Abstract

Description

密封装置
本发明总的说来涉及一密封装置,尤其是涉及用于将包装材料的塑料层密封起来以形成一密封结构的装置和方法。
包装盒、例如具有方块形状的用于盛装诸如牛奶和软饮料的流质食物的那些包装盒,是用包装机械来制造的。这些机械将一连续移动的由柔性叠层构成的薄带形包装材料形成一圆筒形状,然后填充所需的流质食物产品。薄带形包装材料是由一包装材料制造机制造并放置在一卷筒上。然后将该卷筒安装在包装机械内,在该包装机械内通过使用设置在其内几个位置的驱动机构而使薄带形包装材料从卷筒展出并在包装机械内按一定的路线运行。包装材料在包装机械内沿纵向密封,以形成圆筒形状。为此,包装材料具有一叠层结构,该叠层结构是由一纸基层、位于该纸基层每一侧的涂层膜、和(如果需要的话)设置在纸基层与膜之间的铝箔层构成。
当包装材料在包装机械内向下传输时,从上供应流质食物来填充圆筒形包装材料内部。接着,以一定间隔从两侧沿横向挤压并密封包装材料,以形成相互连接的初级包装盒,这些包装盒具有所需的形状,例如枕头形、袋形等。
接着,切割横向延伸的被密封部分,并且沿预先形成的折痕折叠每一所得到的初级包装盒,以形成具有一定形状的一包装盒。这样,就形成了许多包装盒,每一包装盒内装有一定量的流质食物。
为了沿纵向或横向密封包装材料,将包装材料上的塑料膜彼此相互面对。通过诸如一感应器之类的一密封装置使包装材料内的铝箔产生热,并施加压力以将塑料膜热-熔化并粘合起来。
图2-4表示使用传统的密封装置进行密封过程的各个阶段。如图所示,使用了一圆筒形包装材料11并且将薄带形包装材料51、52彼此相面对地放置在一密封区S内。每一包装材料51、52为一叠层结构,该叠层结构是由一纸基层54、一位于该纸基层54内侧的铝箔层55和一位于该铝箔层55内侧的例如聚乙烯膜层56构成。虽未专门说明,但该纸基层54的外侧面是涂覆一层塑料的例如聚乙烯。两个包装材料51、52的聚乙烯部分56通过热熔合粘合起来。
传统的机械采用一密封装置来密封和切割包装材料11。该密封装置设有彼此相对设置的切割爪和加热密封爪(其具体细节未示出)。每一切割爪设有一对切割轨道61,而每一加热密封爪设有一对密封块62。一切割器(未示出)设置在两切割轨道61之间形成的间隙内。
切割轨道61包括一对立的橡胶元件63,其沿切割轨道61延伸,而密封块62设有一感应器65,其相对于对立元件63设置。感应器65沿密封块62延伸并设有向切割爪延伸的一凸起66。在感应器65内形成有一冷却通道67,以通过冷却介质流过冷却通道67来控制感应器65的温度。
在图2所示的密封处理的第一阶段,包装材料11放置在密封块62与切割轨道61之间,随后切割爪与加热密封爪移动以彼此靠拢。在图3所示的随后的阶段,切割爪与加热密封爪进一步相对移动,并且由感应器65与对立元件63将包装材料11的密封部分压实和变形。如图3所示,由一电源装置(未示出)施加一高频电压,以由感应电流使铝箔55产生热。结果,包装材料的彼此相面对的、并且被挤压在成对的铝箔55之间的、成对的聚乙烯部分56被加热并且密封区S内的聚乙烯部分56被熔合。结果,通过热熔合将包装材料11粘合起来。
对于诸如上述的传统密封装置,业已发现熔化的聚乙烯56会过度地流出包装材料11的密封区并且从密封区S流止到切割器侧上的一区域AR1以及流止到流质食物侧上的一区域AR2。结果,用于在密封区S内热熔合的聚乙烯56的量减少了,从而不能获得合适的粘合强度。因此,流质食物可能会泄漏。此外,从密封区S流到流质食物侧上的区域AR2的聚乙烯56可能会由流质食物而迅速冷却,将会固化并且会粘附在初级包装盒的内侧表面上,这样可能会在填充和密封之后进行的成型过程中在密封区S的附近产生裂隙。
如果为了防止聚乙烯材料56过度地流出密封区S外而降低感应热能时,聚乙烯材料56通常不会熔化到所需的程度,因此不能获得足够的粘合强度。
总体说来,有这样一种需要,即提供一种不易产生如上所述的传统密封装置的同样的缺点、缺陷和问题的密封装置。特别是,希望提供一种密封装置,其能防止熔化的塑料流出密封区外,即使为了增大密封强度而增大感应热能也如此。类似地,也希望提供一种密封装置,它能在密封区获得合适的粘合强度并防止在密封区附近产生裂隙。
根据前述,本发明的密封装置包括一密封块和相对于该密封块设置的一切割条。在密封块内设置有一对隔开的感应器,每一感应器部分地暴露在密封块的前表面之上并且设有一第一压印部分,用于在一密封操作过程中压印包装材料。在切割条内安装有一对隔开的对立元件,每一对立元件相对于感应器之一设置,以允许包装材料被夹持在对立元件与感应器之间。一电压提供装置向感应器施加一高频电压。至少一个感应器或对立元件设有一第二压印部分,该第二压印部分设置在对应于包装材料的比离密封区更靠近流质食物的部分的一位置上,以在密封时压印包装材料,从而防止熔化的塑料从密封区流出到流质食物。
按照本发明的另一方面,提供了一种用于在圆筒形包装材料内产生一密封区的方法,该包装材料具有一最外的塑料层和一相邻的铝箔层并且装有流体,该方法包括将圆筒形包装材料放置在一切割条与一密封块之间(的步骤)。密封块包括至少一个嵌置在密封条内的感应器,该感应器的一部分暴露在密封块的前表面上并且设有向切割条延伸的一第一压印部分。切割条包括至少一个对立元件,该对立元件相对于感应器设置。该方法还包括压印位于切割条与密封条之间的包装材料(的步骤),以将塑料层的相对的部分合在一起并且使圆筒形包装材料的一部分沿一密封区变形,该密封区设置在对应于第一压印部分的位置,然后向感应器施加高频电压,以在铝箔层内产生热并熔化相邻的塑料层,从而通过密封区内的热熔合将圆筒形包装材料的塑料层的相对的部分粘合在一起。也将包装材料的比离密封区更靠近流体的部分压印到一起,以防止熔化的塑料从密封区流向流体。

首先参照图1,一薄带型包装材料10是作为一卷筒21安装在一包装机械内,该包装材料是由柔性层料构成的,而柔性层料则是由一包装材料制造机制造。该包装材料10由设置在包装机械内几个位置的各种驱动机构(未特别示出)卷出并以设定线路运行。包装材料10是由叠层形成,例如按从内到外分别为一聚乙烯层、一铝箔层、一纸基层和一聚乙烯层的顺序进行叠置。
包装材料10借助于一导引装置24被导引,而由一密封装置(未特别示出)在纵向密封并形成一圆筒形的包装材料11。当圆筒形包装材料11向下输送时,经一填充管16从上供给流质食物,以填充包装材料11的内部。接着,由一切割爪和一加热密封爪(两者在图5中都未特别示出)从两侧横向地挤压包装材料11,从而沿横向以一定的间隔密封该圆筒形包装材料,以形成枕头形的初级包装盒23。
接着,切割下横向延伸的密封部分,以分成各个枕头形的初级包装盒23。沿预先压印的折痕线将所得到的初级包装盒折叠起来,以形成一特定的或所需的形状,并且作为若干包装盒之一而完成整个工作,其中每一包装盒内装有一定量的流质食物。
参照图1和图6,包装材料11连续地向下输送并以一定的间隔由两个密封切割单元14、15挤压,从而将塑料层的相对的部分挤到一起并在横向上密封以形成一带状密封区S。然后切断该密封区S以形成一初级包装盒23,其可装有一定量的流质食物12。为此,密封切割单元14、15分别设有切割爪14a、15a和加热密封爪14b、15b。
为提高密封装置的处理速度,设有两套具有相同结构的密封切割单元14、15并且这两套密封切割单元以彼此错开一半周期的处理时间轮流地操作。
在每一切割爪14a、15a的前端设有一切割条18。在每一加热密封爪14b、15b的前端设有一密封块或感应绝热器19。切割爪14a、15a与加热密封爪14b、15b随着切割条18与密封块19向包装材料移动,以从两侧挤压包装材料11并由此使包装材料的相对的塑料表面彼此接触,且在横向密封它们。
在每一切割爪14a、15a的中央,横向地设有一扁平形切割器21,该切割器可根据需要而伸出或缩回。当切割器21伸出时,其被设置成切割密封区S的中央或中间部分。为了使切割器21在伸出与缩回位置之间进行所需的移动,在切割器21的后端设有一缸筒22。通过向缸筒22内供给或者从其中排出工作介质,切割器21可伸出或缩回。
在圆筒形的包装材料的任一侧也设有成对的翼片21a、21b,它们被设计成可相对于切割爪14a、14a和加热密封爪14b、15b自由摆动地转动。翼片21a、21b适于环绕、导引和使包装材料形成为一大致矩形形状。
在图6中,密封切割单元14位于密封切割起始位置,此处切割爪14a与加热密封爪14b向包装材料11移动,以从两侧挤压它并使包装材料11的相对的表面彼此接触。当密封切割单元14下移时,随着挤压和夹持包装材料11,就熔合并形成了密封区S。
图6所示的密封切割单元15位于密封切割端部位置,此处密封切割单元的切割器21向密封区S移动,以切割密封区S的中央或中间部分,并且从包装材料11上分离初级包装盒23。一旦切割了密封区S的中央,密封切割单元15的切割爪15a与加热密封爪15b就缩回,转动并上升到密封切割起始位置。当密封切割单元15移向密封切割起始位置,并且切割爪15a与加热密封爪15b移向密封区S时,加热切割单元14的切割器21就移向密封区S,以切割密封区S的中央或中间部分,从而从包装材料11上分离初级包装盒23。
虽然未专门示出,密封切割单元14、15设有缸筒机构,它们被设置成将切割爪14a(或15a)与加热密封爪14b(或15b)拽拉到一起,以在密封时施加所需的压力。在一短的时间周期后,去除切割爪14a(或15a)与加热密封爪14b(或15b)之间的压力,并且密封切割单元14、15到达密封切割端部位置。
图1表示有关切割条18与密封块19的各种特征。一对感应器或感应体31、32嵌装在密封块19内,使得每一感应器31、32的一部分暴露在密封块19的端面上。每一感应器31、32经一连接部件连接到一电源上。
在密封块19内形成有一沟槽38并且该槽位于两感应器31、32之间。该槽38沿密封块19延伸并且当切割器21伸出时,该槽用来容纳切割器21的前端。
每一感应器31、32分别形成有一升起的部分71、72,它们构成一第一压印部分。升起部分71、72向切割条18延伸并且设置在感应器31、32的纵向上。
切割条18设有成对的切割轨道73、74。切割器21适于在切割轨道73、74之间限定的一间隙75内移动。
每一切割轨道73、74设有一对立元件76、77,它们沿着切割轨道73、74延伸。每个对立元件76、77安装在相应切割轨道73、74的槽内。圆筒形包装材料11的密封区S由对立元件76、77压实。为此,对立元件76、77是由肖氏硬度大约为95的橡胶材料制造。另外,每一对立元件76、77具有面向密封块19的一前表面。如图1所述,每一对立元件的前表面是平坦的或平面的。
每一切割轨道73、74也设有用于将对立元件76、77夹持定位的第一夹持部分73a、74a和第二夹持部分73b、74b。每一第一夹持部分73a、74a具有朝密封块19延伸的一表面S1。该表面S1大体上垂直于密封块19的前表面。每一第二夹持部分73b、74b具有构成凸起73c、74c的倾斜表面S2、S3。每一凸起73c、74c指向切割器21的方向。
每一对立元件76、77分别具有一大体为一凸起形式的啮合-止动部分76a、77a。通过啮合-止动部分76a、77a与相应的凸起73c、74c的相互啮合,对立元件76、77被固定在相应的切割轨道73、74内。
对立元件76、77也设有构成第二压印部分的相应延伸部分76b、77b。这些延伸部分76b、77b沿着相应切割轨道73、74的前表面延伸。而且,延伸部分76b、77b从包装材料11的密封区S向流质食物12延伸,以压印包装材料11的比离密封区S更靠近流质食物12的部分。
当对立元件76、77压印包装材料11时,为防止延伸部分76b、77b偏转并且由此防止因这种偏转而使压印力减小,每一切割轨道73、74分别设有沿延伸部分76b、77b延伸的夹持部分73d、74d。
由于这一结构,当包装材料的相对的塑料或聚乙烯部分由升起部分71、72熔化并压印在一起时,熔化的塑料或聚乙烯不会从密封区S流出到流质食物12侧,因为延伸部分76b、77b压印包装材料11的比离密封区S更靠近流质食物12的部分。结果,确保了密封区S内加热熔合的塑料或者聚乙烯的量。这样,获得了合适的和所需的粘合强度。同时,防止了流质食物12泄漏。此外,在填充和密封后的成型过程中,防止了在密封区S的附近出现裂缝。
这种采用本发明的密封装置结构的进一步的优点是,由于延伸部分76b、77b将包装材料11的比离密封区S更靠近流质食物12的部分压印在一起,防止了流质食物12保留在密封区S内。因而,防止了流质食物12与熔化的塑料或聚乙烯的混合。结果,不会有害地降低密封的粘合强度。此外,虽然少量的塑料或聚乙烯可能会从包装材料11的密封区S流向切割器21,但该熔化的塑料或聚乙烯不会随流质食物12而冷却,因此不易出现裂缝。
感应器31、32连接到一电路或电压提供装置上,从而由电路产生的高频电压被施加到该感应器31、32上。图7给出了电路的示意图。一交流(AC)电源81产生三相交流电,一高压整流器电路82将由交流电源81产生的交流电压转换为直流(DC)电压。
由高压整流器电路82产生的直流电压DC被施加到一对振荡电路83、84上,这对振荡电路83、84产生高频脉冲。振荡电路83、84连接到一脉冲发生电路97上,该脉冲发生电路接收一定频率的脉冲。每一振荡电路83、84也连接到相应的高频电压转换电路85、86上,以产生高频电压,这些高频电压然后被施加到相应的感应器单元98、99上。在这种情况中,图7所示的感应器单元98、99被设置成与图6所示的密封切割单元14、15相对应,并且分别构成图1所示的感应器31、32。
当由高频电压转换电路85、86产生的高频电压被施加到感应器31、32上时,在感应器31、32与包装材料内的铝箔之间就形成随高频电压变化的一电场。结果,在铝箔内产生一涡旋电流,由涡旋电流的损失而产生热。
下面结合图8-10描述本发明的密封装置的操作,其中图8表示在密封操作第一阶段的密封装置,图9表示在密封操作第二阶段的密封装置,图10表示在密封操作第三阶段的密封装置。
图8-10总体上表示圆筒形包装材料11,也表示在密封区S彼此相面对的薄带形包装材料51、52。每一包装材料51、52为一种叠层结构,包括一纸基层54、位于纸基层54内侧表面上的一铝箔层55和位于铝箔层55内侧表面上的一塑料膜或层56,例如聚乙烯层。纸基层54的外侧表面也涂覆有一塑料层或膜,例如聚乙烯层,虽然该层没有特别地示出,以免附图过于详尽。通过热熔合将包装材料51、52的塑料或聚乙烯部分56粘合起来。
密封装置被设置成适于密封和切割包装材料11。该密封装置设有切割爪14a、15a和加热密封爪14b、15b,它们彼此相反对置,如图6所示。在切割爪14a、15a处设置有一切割轨道74,在加热密封爪14b、15b处设置有一密封块19。
切割轨道74设有沿其延伸的一对立元件77,而密封块19则包括相对于该对立元件77设置的一感应器32。在感应器32内设有一冷却流通道67,用于提供流过感应器的冷却流动介质。图10也表示了切割轨道74上的夹持部分74d。
在图8所示的密封操作的第一阶段,包装材料11放置在密封块19与切割轨道74之间。然后切割爪14a、15a与加热密封爪14b、15b彼此相对移动。
在图9所示的密封操作的第二阶段,切割爪14a、15a与加热密封爪14b、15b进一步彼此相对移动。这使包装材料11的密封区S被压实并且由感应器32与对立元件77而变形。
在图10所示的密封操作的第三阶段,从图7所示的高频电压转换电路86向感应器32施加一高频电压,以使铝箔55因感应电流而产生热。结果,夹置在成对的铝箔55之间的成对的塑料或聚乙烯部分56被加热。如图10所示,通过在密封区S内的热熔合而将包装材料11粘合起来。
在密封操作过程中,彼此相面对的塑料或聚乙烯部分56熔化并由上升部分71压合。这通常会使熔化的塑料或聚乙烯56向外流到密封区S以外。然而,由于延伸部分76b、77b将密封材料11的部分AR2压合一起,其中该部分是比离密封区S更靠近流质食物12的部分,故就防止了熔化的塑料或聚乙烯56从密封区S内向外流到流质食物12。图10所示的区域AR1表示了比离密封区S更靠近切割器21的区域。
本发明的密封装置的第二实施例示于图11。在该实施例中,感应器131、132具有一椭圆形或大致椭圆形的横截面形状,并且设置在与对立元件76、77的外边缘相比更靠近切割器21的位置。结果,在每一上升部分71、72与槽38之间沿密封块的前表面测量的相应距离L1短于在每一上升部分71、72与各对立元件76、77的最外边缘之间沿密封块前表面测量的相应距离L2。
结果,对立元件76、77的位于上升部分71、72(即上升部分71、72与相应的对立元件76、77相接触的地方)与对立元件76、77的最外边缘之间的部分的功能是用作第二压印部分,其压印包装材料11的比离密封区S更靠近流质食物12的部分。结果,熔化的塑料或聚乙烯56不会从密封区S流出到流质食物12。
按照图12所示的本发明的第三实施例,密封装置被设置成在面向对立元件76、77的密封块19的表面上各形成有一上升部分19a、19b,这些上升部分平行于感应器31、32设置。这些上升部分用作第二压印部分。当切割条18与密封块19移动以彼此靠拢时,上升部分19a、19b压印包装材料11的比离密封区S更靠近流质食物12的部分。结果,熔化的塑料或聚乙烯56不会从密封区S外流到流质食物12。
按照本发明的如上所述的密封装置包括以下部件的组合:密封块;嵌在该密封块内的感应器,其中每一感应器在密封块的表面上露出一部分并设有一第一压印部分,用于在密封时压印包装材料;用于挤压包装材料的对立元件;电压提供装置,其向感应器施加一高频电压。当从该电压提供装置向感应器施加高频电压时,感应电流使包装材料的铝箔产生热。结果,涂层包装材料的塑料材料被加热并由密封区S内的热熔合而粘合。
至少一个感应器和对立元件最好设有第二压印部分,其压印包装材料的比离密封区S更靠近流质食物12的部分。因此,即使包装材料的彼此相面对的塑料部分被第一压印部分熔化并压合,也可防止塑料从密封区外流到流质食物,因为第二压印部分压印包装材料的比离密封区更靠近流质食物的部分。因此,熔化的塑料不会流出密封区以外。即使为增大密封强度的目的而使感应热能增大,也是如此。因为这样防止了熔化的塑料外流,在密封区可获得合适的粘合强度,并且防止在密封区附近出现裂纹。
此外,在密封区进行热熔化的塑料的量可得以保持,因而密封区的粘合强度不会不希望地降低。即使通过增大由电压提供装置供给的高频电压而使用较高的粘合温度,或者使用较大的力来挤压包装材料,也可保持粘合强度。结果,通过缩短密封装置的操作周期而可进行高速处理工艺。
在上述说明书中已描述了本发明的原理、优选实施例及操作方式。但是,本发明所要保护的将不限于所述的实施例。而且,这里所描述的实施例应当被认为是示例性的而非限制性的。在不脱离本发明的构思(前提下),可进行变换和改变,以及进行等同的应用。因此,需特别声明的是,凡是落入权利要求书所限定的本发明构思范围内的所有这些变换、改型及等同物都包括在本发明的范围之内。

Claims (14)

1.一种用于在包装材料内产生一密封区的密封装置,其中该包装材料具有一塑料层并装有流质食物,该密封装置包括:
一具有一前表面的密封块;
嵌在该密封块内的感应器,每一感应器被部分地暴露在所述密封块的前表面上并设有第一压印部分,其用于在密封操作过程中压印包装材料;
一相对于每一感应器设置的对立元件,以允许包装材料被夹持在所述的对立元件与感应器之间;
电压提供装置,其用于向所述感应器施加一高频电压;及
至少一个所述的感应器或对立元件设有一第二压印部分,该第二压印部分设置在对应于包装材料的比离密封区更靠近流质食物的部分的一位置上,以用于在密封时压印包装材料,以防止熔化的塑料从密封区流出到流质食物。
2.如权利要求1所述的密封装置,其特征是:包括一对切割轨道,每一所述的对立元件设置在一相应的切割轨道内。
3.如权利要求2所述的密封装置,其特征是:每一切割轨道包括一第一夹持部分和一第二夹持部分,它们将各对立元件夹持定位在切割轨道上。
4.如权利要求3所述的密封装置,其特征是:每一第二夹持部分是由一对倾斜表面限定的一凸起结构。
5.如权利要求4所述的密封装置,其特征是:每一对立元件包括一啮合-止动部分,其将所述凸起啮合在相应的切割轨道上。
6.如权利要求2所述的密封装置,其特征是:所述切割轨道隔开安置并且设置在一切割条上,并包括设置在所述切割轨道之间的一槽结构,其中用于切割所述密封区的一切割器可在该槽内移动。
7.如权利要求6所述的密封装置,其特征是:每一对立元件具有一最外的边缘,每一感应器的第一压印部分与相应的对立元件的最外边缘之间的沿密封块的前表面测量的距离大于在每一感应器的第一压印部分与槽之间的沿密封块的前表面测量的距离。
8.如权利要求1所述的密封装置,其特征是:每一对立元件具有一第二压印部分。在对立元件的前表面上。
9.如权利要求1所述的密封装置,其特征是:每一第二压印部分为形成在密封块上的一升起的部分。
10.如权利要求1所述的密封装置,其特征是:所述第二压印部分形成对立元件之一的一个延伸部分。
11.一种在圆筒形包装材料内产生一密封区的方法,包括:
将圆筒形包装材料定位在一切割条与一密封块之间,其中该包装材料包括一最外的塑料层和一相邻的铝箔层并装有流体,所述密封块包括至少一个嵌置在所述密封条内的感应器,该感应器的一部分暴露在密封块的前表面上并感应器包括向切割条延伸的一第一压印部分,该切割条包括至少一个相对于感应器设置的对立元件,该对立元件具有一前表面;
压印位于密封块的前表面与对立元件的前表面之间的包装材料,以将塑料层的相对的部分合在一起并且使圆筒形包装材料的一部分沿一密封区变形,该密封区设置在对应于第一压印部分的位置;
向感应器施加高频电压,以在铝箔层内产生热并熔化相邻的塑料层,从而通过密封区内的热熔合将圆筒形包装材料的塑料层的相对的部分粘合在一起;
通过设置在密封块的前表面上或者对立元件的前表面上的一第二压印部分,将包装材料的比离密封区更靠近流体的部分压印在一起,以防止熔化的塑料层从密封区流出到流体内。
12.如权利要求11所述的方法,其特征是:将包装材料的比离密封区更靠近流体的部分压印在一起的步骤是在向感应器施加高频电压的过程中进行的。
13.如权利要求12所述的方法,其特征是:密封块包括一对隔开的嵌置在密封条内的感应器,切割条包括一对对立的元件,每一对立的元件相对于感应器之一设置,并且圆筒形包装材料被在切割条与密封条之间压印,以将塑料层的相对的部分合在一起并且在对应于每一感应器的第一压印部分的两个隔开的位置使圆筒形包装材料变形。
14.如权利要求11所述的方法,其特征是:将包装材料的比离密封区更靠近流体的部分压印在一起的步骤是通过设置在密封块上的升起的第二压印部分完成的。
