Background
The skin is an important organ of human body, has complex tissue structure, is tightly connected with other organs of human body, plays a barrier role, and protects the human body from external stimulus and injury. In recent years, with the continuous innovation of skin care products and pharmaceutical technology and the improvement of living standard of people, natural, safe, environment-friendly and functional skin care products are increasingly popular with consumers. Therefore, the development of the liquid crystal structure face cream using the natural raw materials can not only meet the requirements of consumers on moisturizing and anti-wrinkle performance, but also bring new skin care experience to the consumers.
A large amount of literature research data show that the face cream with the liquid crystal structure has the following advantages compared with other common face creams: firstly, the liquid crystal protective layer is formed, so that the formula has better stability; secondly, the lamellar liquid crystal structure is similar to the structure of lipid among human skin keratinocytes, so that the lamellar liquid crystal structure has better skin affinity; thirdly, the lamellar liquid crystal structure can wrap the active ingredients, so that the stability of the active ingredients is improved, and meanwhile, the release of the active ingredients can be slowed down, so that the action of the active ingredients is maximized; fourth, the skin-care product has excellent non-sticky skin feel.
The moisturizing and anti-wrinkle cream with the lamellar liquid crystal structure is an emulsifying system different from common creams, and the liquid crystal layer can wrap retinol and hydroxy-pinacolone retinoate in a formula, so that the irritation of the retinol can be reduced, the retinol and the hydroxy-pinacolone retinoate can be promoted to permeate below a skin cuticle, other moisturizing components and polypeptide components are compounded, and the skin roughness, skin elasticity and fine wrinkles can be effectively improved.

Performance test:
experiment one: stability test
The test method comprises the following steps: the appearance of the samples was observed under a polarizing microscope by leaving the cream at 50, 40, 25, 5 and-18 ℃ for 12 weeks, and the results are shown in the following table:
in the system of example 1, the liquid crystal structure in the original system is destroyed when the anionic emulsifier, namely, cetyl phosphate potassium, is compounded; in the system of example 1, the replacement of the oils in the formulation with the highly polar oil diisostearyl malate also destroyed the liquid crystalline structure in the original system. In addition, the number of liquid crystal structures is reduced under high and low temperature conditions, but still within acceptable limits.
Experiment II: patch test
The testing method comprises the following steps: collecting 30 subjects meeting the requirements, selecting qualified patch equipment, placing about 0.020g-0.025g (solid) or 0.020mL-0.025mL (liquid) of the subject into a patch tester, applying a hyposensitization adhesive tape to the forearm curved side of the subject, removing the subject after 24 hours, observing skin response after 0.5, 24 and 48 hours respectively, and recording the results according to the skin response grading standard in the current effective technical specifications, wherein the results are shown in the following table:
/>
as can be seen from the data in the table, examples 1,2,3 and comparative example 2 do not have any adverse reaction; while comparative examples 1 and 3 have three adverse reactions, respectively, indicating the potential risk of irritation for comparative examples 1 and 3. The potential for adverse reactions in comparative examples 1 and 3 was due to retinol in the formulation; whereas examples 1,2, and 3 effectively encapsulate retinol due to the formation of a lamellar liquid crystal structure, thereby reducing direct contact with the skin.
Experiment III: short-term moisturizing test
The testing method comprises the following steps: the forearm of the subject was selected to have a measuring area of 2 x 2cm2, six sites were selected on both arms (for six experimental examples), and after cleaning, the product was applied to the area to be measured. The measurements of the moisture content of the stratum corneum in the area to be measured were carried out using a Corneometer (skin moisture tester) before use and 0h, 4h and 8h after use, respectively. The same site was measured 5 times, and the average value of 3 times was taken after excluding the maximum value and the minimum value. The values are the average of 5 subjects and the results are shown in the following table.
Parameter interpretation: the greater the stratum corneum moisture content value (core), the higher the stratum corneum moisture content of the skin.
From the data in the above table, the moisture increase rate of the horny layer was 52% after using the product of example 1 of the present application, and the moisture increase rate of the horny layer was still 34.2% after 8 hours of use. The skin moisture content after application of the product was significantly better than that of comparative examples 1,3, compared with comparative examples 1,3. It can be seen that the formulation containing the lamellar liquid crystal structure has more excellent moisture retention.
Experiment IV: long-acting anti-wrinkle test
Facial fine line wrinkle area and duty cycle were analyzed by IPP software using a VISIA-CR photograph. Parameter interpretation: the smaller the wrinkle area, the smaller the ratio, and the better the anti-wrinkle effect.
The using method comprises the following steps: subjects were divided into two groups of 15 subjects each. Using the half-face test, the first group of subjects used example 1 and comparative example 1 for their left and right faces, respectively; the second group of subjects used example 1 and comparative example 2 on their left and right faces. The using method comprises the following steps: the method is used once in the morning and evening every day, and facial image acquisition is carried out on the subjects after 2W and 4W respectively.
As can be seen from the data in the above table, using the products of inventive example 1 and comparative example 1, the wrinkle area was reduced by 15.2% and 10.7% after two weeks, respectively; after 4 weeks of use, the wrinkle area decreased by 17.9% and 13.4%, respectively. Therefore, the formula containing the liquid crystal structure has better anti-wrinkle effect. The possible reason is that the formulation of example 1 has a better permeability and thus a better anti-wrinkle effect, because the hydroxy pinacol retinol and retinol are encapsulated in the lamellar liquid crystal.
From the data in the above table, it can be seen that using the products of inventive example 1 and comparative example 2, the wrinkle area was reduced by 16.0% and 10.9% after two weeks, respectively; after 4 weeks of use, the wrinkle area was reduced by 17.1% and 12.4%, respectively. Thus, among the formulations containing liquid crystal structures, the formulations containing hydroxy pinacolone retinol and retinol have better anti-wrinkle effect.
In conclusion, the face cream provided by the application has a stable lamellar liquid crystal structure, and experiments show that the face cream has good moisturizing and anti-wrinkle effects.
The foregoing has shown and described the basic principles, principal features and advantages of the application. It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the present application is not limited to the embodiments described above, and that the above embodiments and descriptions are merely illustrative of the principles of the present application, and various changes and modifications may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the application, which is defined by the appended claims.
