Abstract
本发明涉及环氧酯树脂、乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂、树脂组合物、涂料及用该涂料涂装的物品。本发明提供即使在使用分散性低的颜料的情况下也可得到颜料充分分散的树脂组合物、并能够形成光泽优异的涂膜的环氧酯树脂和乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂。一种具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂;以及一种以上述环氧酯树脂和聚合性单体作为反应成分的具有稠合脂环结构的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂,该乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂之中,上述具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂与上述聚合性单体的质量比[环氧酯树脂:聚合性单体]为20:80~80:20的范围。

技术领域
本发明涉及环氧酯树脂、乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂、树脂组合物、涂料及用该涂料涂装的物品。
背景技术
为了应对大气污染,对于美国、欧洲、中国等而言,挥发性有机化合物(VOC)限制的强化正在推进,对于大量使用甲苯、二甲苯、乙酸乙酯等挥发性有机化合物作为溶剂的涂料而言,要求不使用这些有机溶剂或者降低有机溶剂的使用的涂料的水性化。
一方面要求涂料的水性化,另一方面,对于用于建筑物、船舶、航空器等的涂料而言,由于涂膜暴露于雨水,因而除了需要耐水性和防蚀性以外,还要求在室外进行涂装的情况下不需要加热的常温干燥性。
作为能够用作建筑物、船舶、航空器等的涂料的常温干燥型水性涂料,提出了用金属络合物化合物将树脂骨架中的碳碳不饱和双键氧化聚合的涂料(专利文献1)。

发明内容
发明要解决的课题
水性涂料是树脂溶解或分散在水性介质中而得的涂料,但与溶剂系涂料相比,通常干燥性和防蚀性较差,因此,出于提升干燥性的目的而经常配合碳酸钙等体质颜料,出于提升防蚀性的目的而经常配合铬酸金属盐、磷酸金属盐等防锈颜料。
然而,体质颜料和防锈颜料的分散性差,当在水性涂料中使用体质颜料和/或防锈颜料时,存在颜料分散不充分、且在涂膜表面产生微细的凹凸而导致涂膜光泽的下降的问题。另外,涂料中的颜料成分在保管期间沉降分离等,经时稳定性也存在问题。该问题不限于水性涂料,也是溶剂系涂料也会产生的问题。
本发明想要解决的课题在于,提供即使在使用分散性低的颜料的情况下也可得到颜料充分分散的树脂组合物、并能够形成光泽性和/或防蚀性优异的涂膜的环氧酯树脂和乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂。
本发明想要解决的另一课题在于,提供能够形成光泽性和/或防蚀性优异的涂膜的树脂组合物和涂料。
用于解决课题的手段
本发明人等为了解决上述课题而进行了深入研究,结果发现,通过使用导入有稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂,可得到即使是分散性低的颜料也充分分散的树脂组合物,从而完成了本发明。
即,本发明涉及(1)具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂;以及(2)以上述环氧酯树脂和聚合性单体作为反应成分的具有稠合脂环结构的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂,该乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂之中,上述具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂与上述聚合性单体的质量比[环氧酯树脂:聚合性单体]为20:80~80:20的范围。
发明效果
根据本发明,可以提供即使在使用分散性低的颜料的情况下也可得到颜料充分分散的树脂组合物、并能够形成光泽性和/或防蚀性优异的涂膜的环氧酯树脂和乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂。
根据本发明,可以提供能够形成光泽性和/或防蚀性优异的涂膜的树脂组合物和涂料。
具体实施方式
以下,对本发明的一个实施方式进行说明。本发明不限于以下的实施方式,可以在不损害本发明的效果的范围内进行适当变更来实施。
[环氧酯树脂]
本发明的环氧酯树脂是具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂。
作为用于涂料的环氧酯树脂,一般使用双酚型环氧酯树脂,但在本发明中,通过使用具有稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂,从而能够提高颜料分散性。
本发明的具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂优选为具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂与不饱和脂肪酸的反应产物、或者具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂与不饱和脂肪酸与多元羧酸的反应产物。
据推测,二环戊二烯、三环癸烷(四氢二环戊二烯)、降冰片烯、金刚烷、四氢茚等稠合脂环结构通常相邻的环结构弯曲,对于使具有这些结构的单体进行反应而得到的环氧酯树脂,其稠合脂环结构有效地吸附于颜料粒子表面,能够提高颜料分散性。
需要说明的是,据推测,双酚结构由于两个苯环立体障碍性地相互排斥,因而在颜料粒子上的吸附是部分地停留。
环氧树脂是在分子中具有至少1个环氧基的树脂,具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂优选为具有二环戊二烯结构的二环戊二烯型环氧树脂。
需要说明的是,在本发明中,所谓的“二环戊二烯型环氧树脂”,是指在分子内具有多个环氧基和源自二环戊二烯的三环癸烷(四氢二环戊二烯)骨架的环氧树脂。
上述二环戊二烯型环氧树脂优选为下述通式(1)所表示的二环戊二烯型环氧树脂。

通式(1)所表示的二环戊二烯型环氧树脂例如可以通过将二环戊二烯与酚化合物聚合、并使表氯醇等卤化环氧化合物与所得到的聚合物进行反应来制造。
具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂的环氧当量优选为200~2000g/当量的范围,更优选为300~1500g/当量的范围。
需要说明的是,环氧当量是为了得到环氧基1mol量而需要的环氧树脂的重量,在作为环氧树脂而使用2种以上的环氧树脂的混合物的情况下,作为混合物的环氧当量处于上述范围即可。
具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂优选不含双酚结构。
双酚型环氧树脂有内分泌紊乱物质的嫌疑,环氧树脂不含双酚结构,由此能够避免该嫌疑。
具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂可以使用市售品,作为该市售品,可举出EPICLONHP-7200系列(DIC株式会社制)、TACTIX556和756(均为HUNTSMAN公司制)等二环戊二烯型环氧树脂。
不饱和脂肪酸优选为不饱和脂肪族单羧酸,更优选为碳原子数6~40的不饱和脂肪族单羧酸,进一步优选为碳原子数10~22的不饱和脂肪族单羧酸。
不饱和脂肪酸的不饱和度没有特别限定,例如为1~3的范围。
不饱和脂肪酸可以单独使用1种,也可以并用2种以上。另外,也可以与不饱和脂肪酸一起地使用饱和脂肪酸。
作为不饱和脂肪酸的具体例,可举出山梨酸、油酸、亚油酸、亚麻酸、桐酸、蓖麻油酸、桐油脂肪酸、亚麻仁油脂肪酸、脱水蓖麻油脂肪酸、蓖麻油脂肪酸、妥尔油脂肪酸、棉籽油脂肪酸、大豆油脂肪酸、橄榄油脂肪酸、红花油脂肪酸、米糠油脂肪酸等。
需要说明的是,桐油脂肪酸、亚麻仁油脂肪酸、脱水蓖麻油脂肪酸、蓖麻油脂肪酸、妥尔油脂肪酸、棉籽油脂肪酸、大豆油脂肪酸、橄榄油脂肪酸、红花油脂肪酸、米糠油脂肪酸是碳原子数10~22的不饱和脂肪族单羧酸的混合物。
不饱和脂肪酸可以是源自天然的不饱和脂肪酸和合成不饱和脂肪酸(包括非源自天然的脂肪酸)中的任一种。
从可得到基于金属干燥剂(日文:金属ドライヤ一)的氧化聚合性优异的水性涂料的观点出发,不饱和脂肪酸优选为碘值120~200的范围的半干性油或干性油。
相对于环氧树脂100质量份,不饱和脂肪酸的使用量例如为10~60质量份的范围,优选为20~45质量份的范围。
作为环氧酯树脂的反应成分,除了环氧树脂和不饱和脂肪酸以外,还可以使用多元羧酸。
对于作为环氧树脂、不饱和脂肪酸以及多元羧酸的反应产物的环氧酯树脂,通过多元羧酸的羧基与环氧树脂的环氧基的反应,高分子链伸长,能够控制分子量。
作为上述多元羧酸,可举出邻苯二甲酸(酐)、间苯二甲酸、对苯二甲酸、偏苯三酸、均苯四酸、四氯邻苯二甲酸、1,1-环己烷二甲酸、1,3-环己烷二甲酸、1,4-环己烷二甲酸、四氢邻苯二甲酸、氯桥酸、5-降冰片烯-2,3-二甲酸、氢化偏苯三酸、己二酸、壬二酸、癸二酸、马来酸(酐)、富马酸、衣康酸等。
多元羧酸可以单独使用1种,也可以并用2种以上。另外,作为多元羧酸,也可以使用多元羧酸的酸酐等衍生物。
在使用多元羧酸作为反应成分的情况下,相对于环氧树脂100质量份,多元羧酸的使用量例如为10质量份以下,优选为6质量份以下。多元羧酸的使用量的下限没有特别限定,例如相对于环氧树脂100质量份为1质量份以上。
在环氧酯树脂的反应成分中,具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂的环氧基与不饱和脂肪酸和多元羧酸的羧基的合计的摩尔比[环氧基:羧基]优选为1∶1~1∶2的范围。
通过环氧基与羧基的摩尔比位于上述范围,能够确保所得到的环氧酯树脂的颜料分散性和涂膜干燥性这两者。
关于具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂,只要将具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂、不饱和脂肪酸以及任意的多元羧酸作为反应成分即可,也可以将它们以外的成分用于反应成分。
具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂的酸值例如为2~15mgKOH/g的范围,优选为4~10mgKOH/g的范围。
具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂的酸值通过实施例中记载的方法来评价。
具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂的分子量没有特别限制,例如重均分子量为3000~20000的范围。
具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂的重均分子量通过实施例中记载的方法来评价。
具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂、不饱和脂肪酸以及任意的多元羧酸的反应可以用公知的方法来实施,例如可以通过对包含环氧树脂、不饱和脂肪酸以及任意的多元羧酸的反应体系进行加热来制备本发明的环氧酯树脂。
[乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂]
本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂是以上述具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂、及聚合性单体作为反应成分的树脂。在此,所谓的“作为反应成分”,是构成乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的成分的意思,并且是不包括不构成乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的溶剂、催化剂的意思。
聚合性单体是具有聚合性不饱和基团的化合物的意思,作为该单体所具有的聚合性不饱和基团,可举出(甲基)丙烯酰基、(甲基)丙烯酰氧基、(甲基)丙烯酰基酰胺基、乙烯基醚基、烯丙基、苯乙烯基、(甲基)丙烯酰基酰胺基、马来酰亚胺基等。这些之中,从原料的获取容易性、聚合反应性良好的方面出发,优选(甲基)丙烯酰基、(甲基)丙烯酰氧基或苯乙烯基。
聚合性单体可以单独使用1种,也可以并用2种以上。
上述聚合性单体优选包含具有酸性官能团的聚合性单体。
通过使用具有酸性官能团的聚合性单体作为聚合性单体,由此后述的胺化合物与酸性官能团反应而形成中和盐结构,能够对乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂赋予水溶性。
作为具有酸性官能团的聚合性单体,可举出(甲基)丙烯酸、巴豆酸、富马酸、马来酸、柠康酸、衣康酸、丙烯酰氧基己内酯酸(日文:アクリ口イ口キシカプ口ラクトン酸)等具有羧基的聚合性单体;酸式磷酸2-(甲基)丙烯酰氧基乙酯、酸式磷酸3-(甲基)丙烯酰氧基丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酰氧基聚氧亚乙基二醇酸式磷酸酯、(甲基)丙烯酰氧基聚氧亚丙基二醇酸式磷酸酯等具有磷酸基的聚合性单体;乙烯基磺酸等具有磺酸基的单体等。
上述具有酸性官能团的聚合性单体也包括酸酐等衍生物。
在包含具有酸性官能团的聚合性单体作为聚合性单体的情况下,具有酸性官能团的聚合性单体的含有比例为聚合性单体总量的例如1~50质量%的范围,优选为3~40质量%。
作为上述聚合性单体,也可以使用具有包含聚氧亚烷基链的基团的聚合性单体。由于聚氧亚烷基链显现亲水性,因而通过使用具有包含聚氧亚烷基链的基团的聚合性单体,从而能够调整乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的亲水性。

需要说明的是,上述“聚(乙二醇·丙二醇)”意指乙二醇与丙二醇的无规共聚物,“聚乙二醇·聚丙二醇”意指乙二醇与丙二醇的嵌段共聚物。
在作为聚合性单体而含有具有包含聚氧亚烷基链的基团、且聚合性不饱和基团为(甲基)丙烯酰基的聚合性单体的情况下,具有包含聚氧亚烷基链的基团、且聚合性不饱和基团为(甲基)丙烯酰基的聚合性单体的含有比例为聚合性单体总量的例如5~40质量%的范围,优选为10~35质量%。
作为上述聚合性单体,也可以根据需要而使用具有酸性官能团的聚合性单体和具有包含聚氧亚烷基链的基团的聚合性单体以外的其他聚合性单体。
作为上述其他聚合性单体,可以举出具有选自碳原子数为1~18的烷基和碳原子数6~18的芳香族基团中的1种以上、且聚合性不饱和基团为(甲基)丙烯酰基的聚合性单体。通过使用该聚合性单体,从而能够调整所得到的涂膜的硬度。
需要说明的是,上述烷基可以是直链,也可以是支链,也可以是脂肪族环,上述芳香族基团是也包括稠合环的意思。
作为上述其他聚合性单体的具体例,可举出(甲基)丙烯酸甲酯、(甲基)丙烯酸乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸正丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸异丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸正丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸异丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸叔丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸正己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸正辛酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸壬酯、(甲基)丙烯酸癸酯、(甲基)丙烯酸十二烷基酯、(甲基)丙烯酸十三烷基酯、(甲基)丙烯酸鲸蜡酯、(甲基)丙烯酸硬脂酯、(甲基)丙烯酸山嵛酯、(甲基)丙烯酸环己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸4-叔丁基环己酯、(甲基)丙烯酸异冰片酯、(甲基)丙烯酸二环戊酯、(甲基)丙烯酸金刚烷酯、(甲基)丙烯酸苄酯、苯乙烯、α-甲基苯乙烯、对甲基苯乙烯、对甲氧基苯乙烯等。
上述其他聚合性单体还可以具有羟基。
通过使用具有羟基的聚合性单体,从而能够调整与和羟基进行反应的三聚氰胺系固化剂、异氰酸酯系固化剂的反应性。若增加羟基,则固化速度和涂膜耐久性优异,若减少羟基,则能够得到固化剂混合后的可使用时间(所谓的适用期)长的树脂组合物。
作为上述具有羟基的聚合性单体的具体例,可举出(甲基)丙烯酸2-羟基乙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2-羟基丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸3-羟基丙酯、(甲基)丙烯酸4-羟基丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2-羟基丁酯、(甲基)丙烯酸3-羟基丁酯、1,4-环己烷二甲醇单(甲基)丙烯酸酯、甘油单(甲基)丙烯酸酯、聚乙二醇单(甲基)丙烯酸酯、聚丙二醇单(甲基)丙烯酸酯、(甲基)丙烯酸2-羟基-3-苯氧基丙基酯、邻苯二甲酸2-(甲基)丙烯酰氧基乙基-2-羟基乙基酯、在末端具有羟基的内酯改性(甲基)丙烯酸酯、酸式磷酸2-甲基丙烯酰氧基乙酯等。
在作为聚合性单体而包含具有选自碳原子数为1~18的烷基和碳原子数6~18的芳香族基团中的1种以上、且聚合性不饱和基团为(甲基)丙烯酰基的聚合性单体的情况下,具有选自碳原子数为1~18的烷基和碳原子数6~18的芳香族基团中的1种以上、且聚合性不饱和基团为(甲基)丙烯酰基的聚合性单体的含有比例为聚合性单体总量的例如50~99质量%的范围,优选为60~97质量%。
本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的聚合形式没有特别限定,可以是具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂与聚合性单体的无规共聚物、嵌段共聚物和接枝共聚物中的任一种。
本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的反应成分中的、具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂与聚合性单体的质量比例如为环氧酯树脂∶聚合性单体=20∶80~80∶20的范围,优选为30∶70~80∶20的范围。
通过环氧酯树脂与聚合性单体的质量比处于上述范围,从而能够取得承担颜料分散性的环氧酯树脂与承担对溶剂(例如水、极性溶剂等)的稳定性的聚合性单体的性能平衡。
乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的酸值例如为15~80mgKOH/g的范围,优选为20~70mgKOH/g的范围,更优选为20~60mgKOH/g的范围。通过乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的酸值处于该范围,从而可得到保存稳定性和高的涂膜耐水性。
需要说明的是,乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的酸值通过实施例中记载的方法来评价。
乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的重均分子量没有特别限定,例如为10000~100000的范围,优选为9000~40000的范围。
乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的重均分子量通过实施例中记载的方法来评价。
本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂优选为以具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂、包含具有酸性官能团的聚合性单体的聚合性单体、以及脂肪族胺作为反应成分的树脂。
对于本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂,脂肪族胺与源自具有酸性官能团的聚合性单体的酸性官能团进行反应而形成中和盐结构。由于该中和盐结构显现亲水性,因而能够对乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂赋予水溶性或水分散性。
作为脂肪族胺,例如可举出甲胺、二甲胺、三甲胺、乙胺、二乙胺、三乙胺、丁胺、二丁胺、三丁胺、N,N-二甲基乙醇胺、N,N-二乙基乙醇胺、2-氨基乙醇、2-氨基-2-甲基-1-丙醇、2-(N,N-二甲基氨基)-2-甲基-1-丙醇、二乙醇胺、二异丙醇胺、二丁醇胺、三乙醇胺、二氮杂双环壬烯、二氮杂双环十一碳烯等。
脂肪族胺可以单独使用1种,也可以并用2种以上。
脂肪族胺的使用量可以设为使本发明的乙烯基环氧酯树脂所具有的酸性官能团的中和率成为50%~100%的范围,优选设为中和率成为60%~100%的范围。
本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂只要以具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂、聚合性单体以及任意的脂肪族胺作为反应成分即可,优选为包含具有稠合环的环氧酯树脂、聚合性单体以及任意的脂肪族胺的反应成分的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂。
在制造本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂时,具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂与聚合性单体的反应可以通过公知的方法来实施,例如可以通过在包含具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂和聚合性单体的反应体系中添加自由基聚合引发剂来实施。
作为上述自由基聚合引发剂,可举出2,2’-偶氮双(异丁腈)、2,2’-偶氮双(2-甲基丁腈)、偶氮双氰基戊酸等偶氮化合物;过氧化特戊酸叔丁酯、过氧化苯甲酸叔丁酯、过氧化-2-乙基己酸叔丁基酯、叔丁基过氧化-2-乙基己基单碳酸酯、4,4-二(叔丁基过氧化)戊酸正丁酯、过氧化二叔丁基、二叔丁基过氧化氢、枯烯过氧化氢、过氧化苯甲酰、叔丁基过氧化氢等有机过氧化物;过氧化氢、过硫酸铵、过硫酸钾、过硫酸钠等无机过氧化物等。
自由基聚合引发剂可以单独使用1种,也可以并用2种以上。
自由基聚合引发剂的使用量没有特别限制,例如相对于聚合性单体100质量份,可以在0.5~10质量份的范围内使用。如果为该范围内,则能够抑制未反应单体残留、或发生异常放热及反应失控。
[树脂组合物]
本发明的树脂组合物含有本发明的环氧酯树脂和/或本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂。其中,本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂不仅可以溶解或分散在有机溶剂中,还可以溶解或分散在水性溶剂中。
作为有机溶剂,例如可举出甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、正丁醇、异丁醇、叔丁醇、3-甲氧基丁醇等醇溶剂;乙二醇、丙二醇等二醇溶剂;乙二醇单甲醚、乙二醇单乙醚、乙二醇单丁醚、乙二醇二甲醚、二乙二醇二甲醚、二乙二醇二乙醚、二乙二醇二丁醚、丙二醇单甲醚、丙二醇单丙醚、丙二醇单丁醚、丙二醇二甲醚、二丙二醇单甲醚、二丙二醇二甲醚等二醇醚溶剂;乙二醇单乙醚乙酸酯、丙二醇单甲醚乙酸酯、二乙二醇单乙醚乙酸酯、二乙二醇单丁醚乙酸酯等二醇酯溶剂;丙酮、甲乙酮、甲基异丁基酮等酮溶剂;二甲基甲酰胺、二甲基乙酰胺、N-甲基吡咯烷酮、二甲基亚砜、四氢呋喃等。
有机溶剂可以单独使用1种,也可以并用2种以上。
作为水性溶剂,可举出水、与水混和的有机溶剂以及它们的混合物。
水没有特别限定,可以使用一般的自来水(日语:上水)、工业用水、蒸馏水等中的任一种。
作为与水混和的有机溶剂,可举出上述醇溶剂、二醇溶剂、二醇醚溶剂、二醇酯溶剂、酮溶剂等。
本发明的树脂组合物的溶剂优选只有水、或者水和与水混和的有机溶剂的混合溶剂。
在本发明的树脂组合物中,可以以例如固体成分浓度成为10~70质量%的方式使用溶剂,优选以固体成分浓度成为30~60质量%的方式使用溶剂。
本发明的树脂组合物即使在含有一般被认为分散性差的体质颜料和防锈颜料的情况下,也能够确保充分的颜料分散性。
在此,所谓的体质颜料是以树脂组合物的改质(增量、着色性、干燥性等)作为目的而配合的颜料,所谓的防锈颜料是为了提高树脂组合物的耐蚀性而配合的颜料,例如使用硅酸金属盐、碳酸金属盐、硫酸金属盐、磷酸金属盐、亚磷酸金属盐等。
作为体质颜料的具体例,可举出硫酸钡、碳酸钡、碳酸钙、氧化镁、碳酸镁、氢氧化镁、钛酸钡、氢氧化钙、亚硫酸钙、硫酸钙、氧化钙、硅酸钙、氧化钛、二氧化硅、沸石、滑石等。
树脂组合物所含有的体质颜料可以为单独1种,也可以为2种以上。
作为防锈颜料的具体例,可举出选自钙、锶、钡、锌、铝和镁中的1种以上的金属的磷酸盐、磷酸氢盐、磷硅酸盐、硼硅酸盐、硼酸盐、偏硼酸盐、钼酸盐、铬酸盐、多磷酸盐等。
树脂组合物所含有的防锈颜料可以为单独1种,也可以为2种以上。
在本发明的树脂组合物含有体质颜料和/或防锈颜料的情况下,相对于本发明的环氧酯树脂和/或本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂100质量份,体质颜料和防锈颜料的合计含量例如为20~80质量份的范围。
(其他成分)
本发明的树脂组合物可以是不使用固化剂的一液型涂料的形态,也可以是使用固化剂的多液型涂料的形态。
作为上述固化剂,可举出多异氰酸酯化合物、三聚氰胺化合物、环氧化合物、噁唑啉化合物、碳二亚胺化合物等。
根据需要,本发明的树脂组合物可以进一步含有着色颜料、金属干燥剂(承担促进树脂中的碳碳双键的氧化聚合的作用)、蜡、表面活性剂、稳定剂、流动调节剂、染料、流平剂、流变控制剂、紫外线吸收剂、抗氧化剂、增塑剂、抗静电剂、消泡剂、粘度调节剂、耐光稳定剂、耐候稳定剂、耐热稳定剂、颜料分散剂、热固性树脂、热塑性树脂等各种添加剂。这些可以使用公知的物质。
[涂料]
本发明的树脂组合物可以作为涂料用树脂组合物而合适使用,通过将本发明的树脂组合物用作涂料,从而能够在各种物品的表面形成耐水性和防蚀性优异的固化涂膜。
本发明的涂料可以直接涂装于成为被涂装物的物品,也可以在涂装适合于被涂装物的底漆涂敷材料之后,涂装本发明的水性涂料。
作为成为被涂装物的物品的材质,可举出铁、铜、锌、铝、镁等各种金属及其合金;聚碳酸酯(PC)、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(ABS)、PC-ABS的聚合物合金、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)、聚酰胺(PA)、聚丙烯(PP)、加入有玻璃纤维、碳纤维等填料的纤维强化塑料(FRP)等塑料基材;玻璃等。
作为本发明的涂料的涂装方法,根据所涂装的物品而不同,例如可举出凹版涂布机、辊涂机、逗号涂布机、刮刀涂布机、气刀涂布机、帘涂机、吻涂机、喷淋涂布机、轮式涂布机(日文:ホイ一ラ一コ一タ一)、旋涂机、浸渍、丝网印刷、喷涂、涂抹器、棒涂机、刷毛、滚筒等的方法。
作为具有本发明的涂料的涂膜的物品,例如可举出电视机、冰箱、洗衣机、空调等家电产品的壳体和内部部件;智能手机、移动电话、平板终端、个人电脑、数码相机、游戏机等电子设备的壳体和内部部件;打印机、传真机等OA设备的壳体;休闲体育用品;汽车、船舶、铁路车辆等各种车辆的内外装饰材料;工业机械;外墙、屋顶、玻璃、装饰板等建筑物的内外装饰材料;隔音壁、排水沟等土木部件等。

(合成实施例1:水分散体树脂组合物的制备)
在装备有搅拌机、温度计、温度调节装置和氮导入管的4口烧瓶中,投入二环戊二烯型环氧树脂(EPICLON HP-7200HH,DIC株式会社制)10.33质量份、大豆油脂肪酸(筑野食品工业株式会社制)7.66质量份、脱水蓖麻油脂肪酸(伊藤制油株式会社制)1.91质量份、以及马来酸酐0.10质量份,一边搅拌一边升温至230℃,维持该温度而进行反应8小时。在树脂的酸值成为1.0(mgKOH/g)以下的时间点结束反应,得到具有聚合性不饱和基团和二环戊二烯结构的二环戊二烯型环氧酯树脂。
在所得到的二环戊二烯型环氧酯树脂20.00质量份中加入丙二醇-正丙醚25.25质量份而进行稀释,将液温调整至140℃。花费3小时向4口烧瓶中滴加在其他容器中预先制备的丙烯酸3.00质量份、苯乙烯25.00质量份、甲基丙烯酸甲酯15.00质量份、丙烯酸2-乙基己酯27.00质量份、甲基丙烯酸环己酯10.00质量份以及作为聚合引发剂的叔丁基过氧化-2-乙基己基单碳酸酯(PERBUTYLE,日油株式会社制)1.60质量份的混合溶液,进而在该温度进行反应2小时,得到乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂(酸值23.5mgKOH/g)的溶液。
将所得到的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂溶液冷却至60℃,加入N,N-二甲基氨基乙醇3.78质量份而将乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂中和。中和后,添加离子交换水123.30质量份而进行转相乳化,将其用200目过滤,得到在水中粒子状地分散有乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的水性涂料用水分散体树脂组合物(1)。
树脂组合物(1)的不挥发成分为40重量%,经中和的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的重均分子量为23000。
(合成实施例2-9和合成比较例1-3:水分散体树脂组合物的制备)
与合成实施例1同样地操作,制备表1所示的组成的环氧酯树脂。使用所得到的环氧酯树脂,与合成实施例1同样地操作,使用表1所示的聚合性单体、自由基聚合引发剂以及胺化合物而制备乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂,使用表1所示的溶剂,分别制造不挥发成分40重量%的树脂组合物(2)~(9)及(1’)~(3’)。

Light Ester P-1M:酸式磷酸2-甲基丙烯酰氧基乙酯(共荣社化学株式会社制)
Aronix M-5300和Light Ester P-1M对应于具有酸性官能团的聚合性单体。
(实施例1-9和比较例1-3:水性涂料组合物的制备、以及涂膜的形成和评价)
使用所制备的树脂组合物(1)~(9)和(1’)~(3’)并用以下方法制备涂料组合物,形成涂膜并评价其物性。
将所得到的各树脂组合物(1)~(9)和(1’)~(3’)53.4质量份、氧化钛(Chemours公司制“Ti-Pure R-960”)25.0质量份、碳酸钙(MARUO CALCIUM株式会社制“SUPER S”)25.0质量份、消泡剂(BYK公司制“B YK-028”)0.1质量份以及水15.4质量份进行混合,用油漆搅拌器进行研磨(日文:肉)60分钟而得到研磨基质(不挥发成分60质量%)。在所得到的研磨基质中,进一步加入各树脂组合物(1)~(9)和(1’)~(3’)71.4质量份、金属干燥剂(DIC株式会社制“DICNATE 3111TL”)0.8质量份、流平剂(BYK公司制“BYK-348”)0.5质量份以及水8.4质量份并混合,分别得到不挥发成分50质量%的水性涂料组合物(1-1)~(1-9)和(1-1’)~(1-3’)。
使用所得到的水性涂料组合物(1-1)~(1-9)和(1-1’)~(1-3’),在磷酸锌处理钢板上以成为膜厚20μm的方式用涂抹器进行涂敷。涂敷后,在室温25℃静置7天,形成了用金属干燥剂使乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂内的碳碳不饱和键进行氧化聚合而得的交联涂膜。
对所制造的水性涂料组合物(1-1)~(1-9)和(1-1’)~(1-3’)、以及使用水性涂料组合物(1-1)~(1-9)和(1-1’)~(1-3’)而得到的涂膜进行以下评价。将结果示于表2。
(颜料分散性的评价)
将涂料组合物注入液中分散稳定性评价装置(荣弘精机株式会社制“TurbiscanMA2000”)的专用玻璃单元中,静置1小时后,进行涂料组合物的后向散射光的变化的累积值的测定,并将其作为基准值。将加入于玻璃单元中的涂料组合物在摄氏25℃静置7天后,再次进行相同的测定。用7天后的累积值相对于基准值的相对变化率来评价涂料组合物的颜料分散性。如果变化率小于15%,则认为是实用上没有问题的性能。需要说明的是,比较例2的涂料组合物(1-2’)的颜料分散性极其不良,因此不实施后述的光泽值以后的评价。

(光泽值)
对于在上述钢板上成膜的涂膜,使用光泽计Micro-Tri-Gloss(BYK公司制)在任意5点测定入射角60°和反射角60°的光泽,将其测定值作为光泽值。
(无粘性到达时间)
使用涂抹器(间隙:150μm)将涂料组合物涂敷在玻璃板(宽度约2cm、长度约35cm)上,将涂敷有涂料组合物的玻璃板置于涂料干燥时间测定器DTT-II型(太佑机材株式会社制),测定直到成为无粘性为止的时间。
需要说明的是,所谓的无粘性到达时间,是基于ASTM D5895—03的值(涂膜上的划伤从连续线状开始变化为虚线状为止的时间为无粘性到达时间)。
(基材密合性)
对于在上述钢板上成膜的涂膜,基于JIS K-5400:1990评价基材密合性。具体而言,在涂膜上用刀具切入1mm宽的切口,将棋盘格的数量设为100个,以覆盖全部棋盘格的方式贴附玻璃纸胶带,迅速地撕去。对在试验后密合并残留的棋盘格的数量进行百分比显示。
在基材密合性中,100%意指涂膜没有剥离部位,0%意指涂膜全部剥离。如果确认有95%以上的附着,则可以认为是实用上没有问题的性能。
(耐水性)
对于在上述钢板上成膜的涂膜,基于ASTM D870-02评价耐水性。具体而言,用光泽计Micro-Tri-Gloss(BYK公司制)预先测定涂膜表面的60°光泽值后,将试验样品浸渍在摄氏40℃的温水浴中并静置24小时。将试验样品取出后,用上述方法评价基材密合性(温水浸渍后基材密合性)。接着,测定涂膜表面的60°光泽值,将浸渍后的光泽值除以浸渍前的光泽值而求得“光泽残存率”。
需要说明的是,如果温水浴浸渍后的基材密合性为90%以上、且光泽残存率为90%以上,则可以认为是实用上没有问题的性能。
(防蚀性)
对于在上述钢板上成膜的涂膜,用切刀的刀尖,以从涂膜上到达基材的方式,切入X字状的切缝。将该基材置于与JIS Z2371对应的盐水喷雾试验机CYP-90型(SuGa试验机株式会社制),在摄氏35℃持续喷雾5%氯化钠水溶液15天。喷雾后,将基材水洗,并在摄氏25℃干燥2小时后,将玻璃纸胶带贴附于涂膜,以下述基准评价将玻璃纸胶带剥离时的涂膜的剥离程度。
S:剥离试验的剥离宽度小于1mm
A:剥离试验的剥离宽度为1mm以上且小于3mm
B:剥离试验的剥离宽度为3mm以上
需要说明的是,在此,所谓的“剥离宽度”,表示以用切刀切入的切缝作为中心时的涂膜剥离的宽度。如果剥离宽度小于3mm,则可以认为是实用上没有问题的性能。

由表2的结果可知,由以本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂作为粘合剂树脂的水性涂料组合物得到的涂膜的光泽性和防蚀性优异。另一方面,可知在比较例1中,由于用于制造乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的聚合性单体的量多(环氧酯树脂的量少),因此光泽性和防蚀性差。可知在比较例2中,由于用于制造乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的聚合性单体的量少(环氧酯树脂的量多),因此得不到颜料分散性。可知在比较例3中,由于乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂不具有稠合脂环结构,因而涂膜得不到光泽。
(实施例10-18和比较例4-6:水性涂料组合物的制备、以及涂膜的形成和评价)
使用所制备的树脂组合物(1)~(9)和(1’)~(3’)并通过以下方法制备涂料组合物,形成涂膜并评价其物性。
将所得到的各树脂组合物(1)~(9)和(1’)~(3’)53.4质量份、氧化钛(Chemours公司制“Ti-Pure R-960”)20.0质量份、碳酸钙(MARUO CALCIUM株式会社制“SUPER S”)20.0质量份、磷酸氢钙(东邦颜料工业株式会社制“EXPERT NP-1020C”)10.0质量份、消泡剂(BYK公司制“BYK-028”)0.1质量份以及水15.4质量份混合,用油漆搅拌器进行研磨60分钟而得到研磨基质(不挥发成分60质量%)。在所得到的研磨基质中,进一步加入各树脂组合物(1)~(9)和(1’)~(3’)71.4质量份、金属干燥剂(DIC株式会社制“DICNATE 3111TL”)0.8质量份、流平剂(BYK公司制“BYK-348”)0.5质量份以及水8.4质量份并混合,分别得到不挥发成分50质量%的水性涂料组合物(2-1)~(2-9)和(2-1’)~(2-3’)。
对所制造的水性涂料组合物(2-1)~(2-9)和(2-1’)~(2-3’)、以及使用水性涂料组合物(2-1)~(2-9)和(2-1’)~(2-3’)而得到的涂膜进行与上述同样的评价。将结果示于表3。
需要说明的是,比较例5的涂料组合物(2-2’)的颜料分散性极其不良,因此不实施光泽值以后的评价。

表3的结果也是与表2同样的结果。可知由以本发明的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂作为粘合剂树脂的水性涂料组合物得到的涂膜的光泽性和防蚀性优异。另一方面,可知在比较例4中,由于用于制造乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的聚合性单体的量多(环氧酯树脂的量少),因此光泽性和防蚀性差。可知在比较例5中,由于用于制造乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂的聚合性单体的量少(环氧酯树脂的量多),因此得不到颜料分散性。可知在比较例6中,由于乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂不具有稠合脂环结构,因而涂膜得不到光泽。
(合成实施例10和合成比较例4:溶剂分散体树脂组合物的制备)
与合成实施例1同样地操作而制备表4所示的组成的环氧酯树脂,使用表4所示的溶剂分别制造不挥发成分70质量%的树脂组合物(10)和(4’)。

(实施例19和比较例7:溶剂涂料组合物的制备、以及涂膜的形成和评价)
使用所制备的树脂组合物(10)和(4’)并通过以下方法制备涂料组合物,形成涂膜并评价其物性。
将所得到的各树脂组合物(10)和(4’)30.7质量份、氧化钛(Chemours公司制“Ti-Pure R-960”)25.0质量份、碳酸钙(MARUO CALCIUM株式会社制“SUPER S”)25.0质量份以及稀释剂(芳香族系烃溶剂,ENEOS株式会社制“T-SOL100 FLUID”)38.2质量份混合,用油漆搅拌器进行研磨60分钟而得到研磨基质(不挥发成分60质量%)。在所得到的研磨基质中,进一步加入各树脂组合物(10)和(4’)40.8质量份、金属干燥剂(DIC株式会社制“DICNATE SG-160”)0.6质量份、流平剂(BYK公司制“BYK-333”)0.5质量份以及乙酸丁酯39.2质量份并混合,分别得到不挥发成分50质量%的溶剂涂料组合物(3-10)和(3-4’)。
对所制造的溶剂涂料组合物(3-10)和(3-4’)、以及使用溶剂涂料组合物(3-10)和(3-4’)而得到的涂膜进行与上述同样的评价。将结果示于表5。

由表5的结果可知,由以本发明的环氧酯树脂作为粘合剂树脂的溶剂涂料组合物得到的涂膜的光泽性和防蚀性优异。另一方面,可知在比较例7中,由于环氧酯树脂不具有稠合脂环结构,因此涂膜得不到光泽。
Claims (15)
1.一种环氧酯树脂,其具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构。
2.根据权利要求1所述的环氧酯树脂,其为具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂与不饱和脂肪酸的反应产物、或者具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂与不饱和脂肪酸与多元羧酸的反应产物。
3.根据权利要求2所述的环氧酯树脂,其中,所述具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂为二环戊二烯型环氧树脂。
4.根据权利要求2或3所述的环氧酯树脂,其中,所述具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂的环氧当量为200g/当量~2000g/当量的范围。
5.根据权利要求2~4中任一项所述的环氧酯树脂,其中,所述不饱和脂肪酸为碳原子数6~40的不饱和脂肪族单羧酸。
6.根据权利要求2~5中任一项所述的环氧酯树脂,其中,所述具有稠合脂环结构的环氧树脂所具有的环氧基与所述不饱和脂肪酸及多元羧酸所具有的羧基的摩尔比、即环氧基:羧基为1∶1~1∶2的范围。
7.根据权利要求1~6中任一项所述的环氧酯树脂,其不含双酚结构。
8.一种乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂,其为以权利要求1~7中任一项所述的环氧酯树脂、以及聚合性单体作为反应成分的具有稠合脂环结构的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂,
所述具有聚合性不饱和基团和稠合脂环结构的环氧酯树脂与所述聚合性单体的质量比、即环氧酯树脂:聚合性单体为20∶80~80∶20的范围。
9.根据权利要求8所述的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂,其中,所述聚合性单体包含具有酸性官能团的聚合性单体,并且所述乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂还包含脂肪族胺作为所述反应成分。
10.根据权利要求8或9所述的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂,其酸值为20mgKOH/g~60mgKOH/g的范围。
11.一种树脂组合物,其含有权利要求1~7中任一项所述的环氧酯树脂或权利要求8~10中任一项所述的乙烯基改性环氧酯树脂。
12.根据权利要求11所述的树脂组合物,其含有选自硅酸金属盐、碳酸金属盐、硫酸金属盐、磷酸金属盐和亚磷酸金属盐中的1种以上的颜料。
13.根据权利要求11或12所述的树脂组合物,其为还含有水的水性树脂组合物。
14.一种涂料,其为权利要求11~13中任一项所述的树脂组合物。
15.一种物品,其具有权利要求14所述的涂料的涂膜。
