Abstract

Description
本发明涉及可生物降解的合成草皮纱线、制备所述可生物降解的合成草皮纱线的方法、包含所述可生物降解的合成草皮纱线的人造草皮以及制备人造草皮的方法。
人造草皮(也称为合成草皮或人造草)广泛用于许多应用中,包括运动场和景观作为(天然)草的替代品。然而,人造草皮也用于例如阳台、露台、道路、游乐场等。特别是在运动场上,人造草皮结合了天然草皮的运动特性、外观和质感,具有增加使用频率、产生额外创收、安全性、较长的比赛时间、较少的比赛取消和以及最低的比赛日成本的优势。
人造草皮还为环境提供了一些好处。例如,真实的草需要大量的水,而人造草皮则不需要。此外,真实的草需要定期维护才能保持健康美观。这种维护通常涉及燃料驱动的割草机、修剪机、松土机等,它们会排放温室气体。此外,人造草皮不需要可能对环境有害的除草剂、杀虫剂、化肥和除草剂。尽管如此,可以进行改进,从而使人造草皮更加环保。
特别是,可以改进用于制备人造草皮的材料。目前,大部分人造草皮仍由聚烯烃制成,尤其是聚乙烯和聚丙烯。已经有研究努力使人造草皮更具可持续性,例如,通过开发可回收的人造草皮。
也有人尝试取代通常用于运动场人造草皮的橡胶填充物,以支撑草纤维,并增加尺寸稳定性。通常,这种填充材料由苯乙烯-丁二烯橡胶(SBR)制成,其具有出色的弹性和非常好的耐大气和化学试剂性能。例如,WOA2018/016956是此类用其他材料代替橡胶填充物的尝试之一,其公开了具有颗粒状填充物的人造草皮,该人造草皮由包含聚乳酸或其衍生物的泡沫材料制成。聚乳酸是生物基和可生物降解的材料。
多年来,塑料带来了经济、环境和社会优势。然而,它们的流行也意味着塑料垃圾的增加,这带来了自身的经济、环境和社会问题。塑料垃圾具有严重的生态影响。可以将塑料废物送往垃圾填埋场(即通过掩埋处理材料的处置场)或者可以将其焚烧,但这两种选择仍然对环境产生严重影响。另一种选择是回收,但回收过程通常会导致较低的产品质量和经济价值。因此,塑料产品的回收通常被称为“降级回收”。此外,在最终进入垃圾填埋场或焚烧之前,许多塑料垃圾只能回收一两次。
重新设计塑料产品有助于缓解与塑料垃圾相关的一些问题。当前的发展之一是寻找塑料材料的可生物降解的替代品,同时保持(或者甚至改善)材料特性。
期望提供可生物降解的合成草皮纱线,使得当纱线的片段最终进入环境时,这些片段在细菌和真菌的影响下完全降解。
在本领域中,已经进行了一些尝试来提供可生物降解的人造草皮。
例如,WO A2007/114686公开了合成纤维,用于其至少部分由可生物降解的材料制成的人造草坪。生物可降解的材料可以是淀粉组分,任选地与脂肪族聚酯如聚乳酸结合,以随时间影响生物可降解性。然而,聚乳酸以其相对较低的柔韧性和冲击强度而著称。
KR-B101-855 284公开了人造草皮结构,其使用聚丁二酸丁二醇酯-共-聚己二酸丁二醇酯(polybutylene succinate-co-adipate,PBSA)和聚丁二酸丁二醇酯(polybutylene succinate)作为可生物降解材料制备。
尽管做出了这些努力,但仍然需要进一步可生物降解的合成草皮纱线,尤其是具有良好的加工性能。此外,需要机械性能如弹性模量和/或回弹力优异的可生物降解的合成草皮纱线。
本发明的目的是解决本领域中的这些需求中的一个或多个。
发明人发现,该目标可以至少部分地通过包含脂肪族聚酯并与特定可生物降解的聚酯组合的合成草皮纱线来满足。
因此,本发明的第一个方面涉及合成草皮纱线,其包含脂肪族聚酯以及丁二醇、对苯二甲酸和直链脂肪族二羧酸的共聚酯,所述直链脂肪族二羧酸选自下组:琥珀酸、己二酸和癸二酸。
发明人惊奇地发现所定义的聚酯能够制备具有优异性能的合成草皮纱线。特别地,发明人使用的材料能够接近由线性低密度聚乙烯制备的常规合成草皮纱线的性质,特别是关于弹性模量的性质。同时,合成草皮纱线中使用的聚酯材料是可生物降解的。如果材料的小片段最终进入环境,那么细菌和真菌将消耗材料,不会留下(或几乎不会留下任何)有害残留物。发明人进一步发现脂肪族聚酯和定义的聚酯的组合提供优异的可加工性。
本发明的合成草皮纱线包含丁二醇、对苯二甲酸和直链脂肪族二羧酸的共聚酯,所述直链脂肪族二羧酸选自琥珀酸、己二酸和癸二酸。这些共聚酯各自具有高柔韧性、优异的冲击强度和良好的熔融加工性。有利地,这些共聚酯在土壤、海水和具有活性污泥的水中表现出约一年的良好生物降解性。
可根据本发明使用的合适的共聚酯的示例包括共聚(丁二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二酸丁二醇酯)、共聚(己二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二酸丁二醇酯)和共聚(癸二酸丁二醇酯-共--对苯二酸丁二醇酯)。共聚(丁二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二酸丁二醇酯)也称为聚琥珀酸对苯二酸丁二醇酯(polybutylene succinate terephthalate)(或PBST)。共聚(己二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二酸丁二醇酯)也称为聚己二酸对苯二酸丁二醇酯(polybutyleneadipate terephthalate)(或PBAT)。共聚(癸二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二酸丁二醇酯)也称为聚癸二酸对苯二酸丁二醇酯(polybutylene sebacate terephthalate)(或PBSeT)。
优选地,共聚酯选自共聚(己二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二酸丁二醇酯)和共聚(癸二酸丁二醇酯-共--对苯二酸丁二醇酯)。更优选地,共聚酯是共聚(己二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二酸丁二醇酯)。PBAT可以从BASF以EcoflexTM、从伊士曼化学公司(Eastman Chemical)以Eastar从Novamont以Origo-/>从Kingfa以/>和从Jinhui以/>商购。
合成草皮纱线中共聚酯的含量按纱线总重量计可以为30-100%,优选为40-98%,例如50-95%或60-90%。共聚酯的量还取决于其中使用合成草皮纱线的人造草皮的预期应用。特别地,共聚酯为人造草皮纱线提供柔软性和弹性。
作为附加聚合物,合成草皮纱线包含脂肪族聚酯,优选可生物降解的脂肪族聚酯,例如选自下组的一种或多种:聚丁二酸丁二醇酯(PBS)、聚己二酸丁二醇酯(PBA)、聚癸二酸丁二醇酯(PBSe)和聚丁二酸癸二酸丁二醇酯(PBSSe)。使用聚丁二酸丁二醇酯已获得特别好的结果。已发现此类脂肪族聚酯与本文所定义的共聚酯令人惊讶地良好混合。PBS可以从三菱化学公司(Mitsubishi Chemical)以BioPBSTM商购。PBA可从西格玛奥里奇公司(Sigma-Aldrich)商购。
合成草皮纱线中附加脂肪族聚酯的含量按合成草皮纱线总重量计可以为1-70%,优选为2-60%,例如5-50%或10-40%。脂肪族聚酯的量还取决于其中使用合成草皮纱线的人造草皮的预期应用。特别地,脂肪族聚酯为合成草皮纱线提供刚度。
合成草皮纱线中共聚酯和脂肪族聚酯的重量比可以适当地为40∶60-90∶10,优选45∶55-80∶20,例如50∶50-70∶30。
有限地,本发明的优选草皮纱线包含聚己二酸对苯二酸丁二醇酯(或共聚(己二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二酸丁二醇酯))和聚丁二酸丁二醇酯。发现这种组合表现出特别好的加工性。这种特定的共聚酯和脂肪族聚酯的量和重量比可以如上所述。就实现机械性能和加工性能的最佳平衡而言,优选地是本发明的合成草皮纱线包含共聚(己二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二酸丁二醇酯)和聚丁二酸丁二醇酯的组合,其共聚(己二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二酸丁二醇酯)和聚丁二酸丁二醇酯的重量比为1.0或更低,例如0.8或更低,0.6或更低,0.5或更低,0.4或更低,例如0.1-0.8的范围、0.1-0.6的范围、0.1-0.5的范围或0.1-0.4的范围内。
任选地,可以在本发明的合成草皮纱线中包括一种或多种其他生物可降解的聚合物,例如,以便微调材料在土壤中的降解速率。此类其他生物可降解的聚合物的合适示例包括聚乳酸(PLA)、聚羟基链烷酸酯(PHA)和淀粉聚合物。
提高材料的降解速率的方法是进一步将天然纤维包括在本发明的合成草皮纱中。可以采用的合适的天然纤维的示例包括韧皮纤维、叶纤维、草纤维、秸秆纤维和种子纤维。取决于预期的降解速率,此类天然纤维的量可以高达纱线总重量的20%,优选0.5-15,例如1-10%,或2-8%。
本发明的合成草皮纱线中可以包括根据需要的其他添加剂。合适的添加剂的示例包括填料、抗氧化剂、相容剂、阻燃剂、着色剂、热稳定剂、加工助剂、抗氧化剂、UV稳定剂、UV吸收剂和颜料。此类添加剂的含量可以高达纱线总重量的10%,例如0.01-10%、0.05-8%或0.1-5%。如果使用添加剂,优选使用环境友好的添加剂,更优选可生物降解的添加剂。
例如,合适的填料(特别是无机填料)包括滑石、云母、硅灰石、碳酸钙、硫酸钡、碳酸镁、粘土、氧化铝、二氧化硅、硫酸钙、碳纤维、玻璃纤维、金属纤维、硅砂、碳黑、氧化钛、氢氧化镁、沸石、钼、硅藻土、丝(绢)云母、氢氧化钙、亚硫酸钙、硫酸钠、膨润土和石墨。此类填料可与共聚酯结合使用,以增加所得合成草皮纱线的硬度。填料按纱线的总重量计可以为5%或更少的量存在,优选3%或更少,例如2%或更少,或1%或更少。大量填料可能会对诸如耐磨性、粗糙度、弹性和/或刚度等性能产生负面影响。
颜料的示例包括经适当着色以提供美学吸引力的无机颜料,包括各种深浅不同的绿色、白色(TiO2、金红石)、氧化铁颜料和任何其他颜色。
抗氧化剂的示例包括:受阻酚、亚磷酸酯(phosphite)和亚膦酸二酯(phosphonite)、硫代化合物、各种硅氧烷、烷基化二苯胺和其他受阻的胺抗降解剂或稳定剂。抗氧化剂的用量为纱线总重量的0.1%-5%。
加工助剂的示例包括:羧酸金属盐、脂肪酸、脂肪酰胺、聚乙烯蜡、氧化聚乙烯蜡、环氧乙烷聚合物、环氧乙烷和环氧丙烷共聚物、植物蜡、石油蜡、非离子表面活性剂和聚硅氧烷。加工助剂的合适用量为纱线总重量的0.05-5%。
UV稳定剂和UV吸收剂的示例包括:受阻胺光稳定剂、二苯甲酮、苯并三唑、羟苯基三嗪、2-(2′-羟苯基)苯并三唑、Uvinol 3000、Tinuvin P、Irganox 1098、Uvinol 3008、Lavinix、BHT、Tinuvin 320、Irganox 1010、Irganox 1076和Irgafos 168。
合成草皮纱线的厚度可以为0.05-0.80mm,例如0.06-0.70,优选0.08-0.60mm,或0.10-0.50mm。合成草皮纱线的宽度可以为0.5-15mm,例如0.7-12mm,优选为0.8-10mm、1.0-8.0mm、1.2-5.0mm或1.5-3mm。
适当地,本发明的合成草皮纱线具有良好的柔韧性和/或弹性。特别地,根据BS EN13864:2004在断裂处测量的合成草皮纱线的韧性(即断裂强度与未变形样品的线性密度之比,以百分之一牛顿/特克斯(tex)表示)优选为1-50cN/tex,优选3-30cN/tex,更优选5-20cN/tex。
韧性可以通过纳入脂肪族聚酯来微调。较高含量的脂肪族聚酯将导致较高的韧性。
可用于调整材料特性的另一个参数是施加的拉伸量。例如,这可以是2-9%、优选3-8%、例如4-7%。
在另一方面中,本发明涉及制备根据本发明的合成草皮纱线的方法,其包括挤出组合物,所述组合物包含脂肪族聚酯以及丁二醇、对苯二甲酸和直链脂肪族二羧酸的共聚酯,所述直链脂肪族二羧酸选自琥珀酸、己二酸和癸二酸。组合物可包含或可由脂肪族聚酯和共聚酯的组合组成。
本发明的合成草皮纱线可由带或丝制备。两种制备过程都涉及挤出。
在带制备中,使聚合物组合物挤出成膜,随后将其切割成纤维或带。膜可以通过任何常规的成膜工艺制备,包括挤出工艺,例如铸膜或吹膜挤出、层压工艺或其任何组合。膜可以是单层或多层膜,例如,共挤出多层膜。在多层膜的情况下,优选地,膜层可以包含相同或不同的聚合物组合物。由膜切割成的带可具有高达200μm的厚度,例如10-150μm,25-125μm或50-100μm。带可以具有高达2.0cm的宽度,例如0.1-1.8cm,0.2-1.5cm,0.4-1.2cm或0.5-1.0cm。
在丝制备中,使聚合物组合物在配备有特定草皮纱线模头的挤出机中挤出,该模头通常具有用于使单独的丝分布在圆形或矩形纺丝板的多个单孔。孔的形状对应所需纱线横截面轮廓,包括例如矩形、狗骨形和V形。可以将多个单独的丝缠绕或捻合在一起形成合成草皮纱线。或者,纱线可由单丝组成。丝可以具有10-1000μm的厚度,例如50-800μm、100-700μm或200-500μm。丝可以具有高达3mm的宽度,例如0.1-2.5mm、0.2-2mm或0.5-1.5mm。
因此,可以使组合物挤出成膜,随后将其切成纤维或带,或者可以使组合物挤出成丝(并且任选地,可以缠绕多个丝),以生产合成草皮纱线。
如果待挤出的组合物具有多种组分,那么适当地,该方法包括在挤出步骤前将不同组分混合成组合物的步骤。如有必要,混合可伴以暴露于超声波,以增加混合物的均匀性。
在另一方面中,本发明涉及包含根据本发明的合成草皮纱线的人造草皮。

本发明的人造草皮可以通过将根据本发明的合成草皮纱线的簇插入人造草皮背衬中来制备。因此,簇由纱线或纤维的簇合物(cluster)形成,所述纱线或纤维穿过背衬的织物并以环或切纱的形式从表面突出。纱线的簇通常通过通常称为背面涂层的粘合剂固定在背衬中,该粘合剂通常被施加到背衬的背面以增强簇对背衬的锁定或锚固。用于背涂层的合适材料包括例如羧化的苯乙烯-丁二烯橡胶(SBR)胶乳。
本文所述的人造草皮特别适用于景观,例如商业、休闲和住宅景观、公园、运动场,例如用于接触运动、球类运动和田径运动的运动场、游乐场和花园。

实施例
具有从橡胶状到刚性的不同的机械性能的两种不同的可生物降解的聚合物PBAT和PBS以不同的浓度混合。组合物示于下表1中。

这些实验的目的是获得可生物降解的人造草,其性能可与目前使用的线性低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)类型的草相媲美,或者至少足以适合制造人造草。
这两种聚合物在双螺杆挤出机(24mm Collin Laboratory挤出机)上以不同的比例进行熔融共混,并直接生产出小带。
未拉伸的带的尺寸约为10-13mm宽和400-500μm厚。然后将未拉伸的带在烘箱中(排队)加热并拉伸3-6次以增加机械性能。
根据拉伸比,最终的带的宽度为2-4mm,厚度为150-200μm。
从这些具有不同聚合物比例的不同聚合物带测量机械性能,并通过DSC和光学检查来评估带的混溶性。
对这些实施例的分析表明,样品的韧性随着脂肪族聚酯PBS含量的增加而增加。发现具有共聚酯PBAT和脂肪族聚酯PBS的混合物的实施例具有特别好的可加工性。就机械性能和可加工性的良好组合而言,使用包含PBAT和PBS的实施例实现了特别好的结果,特别是其中PBAT与PBS的重量比为1.0或更低(即实施例1-4)。
Claims (19)
1.一种合成草皮纱线,其包含脂肪族聚酯以及丁二醇、对苯二甲酸和直链脂肪族二羧酸的共聚酯,所述直链脂肪族二羧酸选自琥珀酸、己二酸和癸二酸,所述合成草皮纱线还包含。
2.如权利要求1所述的合成草皮纱线,其中,所述直链二羧酸是癸二酸,所述共聚酯是共聚(癸二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯)。
3.如权利要求1所述的合成草皮纱线,其中,所述直链二羧酸是己二酸,所述共聚酯是共聚(己二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯)。
4.如权利要求1-3中任一项所述的合成草皮纱线,其中,所述纱线中所述共聚酯的含量为所述纱线总重量的30-100%,优选40-98%,例如50-95%,或60-90%。
5.如权利要求1-4中任一项所述的合成草皮纱线,其中,所述脂肪族聚酯包括或是选自下组的一种或多种:聚丁二酸丁二醇酯、聚己二酸丁二醇酯或聚癸二酸丁二醇酯。
6.如权利要求1-5中任一项所述的合成草皮纱线,其中,所述脂肪族聚酯是聚丁二酸丁二醇酯。
7.如权利要求1-6中任一项所述的合成草皮纱线,其中,所述纱线中所述脂肪族聚酯的含量为所述纱线总重量的1-70%,优选2-60%,例如5-50%,或10-40%。
8.如权利要求1-7中任一项所述的合成草皮纱线,其中所述共聚酯与脂肪族聚酯之间的重量比为40:60至90∶10,优选45∶55至80∶20,例如50:50至70:30。
9.如权利要求1-8中任一项所述的合成草皮纱线,其中,所述共聚酯是共聚(己二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯),并且其中所述脂肪族聚酯是聚丁二酸丁二醇酯。
10.如权利要求9所述的合成草皮纱线,其中,所述合成草皮纱线中所述共聚(己二酸丁二醇酯-共-对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯)与所述聚丁二酸丁二醇酯的重量比为1.0或更低,例如0.8或更低,0.6或更低,在0.1-0.5的范围内,或在0.1-0.4的范围内。
11.如权利要求1-10中任一项所述的合成草皮纱线,其还包含天然纤维。
12.如权利要求11所述的合成草皮纱线,其中,所述天然纤维是选自下组的一种或多种:韧皮纤维、叶纤维、草纤维、秸秆纤维和种子纤维。
13.如权利要求11或12所述的合成草皮纱线,其中,所述天然纤维按纱线总重量计以高达20%的量存在,优选0.5-10%,例如1-5%。
14.如权利要求1-13中任一项所述的合成草皮纱线,其还包含选自下组的一种或多种添加剂:填料、相容剂、阻燃剂、着色剂、热稳定剂、加工助剂、抗氧化剂、UV稳定剂和颜料。
15.如权利要求1-14所述的合成草皮纱线,其中,所述纱线根据BS EN 13864:2004在断裂处测量的所述合成草皮纱线的韧性为1-50cN/tex,优选3-30cN/tex,更优选5-20cN/tex。
16.制备权利要求1-15中任一项所述的合成草皮纱线的方法,其包括挤出组合物,所述组合物包含脂肪族聚酯和丁二醇、对苯二甲酸和直链脂肪族二羧酸的共聚酯,所述直链脂肪族二羧酸选自琥珀酸、己二酸和癸二酸,
其中所述挤出优选包括:
-使所述组合物挤出成膜,随后将其切割成纤维或带,或
-使所述组合物挤出成丝,任选地编织多个单独的丝,
以产生合成草皮纱线。
17.一种人造草皮,其包含权利要求1-15中任一项所述的合成草皮纱线。
18.如权利要求17所述的人造草皮,其还包含可生物降解的填充材料。
19.制备权利要求17所述的人造草皮的方法,其包括将权利要求1-15中任一项所述的合成草皮纱线簇插入到人造草皮背衬中,并且将粘合剂施加到背衬的背面。
