Abstract
一种宠物垃圾处理材料,它可使得排泄物等宠物垃圾能象可燃性生活垃圾一样加以处置,其原料成本低,只有其吸水部分形成较小的结块,并能够保持较大的总吸水面积,因此十分经济。宠物处理材料是由纸粉、皂土粉和吸水性聚合物混合物形成的核芯包以纸粉、皂土粉、羧甲基纤维素和淀粉混合物形成的表层构成的。
Description
本发明涉及用于处理宠物垃圾的材料,它能够将诸如粪便等宠物垃圾处理成可燃性垃圾。
已经有了多种处理宠物垃圾的材料。处理垃圾的材料不管是什么,使用后都被冲入下水道了事,或者象处理生活垃圾一样,区分可燃性垃圾和不可燃性垃圾。
通常,作为宠物垃圾处理材料的原料,皂土,羧甲基纤维素(CMC),吸水性聚合物等的灰份分别是83.5%至87.5%,19.7%和40.0%,而纸粉特别是后文将要讨论的纸管的灰份是4.5%。
所以,仅由皂土构成的宠物垃圾处理材料因灰份太高而不能作为可燃性垃圾处理。相反,为了当作可燃垃圾加以处置而用纸来制造宠物垃圾处理材料,与皂土相比成本过高。而且,为了防止飞扬,各种处理材料的颗粒大小必须有5至10mm那样大,于是在各颗粒间形成较宽的间隙,使得吸水性表面积相对体积(bulk size)的比值较小。这样,一方面吸水能力不足,而因吸水而形成大的结块需要处置,这是不经济的。
本发明解决了上述现有技术中的问题。所以,本发明目的之一是提供一种宠物垃圾处理材料,使得粪便等宠物垃圾能象可燃性生活垃圾一样加以处置,它生产原料成本低廉,总吸水面积大,结块小,只有一部分是吸水的,因此很经济。
根据本发明内容之一,宠物垃圾处理材料由核芯部分和包裹核芯部分的表层构成,核芯内是纸粉,粉状皂土和吸水性聚合物的混合物,表层内是纸粉,粉状皂土,羧甲基纤维素和淀粉的混合物。
较好的是,纸粉,粉状皂土和吸水性聚合物的混合比是:纸粉占50-80wt%,粉状皂土占20-50wt%,吸水性聚合物占1-10wt%。纸粉,粉状皂土,羧甲基纤维素和淀粉的混合比是:纸粉占5-30wt%,粉状皂土占50-90wt%,羧甲基纤维素占1-20wt%,淀粉占1-20wt%。
颗粒直径为2-6mm,燃烧后的灰份不超过50%。纸粉可由纸管来制备,这种纸管常被用作芯管卷绕新闻纸等长形片材。以2-6mm的颗粒大小与小于2mm的颗粒大小相比,若总体积相等,后者因为实际表面积更高,残留灰份超过50%,因而不合适。
纸粉可以通过一步锤式碎纸机粗辗和一步剪式碎纸机精辗来制备。
如果要制备本发明所要求的约1mm的纸粉,只多次使用锤式碎纸机和剪式碎纸机之一是不够的,因为纸管含有乙酸聚乙烯酯乳液之类黏合剂。这会提高生产成本。
而且,例如只用锤式碎纸机制备纸粉,所得的纸粉因乙酸聚乙烯酯乳液黏合剂的存在,纤维表面因摩擦而较毛糙。但是,纸纤维自身的毛糙性使之易相互缠结而难以与其它粉末即粉状皂土、吸水性聚合物、淀粉等混合均匀(静电也会对此造成影响)。
用来卷绕长材料(例如新闻用纸的纸卷)的纸管,先在第一阶段用锤式碎纸机粗辗成10cm2的纸屑,再在第二阶段粉碎成大小为第一阶段十分之一的纸屑。然后再用剪式碎纸机将纸屑精辗成直径约1mm的纸粉。
如此获得的纸粉纤维间的毛糙性小得多,不会相互缠结。这有助于纸粉与粉状皂土,吸水性聚合物,淀粉等均匀混合。
本发明由此避免了现有技术中因各种粉末干混而产生的静电,有助于粉末混合均匀。
要使宠物垃圾处理材料具有吸水性和可燃性,纸粉是不可或缺的材料。要获得纸粉,最经济的办法是利用纸管,即用来卷绕新闻纸卷之类长材料的芯管。纸管是如此制造的:用乙酸聚乙烯酯乳液等胶粘剂将许多硬板纸叠在一起,然后做成预定直径的管状,其强度由厚度决定。
皂土粉末是纸粉造粒的适宜的廉价材料。但是,如果皂土粉的混合比过高,本发明宠物垃圾处理材料的可燃性将受到影响。当燃烧后的灰份不超过50%时,垃圾可以作为一般可燃性生活垃圾来处理,在此前提下,本发明的发明者对皂土粉末在宠物垃圾处理材料中的混合量进行了研究。结果发现,核芯部分的组成以50-80wt%纸粉,20-50wt%皂土粉和1-10wt%吸水性聚合物为宜,而表层部分则以5-30wt%纸粉,50-90wt%皂土粉,1-20wt%羧甲基纤维素和1-20wt%淀粉为宜。
另一方面,因为本发明的宠物垃圾处理材料以纸管作为纸粉的原料,所以必定含有乙酸聚乙烯树脂。这会降低吸水性。
但是,因为本发明纸粉的纤维间毛糙性很小,颗粒内的纤维之间黏结程度小,使得皂土粉和吸水性聚合物接触水分后很容易溶胀。
当只有皂土粉与吸水性聚合物相作用时,相邻颗粒在接触水分时凝聚成块的黏结性并不高。但是,因为表层部分含有纸粉,纸粉在渗入皂土粉和淀粉时也会引起溶胀,促进相邻颗粒形成一种黏结结构,可以在接触水分后相当长的时间内保持强黏结能力。
为了平衡和加强上述效果,表层内纸粉的黏结性和密度必须低于核芯部分的纸粉。为此,将颗粒制成含核芯和表层的双层结构,核芯含05-800wt%纸粉,表层含5-30wt%纸粉。
实施例1
第一阶段,用锤式碎纸机将用于卷绕新闻纸之类长材料的纸管粗辗成约10cm2的纸屑,再在第二阶段粉碎成大小为第一阶段十分之一的纸屑。然后,用剪式碎纸机将这些纸屑粉碎成直径约1mm的纸粉。
如此获得的纸粉的纤维毛糙性极小,不会相互缠结。
纸粉,皂土粉与吸水性聚合物的混合比是70%,20%和10%。用已知造粒技术将混合好的粉末形成颗粒。即,例如,从上方倒入预定量的水,同时落下预定量的混合好的粉末材料,如此来制造粒种。粒种落在一个转盘上,因离心力向外飞散,只收集能够通过转盘和外壁之间空隙的那些颗粒,由此获得所需量的核芯颗粒。
在所需量的核芯颗粒上喷洒聚乙烯醇溶液(PVA)。然后,将纸粉,皂土粉,CMC和淀粉以30%,50%,10%和10%的比例混合成混合材料。将如此获得的混合材料与核芯颗粒混合,在核芯颗粒外包裹上一层由纸粉,皂土粉,CMC和淀粉混合物构成的表层,由此形成所需量的颗粒。
适当干燥如此获得的颗粒,过滤收集2至6mm大小的颗粒。实施例2
核芯部分纸粉,皂土粉和吸水性聚合物的混合比是50wt%纸粉,49wt%皂土粉和1wt%吸水性聚合物。而表层的纸粉,皂土粉,CMC和淀粉混合比是30tw%纸粉,58wt%皂土粉,10wt%CMC和2wt%淀粉。用实施例1的方法获得所需量的产品。实施例3
核芯部分纸粉,皂土粉和吸水性聚合物的混合比是50wt%纸粉,35wt%皂土粉和5wt%吸水性聚合物。而表层的纸粉,皂土粉,CMC和淀粉混合比是10tw%纸粉,83wt%皂土粉,3wt%CMC和4wt%淀粉。用实施例1的方法获得所需量的产品。
如前所述,因为本发明的宠物垃圾处理材料是用纸粉、皂土粉、CMC和淀粉混合物形成的表层包裹以纸粉、皂土粉和吸水性聚合材料混合物形成的核芯所形成的,所以,当表层接触水分时,皂土粉和吸水性聚合材料很容易引起溶胀。因为表层含有纸粉,纸粉在渗入皂土粉和淀粉时也会引起溶胀,促进相邻颗粒形成一种黏结结构,可以在接触水分后相当长的时间内保持强黏结能力。
因为核芯部分含50-80wt%纸粉,表层含5-30wt%纸粉,当表层部分纸粉内纤维间的黏结性比核芯部分的纸粉低因而密度也较低时,上述效果更显著。
因为颗粒大小在2至6mm之间,使得残留灰份不超过50%,宠物垃圾因此可以当作可燃性生活垃圾来处置。
因为以用于卷绕新闻纸之类长材料的纸管作为纸粉原料,所以可以低原料成本制得纸粉。而且,因为纸粉的总吸水面积较大,所以可以保持足够的吸水能力,这样,吸收水分后,只有吸收水分的部分会形成小的结块,提供了很经济的宠物垃圾处理材料。
因为纸粉是通过锤式碎纸机粗辗和剪式碎纸机精辗产生的,所得纸粉的纤维毛糙性很小,不会相互缠结。而且,还易于将纸粉与皂土粉,吸水性聚合物,淀粉等其它粉末混合均匀。由此可以避免现有技术中粉末干混时易产生的静电,有助于粉末混合均匀。
虽然,以上例举了本发明的实施方式,但是本领域熟练技术人员必需明白,可以对以上所述进行各种改变,省略和添加,只要不偏离本发明的宗旨和范围。所以,不能认为本发明局限于以上具体的实施方式,而应当包括所有可能的实施方式,只要包涵在权利要求所描述的特征及其对等特征所界定的范围内。
Claims (5)
1.一种宠物垃圾处理材料,由纸粉、皂土粉和吸水性聚合物混合物形成的核芯包以纸粉、皂土粉、羧甲基纤维素和淀粉混合物形成的表层构成。
2.根据权利要求1所述的宠物垃圾处理材料,其中核芯部分纸粉、皂土粉和吸水性聚合物的混合比是50-80wt%纸粉,20-50wt%皂土粉和1-10wt%吸水性聚合物,表层部分纸粉,皂土粉,羧甲基纤维素和淀粉的混合比是5-30wt%纸粉,50-90wt%皂土粉,1-20wt%羧甲基纤维素和1-20wt%淀粉。
3.根据权利要求1所述的宠物垃圾处理材料,其中颗粒大小为2-6mm,燃烧后的灰份不超过50%。
4.根据权利要求1所述的宠物垃圾处理材料,所述的纸粉是以用来卷绕新闻纸等长材料的纸管为原料制备的。
5.根据权利要求1所述的宠物垃圾处理材料,所述的纸粉是通过锤式碎纸机粗辗和剪式碎纸机精辗制备的。
