Description

Method for making artificial old stump bonsai
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of gardening, in particular to a method for manufacturing an artificial old stump bonsai.
Background
The golden seal elm has dense branches, is resistant to trimming and easy to shape, has golden and bright leaves, and is an excellent material for manufacturing the colorful leaf bonsai. In order to highlight the vicissitudes of the bonsai, the old elm stumps are required to be grafted and modeled.
However, most of old-stake bonsais manufactured by the prior art are old stakes of elms of the seedling elms directly dug, and the old stakes are formed in one step by traditional technical means such as grafting, carving and stone attachment in the later period, so that the damage to the trees is large, the grafting survival rate is reduced, and the survival rate is only 30-50%.
In addition, part of old elm piles are hollow and have no xylem, and cannot be grafted into golden elm.
Therefore, how to save more labor and time and simultaneously highlight the purpose of protecting natural resources is to provide a method for artificially making an old elm stake bonsai, which is a problem to be solved urgently by the technical personnel in the field.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the invention provides a method for manufacturing an artificial old pile bonsai.
The invention highlights the manual old-making method, the planting soil is gradually removed, the ageing of the bark is accelerated by incising and smearing edible alkali and vinegar, so as to form old elm piles, the grafting of the golden seal elm is completed in advance before the old piles are formed, the influence of the manual old-making stumps on the golden seal elm is avoided, and the survival rate is ensured to be higher than 90%.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:
a method for manufacturing an artificial old stump bonsai comprises the following steps:
(1) selecting Ulmus pumila, cutting off main root, retaining complete lateral root and main stem, transplanting into culture soil, and culturing;
(2) when the trunk begins to sprout, bark is inserted and grafted, and golden elm is grafted:
21) cutting off the stock and flattening the stubble;
22) longitudinally cutting an incision on the phloem at the cross section of the stock, and splitting the phloem along the incision to two sides; cutting the lower part of the scion into a scion inclined plane, and cutting off the epidermis to expose the phloem on the back and two sides;
23) then the scion inclined plane faces the xylem and is inserted along the cut of the stock;
24) sheathing a bag on the scion, and then binding the cross section of the stock tightly;
(3) trimming and shaping: pruning the branches, and then keeping the growth of the branches in the horizontal direction; pruning and shaping the branches;
(4) training:
41) after the plants enter a rainy season, reducing the height of culture soil, placing the plants under 45-50% shaded illumination, carrying out mist water spraying on the exposed rootstocks four times a day, after 14-15 days, placing the plants under open full illumination, continuously keeping water spraying, and after 14-15 days, stopping water spraying;
42) culturing in the open air to the beginning of 11 months;
43) the exposed root system is wrapped with cotton cloth in winter for cold protection.
(5) In the third year, the exposed root system is stimulated to grow callus, meanwhile, vinegar and sodium bicarbonate water are used for periodically and alternately coating the root, sterilizing and dressing leaf fertilizer, and the artificial old stump bonsai is obtained.
Further: the time for selecting the white elm is 3 months; when the seedlings are transplanted to culture soil, the seedlings need to be covered to the rhizosphere of the trunk;
the germination in the step (2) is in the second year; step 21), the cutting position is 25-30 cm away from the ground of the stock; step 22), selecting one smooth side of the bark, longitudinally cutting a 3-5 cm notch in the phloem at the cross section of the stock, and splitting the phloem along the notch to two sides for 0.3-0.5 cm to form an opening; cutting an inclined plane of 2.5-3 cm at the lower part of the scion to form a scion inclined plane, and cutting off 2.5-3 cm of epidermis to expose a phloem on the back and two sides; step 23), the insertion depth is that the inclined plane is exposed on the cut of the stock by 0.3-0.5 cm; step 24), sheathing the scions to the stock by using a film bag; tightly binding the section of the stock: tightly binding the stock from a position 0.5-1 cm above the section of the stock to a position 6-7 cm below the section by using a PE anti-aging plastic film strip with the thickness of 0.07-0.08 mm, wherein the length of the anti-aging plastic film strip is 15-20 cm;
pruning branches in step (3): the new branches grow to 12-15 cm, and are cut short between 7-10 cm; when the branches grow to 25-30 cm, performing short-cut at the positions 15-20 cm; the using tool is a grafting knife; the inclined surface of the scion needs to be thin and flat;
