The applicant carried out a follow-up treatment observation for 8 weeks on 108 stubborn patients with lumbar edema after delivery (waist circumference greater than 85cm, complaint about diet therapy or ineffective combination with other medications) treated with the herbal medicine of the invention, half of the patients were given the sample of example 8 and the remaining half of the patients were given the sample of comparative example. The treatment method comprises the following steps: adding 5 eggs into 70g (1 bag) each time, stirring to paste, uniformly coating the paste on waist skin, wrapping and fixing with gauze, removing the gauze after 6h, and washing the skin with warm water. The Chinese herbal medicine for clearing damp and dispelling cold according to claim 4, characterized by comprising the following raw material components in parts by weight: 10 parts of rosin, 10 parts of folium artemisiae argyi, 30 parts of clove, 5.7 parts of sheep tail oil, 14.3 parts of flour, 5 parts of motherwort, 5 parts of angelica, 8 parts of centipede and 8 parts of hop.

(1) mixing sheep tail oil and flour, and parching until the sheep tail oil is completely absorbed by the flour to obtain sheep tail oil-parched flour;
(2) respectively crushing rosin, folium artemisiae argyi, clove, motherwort herb, Chinese angelica, centipede and hops to obtain raw material powder, and uniformly mixing the raw material powder with sheep tail oil fried flour to obtain the Chinese herbal medicine for dispelling dampness and dispelling cold.
