根据本发明,在密封装置的保持元件中设置有密封元件,密封元件设计成使得密封元件具有与保持元件接触的至少两个径向接触点和在每种情况下与一个内环接触的至少一个径向接触点,并且接触点中的至少一个接触点设计成使得所述至少一个接触点具有平坦面。该平坦面增加了在密封装置的区域中产生的粘附力,这可以提高密封性能。在从现有技术中已知的尖表面的情况下,始终需要附加的介质在密封上施加所需的压力。根据本发明的实施方式的另一优点是,接触点及其接触区域在整个使用寿命期间保持不变。此外,平坦面防止密封元件在使用寿命期间发生折叠。因此,根据本发明,设置有气密密封和自锁密封装置,气密密封和自锁密封装置可靠且不费力地防止异物的进入和/或防止润滑剂经由内环的抵接的端面迁移进入或离开轮轴承单元的布置有滚动元件的空间。
根据本发明的实施方式,密封元件具有至少一个引入倒角,其中,引入倒角由第一角度和第二角度形成。角度的大小通常取决于周围部件的引入倒角。有利地,第一角度至少是15°。第二角度被设计成稍陡并且至少是20°。引入倒角允许密封元件被简单地推动到内环上。
优选地,密封元件具有取决于材料硬度的最小轮廓厚度。为了确保密封效果不降低,最小轮廓厚度必须以下述方式进行选择:结合所选的材料硬度,密封唇缘对周围部件施加足够大的接触力以保证足够的密封效果。最小轮廓厚度也以下述方式进行选择:在密封元件材料上存在介质和可能的化学表面应力以及温度应力的情况下,基本的密封功能继续由充分未受损的芯材料提供。例如,密封元件的最小轮廓厚度与最小高度的比率可以为85肖氏A:最小6:1或70肖氏A:最小8:1。
根据本发明的实施方式,密封装置布置在内环的公共环形凹槽中,内环的公共环形凹槽由内环的相互面向的端面的区域中的凹陷形成。通过提供该密封装置,可以使密封元件实现充分的径向张紧。另外,凹陷在相应的内环上形成边缘,这些边缘同时用于对密封装置进行对准、对中和定位。
根据本发明的替代性实施方式,保持元件被设计成U形并且具有借助于周向腹板连接的两个侧环。这确保了密封元件在轮轴承单元的组装和操作期间固定地保持在保持元件中。另外,这可以防止密封元件的轴向移位。
优选地,侧环中的至少一个侧环形成定位辅助件,该定位辅助件在环形凹槽的边缘上对中并定位。
优选地,侧环中的至少一个侧环具有至少一个中断部。有利地,若干中断部设置成围绕圆周均匀分布在两个侧环上。这使得能够在保持元件的制造期间实现具有成本效益的脱模。另外,保持元件的这种设计便于密封元件的组装,以及在轮轴承单元上的最终组装。
根据本发明的实施方式,密封环由橡胶弹性材料制成。这使得可以实现密封元件在保持元件中的特别良好的嵌套。
优选地,保持元件由塑料制成。
优选地,滚动元件设计为锥形滚子。然而,滚动元件也可以是适用于重型商用车辆或者用于高负荷传动的针形滚子、柱形滚子、桶形滚子或球形滚子。替代性地,还可以设想到球形滚动元件。

具体实施方式
图1示出了根据本发明的轮轴承单元1的纵向截面。轮轴承单元设计为双列锥形滚子轴承2。锥形滚子轴承2具有内环3和外环4。锥形滚子5布置在由内环3和外环4形成的运转表面之间,该锥形滚子在运转表面上滚动。
两个内环3中的每个内环的一个端面6相互承靠并且因此形成界面7。设置有密封装置8以对该界面7进行密封。如从图1中可以看出,两个内环3形成环形凹槽9。这是由两个内环3中的相应的凹陷形成的。
密封装置8由环形保持元件10形成,环形保持元件上设置有至少一个密封元件11。密封元件被设计为密封环12。密封环12由橡胶弹性材料制成。现在参照图2、图3和图4来对密封元件11进行更详细说明。密封环12具有与保持元件10接触的两个接触点13、14以及与各个内环3接触的接触点15、16。借助于这种特殊的设计,密封环12在安装期间被径向地按压抵靠内环3并相应地径向张紧。这提供的优点是,即使内环3轴向移位,密封元件11的径向密封或径向张紧仍然不受影响。
接触点13、14、15、16中的至少一个接触点被设计成使得所述至少一个接触点具有平坦面X。该平坦面增加了在密封装置8的区域中产生的粘附力,这可以提高密封性能。在从现有技术中已知的密封元件11的尖表面的情况下,始终需要附加的介质在密封上施加所需的压力。根据本发明的实施方式的另一优点是,接触点13、145、15、16及其接触区域在整个使用寿命期间保持不变。此外,平坦面防止密封元件11在使用寿命期间发生折叠。
密封元件11具有至少一个引入倒角,并且其中,引入倒角由第一角度a和第二角度b形成。角度a、b的大小通常取决于周围部件的引入倒角。有利地,第一角度至少是15°。第二角度被设计成稍陡并且至少是20°。引入倒角允许密封元件11被简单地推动到内环3上。
如从图5中还可以看出,密封元件11具有最小轮廓厚度y。最小轮廓厚度取决于材料的硬度。为了确保密封效果不降低,最小轮廓厚度必须以下述方式进行选择:结合所选的材料硬度,密封元件11对周围部件施加足够大的接触力以保证足够的密封效果。最小轮廓厚度也以下述方式进行选择:在密封元件材料上存在介质和可能的化学表面应力以及温度应力的情况下,基本的密封功能继续由充分未受损的芯材料提供。
图6a和图6b示出了根据本发明的轮轴承单元的密封装置的位置变化以及从现有技术中已知的轮轴承单元的密封装置的位置变化。图6a示出了根据本发明的实施方式,并且图6b使用了来自现有技术的密封元件22。如从图6a中可以看出,密封元件11的密封效果与密封元件11在密封件本身的轴向移动或内环3的轴向移动L期间的位置变化无关。接触点13、14、15、16始终被设计为平坦面X并且在任何移动期间保持不变。相比之下,图6b示出了接触点23受到密封元件22的轴向移动L的影响。尖的接触点23在轴向移动L期间发生折叠,并且因此在位置改变后接触点被最小化。
图7示出了密封装置8的设计。保持元件10被设计成U形并且具有借助于周向腹板19连接的两个侧环17、18。这确保了密封元件11固定地保持在保持元件8中。
如还可以看出的,侧环设计成使得侧环具有围绕圆周分布的若干中断部20、21。侧环17、18同时形成定位辅助件,该定位辅助件在环形凹槽9的边缘上对中并定位。

Claims (9)

1.一种轮轴承单元,所述轮轴承单元具有至少一个外环(4)和至少两个内环(3),在所述至少一个外环与所述至少两个内环之间布置有在保持架中被导引的滚动元件,两个相邻的内环(3)通过其相互面对的轴向端面(6)彼此承靠,并且设置有密封装置(8),以对所述两个内环(3)的界面进行密封,所述密封装置(8)由环形保持元件()形成,并且在所述保持元件(10)上设置有至少一个密封元件(11),所述密封元件(11)呈密封环(12)的形式,所述密封环具有与所述保持元件(10)接触的至少两个接触点(13、14)和在每种情况下与一个内环(3)接触的至少一个接触点(15、16),其特征在于,所述接触点(13、14、15、16)中的至少一个接触点设计成使得所述至少一个接触点具有平坦面(X)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的轮轴承单元,其中,所述密封元件(11)具有至少一个引入倒角,并且其中,所述引入倒角由第一角度(a)和第二角度(b)形成。
3.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的轮轴承单元,其中,所述密封元件(11)具有取决于材料硬度的最小轮廓厚度(y)。
4.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的轮轴承单元,其中,所述密封装置(8)布置在所述内环(3)的公共的环形凹槽(9)中,所述环形凹槽由所述内环(3)的相互面向的端面(6)的区域中的凹陷形成。
5.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的轮轴承单元,其中,所述保持元件(10)被设计成U形并且具有借助于周向腹板(19)连接的两个侧环(17、18)。
6.根据权利要求4所述的轮轴承单元,其中,所述侧环(17、18)中的至少一个侧环形成定位辅助件,所述定位辅助件在所述环形凹槽(9)的边缘上对中并定位。
7.根据权利要求4所述的轮轴承单元,其中,所述侧环(17、18)中的至少一个侧环具有至少一个中断部(20、21)。
8.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的轮轴承单元,其中,所述密封元件(12)由橡胶弹性材料制成。
9.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的轮轴承单元,其中,所述保持元件(10)由塑料制成。
