第一夹爪10设置有第一刀槽50,并且第二夹爪12设置有相对的第二刀槽52,第一刀槽50和第二刀槽52两者被构造成接纳将完成的包装从待完成的包装分离的刀(未示出)。通常并且如图3所示,第一刀槽50和第二刀槽52分别设置在第一夹爪和第二夹爪的大约中间处。因此,参照第一夹爪10,在第一刀槽50的第一侧54(第一夹爪10的前导部(在膜行进方向F上))上设置有两个峰20,并且在第一刀槽50的第二侧56(第一夹爪10的跟随部(在膜行进方向上))上设置有两个峰20。
以类似的方式,参照第二夹爪12,在第二刀槽52的第一侧154(第二夹爪12的前导部(在膜行进方向F上))上设置有三个峰120,并且在第二刀槽52的第二侧156(第二夹爪12的跟随部(在膜行进方向F上))上设置有三个峰120。因为第一夹爪10和第二夹爪12是互补的,所以应当理解,当第一夹爪和第二夹爪朝向彼此前进或移动时,第一密封表面14上的峰20接近第二密封表面16上的谷126,反之亦然。
现在转到图5,示出了图3中所示的第一密封夹爪和第二密封夹爪的放大部分。应当理解,每个峰20、120的顶部是平坦的(22、122),以为每个峰20提供梯形形状。类似地,每个谷26、126是平坦的(27、127)。可替代地并且在图5中最佳地示出,图5是图4中所示的第一密封夹爪和第二密封夹爪的放大部分,每个峰20、120的顶部是弯曲的(24、124)。类似地,每个谷26、126是弯曲的(29、129)。
如前所述,每个峰20、120具有第一面30、130(前导面32、132)和第二面34、134(跟随面36、136)。将谷26、126平分(即,将谷26分成两个相等的部分)的假想线40、140限定第一角度A和第二角度B,第一角度A是由假想线40、140和第一面30、130产生的角度,第二角度B是由假想线40、140和第二面34、134产生的角度。
第一面30、130和第二面34、134形成为使得第一角度A不同于第二角度B。在一些情况下,第一角度A和第二角度B之间的差在约10°至约30°的范围内,并且在一些情况下相差约20°。
应当理解,刀槽50、52的第一侧54、154上的峰和谷形成包装的底部,而刀槽50、52的第二侧56、156上的峰和谷形成前一包装的顶部。因此,如果刀槽50、52的第一侧54、154上的峰20、120和谷26、126的形状轮廓是刀槽50、52的第二侧56、156上的峰20、120和谷26、126的镜像,则是有利的。
就这一点而言,在一个实施例中并且参考第一夹爪10,在刀槽50的第一侧54上,角度A大于角度B。在这种情况下,角度A在约25°至约60°、或约35°至约55°、或约40°至约50°的范围内,并且在一些情况下为约45°。角度B在约15°至约35°、或约20°至约30°的范围内或为约25°。
当第一刀槽50的第二侧56上的峰和谷的形状轮廓是第一刀槽50的第一侧54上的峰和谷的形状轮廓的镜像时,角度A小于角度B。在这种情况下,角度A的范围为约15°至约35°,或约20°至约30°,或约25°。角度B在约25°至约60°、或约35°至约55°、或约40°至约50°的范围内,并且在一些情况下为约45°。

当第二刀槽52的第二侧156上的峰和谷的形状轮廓是第二刀槽52的第一侧154上的峰和谷的形状轮廓的镜像时,角度A大于角度B。在这种情况下,角度A在约25°至约60°、或约35°至约55°、或约40°至约50°的范围内,并且在一些情况下为约45°。角度B在约15°至约35°、或约20°至约30°的范围内或为约25°。
在峰和谷的上述构造的情况下,特别是在限定的角度A和B不对称的情况下,应当理解,每个峰20、120(凸台或脊)将“偏心”地进入相对且互补的谷26、126。相信这种布置将在角度A或角度B较小的那些区域中产生较高的张力,并且进而将产生更强的密封。本领域技术人员将理解,在这种情况下,密封的较强部分将是来自包装内部的前缘。

6、根据前述条款中任一项所述的密封夹爪,其中,当所述相对的可热密封表面横穿所述一对配合的密封夹爪时,所述第一夹爪上的每个峰的所述第一面限定前导面,并且所述第一夹爪上的每个峰的所述第二面限定跟随面。
7、根据前述条款中任一项所述的密封夹爪,其中在所述刀槽的所述第一侧上,所述第一角度大于所述第二角度,并且在所述刀槽的所述第二侧上,所述第一角度小于所述第二角度。
8、在用于在相对的可热密封表面之间形成密封的一对配合的密封夹爪中,其中每个夹爪具有由谷分开的至少两个峰,改进之处在于包括将谷平分的假想线在假想线和峰的第一面之间限定第一角度,并且在假想线和相邻峰的第二面之间限定第二角度,使得所述第一角度不同于所述第二角度。
Claims (8)
1.一对配合的密封夹爪,所述一对配合的密封夹爪用于在相对的可热密封表面之间形成密封,所述一对配合的密封夹爪包括:
第一夹爪,所述第一夹爪具有密封表面,所述密封表面包括由谷分开的至少两个峰,其中,每个峰包括第一面和第二面,并且其中平分所述谷的假想线限定所述假想线与所述第一面之间的第一角度,并且限定所述假想线与所述第二面之间的第二角度,使得所述第一角度不同于所述第二角度;以及
第二夹爪,所述第二夹爪具有与所述第一夹爪的密封表面互补的密封表面。
2.根据权利要求1所述的一对配合的密封夹爪,其中,所述第一角度和所述第二角度之间的尺寸差在约10°至约30°的范围内。
3.根据权利要求1所述的一对配合的密封夹爪,其中,所述第一夹爪包括刀槽,并且所述第二夹爪包括与所述第一夹爪的所述刀槽相对的刀槽。
4.根据权利要求3所述的一对配合的密封夹爪,其中,所述第一夹爪在所述第一夹爪的所述刀槽的第一侧上的所述密封表面具有轮廓,所述轮廓是所述第一夹爪的所述刀槽的第二侧上的所述密封表面的镜像。
5.根据权利要求4所述的一对配合的密封夹爪,在所述第一夹爪的所述密封表面上包括在所述第一夹爪的所述刀槽的所述第一侧上的由谷分开的至少两个峰和在所述第一夹爪的所述刀槽的所述第二侧上的由谷分开的至少两个峰。
6.根据权利要求5所述的一对配合的密封夹爪,其中,当所述相对的可热密封表面横穿所述一对配合的密封夹爪时,所述第一夹爪上的每个峰的所述第一面限定前导面,并且所述第一夹爪上的每个峰的所述第二面限定跟随面。
7.根据权利要求6所述的一对配合的密封夹爪,其中,在所述刀槽的所述第一侧上,所述第一角度大于所述第二角度,并且在所述刀槽的所述第二侧上,所述第一角度小于所述第二角度。
