Description

基于以上考虑,本发明的一个目的是提供一种配置双向移动通信设备和服务的方法和系统,为消费者提供了方便,而没有妥协载波和业务提供者的敏感的配置信息。

本发明涉及能够配置具有显示屏幕和用户接口的双向移动通信设备的方法和系统。根据本发明的一个实施例,配置事务处理由来自要配置的双向移动通信设备的对配置服务器设备的请求而启动。配置请求可以通过一代理服务器设备被递交,该代理服务器设备在验证基本参与者中充当受信任的第三方的角色。配置请求包括由使用者使用用户接口输入的信息和在移动通信设备中驻留的设备识别信息。用户输入信息可以包括个人识别信息和金融信息(例如,信用卡号码、银行帐号等),请求由外部处理单位来确认(例如TRW)。在用户信息和识别信息的确认后,配置服务器设备处理该配置请求。该处理可能需要软件模块和注册信息传递到所配置的双向移动通信设备和任何提供服务的服务器设备(例如,业务服务器)。在处理的过程中,设备的用户可能接收到有关处理的状态和所配置的业务和特征的通知。这些通知可以通过窄带数据信道(例如,短消息服务SMS)被按入所配置的设备中。

移动设备100被预先配置了与自动顾客服务中心(E-CARE)112经数据和语音通信信道通信所需要的内容。E-CARE中心112在配置处理过程中可以给用户提供帮助。E-CARE中心的一个实施例在美国专利申请09/093,944中被公开,题目是≤移动帐户业务的可视接口≥(“Visual Interface to MobileAccount Services”),在此作为参考。

9.如权利要求1所述的方法,还包括:
接收与所述配置内容的请求相关的条款和条件的通知;
获得所述用户对所述接收的条款和条件的同意;
在所述配置内容的成功安装后产生确认;和
递交所述产生的确认到所述配置服务器设备。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法,其中所述接收的通知是短消息服务(SMS)消息。
11.一种用于配置双向移动通信设备的方法,该双向移动通信设备具有一显示器和用户接口,所述方法包括:
从所述双向移动通信设备接收配置内容的请求,其中所述请求包括用户信息;
从外部实体获得与所述用户信息相关用户的资格同意;
在接收所述资格同意后,处理所述接收的配置内容的请求;和
经代理服务器设备递交所述请求的配置内容到所述双向移动通信设备,所述代理服务器与所述配置服务器设备在陆地网上通信,与所述双向移动通信设备在空中网上通信。
12.如权利要求11所述的方法,其中所述陆地网的通信协议是超文本传输协议(HTTP)或安全超文本传输协议(sHTTP)。
13.如权利要求11所述的方法,其中所述空中网的通信协议是无线协议。
14.如权利要求13所述的方法,其中所述无线协议从无线访问协议(WAP)、超文本传输协议(HTTP)和手持设备传送协议(HDTP)中选择。
15.如权利要求11所述的方法,其中所述外部实体是信用权威结构。
16.如权利要求11所述的方法,还包括:
产生与所述请求的配置内容相关的条款和条件的通知;
递交所述产生的通知到所述双向移动通信设备;和
接收与所述请求的配置内容相关的所述条款和条件的用户接受。
17.一种配置双向移动通信设备的系统,所述双向移动通信设备具有一显示器和用户接口,所述系统包括:
存储器设备,用于存储配置内容;
存储器,用于存储处理器的程序代码;
处理器,耦合到所述存储器设备和所述存储器,
其中所述处理器工作以执行存储在所述存储器中的所述程序代码,以产生对配置内容的请求,递交所述产生的请求到配置服务器设备,接收所请求的配置内容和安装所接收的所请求的内容。
18.如权利要求17所述的方法,其中所述程序代码包括:
用于处理的程序代码和初始配置原本,其中所述初始配置原本通过配置过程引导用户;和
允许所述用户与顾客服务中心通信的程序代码。
19.如权利要求18所述的方法,其中与所述顾客服务中心的所述通信是经过数据和语音通信信道。
20.一种配置双向移动通信设备的系统,所述双向移动通信设备具有一显示器和用户接口,所述系统包括:
存储器设备,用于存储配置内容;
存储器,用于存储处理器的程序代码;
处理器,耦合到所述存储器设备和所述存储器,
其中所述处理器工作以执行存储在所述存储器中的所述程序代码,以便从所述双向移动通信设备接收对配置内容的请求,处理所述接收的请求,递交所请求的配置内容到所述双向移动通信设备和登记所述双向移动通信设备。
21.一种配置双向移动通信设备的系统,所述双向移动通信设备具有一显示器和用户接口,所述系统包括:
存储器设备,用于存储配置内容;
存储器,用于存储处理器的程序代码;
处理器,耦合到所述存储器设备和所述存储器,
其中所述处理器工作以执行存储在所述存储器中的所述程序代码,以便当从远程服务器设备接收一请求时,启动配置内容到所述双向移动通信设备和提供服务的服务器设备的发送。
22.如权利要求21所述的方法,其中所述程序代码包括:
用于处理从所述远程服务器设备接收的所述请求的程序代码,其中所述请求包括所述双向移动通信设备的安全信息;和
用于核实包含在所述请求中的所述安全信息的程序代码。
