Background
Folliculitis and acne are main factors causing acnes, and acnes on the scalp often cause skin to be itchy, induce infection, cause red, swollen and itchy skin, possibly run into running water, seriously affect human health and bring about adverse effects on the appearance of the human body.
Greasy hair can cause excessive secretion of oil on scalp, block pores, and easily cause dandruff. The pores are blocked by grease, so that scalp cannot breathe normally, and dandruff is generated; scalp itch is easily caused by hair oil passing, scalp balance is lost due to accumulation of grease, scalp is stimulated, and then the scalp is scratched for a long time to damage the scalp, and even inflammation is caused; hair greasiness can cause hair follicle blockage, affect the growth cycle of hair, and lead the hair to become sparse and easy to fall off; the grease can also make the hair become sticky, increase friction between the hairs and accelerate the occurrence of alopecia.
Although the existing shampoo products are various, few shampoo products truly effective in inhibiting scalp acne and effectively controlling scalp grease are available. 1. scalp acne-removing effect test
Oily scalp, scalp easy to get oil, easy to get acne or folliculitis, and scalp with acne aged 20-35 male volunteers were randomly divided into 10 groups of 40 people. Volunteers did not use scalp products of similar efficacy two weeks before testing with the shampoo compositions 1-10 described above, and did not hair had been dyed, permed, bleached, straightened, etc. for one month. Volunteers in the test group used the above shampoo composition to wash their hair once every 2 days, with a duration of 5 times; the scalp was photographed before and after 5 consecutive uses of the shampoo composition, and the scalp acne improvement of each group of volunteers before and after the shampoo composition was evaluated by the same dermatologist. The evaluation criteria were: invalidation: the improvement of the skin damage of the patient is not obvious or the skin damage is aggravated; the method is effective: patient skin lesions are improved, but clear lesions are still visible; and (3) healing: the skin lesions of the patients completely resolved. The evaluation effect is shown in Table 1.
Table 1: scalp acne-removing effect test
As shown in the test results of the scalp acne-removing effect in Table 1, the shampoo composition provided by the invention has the advantages that the acne-removing cure rate reaches 40% and the effective rate reaches 95% after being used for 5 times, and the shampoo composition prepared by the invention has the high-efficiency acne-removing effect and gives the user excellent experience.
From the test results of the compositions 1 and 3-6, the amounts of the extract of the red pine leaves and the extract of the sweet wormwood herb in the compositions 3 and 4 are the same as the total amount of the extract of the sweet wormwood herb and the extract of the red pine leaves in the composition 1, but the test results show that the effect of the composition 1 is better, which shows that the combination of the extract of the sweet wormwood herb and the extract of the red pine leaves in the shampoo composition system of the invention can obviously increase the acne removing effect of the composition, and the two compositions show synergistic effect of mutual promotion on the acne removing effect of the composition. And when the dosage ratio of the two is (1-2): when the content is within the range of 1, the obtained shampoo composition has better acne removing effect.
From the test results of the compositions 1 and 7-10, the combination of the behenyl trimethyl ammonium methyl sulfate and the PPG-26-butanol polyether-26 in the shampoo composition can mutually promote so that the acne-removing active ingredients can be effectively delivered and exert an effect on the scalp, and the acne-removing effect of the composition is more excellent. And the mass ratio of the two is (0.8-1.5): 1, the acne-removing effect of the shampoo composition is more remarkable.
2. Test for controlling scalp grease secretion effect
Several male volunteers recruiting 35-50 years old oily scalp were randomized into 5 groups of 4 each; shampoo compositions 1 and 7-10 described above were used. The shampoo composition is used for cleaning hair every three days, and is continuously used for 20 times. Sebum levels of scalp surfaces of scalp 3cm x 3cm areas of the scalp top area of 10 times and 20 times before application of the shampoo composition were measured using a sebum tester sebumersm 815, and sebum reduction rates T10 and T20 of scalp surfaces of 10 times and 20 were converted. The results are shown in Table 2.
Table 2: test for controlling scalp grease secretion effect
As shown in the test results of the scalp grease secretion control effect shown in Table 2, the scalp grease reduction rate of the shampoo composition of the invention reaches 42.5% when the shampoo composition is used for 10 times continuously, and reaches 59.2% when the shampoo composition is used for 20 times continuously, the shampoo composition of the invention can effectively inhibit scalp grease secretion, and gives fresh and comfortable experience to the scalp.
From the test results of compositions 1 and 7-10, it is clear that the combination of behenyl trimethylammonium methyl sulfate and PPG-26-butanol polyether-26 in the shampoo composition of the invention can mutually promote the effective delivery of the oil control active ingredient and exert the effect on the scalp, so that the composition has better effect of controlling the secretion of scalp grease. The mass ratio of the behenyl trimethyl ammonium methyl sulfate to the PPG-26-butanol polyether-26 in the composition of the invention reaches (0.8-1.5): within the range of 1, the shampoo composition has the best effect of controlling scalp grease secretion.
Various modifications and variations of the present invention may occur to those skilled in the art, and it is intended that the present invention also include such modifications and variations as fall within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.
