背景技术

然而,包含PVC的或用PVC涂覆的墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料(如墙纸)具有明显的缺点。含氯的聚合物PVC随着时间流逝而释放氯化氢气体并且在火灾的情况下形成高毒性的二英,因此包含PVC的经涂覆的墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料对居住者的健康形成了潜在危险。另外,由于其相对于纸质墙纸而言较小的水蒸气透过率,包含PVC的墙纸对房间气候产生不利影响,这要求对用其装饰的房间进行经常性且良好的通风。尤其在经能量优化的建筑物中,在包含PVC的墙纸的情况下,由于在按标准设定的每小时0.5次空气交换并且取消通过窗户通风,这可能造成令人忧虑地高有害物质浓度。
出于上述原因,最近几年人们一直尝试通过聚合物涂层来替代墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料上的PVC涂层,所述聚合物涂层的特征之处在于更少排放对健康有害的化合物以及更少不利地影响房间气候,并且所述聚合物涂层在火灾的情况下不产生或至少较少产生有毒的燃烧产物。
在DE 41 20 306 A1中描述了一种用于制备结构泡沫材料墙纸的方法,其中纸质基底幅料通过作为粘合剂的经加热的热塑性塑料而用同类泡沫材料涂覆,并且然后用压花辊使泡沫材料设置有所希望的表面结构。作为热塑性塑料尤其建议聚乙烯、聚丙烯、聚苯乙烯和聚酯,即不包含有害卤素或其他不可接受物质的聚合物。但是在这种墙纸的情况下不利的是,这些墙纸在贴墙时在涂层的方向上有非常严重的卷曲或卷边或卷在一起,这使得将其施加到墙壁上更困难或完全不可能。对于借助于墙壁粘贴技术来施加墙纸的情况尤其如此,其中首先用滚筒或刷子将浆糊逐条且均匀地施加到墙壁上,然后施加墙纸并且例如用干净的布、软滚筒或刷子压紧贴上。这种技术允许简单且快速地将墙壁覆盖物施加到墙壁上,但是要求即使在施加到浆糊上之后也保持平坦的平坦墙壁覆盖物。卷曲的或卷边的墙纸不能用这种技术施加或者施加至少不能在墙壁上得到所希望的结果。
从DE 195 30 508 A1中已知一种具有由聚乙烯纤维无纺布形成的可见侧层的墙纸。聚乙烯纤维无纺布由热-机械固化的由聚乙烯(PE)连续纤维形成的纤维无纺布组成,并且在干燥和潮湿情况下在两侧都具有高强度并且在实践中常见的负荷下是不可撕裂的。然而,这些墙纸在以下方面是不利的,即,在设计中只有少数选项可供用于墙纸表面的造型。另外,通过这种纤维性表面不能借助于压花装置来产生细致的结构。此外,由溶胀非常严重的纸与高强度的、不溶胀的PE无纺布形成的连接导致严重的卷曲,使得不能用墙壁粘贴技术处理这种墙纸或只能获得无法令人满意的结果。
在DE 86 00 174 U1中描述了一种带有由纸形成的载体层和由聚乙烯形成的可见侧层的墙纸,其中所述载体层由多个纸层构造而成并且具有180至230克每平方米的单位面积重量,并且所述由聚乙烯形成的可见侧层具有至少15克每平方米的单位面积重量。然而这种墙纸也不适合用于以墙壁粘贴技术进行加工,因为它严重卷曲。
在DE 26 59 192 A1中建议了一种印刷的墙纸,所述墙纸由纸载体和可洗掉的涂层组成,其中所述涂层由可透视的聚烯烃组合成。这种墙纸也不适合用于以墙壁粘贴技术施加到墙壁上,因为聚烯烃大幅度结晶并且在冷却过程中收缩,因此这种墙纸的突出之处在于严重的卷曲。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种涂料组合物,所述涂料组合物尤其适合用于涂覆幅面状

尤其期望的是,用所述涂料组合物涂覆的墙壁、地板或天花板饰面材料还可以用粘贴技术尽可能平坦且没有卷曲或至少没有明显卷曲地进行加工。另外有利的是,其可以尽可能良好地用常规油墨进行印刷。
另一个挑战在于,可用于制备墙壁、地板或天花板饰面材料的涂层组合物尽可能不释放或几乎不释放威胁健康的化合物(所述化合物可能对房间气候具有不利影响),和/或在火灾的情况下不产生或至少较少地产生有毒的燃烧产物。
根据本发明,这个目的通过提供一种用于制备经涂覆的基底并且尤其用于制备经涂覆的墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料的涂料组合物来实现,所述涂料组合物包含:
a)15至80重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物,
b)0.1至30重量%的至少一种烃树脂,
c)0.1至20重量%的至少一种蜡,
d)0.1至80重量%的至少一种填料,
e)0.01至20重量%的至少一种润滑剂,所述润滑剂选自由以下项组成的组:羧酸酰胺、脂肪醇、金属皂、复合酯以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物,以及
f)任选地,0.0至10重量%的发泡剂,
其中所述组合物的所有成分的总和为100重量%。
所述涂料组合物同样可以通过将以下物质合并来获得:
a)15至80重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物,
b)0.1至30重量%的至少一种烃树脂,
c)0.1至20重量%的至少一种蜡,
d)0.1至80重量%的至少一种填料,
e)0.01至20重量%的至少一种润滑剂,所述润滑剂选自由以下项组成的组:羧酸酰胺、脂肪醇、金属皂、复合酯以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物,以及

其中所述组合物的所有成分的总和为100重量%。
根据本发明,所述涂料组合物的所有成分的总和为100重量%。如果所述涂料组合物由成分a)至f)组成,则成分a)至f)的总和为100重量%。如果所述涂料组合物除了成分a)至f)之外还包含其他成分,例如添加剂h)和i),则成分a)至i)的总和为100重量%。
这种解决方案基于以下认识:通过乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、烃树脂、蜡和润滑剂的上述组合获得了涂料组合物,所述涂料组合物在涂覆对应的幅面状基底(如纸质墙纸)之后产生具有特别有利性能的经涂覆基底。这些性能尤其为表面强度和耐磨强度以及硬度和耐热性;此外还有可印刷性和可加工性。
对应的经涂覆的基底尤其可以用常见的印刷油墨且尤其水性印刷油墨以常见的印刷方法(如凹版印刷方法、柔版印刷方法、喷墨印刷方法和丝网印刷方法)来出色地进行印刷。
本发明的涂料组合物的一个特别的特性在于其较小的粘性和较短的“开放时间”。这通常是用于非常结晶性的材料的指标。但是本发明的涂层具有出人意料地小的结晶。由此在涂覆过程中且还在常见的印刷方法的情况下产生了优点。高结晶性的材料在冷却或硬化时在基底上收缩并且因此造成涂层卷曲。由此不再能保证机器操作可能性。
由于较低的结晶度和由此造成的平坦度,用本发明的涂料组合物涂覆的基底还可以用粘贴技术(其中例如首先用滚筒或刷子将浆糊逐条且均匀地施加到地板、墙壁或天花板上,然后将墙壁、地板或天花板饰面材料施加到其上并且例如用干净的布、软滚筒或刷子压紧贴上)来平坦且没有卷曲或至少没有明显卷曲地施加到地板、墙壁或天花板上。因此,用本发明的涂料组合物涂覆的墙纸尤其可以用墙壁粘贴技术简单且可靠地平坦地施加到墙壁上。
本发明的涂料组合物尤其还适合于制备结构泡沫墙纸。另外,本发明的涂料组合物不释放对健康有害的化合物且尤其不释放含卤素的化合物,因为本发明的涂料组合物不要求添加含卤素的化合物(如PVC)或者其他释放有害化合物的聚合物。
此外,本发明的涂料组合物具有适当的水蒸气透过率,使得用本发明的涂料组合物涂覆的基底对房间气候没有不利影响。最后,本发明的涂料组合物由于其组成在火灾的情况下不产生或至少较少产生有毒的燃烧产物。
在本发明的意义上,烃树脂理解为包含碳和氢的具有100至10,000g/mol的重均分子量的化合物。优选所述化合物的至少90%且进一步优选至少95%为碳原子和氢原子,相反,其余可以为杂原子,例如氮原子或氧原子。烃树脂的重均分子量优选为100至3,000g/mol。
烃树脂优选地选自下组:脂族树脂,环脂族树脂,茚-苯并呋喃树脂,聚苯乙烯树脂,聚甲基苯乙烯树脂以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物。
所述树脂尤其优选地选自下组:环脂族树脂,茚-苯并呋喃树脂和/或聚甲基苯乙烯树脂。进一步优选的是二环戊二烯树脂、茚-苯并呋喃树脂和/或聚-α-甲基苯乙烯树脂或其混合物。
非常特别优选具有200至1,000g/mol的重均分子量的茚-苯并呋喃树脂或二环戊二烯树脂和/或具有500至2,000g/mol的重均分子量的聚-α-甲基苯乙烯树脂。最优选的实施方式是茚-苯并呋喃树脂。后者为本领域技术人员最熟知的苯并呋喃和茚以及相关化合物的聚合产物。这经常用在涂漆工艺和涂层工艺中。
烃树脂的功能尤其是增塑剂和/或聚合物改性剂的功能。尤其还可以改进粘合性并因此执行粘合促进剂的功能。
单词组成部分“树脂”在此不具有超出上述定义(即所定义的分子量和原子组成)的含义。
根据本发明,所述涂料组合物包含0.01至20重量%的至少一种润滑剂,所述润滑剂选自由以下项组成的组:羧酸酰胺,鲸蜡醇,硬脂醇、金属皂、复合酯以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物。添加润滑剂造成涂料组合物的粘性降低并且除了乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、烃树脂和蜡之外有助于避免用所述涂料组合物涂覆的基底的卷曲。

特别优选所述涂料组合物包含根据通式(I)的羧酸酰胺和/或其盐作为润滑剂,其中R1为C10-24烷基且优选C15-20烷基,并且R2表示取代或未取代的烷基酰胺基,并且R3表示氢。
适合的润滑剂的非常特别优选的例子是仲酰胺并且最优选十八碳酰胺及其盐。
但是还可以使用其他润滑剂,例如尤其金属皂、复合酯和脂肪醇。根据本发明,金属皂为脂肪酸的盐以及树脂酸和环烷酸与金属的盐。
金属皂优选为C2至C30单羧酸和/或二羧酸,优选C12至C20单羧酸和/或二羧酸,尤其优选硬脂酸、癸二酸、己二酸和壬二酸或其混合物。还可以使用取代的单和/或二羧酸衍生物,尤其硬脂酸衍生物和/或癸二酸衍生物。特别优选地,单羧酸和/或二羧酸尤其选自由以下项组成的组:羟基硬脂酸和/或羟基硬脂酸衍生物,羟基癸二酸和/或羟基癸二酸衍生物,尤其选自12-羟基硬脂酸。
金属皂的阳离子优选地选自由以下项组成的组:Li、Na、K、Ca、Ba、Al和/或Zn,尤其优选由以下项组成的组:Zn、Li、Na、K和Ca。非常特别优选的金属皂为硬脂酸锌。
同样优选的是萜烯酸的钾盐和/或钠盐或者环烷酸与金属的盐。
如果金属皂包含两种不同的金属离子,例如钠离子和钾离子,则金属皂还可以被称为混合型金属皂。
根据本发明,复合酯理解为多元醇和单羧酸和多羧酸的反应产物、多元醇和一元醇和二羧酸的反应产物,或者多元醇和一元醇和单羧酸和二羧酸的反应产物。
复合酯的适合的例子包括多元醇和C1-20单羧酸和C1-20二羧酸的反应产物,优选多元醇和C1-25单羧酸和C1-25二羧酸的反应产物,并且特别优选多元醇和C5-25单羧酸和C5-25二羧酸的反应产物。优选的多元醇为季戊四醇、甘油、丙二醇、乙二醇、木糖醇、聚醚多元醇等。特别优选的复合酯为新多元醇酯。
根据本发明,脂肪醇为脂族、长链的一元醇。在原生脂肪醇的情况下烃残基通常是不分支的,合成脂肪醇也可以分支。具有6至22个碳原子的脂肪醇是根据本发明优选的。特别优选的是硬脂醇(1-十八烷醇)和鲸蜡醇(1-十六烷醇)。
根据本发明,将蜡定义为如下物质:在20℃时可捏合,具有坚固至可破碎的硬度,具有粗糙至细晶态的结构,有色透明至不透明、但是为非玻璃状,超过40℃时在不分解的情况下熔化,在略高于熔点时略微液态(也就是为相对低粘度的),具有强烈依赖于温度的稠度和溶解度,以及在轻微的压力下可抛光。
根据本发明,蜡优选地选自由以下项组成的组:聚烯烃蜡(尤其聚乙烯蜡)、石蜡、费托蜡、褐煤蜡/酯蜡、酰胺蜡、天然蜡和PTFE(聚四氟乙烯)或其混合物。这些化合物的组是本领域技术人员熟知的。
特别优选的是聚烯烃蜡,尤其聚乙烯蜡。聚乙烯蜡(PE蜡)通过气态物质乙烯的聚合或通过高分子塑料的热分解来形成。
尤其优选的是所述至少一种蜡为聚烯烃蜡,特别优选聚乙烯蜡,并且非常特别优选具有500至2,000g/mol的重均分子量的聚乙烯蜡。另外优选的是,在所述涂料组合物中设置具有较小的残余单体含量的对应的蜡,即优选具有小于1,000ppm、进一步优选小于100ppm且非常特别优选不大于10ppm的对应残余单体含量的蜡。这有助于避免排放不希望的物质和气味污染物。
润滑剂在涂料组合物中的比例优选为0.025至10重量%。更少量的润滑剂导致涂料组合物的粘性的降低不足,相反,更大的量没有促使粘性进一步降低但是损害涂料组合物的应用技术方面的性能。鉴于此,另外优选的是,润滑剂在涂料组合物中的比例为0.05至5重量%、进一步优选0.1至2重量%并且非常特别优选0.2至1.5重量%。
根据本发明,所述涂料组合物包含15至80重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物。添加乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物明显有助于涂料组合物的适合的粘度并且与润滑剂、烃树脂和蜡相组合地有助于减少用其涂覆的基底的卷曲。
在此方面,当涂料组合物的所述至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物为除了共聚单体乙烯和乙酸乙烯酯以外不包含其他共聚单体的共聚物时,尤其获得了良好的结果。另外优选的是,涂料组合物具有较小的乙烯和乙酸乙烯酯的残余单体含量,即优选小于1,000ppm、进一步优选小于100ppm且非常特别优选不大于10ppm的对应残余单体含量。这有助于避免排放不希望的物质和气味污染物。
在本发明的改进方案中建议,至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物为统计共聚物,确切地说非常特别优选为除了共聚单体乙烯和乙酸乙烯酯之外不包含其他共聚单体的统计共聚物。这样的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物在避免卷曲和调节涂料组合物的适合的粘度方面已经被证实为特别适合的。
出人意料地,在本发明的范围内已经显示出,在所述至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物中乙酸乙烯酯的比例不仅影响涂料组合物的粘度,而且还影响用其涂覆的基底的卷曲程度。在此方面已经证实为有利的是,乙酸乙烯酯在所述涂料组合物的所述至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物中的比例在15至80重量%的范围内、进一步优选在大于18至60重量%的范围内、特别优选在20至50重量%的范围内且非常特别优选在25至40重量%的范围内。
根据本发明的另一个特别优选的实施方式,所述涂料组合物包含在190℃下和2.16kg的测试重量下测量的10至500g/10分钟、优选15至150g/10分钟且特别优选20至50g/10分钟的熔融指数的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物。这样的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物是足够高分子的,从而即使在长时间之后也可靠地避免了所述共聚物从涂料组合物中排放,并且所述共聚物突出地适合用于调节涂料组合物的最优粘度。
根据本发明,所述至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物在涂料组合物中的比例为15至80重量%。更少量的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物导致粘度调节不充分以及卷曲减少不充分,相反,更大的量没有实现其他在此方面的优点但是损害了涂料组合物的应用技术方面的性能。鉴于此,优选的是,该至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物在涂料组合物中的比例为18至60重量%、进一步优选20至50重量%并且非常特别优选25至40重量%。
根据本发明,所述涂料组合物包含0.1至30重量%的至少一种烃树脂。添加烃树脂明显有助于涂料组合物的适合的粘度并且与润滑剂、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物和蜡相组合地有助于减少用其涂覆的基底的卷曲。另外,烃树脂对于调节适合的硬度、耐热性、堵塞倾向和适合的软化点而言是重要的。
当在所述涂料组合物中使用选自由以下项组成的至少一种树脂时,在此方面尤其获得了良好结果:脂族树脂、环脂族树脂、芳香族树脂以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物。另外优选的是,在所述涂料组合物中设置具有较小的残余单体含量的对应的树脂,即优选具有小于1,000ppm、进一步优选小于100ppm且非常特别优选不大于10ppm的对应残余单体含量的树脂。这有助于避免排放不希望的物质和气味污染物。
在本发明的改进方案中建议,在所述涂料组合物中包含至少一种选自由以下项组成的组的树脂:脂族树脂,环脂族树脂,聚苯乙烯树脂,聚甲基苯乙烯树脂以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物,优选环脂族树脂、茚-苯并呋喃树脂和/或聚甲基苯乙烯树脂,特别优选二环戊二烯树脂和/或聚-α-甲基苯乙烯树脂,并且非常特别优选具有200至1,000g/mol的重均分子量的茚-苯并呋喃树脂或二环戊二烯树脂和/或具有500至2,000g/mol的重均分子量的聚-α-甲基苯乙烯树脂。这样的树脂在避免卷曲和调节涂料组合物的适合的粘度方面已经被证实为特别适合的。
根据本发明,所述至少一种烃树脂在涂料组合物中的比例为0.1至30重量%。更少量的烃树脂导致烃树脂的作用不足,相反,更大的量没有实现其他在此方面的优点但是损害了涂料组合物的应用技术方面的性能。鉴于此,优选的是,该至少一种烃树脂在涂料组合物中的比例为1至20重量%、进一步优选2至15重量%并且非常特别优选5至13重量%。
根据本发明,所述涂料组合物包含0.1至20重量%的至少一种蜡。添加蜡有助于调节所述涂料组合物的适合的粘度并且控制“开放时间”(其为在涂覆过程中的重要因素)。另外,蜡对于调节适合的硬度、耐热性、堵塞倾向和适合的软化点而言是重要的。蜡的量优选小于烃树脂的量。
当所述至少一种包含在所述涂料组合物中的蜡为烃蜡并且特别优选为饱和烃蜡时,尤其获得了良好的结果。
根据本发明,所述至少一种蜡在涂料组合物中的比例为0.1至20重量%。更少量的蜡导致蜡的作用不足,相反,更大的量没有实现其他在此方面的优点但是损害了涂料组合物的应用技术方面的性能。鉴于此,优选的是,该至少一种蜡在涂料组合物中的比例为0.5至15重量%、进一步优选1至10重量%并且非常特别优选2至8重量%。
根据本发明,所述涂料组合物包含0.1至80重量%的至少一种填料。通过添加填料,甚至在没有添加特殊阻燃剂的情况下降低了涂料组合物的可燃性。提高的填料量另外有助于涂料组合物的热传输,这不仅对于涂覆过程而且对印刷、发泡和压花过程也是重要的。另外,填料难以挥发,使得其添加有助于降低或避免涂料组合物的不希望物质和气味污染物的排放。
当所述涂料组合物包含至少一种无机填料作为填料时,在此方面尤其实现了良好的结果。
所述无机填料优选地选自由以下项组成的组:碳酸钙、由碳酸钙和碳酸镁形成的混合物、氢氧化铝、硫酸钡以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物。所述涂料组合物特别优选包含碳酸钙或者由碳酸钙和碳酸镁形成的混合物(尤其呈白云石形式)作为填料。
另外可能有利的是,所述涂料组合物除了一种或多种无机填料之外还包含已经膨胀的中空微球作为填料。这种有机填料也被称为轻质填料并且可以尤其用于降低填料的比重或用于提高比体积。在此特别有利的是膨胀的聚合物中空球。
在不受科学理论束缚的情况下,这种无机-有机填料的非常高的比体积看起来通过聚合物材料与无机填料之间的相互作用实现。
根据本发明,所述至少一种填料在涂料组合物中的比例为0.1至80重量%。更少量的填料导致上述效果的实现不足,相反,更大的量没有实现其他在此方面的优点但是损害了涂料组合物的应用技术方面的性能。鉴于此,优选的是,该至少一种填料在涂料组合物中的比例为10至80重量%、优选20至70重量%、特别优选30至60重量%并且非常特别优选40至55重量%。
在本发明的改进方案中建议,所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物和所述填料在所述涂料组合物中的比例的总和为25至99重量%、进一步优选40至98重量%、特别优选60至97重量%并且非常特别优选70至96重量%。
组分a)的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物与填料的重量比优选在80:20至10:90、优选70:30至20:80、优选60:40至30:70范围内。
尤其为了制备泡沫结构墙纸,根据本发明的另一个特别优选的实施方式提出,所述涂料组合物除了上述组分a)至e)之外另外还包含至少一种发泡剂作为组分f)。在本发明的范围内,原则上可以使用任何发泡剂,其中尤其用选自由以下项组成的组的发泡剂实现了良好的结果:中空微球、金属碳酸盐、偶氮二甲酰胺、氧代双苯磺酰肼、C3-10烷烃和/或由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的混合物。
所述涂料组合物优选包含中空微球,所述中空微球用C3-10烷烃、优选用C3-8烷烃且特别优选用异辛烷作为发泡剂填充。只有在热压花装置前不久才将用作发泡剂的中空微球或微胶囊膨胀。
发泡剂在涂料组合物中的量可以依据所希望的发泡度来调节。尤其已经证实为有利的是,发泡剂在涂料组合物中的比例为0.1至20重量%、特别优选0.25至10重量%且非常特别优选0.5至5重量%,如尤其2至4重量%,如大约2重量%。由此获得了可实现的泡沫高度与所需的机械强度的最优比。
另外,根据本发明的另一个实施方式,所述涂料组合物除了上述组分a)至e)和任选地组分f)之外另外还包含0.05至2重量%的至少一种抗氧化剂作为组分g)。
适合的抗氧化剂是本领域技术人员熟知的。优选可以使用具有低挥发性并且因此造成进一步降低不想要的排放的抗氧化剂。在此尤其使用无胺的抗氧化剂。因此,所述抗氧化剂优选地选自由以下项组成的组:空间位阻酚、内酯(尤其如苯并呋喃-2-酮衍生物)、空间位阻的亚磷酸酯或其混合物。
空间位阻酚的例子为季戊四醇四(3-(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)丙酸酯、十八烷基-3-(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基丙酸酯)、3,5-双-(1,1-二甲基乙基-4-羟基-C7-C9-烷基支化的酯、亚乙基(双氧基亚乙基)双-(3-(5-叔丁基羟基-4-甲苯基)-丙酸酯)。
内酯的例子、尤其苯并呋喃-2-酮衍生物例如在EP 1291384和DE 19618786中描述。
空间位阻的亚磷酸酯、如三(2,4-二叔丁基苯基)亚磷酸酯例如在EP 905180中描述。
此外,所述涂料组合物可以依据应用情形包含0至30重量%的至少一种添加剂作为组分h),例如阻燃剂和/或着色剂(如二氧化钛)。
根据本发明的第一非常特别优选的实施方式,所述涂料组合物包含:
a)20至50重量%的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯统计共聚物,所述共聚物除共聚单体乙烯和乙酸乙烯酯之外不包含其他的共聚单体,
b)1至20重量%的选自由以下项组成的组的烃树脂:脂族树脂,环脂族树脂,茚-苯并呋喃树脂,聚苯乙烯树脂,聚甲基苯乙烯树脂以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物,
c)1至15重量%的至少一种聚烯烃蜡,
d)20至70重量%的选自由以下项组成的组的填料:碳酸钙、由碳酸钙和碳酸镁形成的混合物、氢氧化铝、硫酸钡以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物,以及
e)0.05至5重量%的根据通式(I)的羧酸酰胺和/或其盐,其中R1为C10-24烷基,并且R2和R3是彼此相同或不同的并且表示氢或取代或未取代的烷基酰胺基,
其中所有成分的总和为100重量%。
根据本发明的第二非常特别优选的实施方式,所述涂料组合物包含:
a)25至40重量%的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯统计共聚物,所述共聚物除共聚单体乙烯和乙酸乙烯酯之外不包含其他的共聚单体,其中所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物中乙酸乙烯酯的比例在大于18至60重量%的范围内并且所述乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物在190℃下且以2.16kg的重量测量时具有15至150g/10分钟的熔融指数,
b)2至15重量%的优选具有200至1,000g/mol的重均分子量的二环戊二烯树脂和/或优选具有500至2,000g/mol的重均分子量的聚α-甲基苯乙烯树脂,
c)1至10重量%的优选具有500至2,000g/mol重均分子量的聚乙烯蜡,
d)30至60重量%的碳酸钙或者由碳酸钙和碳酸镁形成的混合物、优选为白云石,以及
e)0.1至2重量%的根据通式(I)的羧酸酰胺和/或其盐,其中R1为C15-20烷基,并且R2表示取代或未取代的烷基酰胺基,并且R3表示氢,
其中所有成分的总和为100重量%。
在本发明的上述非常特别优选的两种实施方式中,所述涂料组合物可以另外包含0.05至5重量%的发泡剂作为组分f),所述发泡剂优选选自由以下项组成的组:中空微球、金属碳酸盐、偶氮二甲酰胺、氧代双苯磺酰肼、C3-10烷烃和/或由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的混合物。
如进一步前文所述,本发明的一个特别的优点是,无需向所述涂料组合物添加含氯的聚合物以获得所希望的性能。因此,根据本发明特别优选的是,所述涂料组合物不包含含氯的聚合物。
在本发明的改进方案中建议,所述涂料组合物除了上述组分a)至h)之外不包含其他的化合物,即所述涂料组合物由组分a)至e)、任选地f)、任选地g)和任选地h)组成。
本发明的另一个主题是一种经涂覆的基底并且尤其是经涂覆的墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料,其包括幅面状基底,所述幅面状基底至少局部地在其两个侧面中的至少一个侧面上用上述涂料组合物涂覆。所述幅面状基底优选在其两个侧面上整面地用上述涂料组合物涂覆。
本发明尤其适合于经涂覆的基底,其中所述基底选自由以下项组成的组:木材、木材构件、木质材料、纸、塑料、有机纤维、合成纤维、矿物化合物、金属、织物以及上述物质中两种或更多种的组合。
所述经涂覆基底的基底优选为织物或纸,并且优选为无纺布。
此外,本发明还涉及一种制备经涂覆的基底且尤其用于制备经涂覆的墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料的方法,其中所述方法包括以下方法步骤:
i.提供幅面状基底并且优选墙纸;
ii.提供如上描述的涂料组合物,
iii.将所述涂料组合物施加到所述基底的至少一段上至少一侧上且优选整面地施加到所述基底的两个侧面中的一个侧面上;
iv.使所述涂料组合物固化、凝固和/或冷却;
v.任选地,印刷所述涂料组合物;
vi.任选地,使所述涂料组合物热变形;
vii.任选地,层压或胶合薄膜。
本发明的涂料组合物的一个特别的优点是,它可以用所有常见的印刷油墨和印刷技术来印刷。因此可以尤其用水性印刷油墨,优选用选自凹版印刷方法、柔版印刷方法、喷墨印刷方法或丝网印刷方法的印刷方法将所述涂料组合物印刷到经涂覆的基底上。
在用于制备经涂覆基底的方法中尤其可以将经印刷的基底热变形。
为了将涂料组合物施加到幅面状基底上,可能有利的是将涂料组合物在50至200℃、优选60至180℃的范围内加热。温度调节能够实现适合的涂层粘度并且可以使涂料组合物的可加工性更容易。
最后,可以将经印刷的基底封闭式地用保护层和/或薄膜覆盖。
所述涂料组合物优选用于制备墙壁覆盖物、尤其墙纸。
已经表明,在本发明的另一个方面中,尤其如下本发明的涂料组合物是有利的,在所述涂料组合物中至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(A)、至少一种丙烯酸酯共聚物(B)、至少一种聚乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(C)或其混合物(D)作为分散介质中的分散体形式使用。
因此,本发明在一个特殊的方面针对的是用于制备经涂覆的墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料(尤其墙纸)的涂料组合物,所述涂料组合物包含以下组分:
a)2至80重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(A)、至少一种丙烯酸酯共聚物(B)、至少一种聚乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(C)或其混合物(D),
b)0.1至80重量%的至少一种填料,
c)0.0至20重量%的任选的至少一种蜡,
d)0.0至20重量%的任选的至少一种润滑剂,
e)0.0至10重量%的任选的至少一种聚合物或共聚物,所述聚合物或共聚物包含选自由以下项组成的组的至少一个基团:酯、三聚氰胺、脲、甲醛、醚、环氧化物、氨基甲酸酯(盐)、丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸甲酯或其混合物,
以及
f)0.0至10重量%的任选的发泡剂,
其中所有成分的总和为100重量%,其特征在于,组分a)的至少一种共聚物存在于分散介质中。
只要在下文中没有明确地另外说明,上述定义同样适用于本发明的这个特殊的方面。
“分散体”在本发明的意义上是指由组分a)的所述至少一种共聚物(A)至(D)以及分散介质(组分a)的所述至少一种共聚物分散在其中)形成的非均相混合物。
分散介质可以为固体或液体并且可以被选择为使得待分散的化合物不溶于分散介质中。
用于所述至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物的适合的分散介质是本领域技术人员已知的并且例如可以选自:水、脂族或环状烃、烷基醇、二醇、亚烷基二胺、水性盐溶液、水性氨溶液、过氧化氢、甲醛、磷酸、甲酸、氢氧化钠或氢氧化钾或者氢氧化钠或氢氧化钾的水溶液、或者它们的混合物。
与添加有机分散介质相比,在优选包括一个或多个干燥或加热步骤的制造过程中使用水性聚合物分散体可能是优选的,因为对环境和使用者而言存在降低的健康风险。
因此,在一个优选实施方式中的分散介质选自由水、水性盐溶液或其混合物组成的组。分散介质尤其是水。
因此,在一个特别有利的实施方式中,组分a)的共聚物(A)至(D)可以作为水性聚合物分散体形式存在。
尤其在1至90重量%、优选10至70重量%、进一步优选15至60重量%、特别优选20至50重量%、尤其25至45重量%的范围内的水比例下获得了良好的结果。
优选组分a)的共聚物借助于混合设备、优选溶解器-搅拌器、转子-定子混合器或者允许强力分散混合物的类似设备来进行分散。
另外的成分可以任选地在搅拌下与所述至少一种共聚物进行接触(即分散到其中)。形成分散体可以便利于涂料组合物的单独成分的均匀分布并且因此有利地影响所获得产品的品质。
这样的包含水性聚合物分散体的本发明涂料组合物另外具有以下优点:它例如可以通过简单的干燥或蒸发来凝固,而不产生有害的废蒸气。
此外,可以容易地对其进行加工并且它具有特别有利的流动性能。因此,在一个特别有利的实施方式中,本发明涉及涂料组合物,其组分a)的共聚物存在于水性分散体中。
当使用组分a)的至少两种共聚物用于制备涂料组合物时达到了良好的结果。所述至少两种共聚物在此也可以选自相同的共聚物组。因此例如这两种共聚物可以均为丙烯酸酯共聚物(B)。同样可能的是将至少两种不同的共聚物例如乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(A)与丙烯酸酯共聚物(B)和/或聚乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(C)组合。在这一方面包括了所有可设想的排列。
另外已经表明,当组分a)的所述至少两种共聚物的玻璃化转变温度(Tg)不同时,获得了特别有利的结果。
“玻璃化转变温度”(Tg)是指聚合物的链段变得可移动并且可以进行平移运动时的软化点。聚合物或共聚物的玻璃化转变温度受不同因素影响。一个因素是聚合物或共聚物的支化度。在共聚物的情况下,玻璃化转变温度还受所使用的共聚单体的重量比的显著影响。
在此,包含组分a)的共聚物(A)至(D)的涂料组合物是尤其优选的,所述共聚物的玻璃化转变温度(Tg)在-100至200℃、优选-100至100℃、进一步优选-70至100℃、特别优选-50至20℃的范围内。
如果本发明的涂料组合物包含组分a)的多于一种共聚物,则相应的玻璃化转变温度的相对差值为至少5℃、优选至少10℃、特别优选至少15℃。
在本发明的改进方案中建议,组分a)的所述至少一种共聚物分散体的固体含量为最大80重量%,所述固体含量优选在20至70重量%的范围内、特别优选在40至60重量%的范围内、尤其在45至55重量%的范围内。
此外,在本发明的另一个实施方式中提出,组分a)的共聚物与填料的重量比在99:1重量%至50:50重量%、优选95:5重量%至60:40重量%、特别优选90:10重量%至70:30重量%的范围内。
任选地,在本发明的另一个实施方式中可能有利的是向所述涂料组合物中添加另一种聚合物或共聚物作为组分e)。这种聚合物或共聚物可以如上对于此方面的共聚物(A)至(D)所述一样存在于分散介质、尤其水中。在一个特别优选的实施方式中,这些聚合物或共聚物包含选自由以下项组成的组的至少一个基团:酯、三聚氰胺、脲、甲醛、醚、环氧化物、氨基甲酸酯(盐)、丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸甲酯或其混合物。因而由此得到了例如聚酯、氨基塑料、聚醚、聚氨酯、聚丙烯酸酯、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯或其混合物的聚合物或共聚物。
“聚酯”在本发明的意义上是指由包含至少一个酯基团的单体结构单元组成的化合物。“酯”是由酸和醇的反应在水离去的情况下生成的物质基团。可以使用有机酸或无机酸作为酸。有机酸的例子尤其为羧酸和氨基酸。无机酸理解为例如如磷酸、硫酸、硼酸或碳酸的化合物。“醇”是指具有一个或多个羟基(-O-H)并且连接到脂族碳原子上的所有化合物。
“氨基塑料”属于人造树脂组并且通过多次进行羰基化合物(-C=O(R))和带有至少一个NH基团的化合物的缩合反应(即缩聚)来产生。优选将甲醛用作羰基化合物。带有NH基团的化合物的优选例子为三聚氰胺、脲或者双氰胺。对于氨基塑料而言,由此例如得到了脲树脂、三聚氰胺树脂或双氰胺树脂。
术语“三聚氰胺”在此除了未取代的2,4,6-三氨基-1,3,5-三嗪之外还包括取代的2,4,6-三氨基-1,3,5-三嗪。
用名称“聚醚”描述如下化合物:所述化合物带有至少一个醚基团—带有两个烃残基的氧原子,表示为(R-O-R)。相应的烃残基可以是相同或不同的并且包括脂族的单不饱和或多不饱和的烃(其可以为链状或环状的)。聚醚可以在末端包含至少一个环氧化物,在这种情况下也被称为“环氧树脂”。
“聚氨酯”属于人造树脂组并且是指由多个带有至少一个氨基甲酸酯(盐)基团的单体结构单元组成的化合物。“氨基甲酸酯(盐)”是氨基甲酸(RN-COOH)的盐和酯。这些酯也被称为“氨酯”。
在本发明的意义上,“聚丙烯酸酯”是指由至少两种丙烯酸的酯(即丙烯酸酯)和/或甲基丙烯酸的酯形成的聚合产物。
在本发明的这个方面的改进方案中,可以向本发明的涂料组合物中任选地添加蜡作为组分c)。蜡如本文中所述地进行定义。但是在聚烯烃蜡且尤其聚乙烯蜡的情况下,当添加了具有2,000g/mol至30,000g/mol、优选5,000g/mol至20,000g/mol、特别优选7,000g/mol至12,000g/mol的重均分子量的聚乙烯蜡时,获得了特别好的结果。
另外,为了匹配实际要求,可以以常见量向所述涂料组合物中添加其他的常见助剂作为组分h)和i),如本文中所述地定义的。如果所述涂料组合物除了组分a)至f)之外还包含其他的助剂h)和/或i),则在此方面成分a)至i)的总和也为100重量%。
另外,本发明涉及一种制备涂料组合物的方法,包括以下步骤:
(i)提供一种如本文中所定义的涂料组合物;
(ii)将所述涂料组合物分散到水中。
此外,本发明还涉及一种制备经涂覆的基底且尤其用于制备经涂覆的墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料的方法,其中所述方法包括以下方法步骤:

所描述的涂料组合物的干燥例如可以在室温下通过简单地蒸发分散介质来进行。所述涂料组合物的干燥优选以如下方式进行,使得在干燥之后存在小于10重量%、优选小于5重量%、尤其小于3重量%的残余水分。
在这个方面的一个特别优选的实施方式中,所述涂料组合物的干燥在80至220℃、优选90至200℃、特别优选95至180℃的范围内进行。
干燥的温度范围在此优选设定为,使得在干燥期间尚不进行用作发泡剂的微球的膨胀。

另外,测量了用对应的涂料组合物涂覆的基底的卷曲。为此,在第一步骤中将实施例的涂料组合物熔融并且在第二步骤中将如此获得的熔体以200μm和100μm的两种不同层厚度均匀施加到墙纸无纺布上。在冷却之后确定如此制备的经涂覆基底的平坦度。
在下表中总结了对应的结果。图1示出与根据现有技术制备的墙纸的照片对比。

Claims (22)

1.涂料组合物,所述涂料组合物用于制备经涂覆的基底且尤其用于制备经涂覆的墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料,所述涂料组合物包含:
a)15至80重量%的至少一种乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物,
b)0.1至30重量%的至少一种烃树脂,
c)0.1至20重量%的至少一种蜡,
d)0.1至80重量%的至少一种填料,
e)0.01至20重量%的至少一种润滑剂,所述润滑剂选自由以下项组成的组:羧酸酰胺、脂肪醇、金属皂、复合酯以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物,以及
f)0.0至10重量%的任选的发泡剂,
其中所有成分的总和为100重量%。
2.涂料组合物,所述涂料组合物用于制备经涂覆的基底且尤其用于制备经涂覆的墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料,所述涂料组合物可通过将以下组分合并而获得:

9.根据前述权利要求中一项或多项所述的涂料组合物,其特征在于,所述至少一种蜡为聚烯烃蜡,优选聚乙烯蜡,并且特别优选具有500至2,000g/mol的重均分子量的聚乙烯蜡。
10.根据前述权利要求中一项或多项所述的涂料组合物,其特征在于,所述无机填料为碳酸钙或者由碳酸钙和碳酸镁形成的混合物、优选为白云石。
11.根据前述权利要求中一项或多项所述的涂料组合物,其特征在于,所述填料在所述涂料组合物中的比例为10至80重量%、优选20至70重量%、特别优选30至60重量%并且非常特别优选40至55重量%。
12.根据前述权利要求中一项或多项所述的涂料组合物,其特征在于,所述填料和组分a)的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物的重量比在20:80至90:10、优选30:70至80:20、尤其40:60至70:30的范围内。
13.根据前述权利要求中一项或多项所述的涂料组合物,其特征在于,所述涂料组合物中的固体含量为至少15重量%、优选至少30重量%、特别优选至少40重量%、尤其至少50重量%。
14.根据前述权利要求中一项或多项所述的涂料组合物,其特征在于,所述涂料组合物另外包含至少一种发泡剂作为组分f),所述发泡剂优选选自由以下项组成的组:中空微球、金属碳酸盐、偶氮二甲酰胺、氧代双苯磺酰肼、C3-10烷烃和/或由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的混合物。
15.根据前述权利要求中一项或多项所述的涂料组合物,其特征在于,所述涂料组合物包含:
a)20至50重量%的乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯统计共聚物,所述共聚物除共聚单体乙烯和乙酸乙烯酯之外不包含其他共聚单体,
b)1至20重量%的选自由以下项组成的组的烃树脂:脂族树脂,环脂族树脂,茚-苯并呋喃树脂,聚苯乙烯树脂,聚甲基苯乙烯树脂以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物,
c)0.5至15重量%的至少一种聚烯烃蜡,
d)20至70重量%的选自由以下项组成的组的填料:碳酸钙、由碳酸钙和碳酸镁形成的混合物、氢氧化铝、硫酸钡以及由上述化合物中两种或更多种形成的任意混合物,以及
e)0.05至5重量%的根据通式(I)的羧酸酰胺和/或其盐,其中R1为C10-24烷基并且R2和R3是彼此相同或不同的并且表示氢或者取代或未取代的烷基酰胺基,
其中所有成分的总和为100重量%。
16.经涂覆的基底,并且尤其是经涂覆的墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料,其包括幅面状基底,所述幅面状基底至少局部地在其两个侧面中的至少一个侧面上用根据前述权利要求中一项或多项所述的涂料组合物涂覆。
17.根据权利要求16所述的经涂覆的基底,其特征在于,所述基底选自由以下项组成的组:木材、木材构件、木质材料、纸、塑料、有机纤维、合成纤维、矿物化合物、金属、织物以及上述物质中两种或更多种的组合。
18.制备经涂覆的基底且尤其制备经涂覆的墙壁、地板和天花板饰面材料的方法,其中所述方法包括以下方法步骤:
(i)提供幅面状基底、优选墙纸;
(ii)提供根据前述权利要求1至15中一项或多项所述的涂料组合物;
(iii)将所述涂料组合物施加到所述基底的至少一段上或至少一侧上、优选整面地施加到所述基底的两个侧面中的一个侧面上;
(iv)使所述涂料组合物固化、凝固和/或冷却;
(v)任选地,印刷所述涂料组合物;
(vi)任选地,使所述涂料组合物热变形;
(vii)任选地,层压/胶合薄膜。
19.根据权利要求18所述的制备经涂覆的基底的方法,其特征在于,根据刷涂方法、喷涂方法或印刷方法、优选根据印刷方法,将所述涂料组合物施加到所述幅面状基底上。
20.根据权利要求19所述的制备经涂覆的基底的方法,其特征在于,所述印刷方法选自由以下项组成的组:丝网印刷方法,凹版印刷方法、凸版印刷方法或喷墨印刷方法,特别优选旋转丝网印刷方法、平板丝网印刷方法、旋转凹版印刷方法、柔版印刷方法或喷墨印刷方法,
21.根据权利要求20所述的制备经涂覆的基底的方法,其中用水性印刷油墨,优选用选自凹版印刷方法、柔版印刷方法、喷墨印刷方法或丝网印刷方法的印刷方法来印刷所述涂料组合物。
22.根据前述权利要求1至15中一项或多项所述的涂料组合物用于制备墙壁覆盖物、尤其墙纸的用途。
