Description

Stable whitening and antioxidant composition and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of cosmetics. More particularly, relates to a stable whitening and antioxidation composition and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Vitamin C (also called ascorbic acid, VC) is an acidic hexose derivative, namely diluted alcohol type caprolactone, and has a molecular formula of C 6 H 8 O 6 . Vitamin C has high activity, can effectively inhibit tyrosinase activity as strong antioxidant in cosmetic field, and has effects of whitening skin and resisting aging, but Vc water solution is extremely unstable and is easily subjected to light, heat and O 2 And the like, and reduces the activity thereof.
In addition to being unstable in nature, high concentrations of vitamin C cosmetic compositions can provide an unpleasant application experience, such as an insufficient level of moisturization.
Disclosure of Invention
One of the objects of the present invention is to provide the use of an additive comprising polyethylene glycol for increasing the moisturising feel and improving the stability of a cosmetic composition comprising vitamin C.
In one embodiment of the invention, the use of an additive for improving the stability of vitamin C in an aqueous solution, said additive comprising at least:
1 to 10 weight percent of polyethylene glycol; and
1 to 20% by weight of vitamin C laurate.
The use of polyethylene glycol for stabilizing vitamin C is known, as is the irritation caused by it. However, during the course of the test, the deliberate effect was observed, and in the presence of vitamin C laurate, a small amount of polyethylene glycol was able to stabilize vitamin C in aqueous solution with superior stability, and this synergistic effect was not observed when other vitamin C esters were combined with polyethylene glycol.
In one embodiment of the invention, the use of an additive for increasing the moisturising feel and improving the stability of a cosmetic composition comprising vitamin C, said additive comprising at least:
1 to 10 weight percent of polyethylene glycol;
1 to 20% by weight of vitamin C laurate; and
1 to 10% by weight of vitamin E linoleate.
Surprisingly, it was found that the addition of vitamin E linoleate imparts a stronger moisturizing feel to the high content Vc cosmetic composition, which may be related to the stronger moisturizing effect of vitamin E linoleate, but is distinguished by the fact that the moisturizing feel of the cosmetic composition is improved while the effect of the polyethylene glycol to stabilize vitamin C is not affected, but is enhanced to a small extent, compared to other moisturizing ingredients, which are not observed in other types of moisturizers.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the additive is used for improving the moisturizing feel and improving the stability of a high-content vitamin C cosmetic composition, wherein the weight ratio of vitamin C laurate to polyethylene glycol to vitamin E linoleate is 1:0.1 to 1:0.1 to 1.
The weight ratio for vitamin C laurate, polyethylene glycol and vitamin E linoleate may be 1:0.1 to 1: any ratio between 0.1 and 1, but the amount of vitamin C laurate must be greater than the other two, preferably 1:0.5:0.2, 1:0.2:0.5, 1:0.5:0.5, and most preferably 1:0.2:0.5.
in one embodiment of the present invention, the vitamin C is added in an amount of 1 to 15% by weight to improve the moisturizing feel and stability of a high-vitamin C cosmetic composition. The amount of vitamin C can be any value between 1 and 15 percent, and can be stably stored in the system when the content of the vitamin C is up to 15 percent under the action of the additive.
The invention also provides a stable whitening and antioxidation composition, which at least comprises the following components:
1 to 15 wt% of vitamin C;
1 to 10 weight percent of polyethylene glycol; and
1 to 20% by weight of vitamin C laurate.
For the molecular weight of polyethylene glycol, lower molecular weight stabilizing effect was found to be superior to that of high molecular weight polyethylene glycol (this part of the experimental data is not disclosed), and polyethylene glycol 400 and polyethylene glycol 600, preferably polyethylene glycol 400, are the alternatives.
In one embodiment of the invention, the composition further comprises vitamin E linoleate.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the vitamin E linoleate is added in an amount of 1 to 10% by weight to the composition.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the weight ratio of vitamin C laurate, polyethylene glycol and vitamin E linoleate in the composition is 1:0.1 to 1:0.1 to 1.
The stable whitening and antioxidant composition of the present invention may be formulated as an essence, a suspension, preferably as an essence.
The stable whitening and antioxidant composition of the present invention may not include oils and fats, and the oils include, but are not limited to, vegetable oils and fats, and synthetic oils and fats, which can also increase the moisturizing feel of vitamin C to some extent, but can maintain good moisturizing feel without adding oils and fats in the composition containing the additive of the present invention.
The stable whitening and antioxidant composition of the present invention may not include other alcohols such as ethoxydiglycol, dipropylene glycol, glycerol, butylene glycol, etc., and although these alcohols can also improve the dissolution stability of vitamin C in aqueous solutions, the composition containing the additive of the present invention can exert satisfactory effect of stabilizing VC without the need of adding additional alcohols. In addition, these alcohols tend to be irritating to the skin, whereas the additives of the present invention, although containing the same alcohols, are less irritating to the skin than the prior art and in the synergy of vitamin C laurate and vitamin E linoleate.
The stable whitening and antioxidant composition of the present invention may include water, and although vitamin C is extremely unstable in aqueous solution, this phenomenon is improved to a great extent after the addition of the additive.
The stable whitening antioxidant composition of the present invention may also include a preservative.
If more efficacy is sought, the composition of the present invention may further comprise other plant efficacy ingredients, plant efficacy ingredients with a maintenance and comfort, plant efficacy ingredients with an antioxidant, plant efficacy ingredients with a moisture retention, etc., as long as the addition of these efficacy ingredients does not affect the stabilizing effect of the additive.
The invention has the following beneficial effects:
the invention overcomes the defects of poor stability and weak moisturizing feel of the existing high-content vitamin C cosmetic composition, provides an additive capable of increasing the moisturizing feel of the vitamin C cosmetic composition and improving the stability of the vitamin C cosmetic composition, and develops a stable whitening and antioxidant product.
