Abstract
用于在热塑性材料构件外部表面安装热塑性材料紧固件的连接件。紧固件和构件分别具有一个连接凸体和一个连接外延体,它们具有通过焊接相互连为一体且形状相互匹配的连接表面。
Description
本发明涉及一个连接件,用于在热塑性材料的构件上安装热塑性材料的紧固件。
通常,要在塑料外壳等塑料构件上安装其他部件,此类构件必须具备紧固件,才能将其他部件安装至此类构件上。为达到此目的,例如一种通常的做法是将一种较硬的塑料材料螺纹插件压入构件的相应开口,压入的方法例如有热熔操作、超声波焊接或类似方法。然而,此种方法无法用在薄壁构件上,例如移动电话(蜂窝式电话)的外壳上。一种可能的做法是用注塑法,为构件提供一个整体螺纹凸面体。但是,这种方法只有在构件是极为简单的几何图形的情况下才有可能。
本发明的一个总目的,是为在热塑材料构件的外部表面安装塑料紧固件提供一个改进的连接件,在避免以往连接件的缺陷的同时,提供额外的结构及操作方面的优势。
发明的另一个目的,是为在已制造的构件上安装紧固件提供一个连接件,尽管此构件的外部表面并不具有安装此紧固件所要求的开口。
本发明的连接件,由一个紧固件和一个连接凸体构成,紧固件有一个具有功能件的主体,而连接凸体与所述主体为一个整体。构件配有一个与构件外部表面为一体的连接外延体,而且还有一个接受紧固件连接凸体的接受口。连接凸体和连接外延体有形状相互匹配的连接表面,通过焊接相互连接为一体。
这样就能将紧固件安装到构件的外部表面,从而成为一个整体,而构件的壁无须备有孔、凹陷或类似结构。紧固件也可以是一个用注塑法制造的简单构件。
为把紧固件和构件连接为一个整体,可采用超声波焊接或线性或旋转摩擦焊等传统的焊接法。紧固件和构件可用同种热塑性塑料制造,也可用不同但相互相容的热塑性塑料制造。为此目的,可用部分晶体或非晶体热塑性材料,同时也可在需要时使用传统填料。
为便于了解本发明,附图列举了一个关于本发明的优选实施例。通过考察这些附图,再根据下列描述加以考虑,便能极易了解和体会到此项发明、它的构造以及它的许多优点。
图1是连接前一个紧固件和一个相关构件的一部分的透视图;

图4是连接后的紧固件和构件的纵向剖面图。
图1显示的是准备安装到构件4平的外部表面6的紧固件2。构件4是一个诸如移动电话(蜂窝式电话)外壳这样的薄壁构件。紧固件2由一个主体8和一个连接凸体10构成,该连接凸体与主体是一个整体,它将接纳在一个与构件4的外部表面6为一体的连接外延体12上。
紧固件2具有功能件14,它由例如一个光滑或螺纹孔、或其他封闭的部分或卡接件或类似连接件构成。有鉴于此,当紧固件2安装到构件4的外部表面6后,它便能进行一项相应的紧固功能。
紧固件2的连接凸体10和构件4的连接外延体12配备有形状匹配的连接表面20,24,它们通过焊接操作相互连接在一起。焊接操作可以是超声波焊接或线性或旋转摩擦焊(振动焊接)等传统焊接法,也可以是用热元件或类似件焊接方法。紧固件2和构件4各由一种热塑性材料制成,因此可以进行相应的连接操作。为此目的,它们可以用同种塑料制造,或用相互相容的不同塑料制造。
在已示出的实施例中,连接表面20,24的做成与旋转轴对称。更精确地说,连接凸体10基本上是一个圆柱形耳轴,它的外围表面被用作连接表面20。连接外延体12是一个圆柱形环状体,它有一个接受口22,其外围表面用作连接表面24。如图1至图3所示,连接表面20为台阶式构型,而连接表面24则平滑。应该指出的是,连接表面20可以是光滑的,而连接表面24可以是台阶式构型。此外,本发明包括了单级或多级台阶的连接表面。除圆柱形外,连接表面20和24亦可以为锥形或圆锥形。
连接表面20,24的轴向外延体和直径均为配套选择,因此连接操作会使两个表面的连接得天衣无缝。如图1、图2和图4所示,紧固件2的主体8的外部直径比连接凸体10的外部直径大,以便在主体8和连接凸体10之间提供一个支座表面26,在连接操作期间及其后与连接外延体的末端面贴合。
如图1和图3所示,连接外延体12在接受口22自由端有一个倒角28,便于连接凸体10插入连接外延体12的接受口22。
如图4所示,连接件由紧固件2和构件4组成,其制造方法如下:
开始时,紧固件2和构件4用如注塑法相互分开制成,如上所述,紧固件2和构件4在需要时可以用含有填料的热塑性材料制造。热塑性材料可以是部分晶体或非晶体的热塑性材料。
其后,紧固件2的连接凸体10被插入构件4连接外延体12的接受口22。连接表面22和24通过其之间的相对运动加热,塑料材料便会热塑化。相对运动被中止时,熔化了的材料会变硬,为紧固件2和构件4之间在连接表面20,24范围内提供一个整体连接。
上述连接表面之间的相对运动,可通过诸如超声波焊接或线性或旋转振动(摩擦焊)等获得。如果采用旋转振动,紧固件2的主体8的外围需要配备驱动件16,这可由例如附图所示的紧固件2的多边形(六边形)剖面构成。除使用紧固件多边形剖面外,也可使用其他驱动件,例如非圆形剖面、齿状面、成形剖面或类似传动件。另外,驱动件也可配备有主体8内,但是这样就会加大主体8的外部尺寸。应该指出的是,如果焊接操作为连接表面之间的线形相对运动(即与紧固件2的纵轴平行),则不需要驱动件16。在这种情况下,主体8的外部表面可为圆柱形或其他不同形状。
Claims (11)
1.一种用于在热塑性材料构件外部表面上安装热塑性材料紧固件的连接件,其中
所述紧固件由一个具有功能件的主体和一个与所述主体为一体的连接凸体组成,
所述构件在所述外部表面有一个具有接受口的连接外延体,用以接受所述紧固件的所述连接凸体,以及
所述连接凸体和所述外延体具有形状相互匹配的连接表面,通过焊接相互连接为一个整体。
2.如权利要求1的连接件,其中所述紧固件和所述构件由同种或相互相容的不同种热塑性材料制造。
3.如权利要求1的连接件,其中所述连接表面的焊接通过超声波焊接、线性或旋转摩擦焊或其他热熔化操作法完成。
4.如权利要求1的连接件,其中所述连接凸体的所述连接表面在焊接前是光滑或台阶式的,所述连接外延体的所述形状相互匹配的连接表面在焊接前是台阶式或是光滑的。
5.如权利要求1的连接件,其中所述连接表面围绕一个转动轴对称。
6.如权利要求1的连接件,其中所述构所述连接外延体由一个基本上为圆柱形的环状体构成。
7.如权利要求1的连接件,其中所述紧固件的所述连接凸体由一个基本上为圆柱形的耳轴构成。
8.如权利要求1的连接件,其中所述台肩式支座表面位于所述紧固件的所述主体和所述连接凸体之间,供所述连接外延体贴合。
9.如权利要求1的连接件,其中所述紧固件的所述主体由一个耳轴式构件构成,它具有与所述构件的所述外部表面垂直的纵向中心轴。
10.如权利要求9的连接件,其中所述紧固件的所述主体具有驱动件,以便与旋转焊接工具件贴合。
