Description
技术领域
本发明涉及防穿孔密封剂用橡胶组合物以及具有粘结密封层的充气轮胎,更详细地说,涉及用于生成具有防穿孔用的合适粘性的密封剂的橡胶组合物,以及在轮胎本体内具有通过对该橡胶组合物进行热处理获得的海绵状的粘性密封剂层的充气轮胎及其制造方法。
背景技术
现有技术中,作为对行走中踩踏钉子等时轮胎穿孔的应对方式,提出有(1)在轮胎内部预先插入了刚性部的漏气保用轮胎、(2)在穿孔时从空气阀向轮胎内部注入液态修理液以阻塞孔穴的方法、(3)在制作轮胎时预先在轮胎内表面层压粘性密封剂的方法等的方案。
但是,(1)的漏气保用轮胎,由于刚性物而增加了重量,存在乘车舒适度也变差的问题。(2)的注入修理液的方法在变重的问题上比(1)要小,但其存在的问题是:在穿孔时、司机必须到车外实施注入操作。
对于上述(1)和(2),(3)方法的优点是:解决了如(1)那样的变重的问题,而且也不用如(2)那样在穿孔时人来实施注入操作,可自行封闭。
作为比(1)或(2)具有优点的(3)的方法,在特开平53-55802号公报中提出了通过在轮胎内表面上设置在聚异丁烯中添加了过氧化物而形成的橡胶组合物,并使其在轮胎硫化时热分解,由此获得粘性密封剂的方案。
但是在该公报记载的技术中,用过氧化物使聚异丁烯热分解获得粘性密封剂,除了促进聚异丁烯分解外,作为粘结剂配合的液状聚丁烯本身也被过氧化物分解,使密封剂的粘结性大大下降。因此,在轮胎内表面上设置该密封剂时,存在不仅粘结性下降,而且对贯穿到密封剂中的钉子等的包覆性变差、密封性变差的问题。
发明的公开
本发明的目的是提供一种防穿孔密封剂用橡胶组合物,其中在对过氧化物可分解的聚合物和过氧化物的组合物进行热处理生成粘性密封剂时,可形成海绵状粘性密封层,而且可使该密封剂具有合适的粘性。本发明还提供在轮胎本体内具有通过对该橡胶组合物进行热处理获得的粘性密封剂层的充气轮胎及其制造方法。
形成该海绵状密封剂层的同时使该密封剂具有合适的粘性用的防穿孔密封剂用橡胶组合物是一种这样的组合物,其包括95~50重量份过氧化物可分解的聚合物、5~50重量份过氧化物可交联的聚合物、以及相对于100重量份该过氧化物可分解的聚合物和过氧化物可交联的聚合物为0.2~20重量份的过氧化物。
而且,具有优异防穿孔性能的充气轮胎是一种在轮胎本体内具有通过对橡胶组合物热处理获得的粘性密封剂层的充气轮胎,该橡胶组合物包括95~50重量份过氧化物可分解的聚合物、5~50重量份过氧化物可交联的聚合物、以及相对于100重量份该过氧化物可分解的聚合物和过氧化物可交联的聚合物为0.2~20重量份的过氧化物。
另外,在对橡胶组合物进行热处理而在轮胎本体内形成粘性密封剂层时,通过同时实施所述橡胶组合物的热处理和其它构件的硫化可有效地制造该充气轮胎,其中该橡胶组合物包括95~50重量份过氧化物可分解的聚合物、5~50重量份过氧化物可交联的聚合物、以及相对于100重量份该过氧化物可分解的聚合物和过氧化物可交联的聚合物为0.2~20重量份的过氧化物。

实施发明的最佳形式
以下对本发明作详细说明。首先,本发明的特点在于在特定范围内并用过氧化物可分解的聚合物和过氧化物可交联的聚合物。这样,如果在过氧化物存在下加热本发明的橡胶组合物,则同时发生过氧化物可分解聚合物的分解和过氧化物可交联聚合物的交联。此外,随着过氧化物可分解聚合物的分解,将产生低分子量烯烃气体。由此,该橡胶组合物由于交联性聚合物形成网状而成为海绵状。另一方面,该海绵由于过氧化物可分解聚合物的分解而具有合适的粘性。结果,所得海绵状粘性密封剂除了可赋予优异的防穿孔性能,还可以实现使轮胎本身重量的轻量化。
在本发明中,过氧化物可分解聚合物是指在过氧化物的存在下通过加热而分解并呈橡胶状粘结的聚合物。该聚合物的代表例可举出聚异丁烯、聚丙烯等。其中最优选使用聚异丁烯。这里,所述的聚异丁烯包括少量共聚了异戊二烯等的聚异丁烯。在聚合的情况下,通常使用饱和度在2.2摩尔%或其以下的聚异丁烯。
另外,本发明所述的过氧化物可交联聚合物指的是在添加过氧化物并加热时而进行交联的聚合物。作为代表例可举出,天然橡胶、苯乙烯丁二烯橡胶(SBR)、丁二烯橡胶(BR)、丁腈橡胶(NBR)、乙烯-丙烯-二烯三元共聚物(EPDM)等。
此外,橡胶组合物中的过氧化物的配合量,相对于100重量份过氧化物可分解的聚合物和过氧化物可交联的聚合物必须为0.2~20重量份。当小于0.2重量份时,聚异丁烯等过氧化物可分解聚合物不能充分分解,过氧化物可交联聚合物的交联不能充分进行,因此不能充分地发挥出防穿孔效果。而超过20重量份时,添加量过多,分解过度,粘性组合物的粘度大大降低,不能获得充分的防穿刺效果。
作为过氧化物,可举出过氧化苯甲酰、对氯代过氧化苯甲酰等的酰基过氧化物类、甲乙酮过氧化物等的酮过氧化物类、过乙酸叔丁基酯、过氧化苯甲酸叔丁基酯、过氧化邻苯二甲酸叔丁基酯等的过氧酸酯类、过氧化二枯基、过氧化苯甲酸二叔丁基酯、1,3-二(叔丁基过氧化异丙基)苯等的烷基过氧化物类、过氧化氢叔丁基等的氢过氧化物类等,特别优选过氧化二枯基。
在本发明生成粘性密封剂时使用的橡胶组合物中,根据需要,可添加为促进过氧化物引起的聚合物的分解的环烷酸钴等催化剂,或添加炭黑、二氧化硅等的无机填料,或添加聚丁烯等粘合剂,或添加芳香族操作油、环烷酸类操作油、石蜡类操作油等的塑化剂。但由于粘土妨碍过氧化物的分解效果,因此不适宜添加。
此外,粘性密封层的厚度优选为1~8mm,更优选为1~4mm。厚度小于1mm时,防穿刺效果下降,厚于8mm时,轮胎重量增加,因此不优选。
以下参照附图对本发明的轮胎构成进行详细说明。图1是本发明充气轮胎的一个例子,显示的是子午线半剖面。1为胎面部,2为侧壁部、3为胎圈部。在轮胎内侧配置有胎体层4,其两端部装架在左右一对胎圈芯部5,5之间。在外胎面部1的胎体层4的外围侧上设置有带束层6。在胎体层4的内侧配置有衬里层7。衬里层7对应于胎面部1的位置的内侧配置有海绵状的粘性密封剂层8,在该粘性密封剂层8的更内侧处配置有橡胶保护层10。
衬里层7一般使用非通气性优异的丁基橡胶,但是也可以使用热塑性树脂薄膜。橡胶保护层10可有效地在轮胎内表面整体均匀地保持粘性密封剂层。其厚度优选为0.5~2.0mm。该橡胶保护层10由天然橡胶、BR、SBR等形成。
这种结构的充气轮胎的制造方法是,在通常充气轮胎的制造工序中,在未硫化的轮胎内表面上配置一种橡胶组合物,通过同时实施该橡胶组合物的热处理和其它构件的硫化反应,由上述橡胶组合物热分解和交联反应在轮胎本体内形成具有合适粘性的海绵状粘性密封剂层,其中橡胶组合物由95~50重量份过氧化物可分解的聚合物、5~50重量份过氧化物可交联的聚合物、以及相对于100重量份该过氧化物可分解的聚合物和过氧化物可交联的聚合物为0.2~20重量份的过氧化物构成。此时,如果在该密封层的内表面上设置橡胶保护层,则可有效地在轮胎内表面上全面均匀地保持粘性密封剂层。
在通常的充气轮胎制造工序中,作为向轮胎内侧加压的方法,可在插入气囊的状态下实施硫化,但在本发明中优选在硫化完成时,将气囊保持在仅由粘性密封层厚度增加量所致的回缩位置处以使粘性密封层的厚度增加至预定厚度。由此,可均匀控制粘性密封层的厚度。
即,上述粘性密封剂层是由于聚合物的分解而产生气体,在硫化完成时发泡的层,因此如果急剧地使气囊回缩时,粘性密封层的厚度可能会不均匀。因此,通过对气囊减压,仅在半径方向上保持仅仅是回缩的状态,由此可使粘性密封层以形成均匀厚度的方式发泡。例如,粘性密封剂层的初期厚度为t1(mm),而其目标厚度为t2(mm)时,在硫化完成时,气囊的半径R只要处于仅回缩由粘性密封剂层的厚度增加量(t2-t1)的状态即可。在将气囊保持在仅仅是缩回的位置处时,其保持时间为10~120秒即可。
根据本发明的具有粘性密封剂层的充气轮胎的防穿孔效果,可由以下方式获得。如图2所示,钉子9从外胎面部1经过内部衬垫层7贯穿至轮胎内侧的粘性密封剂层8时,该橡胶保护层10上浮成帐篷状,同时内表面的粘性密封剂层8以与钉子9紧密粘结的状态将其包围,进行密封,因此没有空气泄漏。此外,在由高速行走时的离心力将钉子9拔出时,包围着钉子9周围的粘性密封剂层8被脱入到外胎面部1的贯通孔中,进行密封,因此不会发生空气泄漏。
[实施例]
以下通过列举实施例,对本发明作具体说明。另外,实施例和比较例中的粘结性按照以下测定方法进行评价。
将SS400(与钉子同样制得的)制成的铁杆(14φ=154mm2)以1g/mm2的面压静止地与粘结面相接触,测定1分钟后的剥离力。在本发明中该剥离力在40Kpa或其以上时,判定为实用级。
实施例1
采用具有以下组成的密封剂用橡胶组合物,在160℃下硫化20分钟,制造出具有粘性密封剂层的充气轮胎,使得轮胎尺寸为205/65R15、粘性密封剂层的厚度为3mm、橡胶保护层的厚度为1mm。

过氧化物(过氧化二枯基) 15
通过目视所得轮胎的粘性密封剂层的海绵形成状态,以及由前述方法测定评价粘结性。其结果总结在表1中。对于表1的海绵形成情况,“◎”表示形成良好的海绵状,“○”表示形成海绵状,“×”表示几乎不存在海绵状。
实施例2
除了将实施例1中的聚异丁烯的配合量改变为65重量份、作为交联性聚合物的天然橡胶的配合量改变为35重量份以外,采用与实施例1一样的方式形成粘性密封剂层。结果总结在表1中。
比较例1
除了将实施例1中的聚异丁烯的配合量改变为98重量份、作为交联性聚合物的天然橡胶的配合量改变为2重量份以外,采用与实施例1一样的方式形成粘性密封剂层。结果总结在表1中。
比较例2
除了将实施例1中的聚异丁烯的配合量改变为45重量份、作为交联性聚合物的天然橡胶的配合量改变为55重量份以外,采用与实施例1一样的方式形成粘性密封剂层。结果总结在表1中。
实施例3
除了采用50重量份聚丙烯代替作为过氧化物可分解的聚合物的聚异丁烯,用50重量份EPDM50代替作为交联性聚合物的天然橡胶以外,采用与实施例1一样的方式形成粘性密封剂层。结果总结在表1中。
以上对本发明的优选实施形式进行了详细说明,但是应当理解在不脱离所附权利要求所规定的本发明精神和范围的限度内,可对本发明作出各种改变、代替和置换。

产业上的可利用性
本发明通过以特定比例并用过氧化物可分解的聚合物和过氧化物可交联的聚合物,可在过氧化物存在下通过热处理形成具有合适粘度的海绵状粘性密封剂,因此除了可赋予轮胎优异的防穿孔性能,还可使轮胎本身的重量变轻。
Claims (5)
1.一种防穿孔密封剂用橡胶组合物,该组合物包括:95~50重量份选自聚异丁烯和聚丙烯的至少一种的过氧化物可分解的聚合物、5~50重量份选自天然橡胶、苯乙烯丁二烯橡胶、丁二烯橡胶、丁腈橡胶、乙烯-丙烯-二烯三元共聚物的至少一种的过氧化物可交联的聚合物、以及相对于100重量份该过氧化物可分解的聚合物和过氧化物可交联的聚合物为0.2~20重量份的过氧化物。
2.一种充气轮胎,在其轮胎本体内具有通过对橡胶组合物热处理获得的粘性密封剂层,该橡胶组合物包括95~50重量份选自聚异丁烯和聚丙烯的至少一种的过氧化物可分解的聚合物、5~50重量份选自天然橡胶、苯乙烯丁二烯橡胶、丁二烯橡胶、丁腈橡胶、乙烯-丙烯-二烯三元共聚物的至少一种的过氧化物可交联的聚合物、以及相对于100重量份该过氧化物可分解的聚合物和过氧化物可交联的聚合物为0.2~20重量份的过氧化物。
3.如权利要求2所述的充气轮胎,其中粘性密封剂层在轮胎内部衬垫层的更内侧,进而在该粘性密封剂层的内表面上具有橡胶保护层。
4.一种充气轮胎的制造方法,其特征为,在对橡胶组合物进行热处理而在轮胎本体内形成粘性密封剂层时,通过同时实施所述橡胶组合物的热处理和其它构件的硫化而进行制造,其中该橡胶组合物包括95~50重量份选自聚异丁烯和聚丙烯的至少一种的过氧化物可分解的聚合物、5~50重量份选自天然橡胶、苯乙烯丁二烯橡胶、丁二烯橡胶、丁腈橡胶、乙烯-丙烯-二烯三元共聚物的至少一种的过氧化物可交联的聚合物、以及相对于100重量份该过氧化物可分解的聚合物和过氧化物可交联的聚合物为0.2~20重量份的过氧化物。
5.如权利要求4所述的充气轮胎的制造方法,其中在将气囊作为向轮胎内侧的加压手段而插入的状态下实施硫化的充气轮胎制造方法中,在硫化完成后,将气囊保持在如下位置,该位置为仅由粘性密封剂层厚度增加量所致的气囊回缩的位置,以便使粘性密封剂层的厚度增加至预定厚度。
