Abstract

Description

密封式电气接插组件
本发明总的说来涉及电气接插件制品,具体地说,涉及一种绝缘层移位式的密封电气接插组件。
电气接插件的应用面广,包括那些为避免受使用场所或环境影响而必须加以密封的接插件的应用场合。实际上,某些接插件为了保护其内部零件不致受水分的影响而加以密封,必须是防水的。举例说,防水接插件就用在地下工程,例如与灌溉阀结合使用。防水或密封式接插件还用在控制器材、泵等之类的船舶用途中。为避免受环境的影响而密封的接插件还广泛用于汽车或其它车辆的用途中。
有一种端接电气导线用的密封或防水式接插件叫做拼接或分接接插件。这些接插件往往需要将导线线端塞入接插件一端的孔中,直到在接插件中适当就位为止。接着,迫使导线与接触元件相互接合,由接触元件使导线在电气上互连或拼接在一起。
此外,拼接或分接接插件往往是作为绝缘层移位式接插件提供的。绝缘层移位式接插件用来互连包有外绝缘层的电气导线。接插件的导电接触元件能有效地切透导线的绝缘层,与导线的芯线导体接触而无需将绝缘层从导线上剥除或将接线端子压接到裸导线上。
迄今,具有上述性能的一般密封式接插件,特别是防水接插件,其外壳的内部空间通常都充以防水脂或防水胶,使水分不能侵入接插件中。但这类接插件经常会出现这样的问题:随着时间的推移,防水油脂或防水胶会从接插件中漏掉,从而使接插件丧失其密封能力。此外,充胶的这种辅助工序很花时间,很昂贵的,给本来是简单廉价的接插件增加了成本。
本发明旨在解决上述这些问题,提供一种极其简单却非常有效的密封式电气接插件,特别是绝缘层移位式的那一种。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种新型的经改进的密封式电气接插组件,供互连两根或多根导线用。接插组件可以是绝缘层移位式的,供互连两根或多根绝缘电气导线用。
本发明一个典型实施例的接插组件,其壳体由两个硬度不同的部分组成,插头部分硬度较大,密封部分较具弹性或较柔韧,两部分中都具有相应的沟道,供承接导线用。较硬的壳体插头部分中装有可移动的导电接触元件,用来住绝缘层移位并将导线在电气上互连起来。较具弹性或较柔韧的密封盖可与壳体伸缩,盖住刚硬的插头部分和接触元件。壳体和盖具有互补式相互接合的锁定密封部分,供使壳体和盖保持相互接合的密封状态。
这里公开的接插组件,其壳体刚硬的插头部分有一沟槽,与各沟道相交,供可移动地装设接触元件之用。壳体的弹性密封部分有密封件,呈柔韧肋条或回旋体的形式,与弹性部分形成一个整体,将导线抱住。刚硬的插头部分由硬度较大的热塑性材料制成,弹性密封部分由硬度较小的热塑性材料制成。壳体与盖之间的互补式相互接合锁定密封件是由两个回旋体互相接合形成的。
本发明的另一个特点是打算配备有栓定件将密封盖与壳体的密封部分互连起来。此外,盖、壳体的密封部分和栓定部分也可以全部都用硬度小的热塑性材料制成一个整体。
从下面结合附图所作的详细说明可以清楚了解本发明的其它目的、特点和优点。
本说明书所附的权利要求书中详细说明了本发明相信是新颖的特点。要彻底理解本发明连同其目的和优点最好参看下面结合附图所作的说明。附图中,同样的编号表示图中同样的元件,其中;
图1是体现本发明原理的密封式电气接插组件的透视图,图中组件的盖在壳体上全装配好;
图2是接插组件的部件分解透视图,接触元件已从壳体上除去,盖也已从壳体上卸除;
图3是沿图1的3-3线截取的总体剖视图;
图4是图3元件的部件分解纵向剖视图;以及
图5是壳体和盖在拆卸状态下的平面俯视图,清楚地例示出其栓定构件。
现在更详细地参阅各附图,先参阅图1和图2。本发明涉及的是密封的绝缘层移位式接插组件10,供互连两根或多根绝缘电气导线12之用。如图中所示,具体的接插件是供互连三根电气导线用的。每根导线都有芯线12a用外绝缘层或外套12b包起来。接插组件10的结构非常简单,成本不高,通常由三个主要部分组成,即双硬度壳体14、较具弹性的密封盖16和板状导电接触元件18。
更具体地说,接插组件10的双硬度壳体14包括较硬的插头部分20和较具弹性或柔韧的密封部分22。硬插头部分20由硬度较大的热塑性材料制成,弹性密封部分22由硬度较小的热塑性材料制成。制造时,可以先模塑插头部分,然后再将密封部分插入模塑到插头部分中,形成整体的双硬度壳体。不然也可以将插头部分在接口部分23粘接固定或连接到密封部分。壳体中形成有导线收容通道或沟道24,这稍后即将更详细地介绍。
接插组件10的导电接触元件18是通过沿箭头A的方向将接触元件插入槽26(图2)而可移动地装设在壳体14的硬插头部分20上的。接触元件18呈板状,具有三个缺口或槽口28供切入导线12的绝缘层12b中,从而使缺口的边缘与导线的芯线12a电接合,将各导线互连或拼接在一起。
接插组件10的密封盖16可与壳体14一起伸缩,将壳体的插头部分20和接触元件18盖住。密封盖呈帽状,里面形成封闭腔30(图2)供容纳壳体之用,其口32与该封闭腔连通,供往空腔中插入壳体之用。盖16借助于栓定绳34与壳体14栓定在一起,栓定绳与盖和壳体的密封部分连接并形成一个整体。制造时,盖、壳体的弹性部分22和栓定绳全由硬度较小的热塑性材料制成或模塑成一个整体。
结合图1和图2参阅图3和图4,可以看到,导线12插入沟道24中直到靠在壳体14硬插头部分20的内表面36上为止。此外,还可以看到壳体的硬插头部分的槽口26如何与沟道相交,从而使导电接触元件18可以移动,使导线的绝缘层移位,将各导线互连或拼接在一起。
通常,壳体14密封部分22的沟道24中有个密封件抱住导线12或与导线12部分接合用。具体地说,密封件由模塑在沟道内表面具与壳体的弹性部分模塑成一个整体的韧性肋条或回旋体38所限定。肋条弹性地抱绕着导线,并将导线和接插件的内部密封起来,使其与环境隔绝。
从图4中可以看得最清楚,壳体14和盖16两者的互补相互接合锁定密封件将壳体14和盖16保持在相互接合的密封状态。具体地说,肋条或回旋体40与壳体14的弹性密封部分22的外侧模塑成一个整体,沟槽42则在弹性盖16内侧模塑成一个整体。在导线12沿箭头B(图4)的方向插入壳体14的沟道24且接触元件18因沿箭头A的方向移动而与各导线互连之后,这个子组件就沿箭头C(图4)的方向插入弹性盖16中。
图3示出了完全装配好的接插件。从图中可以看到,包绕着壳体弹性密封部分22的外侧的肋条或回旋体40坐落在盖内侧相应的沟槽或回旋体42中。盖的尺寸应取得便于壳体插入,同时在肋条40与沟槽42之间起很好的密封作用。肋条和沟槽的这种回旋形结构不仅起密封件作用。而且还起互补相互接合的锁定件作用,使壳体和盖保持在图1和图3所示的相互接合的密封状态。向外突出的肋条44也可以与盖16模塑成一个整体,以便于将弹性盖夹持住和装配接插件。
最后,图5示出了盖16是如何助于栓定绳34与壳体14的弹性密封部分22连接的。上面说过,先是模塑制成壳体的硬插头部分20,然后将双硬度壳体较有弹性的密封部分22模塑插入较硬的插头部分或与该部分连接。但在盖16借助于栓定绳34与壳体的弹性密封部分连接的情况下,盖、栓定绳和弹性密封部分三者的整个子组件可以按简单实惠的单项工序模塑插入或连接到壳体的硬插头部分中。唯一剩下的装配工序是将导电(金属)接触元件18插入壳体硬部分的槽口26中,这时接插组件就可以接收及拼接导线12了。这样,对接插组件10应做的装配和端接工序特别简单了。
不言而喻,在不脱离本发明的精神实质或主要性能的前提下,本发明是可以按其它具体形式实施的。因此,这里的实例和实施例,无论在哪一方面都应视为举例说明的性质,而不是对本发明的限制,本发明并不局限于这里说明的细节。

Claims (8)

1.一种密封的绝缘层移位式电气接插件(10),供互连两根或多根电气绝缘导线(12)用,所述接插件的特征在于包括:
双硬度壳体(14),包括较硬的部分(20)和较有弹性的部分(22),各部分中有至少两个沟道(24),供承接导线用;
导电接触元件(18),可移动地装设在壳体的硬部分,适合使绝缘层(12b)移位和电气上互连各导线;
较有弹性的盖(16),可与壳体(14)一起伸缩,将其硬部分(20)和所述接触元件(18)盖住;且
所述壳体(14)和盖(16)具有互补相互接合的肋条和沟槽(40,42),使壳体和盖保持密封状态。
2.如权利要求1所述的接插件,其特征在于,壳体(14)的所述硬部分(20)有一个槽口(26)与沟槽(24)相交,供可移动地装设接触元件(18)用。
3.如权利要求1所述的接插件,其特征在于,壳体(14)所述弹性部分(22)的沟道(24)中有若干整体的韧性密封肋条(38)供包绕导线(12)用。
4.如权利要求1所述的接插件,其特征在于,壳体(14)的所述较硬部分(20)由聚丙烯材料制成。
5.如权利要求1所述的接插件,其特征在于,壳体(14)的所述较有弹性部分(22)由热塑性弹性体材料制成。
6.如权利要求1所述的接插件,其特征在于,所述盖(16)里面有个内空腔(30)供容纳壳体(14)用,盖(16)的口(32)与空腔(30)连通,供往其中插入壳体用。
7.如权利要求1所述的接插件,其特征在于,它有一个栓定件(34),供将盖(16)与壳体(14)的弹性部分(22)互连之用。
8.如权利要求7所述的接插件,其特征在于,所述盖(16)、所述壳体(14)的弹性部分(22)和所述栓定件(34)全都由合成橡胶材料制成一个整体。
