Description

平面显示装置
本发明涉及一种平面显示装置，更具体说，涉及一种具有改进引线结构的平面显示装置。
通常，平面显示装置比具有电子枪的阴极射线管有简单得多的平面结构。
如图1所示的通常平面显示装置包括用于输出信号的显示部分10和连接到显示部分10的引线20。而且，连接端22连接到引线20的每个本体21，以使引线20连接到外部端子，比如连接到印刷电路板上的外部端子。
此时，如图2所示，将具有预定长度和厚度的连接端22焊接到引线20的本体21的上表面，使该连接端连接到引线20的本体21。连接端22是由比本体21强度大的材料制成的，以增加引线的强度。
然而，必须将每个连接端焊接到平面显示装置的对应引线20的本体21的上表面，这就需要较长的复杂过程，并减小了焊接部分的连接强度。
本发明的目的是提供一种具有改进的引线结构的平面显示装置，从而提高了生产率。
为达到上述目的，提供了一种具有连接到外部端子的引线的平面显示装置，该引线包括本体和具有围绕该本体的纵轴卷起预定长度的连接端。

根据本发明的图3所示平面显示装置包括用于输出信号的显示部分10和连接到显示部分10的引线部分30。引线部分30包括主体31和从引线30的主体31伸长的连接端32。将连接端32插到外部端子，比如在印刷电路板上的外部端子。
参看图4，引线30的主体31做成为平板，其连接端32有围绕主体31的纵轴卷起的预定长度。连接端32有环形截面，从而比通常平板有更高的引线强度。将连接端32连接到外部端子，比如印刷电路板的端部。连接端32有环形截面便于配合印刷电路板上的一个槽。连接到印刷电路板的连接端32的直径最好为0.5mm左右。
同时，根据本发明的引线30的主体31利用一弯曲部分33连接到显示部分10的内部端子。最好，将连接到内部端子的引线30的末端做出一弯折约0.3mm的弯折部分33。可将连接插头34的一端插入连接端32的卷筒部分，并焊接到连接端32，从而可将连接插头34的另一端插入印刷电路板上的外部端子。
图5表示本发明另一实施例的引线40。其中，连接端42从主体41伸长，如图4所示的引线30一样。本体41仍做成平板，其一端有一弯曲部分43，而另一端形成一卷筒部分。然而，在这个实施例中，本体41的卷筒部分，即连接端42的截面呈矩形。与前述实施例一样，可将连接插头44插入连接端42。
在例如机动应用等强振动场合，可采用这种具有引线40的平面显示装置。
根据本发明的平面显示装置的引线，其主体和连接端包括一个便于自动化生产的主体，因此增加了引线的强度，而且制造和组装过程简单方便。
应了解，本发明不限于所举实施例，在本发明范围内，本领域技术人员可做出多种修改。

Claims (4)

1.一种平面显示装置，包括一个用于输出信号的显示部分和与该显示部分连接的引线，每一引线都包括：
主体；和
从主体外部延长的连接端，具有围绕该主体纵轴卷起的预定长度。
2.根据权利要求1的平面显示装置，其特征在于，所述引线的主体其一端形成有弯曲部分，用于连接到所述平面显示装置的内部端子。
3.根据权利要求1的平面显示装置，其特征在于，所述连接端的截面呈环形。
4.根据权利要求1的平面显示装置，其特征在于，所述连接端的截面呈矩形。
