The present invention provides a saddle-ride type vehicle, including:
a fuel tank;
a cover covering the fuel tank; and
a covering member openably and closably provided to the cover for covering a filler cap of the fuel tank,
the covering member includes:
a hinge part rotating around a hinge shaft;
a cap cover portion that covers the fuel filler cap; and
an arm portion connecting the hinge portion and the cover portion,
a recess portion that is recessed downward in a state where the covering member is opened is provided between the arm portion and the cover portion.
Further, a saddle-ride type vehicle according to the present invention includes:
a fuel tank;
a cover covering the fuel tank;
a covering member openably and closably provided to the cover for covering a filler cap of the fuel tank,
the covering member includes:
a hinge part rotating around a hinge shaft;
a cap cover portion that covers the fuel filler cap; and
an arm portion connecting the hinge portion and the cover portion,
an article placement unit is provided between the arm unit and the cover unit, and the article placement unit can place an article thereon in a state where the cover member is open.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a saddle-ride type vehicle according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that, the drawings show the front, the rear, the upper, the lower, the left, and the right of the straddle-type vehicle as Fr, Rr, U, D, L, and R, respectively, as viewed in the direction of the reference numerals.
First, the overall structure of the saddle-ride type vehicle 1 (hereinafter, also simply referred to as "vehicle 1") will be described with reference to fig. 1.
As shown in fig. 1, in a vehicle 1, a frame 2 constituting a skeleton of a vehicle body 1a is covered with a vehicle body cover C. As shown by the broken lines in fig. 1, in the vehicle body frame 2, a main frame 4 extends rearward and downward from a head pipe 3 at a front portion of a vehicle body, and a pair of left and right seat rails 5, 5 are branched into left and right two legs at a rear end of the main frame 4 and extend rearward and upward.
In addition to the main frame 4, a pair of left and right down tubes 6, 6 extend downward from the head pipe 3, are bent and extend rearward in a floor region, are further bent upward in a rear portion of the floor region, and are connected to front end portions of the seat rails 5, 5. In the seat rails 5, the rear stays 7, 7 further extend from bent portions at rear portions of floor regions of the down tubes 6, and are connected to front-rear direction center portions of the seat rails 5, 5.
In the front portion of the vehicle body frame 2 configured substantially as described above, the steering rod 10 is rotatably inserted through the head pipe 3, the lower end of the steering rod 10 is integrally connected to the front fork 11 that pivotally supports the front wheel 12, and the handle 13 extends laterally from the upper end of the steering rod 10.
The fuel tank 37 is arranged between the main frame 4 and the left and right down tubes 6, and a seat 38 supported by the body cover C is provided above the seat rails 5, 5. The hanger 20h of the power unit 20 is swingably connected to the brackets 8, 8 which protrude rearward from the bent portions at the rear of the floor regions of the down tubes 6, 6 and downward from the front end portions of the rear stays 7, 7 via the link members 9.
In the power unit 20, a single-cylinder 4-stroke water-cooled internal combustion engine is provided at the front thereof, a cylinder block 32, a cylinder head 33, and a cylinder head cover 34 are arranged to overlap and project forward from a crankcase 31 in this order, and the cylinder axis is inclined forward at a large angle to be nearly horizontal.
In the power unit 20, the belt type continuously variable transmission 80 is provided at the rear portion thereof, and the rear wheel 21 is provided on a rear axle 115 as an output shaft of the reduction gear mechanism 110. A cushion member 22 is provided between a support bracket 15 provided at the rear end portion of the belt type continuously variable transmission 80 and the rear portion of the seat rail 5.
The vehicle body 1a is substantially covered with a vehicle body cover C from the front to the rear, but a step-over portion M inclined to follow the shape of the main frame 4 is provided between the handlebar 13 and the seat 38 at a position lower than the seat 38. A pair of left and right bottom steps 61, 61 on which the feet of an occupant seated in seat 38 are placed are provided on both left and right sides of step-over portion M. A center tunnel 62 having an upwardly convex bulging shape and extending in the front-rear direction is provided between the left and right bottom steps 61, 61.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the fuel tank 37 is provided with a filler opening 37h facing upward, and a filler cap 50 for sealing the filler opening 37h is detachably attached to the filler opening 37h from above. Therefore, an opening portion 62h is formed in the upper portion of the center tunnel 62 corresponding to the filler cap 50. The opening 62h is formed in a size that does not interfere with the attaching and detaching operation of the filler cap 50, and has a shape of, for example, a substantially pentagonal shape whose opening width is narrowed toward the rear when viewed from above.
Hereinafter, the structure of the covering member 40 will be described in detail with reference to fig. 2 to 5.
As shown in fig. 3, the covering member 40 includes a hinge portion 47 that pivots about a hinge shaft 48, a cover portion 41 that covers the filler lid 50, and an arm portion 46 that connects the hinge portion 47 and the cover portion 41.
In the cover member 40, the cover portion 41 having a shape corresponding to the opening 62h is supported by the arm portion 46 so as to be openable and closable. The cover portion 41 has a cover member surface portion 41s constituting an upper outer surface of the central passage 62 in a state where the cover member 40 is closed, and a cover member inner wall portion 41d having a slightly smaller contour than the cover member surface portion 41s and bulging so as to protrude inward of the opening portion 62 h. Further, an engaged portion 41e to which a catch 68 provided on the vehicle body cover C side is engaged is provided at the rear end of the cover portion 41.
The hinge portion 47 is rotatably held by, for example, a hinge shaft 48, and the hinge shaft 48 is supported by a shaft holding portion 65 attached to the inner surface of the vehicle body cover C. A torsion spring 49 is provided on the hinge portion 47, and the cover member 40 is urged in its opening direction by the torsion spring 49.
The arm portion 46 includes a first arm portion 46a connected to the hinge portion 47, a second arm portion 46b connected to the cover portion 41, and a bent portion 46v connecting the first arm portion 46a and the second arm portion 46b while being bent. The bent portion 46v preferably has a bent angle such that the first arm portion 46a and the second arm portion 46b form a substantially right angle or an acute angle.
In the cover member 40 configured as described above, as shown in fig. 1, the hinge portion 47 rotates about the hinge shaft 48, so that the cover portion 41 is substantially flush with the upper portion of the center tunnel 62 in the state where the cover member 40 is closed, and the cover portion 41 is in a substantially vertical standing posture in the state where the cover member 40 is open. The arm portion 46 is bent, whereby the hinge portion 47 is provided at a position invisible from the outside inside the vehicle body cover C. Further, in the arm portion 46, the first arm portion 46a and the second arm portion 46b are connected while being bent at the bent portion 46v, and therefore, in a state where the cover member 40 is opened, the second arm portion 46b collides with the vehicle body cover C above the hinge shaft 48 to maintain the opened state of the cover member 40.
Here, in the covering member 40, an article placing portion 44 is provided between the arm portion 46 and the cover portion 41. That is, in a state where the cover member 40, which is substantially vertically erected, is opened, the article placement portion 44, on which an article can be placed, is provided at the upper end portion of the second arm portion 46 b. Therefore, at the time of refueling, as shown in fig. 5, the fuel filler cap 50 or other article removed can be temporarily placed on the article placement portion 44 in a state where the covering member 40 is opened. Therefore, the filler cap 50 can be temporarily placed on the article placement portion 44 regardless of whether the filler cap 50 has a flange.
Further, since the cover member 40 is provided on the central passage 62, it is easy to place the cover member 40 in a low position when an article is placed on the article placing portion 44, in addition to easy opening and closing. As described above, in the arm portion 46, the first arm portion 46a and the second arm portion 46b are connected while being bent at the bent portion 46v, so that the article mounting portion 44 can be brought close to the fuel filler cap 50 (the fuel filler 37h) in a state where the cover member 40 is opened, as compared with a case where the bent portion 46v is not present.
As shown in fig. 2 and 4, the article placement portion 44 includes a flat surface 44ac substantially parallel to the ground surface in a state where the cover member 40 is open, and a circular recess 44a recessed downward from the flat surface 44 ac. In the cover member inner wall portion 41d of the cover portion 41, a recessed portion 41w is provided in a region where the flat surface 44ac and the recessed portion 44a are projected upward in a state where the cover member 40 is opened, and when an article is placed on the article placement portion 44, the cover member inner wall portion 41d is prevented from interfering with the article. The recess 44a includes a substantially circular bottom surface 44ab and a peripheral wall 44aw surrounding the bottom surface 44 ab.
Here, as shown in fig. 4, the recessed portion 44a has a substantially circular shape when viewed from above with the cover member 40 in an open state, and an inner diameter dimension W1, which is a length in the vehicle width direction, is configured to be larger than a length W2 in the vehicle width direction of the arm portion 46. Therefore, the width of the recess 44a can be ensured to be wider than the width of the arm 46, and a temporary storage space can be ensured over a wide range. As a result, large articles can be placed, and convenience is improved.
The inner diameter W1 of the recess 44a is larger than the outer diameter W5 (see fig. 3) of the lid bottom surface 50b of the filler lid 50. The vehicle width direction length W3 of the flat surface 44ac provided around the recess 44a is configured to be larger than the cover maximum diameter W4 (see fig. 3) of the fuel filler cap 50. Therefore, in the state where the cover member 40 is opened, the substantially circular cover bottom surface 50b can be temporarily placed in the recess 44 a. As shown in fig. 6 and 7, it is preferable that one or a plurality of projections 44af are annularly provided around the bottom surface 44ab of the recess 44a, and the outer diameter W6 of the region 44ag inside the projections 44af is narrower than the outer diameter W5 of the lid bottom surface 50b of the fuel lid 50. This can prevent the lid bottom surface 50b of the fuel lid 50 from contacting the bottom surface 44ab of the recess 44 a.
In the state where the cover member 40 is opened, the peripheral wall 44aw protruding upward from the bottom surface 44ab is formed, and thus the article temporarily placed on the article placement portion 44 or the filler cap 50 can be prevented from falling down by the peripheral wall 44 aw.
As shown in fig. 3, the peripheral wall 44aw of the recess 44a is directed downward in a state where the cover member 40 is closed. By the peripheral wall 44aw being directed downward in the closed state of the cover member 40, it is possible to prevent dust, dirt, and the like from entering the recess 44a in the closed state of the cover member 40.
The cover portion 41 extends upward from the front of the recess 44a in a state where the cover member 40 is open. Therefore, the cover portion 41 functions as a guide, and the accessibility (access) to the recess 44a is improved.
While various embodiments have been described above with reference to the drawings, it is needless to say that the present invention is not limited to these examples. It is apparent that those skilled in the art can conceive various modifications and alterations within the scope described in the claims, and it should be understood that these are also within the technical scope of the present invention. In addition, the respective constituent elements in the above embodiments may be arbitrarily combined without departing from the scope of the invention.
For example, in the above embodiment, the article placement unit 44 is configured such that the recess 44a for placing the article is provided on the flat surface 44ac, but the recess 44a is not essential, and may be configured by the flat surface 44 ac.
In the above embodiment, the article placing unit 44 has the following structure: although the recess 44a is provided in the flat surface 44ac, the peripheral wall 44aw is formed on the arm 46 side, and the article is prevented from falling by the peripheral wall 44aw, when the article placement unit 44 is configured by the flat surface 44ac, for example, the following configuration may be adopted: in the state where the covering member 40 is opened, the article is prevented from falling by the convex portion protruding upward from the flat surface 44 ac.
