技术领域
本发明是有关于一种连接器组件,且特别是有关于一种板对板连接器组件。
背景技术
板对板连接器用于连接不同的电路板,具有插座连接器以及插头连接器以分别安装在不同的电路板上,藉此令电路板之间相互连接。在智慧手机等行动装置上,板对板连接器组件尺寸非常微小,导致各连接器的结构强度与寿命亦降低。
再者,上述结构强度降低还反应在公端(插头)与母端(插座)的插拔动作上,也就是部分结构因强度或端子弹力降低,导致在公端与母端相互拔离的过程中因结构干涉所产生的破坏。
据此,如何提高板对板连接器的结构强度,以维持并耐受公端、母端的插拔动作,实为相关技术人员所需思考解决的课题。
发明内容
本发明提供一种板对板连接器组件,包括彼此对接的插座连接器与插头连接器。插座连接器包括第一本体、多个第一端子与一对第一金属件。第一本体具有中岛结构与环绕中岛结构的第一容置槽。第一端子分别配置于第一容置槽中彼此相对的第一侧与第二侧。第一金属件分别配置于第一容置槽中彼此相对的第三侧与第四侧。第一金属件具有延伸至第三侧底部或第四侧底部的基部,以及从基部延伸出彼此背对的一对第一弹臂。
优选地,上述的第一弹臂与部分第一端子呈同线排列。
优选地,上述的第一弹臂是插座连接器的电源端子。
优选地,上述的第一金属件包括配置于第一本体周缘上的三个鞍部,彼此邻接排列成ㄇ字形,位于中间的鞍部延伸出上述的基部,各鞍部接触第一本体的三个相异表面。
优选地,上述的第一金属件包括配置于第一本体周缘上的三个鞍部,彼此邻接排列成ㄇ字形,第一弹臂分别朝向位于首位及末位的鞍部的内倾。
优选地,上述的第一金属件还包括第二弹臂,从基部延伸至中岛结构,第二弹臂位于第一弹臂之间。
优选地,上述的第一容置槽在第三侧与第四侧是贯孔,基部经由贯孔而从第一本体的底面暴露出。
优选地,上述的插头连接器包括第二本体、多个第二端子以及一对第二金属件。第二本体具有第二容置槽。第二端子分别配置在第二本体的相对两侧。第二金属件配置在第二本体的另一相对两侧。插头连接器与插座连接器对接时,第二本体插入第一容置槽,中岛结构插入第二容置槽,第一金属件通过第一弹臂抵接第二金属件。
优选地,上述的第二金属件包覆第二本体的相异五个表面。
优选地,上述的第二金属件还具有坡面,以在插头连接器与插座连接器对接时,坡面抵接并导引第一金属件的第二弹臂。
基于上述,板对板连接器组件是由彼此对接的插头连接器与插座连接器组成,其中插座连接器的一对第一金属件除了结合至第一本体的相对两侧之外,还进一步地形成延伸至第一本体之容置槽底的基部与从基部延伸出且彼此背对的第一弹臂。据此,所述第一弹臂能进一步地作为与插头连接器电性连接的结构,而提高板对板连接器组件之间的电性接触面积,而在具有较佳的结构稳定性前提下适于进行较大电流传输作业。

图1是本发明一实施例的板对板连接器组件的示意图。图2是图1的板对板连接器组件的爆炸图。请同时参考图1与图2,在本实施例中,板对板连接器组件10包括彼此对接的插座连接器100与插头连接器200,其中插座连接器100例如是配置在电路板21上,而插头连接器200例如是配置在电路板22上,以在插座连接器100与插头连接器200对接时,得以使电路板21、22之间的电性连接。
图3是图2的插座连接器的爆炸图。请同时参考图2与图3,本实施例的插座连接器100包括第一本体110、多个第一端子130与一对第一金属件120。第一本体110具有中岛结构111与环绕中岛结构111的第一容置槽112。第一端子130分别配置于第一容置槽112中彼此相对的第一侧R1与第二侧R2。第一金属件120分别配置于第一容置槽112中彼此相对的第三侧R3与第四侧R4。再者,第一金属件120具有延伸至第三侧R3底部或第四侧R4底部的基部A4,以及从基部A4延伸出且彼此背对的一对第一弹臂A5、A6。
进一步地说,如图3所示,第一金属件120包括配置于第一本体110周缘上的三个鞍部A1、A2与A3,且这些鞍部A1~A3彼此邻接排列成ㄇ字形而跨置于第一容置槽112旁,以使各鞍部A1~A3接触第一本体110的三个相异表面。以图3所示鞍部A3为例,其会接触于第一本体110的右侧面、顶面与第一容置槽112的内侧面。
图4是图2的插座连接器于另一视角的局部示意图。请同时参考图3与图4,此外,位于中间的鞍部A2进一步延伸出上述的基部A4,且第一容置槽112在第三侧R3与第四侧R4是贯孔,以让第一金属件120的基部A4会经由贯孔(图4是以第四侧R4为例)而从第一本体110的底面暴露出。
需说明的是,本实施例的第一端子130呈两列地配置于第一本体110,而第一金属件120的第一弹臂A5、A6分别与部分第一端子130呈同线排列,因此两个第一金属件110的四个第一弹臂A5、A6也是同前述两列地配置。据此,本实施例的第一弹臂A5、A6是作为插座连接器100的电源端子之用,且因第一金属件110具有较第一端子130大的体积与表面积,因此更能适应地进行大电流的传输。
此外,第一本体110具电绝缘性,而第一端子130与第一金属件120可藉由埋入射出(insert molding)而与第一本体110形成一体结构。对于第一本体110与第一金属件120而言,除了通过鞍部A1~A3接触于第一本体110的相异三表面而提高结合强度之外,第一金属件120尚通过其延伸至第一容置槽112底部的基部A4以及从基部A4延伸出的第一弹臂A5、A6,而在让第一弹臂A5、A6作为连接器的电源端子之用时还能据以提供较大接触面积,因此能让插座连接器100适于传输较大电流。
图5是图2的插头连接器的爆炸图。图6与图7分别是图1的板对板连接器组件于不同视角的剖面图,其中提供直角座标X-Y-Z以及中心轴C1,以利于辨识图6与图7的剖面方位。请先参考图2与图5,在本实施例中,插头连接器200包括第二本体210、多个第二端子230以及一对第二金属件220,其材质与结合一如前述的第一本体110、第一端子130与第一金属件120。第二本体210具有第二容置槽211。第二端子230分别配置在第二本体210的相对两侧。第二金属件220配置在第二本体210的另一相对两侧。如图2与图7所示,插头连接器200与插座连接器100对接时,第二本体210插入第一容置槽112,中岛结构111插入第二容置槽211,第一金属件120通过第一弹臂A5、A6抵接第二金属件220。
进一步地说,如图5所示,第二金属件220包括彼此邻接形成ㄇ字形轮廓的L形部件B1、B2与B3,各L形部件B1~B3分别接触第二本体210的一个顶面与一个侧面,而使这三个L形部件B1~B3局部环绕第二本体210,且相邻的两个L形部件B1、B2(或B2、B3)之间存在空隙,以使第二本体210的转角得以露出,而据以提供结构限位的效果。同时,位于中间的L形部件B2还进一步地形成延伸至第二本体210底面的两个L形部件B4、B5,进而让第二金属件220包覆第二本体210的相异五个表面。也如同前述的插座连接器100,第二金属件220与第二端子230是藉由埋入射出而与第二本体220成为一体结构,并藉由前述包覆特征而提高第二金属件220与第二本体210的结合强度。
请再参考图3、图5与图6,在本实施例中,第一金属件120还包括第二弹臂A7,从基部A4延伸至中岛结构111,第二弹臂A7位于所述彼此背对的第一弹臂A5、A6之间。再者,如图5与图6所示,第二金属件220还具有坡面221,其沿着相邻的三个L形部件B1~B3配置,且相对于连接器的插拔方向存在夹角,所述夹角小于或等于45度,以在插头连接器200与插座连接器100对接时,坡面221抵接并导引第一金属件120的第二弹臂A7,而能避免对接过程中因撞击导致端子受损。
请再参考图3与图7,本实施例的第一金属件120的鞍部A1、A3(即彼此邻接三个鞍部A1~A3的首位与末位)具有内倾A11、A31,而所述一对第一弹臂A5、A6分别朝向内倾A11、A31,此举除了能让内倾A11、A31在连接器对接时提供插头连接器200的导引之外,沿着插头连接器200与插座连接器100的插拔轴向(Z轴),内倾A11、A31还能作为阻挡第一弹臂A5、A6之用。需说明的是,所述阻挡并非一定发生,但此举在当插头连接器200(沿正Z轴方向)拔离插座连接器100,若因第一弹臂A5、A6对插头连接器200夹持力过高而导致变形且沿正Z轴方向被一同拔离时,由于内倾A11、A31的存在,则能确保前述情事得以被制止。
综上所述,在本发明的上述实施例中,板对板连接器组件是由彼此对接的插头连接器与插座连接器组成,其中插座连接器的一对第一金属件除了结合至第一本体的相对两侧之外,还进一步地形成延伸至第一本体之容置槽底的基部与从基部延伸出且彼此背对的第一弹臂。
据此,所述第一弹臂能与第一端子同呈两列配置而被作为插座连接器的电源端子,进而使具备较大面积的第一金属件除了以此提高与第一本体的结合强度之外,还能据以作为进行较大电流传输作业的凭据。再者,对应的插头连接器中,其第二金属件具有能与第一弹臂对应的坡面,据以作为连接器对接时的导引之用。此外,插座连接器还具有面对第一弹臂的内倾结构,除了与前述坡面一样具备的导引效果外,当插头连接器从插座连接器拔离而不幸导致第一弹臂变形且面临可能被拔离的情形时,内倾结构具备止挡第一弹臂的效果。
如此一来,板对板连接器组件便能依据上述简单结构,而在具备较佳的结构稳定性与插拔耐受性的前提下,进行较大电流传输作业。
Claims (11)
1.一种板对板连接器组件,其特征在于:
一插座连接器,包括:
一第一本体,具有一中岛结构与环绕所述中岛结构的一第一容置槽;
多个第一端子,分别配置于所述第一容置槽的一第一侧与一第二侧,所述第一侧与所述第二侧彼此相对;
一对第一金属件,分别配置于所述第一容置槽的一第三侧与一第四侧,所述第三侧与所述第四侧彼此相对,
其中所述第一金属件具有延伸至所述第三侧底部或所述第四侧底部的一基部,以及从所述基部延伸出彼此背对的一对第一弹臂;以及
一插头连接器,对接所述插座连接器。
2.如权利要求1所述的板对板连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第一弹臂与部分各所述第一端子呈同线排列。
3.如权利要求1所述的板对板连接器组件,其特征在于:各所述第一弹臂是所述插座连接器的电源端子。
4.如权利要求1所述的板对板连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第一金属件包括配置于所述第一本体周缘上的三个鞍部,彼此邻接排列成ㄇ字形,位于中间的所述鞍部延伸出所述基部,各所述鞍部接触所述第一本体的三个相异表面。
5.如权利要求1所述的板对板连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第一金属件包括配置于所述第一本体周缘上的三个鞍部,彼此邻接排列成ㄇ字形,所述对第一弹臂分别朝向位于首位及末位的各所述鞍部的内倾。
6.如权利要求1所述的板对板连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第一金属件还包括一第二弹臂,从所述基部延伸至所述中岛结构,所述第二弹臂位于所述对第一弹臂之间。
7.如权利要求1所述的板对板连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第一容置槽在所述第三侧与所述第四侧是贯孔,所述基部经由所述贯孔而从所述第一本体的底面暴露出。
8.如权利要求1所述的板对板连接器组件,其特征在于:所述插头连接器包括:
一第二本体,具有一第二容置槽;
多个第二端子,分别配置在所述第二本体的相对两侧;以及
一对第二金属件,配置在所述第二本体的另一相对两侧,其中所述插头连接器与所述插座连接器对接时,所述第二本体插入所述第一容置槽,所述中岛结构插入所述第二容置槽,所述对第一金属件通过各所述第一弹臂抵接所述对第二金属件。
9.如权利要求8所述的板对板连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第二金属件包覆所述第二本体的相异五个表面。
10.如权利要求1所述的板对板连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第二金属件还具有一坡面,以在所述插头连接器与所述插座连接器对接时,所述坡面抵接并导引所述第一金属件的一第二弹臂。
11.一种插座连接器,其特征在于:
一第一本体,具有一中岛结构与环绕所述中岛结构的一第一容置槽;
多个第一端子,分别配置于所述第一容置槽的一第一侧与一第二侧,所述第一侧与所述第二侧彼此相对;
一对第一金属件,分别配置于所述第一容置槽的一第三侧与一第四侧,所述第三侧与所述第四侧彼此相对,
其中所述第一金属件具有延伸至所述第三侧底部或所述第四侧底部的一基部,以及从所述基部延伸出彼此背对的一对第一弹臂。
