荧光体轮具备:基板(11),具有相互背向的第1主面及第2主面;荧光体层(12),设置于第1主面;及散热部件(30),由板材构成,与第2主面对置而配置,并且与基板(11)一起旋转;散热部件(30)具有:突出部(34),以朝向第2主面突出的方式设置在散热部件(30)的中央部,具有与第2主面相接的接触面;及多个鳍片,将除了该中央部以外的周边区域中的多个区域(32)剪切折起而被形成,突出部(34)确保在基板(11)与散热部件(30)之间一定的间隔,并且将基板(11)的热传导到散热部件(30)的周边区域,在多个区域(32)的每一个形成有多个鳍片中的两个鳍片(31A、31B),两个鳍片(31A、31B)被形成在该区域(32)的沿着散热部件(30)的旋转方向对置的边上。
