Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种包装物,它由薄膜构成,通过待包装物两端的两个扭结封口,本发明还涉及使用这种包装的物品包装方法。
本发明特别涉及糖果包装的领域。
糖果一般单独包在一块形状和大小适当的、事先印好的薄膜内,这些单独包装的产品可以放在适当尺寸的包装袋内按重量分装。典型的做法是首先将待包装物完全包在一块长方形的薄膜内,而这样形成的包装物通过在待包装物两端的两点处的扭结来封口。
在本发明范围内,扭结指对包装物进行扭绞封口的结果。
在这方面存在的一个重要问题是扭结的定型。这种定型只能对作为基质的薄膜进行特别选择才能获得,它必须具有适当的机械性能,如可折叠性,或者特别是在扭曲该薄膜后,没有恢复到其原始位置的明显趋势。
该问题特别是在包装体积小且基本呈圆截面的物品,诸如糖果产品,如糖、棒糖、麦芽糖、果酱、巧克力棒或还有体积较大的产品如瓶子、卷状件等时出现。
作为解决方法,人们选择已知的折叠性高的特殊基质,如蜡纸或玻璃纸,或者含适量添加剂以提高基质折叠性的合成薄膜。
该方法大大限制了作为包装基质的薄膜的可选择性,并且大大增加了成本。
在市场上看到的通过扭结封口的包装,是用事先涂覆了热密封涂层的基质实现的。当在容纳待包装物的包装物端部形成扭结时,靠近一个温度大约在120℃和160℃之间的热源一段时间。一般而言,被加热的是进行扭曲的夹具,但也可以用尺寸合适的管子将热气吹在所述扭结上,其结果是使热密封涂层融化,并且当所述热密封涂层冷却时使如此形成的扭结封上。
文献GB-A-1096058提出一种带冷密封涂层的薄膜,在扭曲扭结封上包装物后,具有优良的定型性。该冷密封涂层以两个纵向条的形式出现,位于待包装物两边形成扭结的区域。
冷密封是指在0℃和50℃左右的温度范围内通过简单的接触瞬间完成封闭。事实上,温度对于用冷密封涂层进行封口不是关键参数,并且对获得的封口质量几乎没有影响。因此,在包装单元所在空间的环境温度进行封口,不必提供辅助热源。
因此,该方法可使用价格便宜、性能(硬度、感觉、外观)优良的薄膜来包装物品,而不受所述物品的形状或对热敏感的限制。
本发明的目的在于提供一种由扭结封口的新的包装方式,其封口可优于目前已知的包装,本发明的目的还在于一种新的包装方法。
为达到该目的,本发明提供一种由薄膜构成的包装物,通过待包装物两边的两个扭结封口,其特征在于,在相对于待包装物内侧的薄膜处有一层封口涂层,沿待包装物两边的两个横向条分布,并且平行于两个扭结穿过的轴线。
所述封口涂层可以是冷密封涂层或热密封涂层。
薄膜可另外包括两条纵向的封口涂层条,沿待包装物两边延伸,垂直于所述在扭结形成区内的横向条。这些封口涂层也可以是冷密封涂层或热密封涂层。当薄膜基质抗高温性能低和/或当待包装物对热敏感时,特别是巧克力制品,最好用冷密封涂层。
热密封涂层可以是一层挤压在定向聚丙烯(OPP)上的聚乙烯(PE)。
作为冷密封涂层,可考虑对压力敏感的粘合剂,这是可永久性地、并在简单的轻压作用下即刻粘着在大部分材料上的物质。
对压力敏感的粘合剂一般以天然和/或合成橡胶为主要成分,配上改良玻璃纸、苯酚甲醛树脂或含碳氢化合物的树脂(蜡)。除橡胶外,人们广泛采用以苯乙烯、异丁烯酸或乙烯醚为主要成分的聚合物,单独或混合,也可与树脂混合。最后,还可以采用硅树脂。最好采用含有天然和合成橡胶以及异丁烯酸和苯乙烯共聚物混合的成分。
这些冷密封涂层按大约1~5克/平方米的比例涂在基质上。它们可以溶液、分散或甚至熔化的形式涂覆。可以采用本领域技术人员已知的涂层涂覆技术,例如,照相制版或橡胶版印刷或者还有胶版印刷。
本发明还提出一种在薄膜内包装物品的包装方法,薄膜至少包括两条横向封口涂层条,根据该方法,将物品放在薄膜的所述涂层条的边上,并在两条涂层条之间,将带有所述涂层条的两面几乎垂直折起,在物品上面使两面靠近,并使其边缘彼此封上,将这样封在一起的两条边缘压平在物品上,然后扭曲超出物品两端的薄膜以形成两个扭结。
当涂层条包括冷密封涂层时,在物品上面折叠和封上涂层条边缘的操作最好在挤压机的夹具内一次完成。
当涂层为热密封涂层时,边缘彼此之间的封合采用热密封法。
本发明的优点在于,扭结封口式包装第一次在两个扭结之间的横向方向被封住。由于即使在形成扭结的区域内没有纵向涂覆,扭结处的密封性也很好,因此,实现了完全密闭的包装。
对于在纵向区域有热或冷密封涂层的包装,即在扭结处有密封的封口,由于有横向封口,实现了几乎气密的封闭。这种全封闭的包装对货物的保存非常有利,因为它阻止湿气、气体、空气或其它有害物质的侵入,并同时保留包装内的香味。

图1示出一条带状薄膜,整体由10表示,这是一种很好定型的薄膜,只需扭曲就足以获得不会打开的、结实的扭结,即这是一种不需要涂胶来保持扭结的基质。这种薄膜可以是例如玻璃纸、浇注聚丙烯薄膜、蜡纸、铝/OPP胶合纸等。
由虚线示出的待包装物用12表示。带状薄膜10沿线14切开,以提供彼此相等的箔片16,作为物品12的包装物。图1中还用虚线示出了通过扭曲待包装物12两端伸出部分而获得的扭结18的轮廓。
根据本发明,带状薄膜10上有封口涂层20,在相对待包装物12的内侧沿带状薄膜的横向延伸。这些涂层条20骑在切割线14上,从而在带状薄膜10切割后,每一块箔片16都在两边有两条横向的封口涂层条20a、20b。
在图1所示的例子中,封口涂层为冷密封涂层,如CRODA公司的产品22-392,按3克/平方米的比例涂覆。
图2示出了根据本发明的包装薄膜40的第二种实施方式。该薄膜40由挤压定向聚丙烯构成,薄膜本身并不具备扭结18的定型特点。然而,为了能够形成这些扭结18,在形成扭结18的两个区域内,在相对于待包装物12内侧的薄膜处涂有两条纵向的冷胶合涂层条42、44,它可由图1实施方式中横向封口条20的相同材料构成。图2的实施方式包括横向热密封涂层条46,在薄膜切割后,在每块薄膜的边缘形成横向涂层条46a和46b。这些横向的热密封涂层条可以由挤压在OPP上的PE层形成。
在根据图1和图2的实施方式之间可有不同的组合。因此,例如图1的横向冷密封涂层条可以换成横向热密封涂层条。同样,图2的热密封条46可以换成冷密封条。此外,图2的纵向条42、44,还有横向条46都可以由热密封涂层或冷密封涂层构成。
图3a至图3d以及图4a至图4d示出了本发明的包装方法的不同连续阶段,采用诸如上述参照图1或图2描述的包装物。物品12置于其中一块箔片16的横向条20a和20b之内。在图中,作为例子,示出了图1的箔片16,但是,当然,该方法也可以用于图2的薄膜以及各种可能的组合。然后,带有横向封口涂层条20a和20b的两个侧面A和B被向上折起,如图3a和图4a所示。接着将两个侧面A和B同时向内折在物品12上,使它们带有横向条20a和20b的内边缘如图4b所示的那样彼此相对。然后,如图5所示,在两个侧面A和B的每一条边的外侧的整个宽度上施加压力,以使这两个侧面的冷密封涂层很好地封合在一起。将侧面A和B折起并将其边缘封合起来的这一工序可以在挤压机的夹具48(图3b)中一次完成。这样,获得一条在整个宽度上延伸的封口肋条50,如图3c和图4b所示。该肋条随后如图3d和图4c那样折叠和压平在包装上,最好如图6那样施加垂直的压力,使包装的外观更吸引人。向肋条50压平的方向扭曲两个端部以形成图4d的两个扭结18,包装完成。
由于有横向冷密封涂层条20a和20b,并且由于使用了压力,在包装的整个宽度上获的完好的封闭。此外,扭结18、尤其是根据图2在纵向封口涂层条42和44处拧的结用于侧面封口。这样,实现了几乎气密的包装,它防止香气逸出或空气、湿气、有害气味等进入。
在横向热密封涂层条的情况下,挤压机的夹具48可加热到150℃左右,以获得封口条20a和20b之间良好的封闭。还可以在两条边缘在挤压机内封合之前,向两条边缘吹热气(±150-180℃)。
Claims (7)
1.一种包装物,由可分割成独立箔片(16)的薄膜(10,40)构成,通过在一个待包装物(12)两边的两个扭结(18)封口,其特征在于,在相对于待包装物(12)内侧的薄膜(10,40)处有一个封口涂层,沿待包装物(12)两边的两个横向条(20a,20b)和(46a,46b)分布,并且平行于两个扭结(18)穿过的轴线。
2.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其特征在于,所述涂层是冷密封涂层。
3.根据权利要求1所述的包装物,其特征在于,所述涂层是热密封涂层。
4.根据权利要求2或3所述的包装物,其特征在于,薄膜还包括两条纵向的冷密封涂层条(42,44),在待包装物(12)的两边延伸,垂直于扭结形成区内的所述横向条(46a,46b)。
5.根据权利要求2或3所述的包装物,其特征在于,薄膜另外包括两条纵向的热密封涂层条,在待包装物(12)的两边延伸,垂直于扭结形成区内的所述横向条。
6.在薄膜(10,40)的箔片(16)内包装一物品(12)的方法,箔片至少包括两条横向封口涂层条(20a,20b)(46a,46b),根据该方法,将物品(12)放在箔片(16)的所述涂层条的边上,并在两个涂层条之间,将带有所述涂层条的两面几乎垂直折起,在物品(12)的上面使两个面靠近并将其边缘彼此封上,将这样封好的两条边压平在物品(12)上,然后扭曲超出物品两端的薄膜,以形成两个扭结(18)。
