
2.根据权利要求1所述的挂锁,其特征为:锁扣至少具有两个曲率不同的弯曲部分。
3.根据权利要求2所述的挂锁,其特征为:在臂的部分上还包括一转筒,当挂锁锁闭时,转筒位置固定;当挂锁打开时,转筒位置不固定。
4.根据权利要求3所述的挂锁,其特征为:臂具有凹槽区域,挂锁还包括至少一个容纳在转筒内的转轮,转轮具内部凸起物,通过手动操作转轮可以使内部凸起物与凹槽区域对准。
5.根据权利要求4所述的挂锁,其特征为:锁扣的第二端还确定一通孔,并且臂的空心下段包括多个开口,下段这样接收锁扣的第二端以致通孔与开口对准。
6.根据权利要求5所述的挂锁,其特征为:该挂锁还包括枢轴,枢轴穿过对准的通孔和开口以将臂连接到锁扣的第二端并允许臂转动到内部空间。
7.根据权利要求1所述的挂锁,其特征为:臂确定具有一般U形内部和多个开口的上段,该挂锁还包括插入开口内以致当挂锁锁闭时一般的U形内部接触锁扣的第一端的锁销,并且锁销被在其上确定的凹槽所接收。
8.根据权利要求7所述的挂锁,其特征为:转筒包括两个弓形体,该挂锁还包括至少一个用于接合两个弓形体的挡圈。
9.根据权利要求1所述的挂锁,其特征为:所述挂锁包括一个将臂与锁扣第一端扣合或解开的组合锁合机构。
10.一种挂锁,在锁闭时确定一个内部空间,其特征为:包括:
a.锁扣,具有分离的第一端和第二端;
b.臂,连接到第二端并且能转动到内部空间;
c.偏置装置,设置在锁扣的第二端,当臂转动到内部空间时,所述偏置装置向锁扣的第一端偏置臂。
d.可分离装置,所述可分离装置连接臂与第一端。
11.根据权利要求9所述的挂锁,其特征为:所述可分离装置包括一种组合锁合机构。
12.根据权利要求9所述的挂锁,其特征为:所述偏置机构包括一个舌片。
13.根据权利要求10所述的挂锁,其特征为:所述偏置机构包括一个弹簧。
