Technical Field

With the development of computer network technology and storage technology, digitized books (electronic books) are stored in various electronic devices, which greatly facilitates the transmission and copying of books, and users can read electronic books through an electronic book reader or an electronic book application installed on a mobile communication device at any time and any place. Aspects of user equipment
According to one aspect of the present application, a method for providing reading presence information is provided, which is applied to the user equipment 100. Referring to fig. 3, the method includes step S110, step S120, step S130, and step S140.
Specifically, in step S110, the user device sends a target presence information request to the network device in response to detecting an interactive operation on the current book in the reading interface. Wherein the current book refers to an electronic book that the user is currently reading. The reading interface presents a portion of the contents of the current book (e.g., the teletext content in selected pages, where the specific content in the pages is determined in some embodiments by partitioning the contents of the current book according to current page layout parameters). The interactive operation on the current book is, in some embodiments, a click, a long press, a double click, and the like of a relevant part (for example, a position corresponding to some specific characters) in a reading interface displayed on a display device (for example, a touch-sensitive liquid crystal display screen) of the user equipment by a user; the relevant portion of the book content (text, graphics, etc.) is displayed differently in some embodiments relative to other portions of the reading interface to indicate to the user that the portion of the content may interact. After detecting the interaction operation, the user device 100 sends a target presentation information request to the network device 200, where the target presentation information request is used to obtain and present corresponding content for the user to view, for example, the obtained content includes user comment information, and the user comment information is comment or comment information of other users corresponding to the above-mentioned relevant part of text and graphics, and the comment or comment information is usually hidden to avoid affecting the normal reading of the user.

In some embodiments, referring to fig. 5, the user device displays an information presentation window 100a on the screen, and the position of the information presentation window 100a on the screen may be preset, customized by the user, or changed based on the trigger position of the interactive operation. Here, in the information display window 100a, the reading presence information is presented to the current user by the user equipment, so that the current user can know the information of the relevant information in time in the process of reading the book. For example, the reading presence information may be one or more of information including, but not limited to, information related to the current book (e.g., a current chapter, a current day, or a cumulative number of words read, etc.), promotional information (e.g., an advertisement related to the current book or the current chapter, etc.), and the like. The reading presentation information corresponding to the interactive operation corresponds to a trigger position of the interactive operation on the screen in some embodiments, or matches with text content corresponding to the interactive operation, or corresponds to a name, an ID, and the like of a current book or chapter.
The order between the above steps S120 and S130 may be reversed in some embodiments. For example, in some embodiments, the reading presentation information and the user comment information are sent to the user equipment by the network equipment simultaneously or sequentially; in other embodiments, the reading presence information is already prepared by the user equipment before the user comment information sent by the network equipment, for example, the user equipment retrieves the reading presence information from a local storage.
Subsequently, in step S140, the user equipment displays the user comment information and the reading presentation information in the information display window. For example, in response to the above interaction operation, the user device presents the above user comment information and reading presentation information in the information presentation window 100a, so that the user can simultaneously read the comments or annotations of the reader of the current book (optionally, can also communicate with other readers, such as reply to comments or annotations) and the reading presentation information provided by the system, and thus the current user has a wider information source than the user can only read the comments or annotations of other readers; in some embodiments, the reading presentation information is customized based on the content of the current book or current chapter, and/or based on user information such as the reading history of the current user, the user profile, etc., so that the user can obtain precise relevant recommendations or message reminders.
The information display window 100a may be a window stacked on the upper layer of the reading interface of the current book, or may be a new window redrawn after jumping from the reading interface of the current book.
In some embodiments, the reading presence information and the user comment information are sent to the user equipment by the network equipment simultaneously or sequentially, for example, the network equipment determines the corresponding reading presence information and the corresponding user comment information in real time based on specific content in a target presence information request sent by the user equipment, so as to provide information with better real-time performance to the user. Accordingly, in the step S120, the user device receives the target presence information sent by the network device based on the target presence information request, where the target presence information includes the user comment information and the reading presence information corresponding to the interaction operation, and the user comment information and the reading presence information are determined in real time based on the target presence information request of the user device. In step S130, the user device parses the target presentation information to determine the user comment information and the reading presentation information contained in the target presentation information and to be presented in the information presentation window, for example, the network device packages the user comment information and the reading presentation information and sends the packaged user comment information and reading presentation information to the user device.
In some embodiments, the network device determines the corresponding reading presence information and user comment information in real time based on the specific content in the target presence information request sent by the user device, so as to provide the user with information with better real-time performance. In the substep S141, the user equipment displays the user comment information and the corresponding first image in an information display window; in the sub-step S142, the user equipment displays the reading presentation information and the corresponding second image in the information display window. The sub-step S141 and the sub-step S142 are not limited to a sequence, and may be executed synchronously in some embodiments. Referring to fig. 5, user comment information (and a user name of a user who posts the user comment information, and a first image 100b of the user), reading presentation information (and a title/body, etc., corresponding to the reading presentation information, and a corresponding second image 100c) are respectively displayed in an information display window 100 a. In some embodiments, the respective numbers of the user comment information and the reading presentation information are configured independently according to actual needs, so as to balance the information amount and the browsing efficiency.
In the case of the above 2), in the above step S120, the user device receives the target presence information (for example, it only contains the user comment information of the relevant user) sent by the network device based on the target presence information request and the first image of the user (for example, the avatar of the user) corresponding to the corresponding user comment information. Accordingly, in step S130, the user device determines a second image corresponding to the reading presence information in addition to the reading presence information, for example, the user device determines a different image as the second image based on different types of advertisements. In some embodiments, the user device matches the second image corresponding to the current reading presentation information from the plurality of candidate images based on correspondence of different categories of reading presentation information with respective second images. The second image is helpful for the user to intuitively know the general information such as the category and the main content of the currently read presented information, so that the information screening and browsing efficiency of the user can be improved. Similar to the above case, the above step S140 includes a sub step S141 and a sub step S142 (both not shown). The operations performed by the user equipment in sub-step S141 and sub-step S142 are the same or substantially the same as the above-mentioned operations, and are not described herein again and are included herein by reference.
In some embodiments, in the sub-step S142, the user equipment displays the reading presentation information in the information display window 100a, and displays the second image 100c based on the display parameter information of the first image 100b, for example, the second image 100c and the first image 100b have the same or similar left and right relative positions (or upper and lower relative positions, for example, the reading presentation information and the user comment information are arranged horizontally on the screen of the user equipment, but different from the vertical arrangement in fig. 5), the same or similar shapes, the same or similar areas, and the like on the screen of the user equipment, so as to organize the content in the information display window 100a, improve the utilization rate of the screen, and also avoid the influence of the user experience by the images with different sizes.
Some specific embodiments of the present application are detailed above in terms of user equipment.
Aspects of network devices
Corresponding to the method for providing the reading presence information applied to the user equipment, the application also provides a method for providing the reading presence information, which is applied to the network equipment. Referring to fig. 6, the method includes step S210, step S220, and step S230.
Specifically, in step S210, the network device receives a target presence information request sent by the user device. The target presentation information request is used for acquiring corresponding user comment information, the user comment information is comment or comment information of other users corresponding to the characters and the graphs of the relevant parts, and the comment or comment information is usually hidden so as to avoid influencing normal reading of the users.
Subsequently, in step S220, the network device determines, based on the target presence information request, user comment information corresponding to the target presence information request. The user comment information is comment information which is added by one or a plurality of readers of the current book and points to the corresponding position; the reader who adds the user comment information may be other users than the current user, or may include the current user. Accordingly, in some embodiments, the target presentation information request includes identification information (e.g., book name or ID) of a current book being read by the user and a location corresponding to the user comment information (or a location corresponding to an interactive operation of the user), and the corresponding user comment information is queried based on the identification information of the current book and the location corresponding to the user comment information to obtain the user comment information.
In step S230, the network device sends target presence information to the user device, where the target presence information includes the user comment information. After receiving the user comment information, the user equipment displays the user comment information and the reading presentation information corresponding to the target presentation information request in an information display window on a screen of the user equipment.
In some embodiments, the reading presence information and the user comment information are sent to the user equipment by the network equipment simultaneously or sequentially, for example, the network equipment determines the corresponding reading presence information and the corresponding user comment information in real time based on specific content in a target presence information request sent by the user equipment, so as to provide information with better real-time performance to the user. Accordingly, in the step S210, the network device determines, based on the target presence information request, user comment information and reading presence information corresponding to the target presence information request, where the user comment information and reading presence information are determined by matching in real time based on the target presence information request of the user device (for example, specifically, according to a book name or ID in the request, a context in a paragraph, a reading history of the user, and the like); then, in step S230, the network device sends target presence information to the user device, where the target presence information includes the aforementioned user comment information and reading presence information.
In some embodiments, the network device determines the corresponding reading presence information and the user comment information in real time based on the specific content in the target presence information request sent by the user device, so as to provide the information with better real-time performance for the user. Specifically, the target presentation information request includes operation feature information corresponding to an interactive operation of the user equipment. In step S220, the network device determines the user comment information corresponding to the target presence information request, and determines (for example, queries and matches according to a preset mapping relationship) the reading presence information corresponding to the operation feature information based on the operation feature information. In some embodiments, the operation characteristic information includes any one of the following items, or a combination of any several of the following items, and is used to provide personalized recommendations for the user:
book information of the current book, such as the name or ID of the current book;
-interoperating corresponding reading location information, such as where the current paragraph or comment/comment is located in the current book;
-interoperating corresponding book context information, such as keywords contained in paragraphs or sentences where comments/annotations are located;
user information of the current user, e.g. the ID of the current user.
In some embodiments, each user has an image that identifies itself to distinguish other users, e.g., each user selects or uploads an image as their "avatar". The network device sends the image and the user comment information to the user device. For the reading presentation information, in order to help the user to intuitively know the general information such as the category and the main content of the current reading presentation information so as to improve the information screening and browsing efficiency of the user, a corresponding image can be set for the reading presentation information. Wherein, in some cases, the read presence information is sent by the network device in real-time in response to a target presence information request sent by the user device. At this time, in the step S220, the network device determines, based on the target presence information request, the user comment information and the reading presence information corresponding to the target presence information request, and the first image and the second image corresponding to the reading presence information of the user corresponding to the user comment information.
Wherein the network device determines a different image as the second image based on the different categories of advertisements. In some embodiments, the network device matches the second image corresponding to the current reading presentation information from the plurality of candidate images based on the correspondence of the different categories of reading presentation information with the respective second images. The second image is helpful for the user to intuitively know the general information such as the category and the main content of the currently read presented information, so that the information screening and browsing efficiency of the user can be improved. In particular, the second image is determined in some embodiments based on a current book being read by the user (or a historical read book). For example, each electronic book (or historical reading book) is classified, without limitation, into cities, moods, hallucinations, and the like according to the major category of each electronic book; wherein, corresponding images are made in advance for each large class, for example, images of the speaking class books corresponding to the "major track president". For reading the content of the presentation information (e.g., advertisement), the advertiser may target based on the user's demographic attributes (e.g., the user's age, gender, etc.) and reading behavior (e.g., whether the user is most often watching an audio or fantasy book, etc.). Specifically, for example, for a female user who often watches books that talk to the emotion, the user is provided with an advertisement for a product that the female likes.
In the case that the target presence information request includes operation feature information corresponding to an interactive operation of the user equipment, in some embodiments, in step S220, the network device determines user comment information corresponding to the target presence information request and a first image (e.g., a user avatar) of a user corresponding to the user comment information; and based on the operation characteristic information, reading presentation information corresponding to the operation characteristic information and a second image corresponding to the reading presentation information are determined, so that personalized reading presentation information (such as promotion information of advertisements and the like) and a corresponding personalized image are provided for a user, more accurate information is provided for the user, and meanwhile, the user can rapidly screen required information through the personalized customized second image, so that browsing and operation efficiency is improved.
In addition, for a situation that the user equipment needs to acquire the candidate reading presence information for successively displaying to the user, the user equipment may acquire the candidate reading presence information from the network equipment when the candidate reading presence information does not exist locally (for example, the candidate reading presence information has been completely displayed before, or the corresponding cache has been emptied). Accordingly, the above method further includes step S240 (not shown). In this step S240, the network device responds to the request of the user device to provide the candidate reading presence information to the user device. For example, the user equipment sends a candidate information request to the network equipment, and after receiving the request, the network equipment returns one or more candidate reading presentation information items to the user equipment. By returning a plurality of candidate reading presentation information at one time, the system can intensively send the candidate reading presentation information when the user equipment is convenient (for example, the user equipment accesses the network through a wireless hotspot instead of the cellular network), so that the user equipment can successively present the candidate reading presentation information to the user, thereby improving the utilization rate of network bandwidth, and reducing the communication frequency of the user equipment to save energy.
On the basis, in order to further reduce the communication frequency and the power consumption of the user equipment, the candidate reading presence information can also be sent by the network equipment after receiving the target presence information request sent by the user equipment, so that the user equipment does not need to detect whether the candidate reading presence information exists locally or not frequently. Specifically, the target presentation information sent by the network device further includes candidate reading presentation information; after receiving the target presentation information, the user equipment determines the reading presentation information to be presented in the information presentation window in the candidate reading presentation information based on the operation characteristic information. In addition, the user equipment can also combine the candidate reading presentation information sent by the network equipment to the local candidate reading presentation information; in order to avoid that the candidate reading presentation information occupies too much storage space, the user equipment may discard the candidate reading presentation information sent by the network equipment when the number of items of the local candidate reading presentation information reaches a preset threshold value, so as to improve the utilization rate of the local storage space.
Some specific embodiments of the present application are detailed above in terms of network devices.
According to another aspect of the present application, the present application provides a user equipment 100. Referring to fig. 7, the user equipment 100 includes a first module 110, a first second module 120, a first third module 130, and a first fourth module 140. The first module 110, the first second module 120, the first third module 130, and the first fourth module 140 are respectively configured to perform the operations of step S110, step S120, step S130, and step S140, and for a specific implementation, reference is made to the related embodiments, which are not repeated herein.
According to another aspect of the present application, a network device 200 is provided. Referring to fig. 8, the network device 200 includes a second first module 210, a second module 220, and a second third module 230. The second first module 210, the second module 220, and the second third module 230 are respectively configured to perform the operations of step S210, step S220, and step S230, and for a specific implementation, reference is made to the related embodiments and details are not repeated herein.
It should be understood that the above-mentioned embodiments are only examples, and are not intended to limit the specific embodiments of the present application in any way; those skilled in the art can make corresponding changes according to actual needs.

As shown in fig. 9, in some embodiments, the system 1000 can be implemented as any one of the user devices or network devices in the various described embodiments. In some embodiments, system 1000 may include one or more computer-readable media (e.g., system memory or NVM/storage 1020) having instructions and one or more processors (e.g., processor(s) 1005) coupled with the one or more computer-readable media and configured to execute the instructions to implement modules to perform the actions described herein.
For one embodiment, system control module 1010 may include any suitable interface controllers to provide any suitable interface to at least one of the processor(s) 1005 and/or to any suitable device or component in communication with system control module 1010.
The system control module 1010 may include a memory controller module 1030 to provide an interface to the system memory 1015. Memory controller module 1030 may be a hardware module, a software module, and/or a firmware module.
System memory 1015 may be used to load and store data and/or instructions, for example, for system 1000. For one embodiment, system memory 1015 may include any suitable volatile memory, such as suitable DRAM. In some embodiments, the system memory 1015 may include a double data rate type four synchronous dynamic random access memory (DDR4 SDRAM).
For one embodiment, system control module 1010 may include one or more input/output (I/O) controllers to provide an interface to NVM/storage 1020 and communication interface(s) 1025.
For example, NVM/storage 1020 may be used to store data and/or instructions. NVM/storage 1020 may include any suitable non-volatile memory (e.g., flash memory) and/or may include any suitable non-volatile storage device(s) (e.g., one or more Hard Disk drive(s) (HDD (s)), one or more Compact Disc (CD) drive(s), and/or one or more Digital Versatile Disc (DVD) drive (s)).
NVM/storage 1020 may include storage resources that are physically part of a device on which system 1000 is installed or may be accessed by the device and not necessarily part of the device. For example, NVM/storage 1020 may be accessed over a network via communication interface(s) 1025.
Communication interface(s) 1025 may provide an interface for system 1000 to communicate over one or more networks and/or with any other suitable device. System 1000 may communicate wirelessly with one or more components of a wireless network according to any of one or more wireless network standards and/or protocols.
For one embodiment, at least one of the processor(s) 1005 may be packaged together with logic for one or more controller(s) of the system control module 1010, e.g., memory controller module 1030. For one embodiment, at least one of the processor(s) 1005 may be packaged together with logic for one or more controller(s) of the system control module 1010 to form a System In Package (SiP). For one embodiment, at least one of the processor(s) 1005 may be integrated on the same die with logic for one or more controller(s) of the system control module 1010. For one embodiment, at least one of the processor(s) 1005 may be integrated on the same die with logic of one or more controllers of the system control module 1010 to form a system on a chip (SoC).
In various embodiments, system 1000 may be, but is not limited to being, a server, a workstation, a desktop computing device, or a mobile computing device (e.g., a laptop computing device, a handheld computing device, a tablet, a netbook, etc.).
It should be noted that the present application may be implemented in software and/or a combination of software and hardware, for example, implemented using Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), general purpose computers or any other similar hardware devices. In one embodiment, the software programs of the present application may be executed by a processor to implement the steps or functions described above. Likewise, the software programs (including associated data structures) of the present application may be stored in a computer readable recording medium, such as RAM memory, magnetic or optical drive or diskette and the like. Claims (22)

1. A method for providing reading presence information is applied to user equipment;
wherein, the method comprises the following steps:
sending a target presentation information request to network equipment in response to detecting the interactive operation on the current book in the reading interface;
receiving target presentation information sent by the network equipment based on the target presentation information request, wherein the target presentation information comprises user comment information;
determining reading presentation information to be presented in the information presentation window;
and displaying the user comment information and the reading presentation information in the information display window.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the target presentation information further comprises reading presentation information corresponding to the interaction operation;
the determining of the reading presentation information to be presented in the information presentation window includes:
and analyzing the target presentation information to determine the user comment information and the reading presentation information corresponding to the interactive operation to be presented in the information presentation window.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein said sending a target presence information request to a network device in response to detecting an interactive operation with a current book in a reading interface comprises:
in response to the detection of the interactive operation on the current book in the reading interface, determining operation characteristic information corresponding to the interactive operation;
sending a target presence information request to a network device, wherein the target presence information request includes the operational characteristic information;
and the network equipment determines reading presentation information corresponding to the interactive operation based on the operation characteristic information.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein the operational characteristic information comprises at least any one of:
reading position information corresponding to the interactive operation;
book context information corresponding to the interactive operation;
book information of the current book;
user information of the current user.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein said sending a target presence information request to a network device in response to detecting an interactive operation with a current book in a reading interface comprises:
in response to the detection of the interactive operation on the current book in the reading interface, determining operation characteristic information corresponding to the interactive operation, and sending a target presentation information request to network equipment;
the determining of the reading presentation information to be presented in the information presentation window includes:
and determining reading presentation information to be presented in the information presentation window based on the operation characteristic information.
6. The method of claim 5, wherein prior to said determining reading presentation information to be presented in an information presentation window, the method further comprises:
acquiring candidate reading presentation information;
the determining of the reading presentation information to be presented in the information presentation window includes:
and determining reading presentation information to be presented in the information presentation window from the candidate reading presentation information based on the operation characteristic information.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein the obtaining of candidate reading presentation information comprises:

determining reading presentation information to be displayed in an information display window and a second image corresponding to the reading presentation information;
the displaying the user comment information and the reading presentation information in the information display window includes:

11. The method of claim 1, wherein the receiving target presence information sent by the network device based on the target presence information request, wherein the target presence information includes user comment information comprises:
receiving target presentation information sent by the network equipment based on the comment information request, wherein the target presentation information comprises user comment information, reading presentation information corresponding to the interactive operation, a first image of a user corresponding to the user comment information, and a second image corresponding to the reading presentation information;
the displaying the user comment information and the reading presentation information in the information display window includes:
displaying the user comment information and the first image in the information display window;
and displaying the reading presentation information and the second image in the information display window.
12. The method of claim 10 or 11, wherein said presenting said reading presentation information and said second image in said information presentation window comprises:
and displaying the reading presentation information in the information display window, and displaying the second image based on the display parameter information of the first image.
13. A method for providing reading presence information is applied to network equipment;
wherein, the method comprises the following steps:
receiving a target presentation information request sent by user equipment;
determining user comment information corresponding to the target presentation information request based on the target presentation information request;
sending target presentation information to the user equipment, wherein the target presentation information comprises the user comment information;
and the user equipment displays the user comment information and the reading presentation information corresponding to the comment information request in an information display window.
14. The method of claim 13, wherein said determining, based on the target presence information request, user comment information to which the target presence information request corresponds comprises:
based on the target presentation information request, determining user comment information and reading presentation information corresponding to the target presentation information request;
the sending of target presentation information to the user equipment, the target presentation information including the user comment information, includes:
sending target presentation information to the user equipment, wherein the target presentation information comprises the user comment information and the reading presentation information.
15. The method of claim 14, wherein the target presentation information request includes operational characteristic information corresponding to an interactive operation of the user device;
the determining, based on the target presence information request, user comment information corresponding to the target presence information request includes:
determining user comment information corresponding to the target presentation information request;
and determining reading presentation information corresponding to the operation characteristic information based on the operation characteristic information.
16. The method of claim 14 or 15, wherein said determining, based on the target presence information request, user comment information to which the target presence information request corresponds comprises:
based on the target presentation information request, determining user comment information and reading presentation information corresponding to the target presentation information request, and a first image of a user corresponding to the user comment information and a second image corresponding to the reading presentation information;
the sending target presentation information to the user equipment, wherein the target presentation information includes the user comment information and the reading presentation information, includes:
sending target presenting information to the user equipment, wherein the target presenting information comprises the user comment information, the reading presenting information, and the first image and the second image.
17. The method of claim 16, wherein the target presentation information request includes operational characteristic information corresponding to an interactive operation of the user device;
the determining, based on the target presence information request, user comment information corresponding to the target presence information request includes:
determining user comment information corresponding to the target presentation information request and a first image of a user corresponding to the user comment information;
and determining reading presentation information corresponding to the operation characteristic information and a second image corresponding to the reading presentation information based on the operation characteristic information.
18. The method of claim 13, wherein the method further comprises:
responding to a request of the user equipment to provide candidate reading presence information to the user equipment;
and the user equipment determines the reading presentation information to be presented in the information presentation window in the candidate reading presentation information.
19. The method of claim 13, wherein the target presentation information further comprises candidate reading presentation information;
and the user equipment determines the reading presentation information to be presented in the information presentation window in the candidate reading presentation information.
20. A method for providing reading presence information is applied to a system, and the system comprises user equipment and network equipment;
wherein the method comprises the following steps:
the user equipment responds to the detection of interactive operation on the current book in the reading interface and sends a target presentation information request to the network equipment;
the network equipment determines user comment information corresponding to the target presentation information request based on the target presentation information request, and sends target presentation information to the user equipment, wherein the target presentation information comprises the user comment information;
