本发明涉及一种电缆插塞连接器,它配有一个绝缘体,并配有多条被固定在此绝缘体中的电接触道,接触道的在插入侧的端头是作为接触元件设计的,以之用于和一个对应插头实现电接触,接触道的朝另一方向的端头则是作为供一电缆芯线用的焊接接头设计的。
这一类型的插塞连接器是大家熟悉的并感兴趣的,尤其是联系到众多的计算机生产厂商所追求的标准化USB(通用串行总线)概念来说,更是如此。在这种新的总线系统中,主要涉及到,外围设备与PC(印刷电路)的连接不再象以往那样经过带分开的且往往不相同的插接系统的各并行的接头实现,而是将外围设备基本上依串联方式连接到一条共同的总线上,该总线导线经过PC(个人计算机)的外壳上的一个标准化的插座而与PC(个人计算机)的一个印刷电路板(母板)直接相连接。印刷电路板插座的插接面是基本上按一规范加以确定的,而且具有四个在一平面上彼此并列的带形接触簧,在总线插头(插塞)插入时,这些接触簧便与设置在插头内的四个彼此并列的接触道或接触轨协同作用,以实现电接触。四个接触簧被安置在一个绝缘体上的套形插头中,该绝缘体基本上是一个具有矩形断面的塑料舌形件,这些接触簧在其后部弯折成向下分立的小腿,可以插入印刷电路板的接触孔中。插头和对应插头通常都配有一个金属质的屏蔽外壳。在此屏蔽外壳的顶盖部和底部分别配置两个定位钩,这些定位钩啮入相配的对应插头的屏蔽外壳上的凹口中,从而在拔出插塞时提供保持力,并实现接地接触。
以往的电缆插塞连接器的焊接接头一般都设计成扁平的从绝缘体自由地伸出的金属片元件,它们根本不被绝缘体接触,或者说不由绝缘体承载。这种已知的解决办法,无论从结构上说还是从热工技术上说,都不是没有缺点的。
本发明的任务是,针对所述及的缺点改进已知的电缆插塞连接器。
就说明书中开头提到的那种电缆插塞连接器来说,本发明的这一任务是通过下述措施加以解决的:焊接接头具有V-形横截面,在它的背向电缆芯线的背面用塑料进行压力注塑包封,使之埋在绝缘体中。
下面将根据两个实施例并结合附图对本发明做更详细的说明。

图2图1所示的电缆插塞连接器的尚未从其背面周围喷射塑料的焊接接头前视图。
从图1中可以看出喷上了塑料的绝缘体1,在此绝缘体上例如埋置了四条彼此并列的接触道2(在图中只能看出三条)。按所选用的表示法,在图的下部略去了接触道的接触元件。
从图2中可以最清楚地看出依本发明的焊接接头的V-形。焊接接头的V-形具有如下优点:就电缆芯线来说,在焊接时存在一个较大的润温表面,在这里我们必须设想到在图1中从上看、在图2中从下看沿纵向将电缆芯线插在焊接接头4中。实际上,电缆芯线完全被焊锡所包围。此外,在焊接过程中,V-形决定着电缆芯线的有利的预先定位。另外,在为绝缘体1喷塑料时,V-形还使得焊接接头4的埋置或者在其周围用塑料来压力注塑包封容易做到。如从图1中可以清楚地看出的,可以毫无困难地将焊接接头4如此埋置在绝缘体1中,即使得焊接接头的背向电缆芯线的背面完全被塑料所包围。这种埋置带来的效果是,使接触道2在绝缘体1中的机械稳定性和固定性得到改善。但最重要的还是这种埋置决定着在焊接过程中从焊接接头4至其周围的热传导相对地更好。上述情况从制造工艺上说是有利的,例如在焊接过程中可以借此防止绝缘体1的熔化。
有利的做法是,在焊接接头4的朝电缆一侧的端头上配置一个移开的接片3,以此使接触道端部特别牢固地固定在塑料中,从而还可以附带地确保防止在焊接过程中例如因热应力造成的位移。

Claims (1)

1.配有一个绝缘体(1)和多条被固定在绝缘体(1)中的电接触道(2)的电缆插塞连接器,其插入侧的端头是作为接触元件设计的,借以实现与对应插头的电接触,而其相反一侧的端头则是作为供电缆芯线用的焊接接头(4)设计的,其特征在于:焊接接头(4)具有V-形横截面,而且以它的背向电缆芯线的背面周围用塑料来压力注塑包封,从而被埋置在绝缘体(1)中。
