Test section
1) Test for moisture retention
The Vapometer transdermal water loss meter is a fully portable instrument that can be used to measure TEWL (trans-epidermal water loss) values and evaporation rates. TEWL is a well-known indicator of skin barrier function.
The Vapometer is a battery-driven portable instrument. This provides great convenience and the possibility of difficult area measurements. The joints with different sizes can be replaced, and the possibility of measuring various parts of the human body is realized.
The detection principle is as follows: the core of the Vapometer is a sensitive humidity sensor located in a cylindrical measuring chamber. During the measurement, the chamber is closed by the skin or other measurement surface and is not affected by the ambient air flow. During the measurement, the sensor monitors the indoor Relative Humidity (RH) increase. Evaporation rate value (g/m) 2 h) Is automatically calculated based on the relative humidity increase. Between measurements, the laboratory is ventable, the ventilation time being automatically controlled.
The test method comprises the following steps: selecting 30 test volunteers, smearing samples on a marked area of 5 × 5 square centimeters of the inner area of the arm, standing for 30min in an environment with constant temperature of 20 ℃ and constant humidity of 50%, slightly and vertically pressing the equipment on the inner skin of the arm, and testing for three times to obtain a value by averaging. The calculation formula of the water increase rate is as follows:
moisture growth rate (test data after sample application for 30 min-value before sample application)/value before sample application.
The water content increase rates of 30 volunteers were averaged to obtain a water content average increase rate value.
The all-natural water-containing lip glaze of the above examples 1 to 4 was subjected to the related performance tests, and the test results are shown in table 1 below.
TABLE 1 results of performance test of all-natural water-containing lip glaze of examples 1 to 4
