Background
The cyperus esculentus is also called cyperus esculentus, is foreign and called underground walnut or underground almond, is originally produced in Africa and Mediterranean regions, belongs to cyperaceae perennial herbaceous plants, is cultivated as annual crops in production, and is a novel multipurpose crop of oil and grain with high quality, high yield and high comprehensive utilization value. The cost for planting cyperus esculentus is low, the yield is high, the yield per mu is over 500kg generally, the oil yield is 30-40 percent generally, the oil color is clear and reddish, no precipitate is generated, the fragrance is strong, no peculiar smell is generated, the cyperus esculentus is rich in protein and amino acid, the nutritive value is extremely high, the cyperus esculentus is top-grade edible oil, and the quality is superior to that of rapeseed oil, sesame oil and the like, so the cyperus esculentus is called as 'king of oil plants'. The cyperus esculentus can be processed into food for sale except for oil extraction, can be eaten raw, fried and fried, has fragrant and sweet taste, and is called as underground Chinese chestnut and underground walnut. The cake meal after oil extraction is slightly sweet and fragrant, can be processed for making cakes, making soy sauce and vinegar, and also can be used for extracting high-quality starch, sugar, cellulose and wine brewing, and the remaining powder residue is a good concentrated feed for the breeding industry; the stem leaves of cyperus esculentus are slender and tough, and are ideal raw materials for weaving handicrafts.
The fertilizer, especially the nitrogen fertilizer, cannot be separated in the growth process of the cyperus esculentus, but the nitrogen fertilizer commonly used at present has low nitrogen element release efficiency, so that the root system of the plant cannot be well fixed with nitrogen for absorption.
