Abstract

一种有机发光二极管及显示面板,该有机发光二极管包括:第一电极(10)、第二电极(20)、发光层(14)、空穴阻挡层(15)和电子传输层(16);第一电极(10)与第二电极(20)相对设置;发光层(14)位于第一电极(10)与第二电极(20)之间;空穴阻挡层(15)位于发光层(14)与第二电极(20)之间;电子传输层(16)位于空穴传输层(15)和第二电极(20)之间,其中,空穴阻挡层(15)的HOMO能级与发光层(14)的HOMO能级的能级差值大于等于0.1eV,电子传输层(16)的HOMO能级与空穴阻挡层(15)的HOMO能级的能级差值大于等于0.1eV,由此,所述有机发光二极管的空穴阻挡层(15)和电子传输层(16)可有效阻挡空穴由发光层(14)传输至第二电极(20)侧,而是将空穴有利地限制在发光层(14)中,从而可提升发光层(14)中电子和空穴的数量,使较多的电子和空穴在发光层中复合,从而可提升有机发光二极管的发光效率。
