Fig. 1 illustrates a typical scenario of the present application, where a user holds a user device, and a reading application (e.g., an arbitrary reading-type application) is installed in the user device. The method comprises the steps that user equipment detects whether a current page of the reading application is a reading page, if the current page is a non-reading page, and a page opened by the user equipment before the current page is a reading page, the user equipment detects whether the time for opening the current page exceeds a preset time threshold, and if the time for opening the current page exceeds the preset time threshold, a book display popup window is generated and displayed on the current page of the reading application, wherein the book display popup window contains book information automatically searched for the reading application, and the user equipment comprises but is not limited to computing equipment such as a mobile phone, a tablet and a computer.
Fig. 2 shows a method for providing book information in a reading application, applied to a user equipment, according to an embodiment of the present application, and the method includes step S101 and step S102.
Specifically, in step S101, if a current page of a reading application in user equipment is a non-reading page and at least one history access page before the current page is a reading page, the user equipment detects whether the reading application satisfies an automatic book search trigger condition, where the reading application keeps a foreground active state from the at least one history access page to the current page in the user equipment. And under the condition that the reading application is always kept in a foreground active state from the at least one history access page to the current page in the user equipment, the user equipment judges that the reading application is in use, and provides a basis for detecting whether the reading application meets the triggering condition of automatic book searching or not under the condition. In some embodiments, the method further comprises step S103 (not shown), and in step S103, the user equipment detects whether the current page is a non-reading page. On the basis of detecting whether the current reading page is a non-reading page, a basis is provided for determining whether to display the book popup window on the basis of the detection. In some embodiments, the detecting whether the current page is a non-reading page includes: the user equipment determines the page attribute of the current page according to the page setting information in the reading application; if the page attribute of the current page is a functional page, confirming that the current page is a non-reading page; otherwise, confirming that the current page is a reading page. For example, when the user equipment sets each application page, a corresponding page attribute is set at the same time, and the user equipment determines whether the current page is a non-reading page according to the page attribute, where in some embodiments, the non-reading page is generally a functional page (e.g., a bookshelf, user personal information, etc.). And providing a basis for subsequently detecting book triggering conditions under the condition of judging whether the current page of the reading application in the user equipment is a non-reading page. In some embodiments, the detecting whether the current page is a non-reading page includes: the user equipment detects whether the current page is a candidate non-reading page or not according to the page text information corresponding to the current page and by combining the statistical text quantity information of the reading pages in the reading application; and if the current page is a candidate non-reading page and the previous page of the current page is also a candidate non-reading page or the previous page and the current page do not belong to the same book, determining that the current page is a non-reading page. On the basis of detecting whether the current reading page is a non-reading page, a basis is provided for determining whether to display the book popup window on the basis of the detection.
In some embodiments, the detecting, according to the page text information corresponding to the current page and in combination with the statistical text quantity information of the reading pages in the reading application, whether the current page is a candidate non-reading page includes: determining first character quantity information corresponding to a first character size in the current page according to the page character information corresponding to the current page, wherein the first character quantity information is larger than the character quantity information corresponding to other character sizes in the current page; and comparing the first character quantity information with the statistical character quantity information of the reading pages in the reading application, and if the ratio information of the first character quantity information and the statistical character quantity information is less than or equal to a preset reading page character proportion threshold value, determining that the current page is a candidate non-reading page. For example, taking a reading page as an example, the user equipment obtains page text information in a current page, for example, text quantity information corresponding to each text size (text font size), where first text quantity information corresponding to a first text size is larger than text quantity information corresponding to other text sizes in the current page, and the user equipment determines that text presented in the current page in the first text size is main text information of the current page. On the other hand, the user equipment acquires statistical word quantity information (for example, word quantity information in a reading page in a normal case) of the reading page in the reading application from a database or a local cache, and if ratio information of the first word quantity information and the statistical word quantity information is less than or equal to a predetermined reading page word proportion threshold, the user equipment determines that a difference between the word quantity information in the current page and the word quantity information in the reading page in the normal case is too large, and determines that the current page is a candidate non-reading page. In this case, a basis is provided for subsequently determining whether to display the book pop-up window based thereon. On the basis of determining that the current page is a candidate non-reading page, if the previous page of the current page is also a candidate non-reading page, determining that the current page is a non-reading page, thereby excluding a case that the current reading page is the last reading page in the reading section (for example, the number of characters in the last reading page is small); or, on the basis of determining that the current page is a candidate non-reading page, if the previous page is a reading page and the previous page and the current page do not belong to the same book, the situation that the current reading page is the last reading page in the reading section (for example, the number of characters in the last reading page is small) is excluded.
In step S102, if the reading application satisfies the triggering condition for automatic book search, the user equipment generates and displays a book display popup in the reading application, where the book display popup includes book information automatically searched for by the reading application. In some embodiments, the current page and the book display popup are two different windows, and in some embodiments, only the book display popup receives a trigger operation of a user during a presentation process of the book display popup. For example, in the process that the book display popup is displayed on the current page, if the user clicks the current page, the current page is not triggered to any operation. And if the user clicks the book display window, the book display window performs corresponding book presentation based on the triggering operation of the user. In some embodiments, the user equipment displays the first chapter reading page of the book information in response to the user's reading triggering operation on the book display popup. For example, the book display popup receives a triggering operation (e.g., a click-to-read operation) of the user, and displays book information automatically searched by the reading application based on the triggering operation of the user. Under the condition, the user can directly obtain the book entrance conveniently, and the reading experience of the user is improved.
In some embodiments, the book auto-lookup triggering condition includes at least any one of:
1) the minimum time interval between the time when the reading application starts to present the current page and the exit time of the at least one historical access page is greater than or equal to a first preset time difference value;
for example, when the user device detects that a time difference between a time when the reading application presents a current page (non-reading page) and an exit time of a reading page closest to the current page (for example, a time when the user exits from a reading page and then does not read the page) is greater than a first predetermined time difference (for example, 2min), the user device determines that the user is in a stage of searching for a new book. In this case, the user device presents a book display popup including book information that the reading application automatically finds to the user, wherein the book display popup is presented in an overlapping manner in the current page.
2) The reading application comprises a book city page or a search page of the reading application in a page access log between the current page and the at least one historical access page;
for example, if the user leaves the at least one history access page and enters a page of a book city or a search page, the user device confirms that the user has a tendency to search for books, and in this case, the user device presents a book display popup window including information of books automatically searched by the reading application to the user, thereby improving the use experience of the reading application of the user. In some embodiments, the book auto-lookup triggering condition includes that the reading application includes a book city page or a search page of the reading application in a page access log between the current page and the at least one historical access page; the detecting whether the reading application meets the triggering condition for automatic book search includes: extracting one or more access events for the book city page or search page from a page access log between the current page and the at least one historical access page by the reading application; determining whether the reading application meets the book auto-lookup triggering condition according to the one or more access events. For example, each access event in the one or more access events represents that the user is currently accessing a book city page or a search page in the reading application, and the user device determines whether the reading application satisfies the book automatic search trigger condition according to the access event about the book city page or the search page in the page access log. Event information about a page of a book city or a search page is determined according to the page access log information, and whether the reading application meets the triggering condition for automatic book search or not can be detected more accurately. In some embodiments, the determining whether the reading application satisfies the book auto-lookup triggering condition according to the one or more access events includes: accumulating the access duration corresponding to each access event in the one or more access events to obtain accumulated access duration information about the book city page or the search page; and if the accumulated access duration information of the book city page or the search page is larger than second preset duration information, determining that the reading application meets the automatic book search triggering condition. For example, the user equipment obtains an access duration corresponding to each access event in the one or more access events (for example, each access duration of the user to the page of the book city or the search page), and accumulates the access durations corresponding to the access events to obtain cumulative access duration information, for example, if the cumulative time that the user browses through the page of the book city is longer than second predetermined duration information, the user equipment determines that the current user is searching for book information. In this case, the user device presents a book display popup including book information that the reading application automatically finds to the user, wherein the book display popup is presented in an overlapping manner in the current page.
3) The reading application displays the time length information of the at least one historical access page, wherein the time length information is less than third preset time length information;
for example, if the user device detects that the time length of the page read by the user is less than a third predetermined time length, the user device determines that the current user is in a stage where no book can be seen (and may find a new book), in this case, the user device presents a book display popup window including book information automatically searched by the reading application to the user, wherein the book display popup window is superimposed and presented in the current page. The book recommendation is given to the user at a proper time, so that the reading experience of the user can be improved.
In some embodiments, in step S102, if the reading application satisfies the automatic book search trigger condition, a book display popup is generated in the reading application; detecting whether the book display popup meets a preset popup display condition; if the book display popup meets the popup display condition, displaying the book display popup in the reading application, wherein the book display popup contains book information automatically searched for by the reading application; otherwise, canceling the display of the book display popup window; or delaying to display the book display popup until the book display popup meets the popup display condition. For example, when the reading application meets the automatic book search triggering condition, the user equipment generates a book display popup, and presents the book display popup when the book display popup meets a predetermined popup display condition, so that the presentation of the book display popup better meets the requirements of the user, and the reading experience of the user is improved.
In some embodiments, the pop-up display condition includes at least any one of:
1) the accumulated times of the reading application presenting the popup in the unit time period is less than a preset popup frequency threshold; for example, the book display popup is presented less than a predetermined number threshold (e.g., twice) within a day. Therefore, the user is prevented from being disturbed for many times, and the pop-up window time can be recommended to the appropriate book of the user, so that the user experience is improved.
2) The time interval between the presentation time of the book display popup and the presentation time of the latest book display popup in the reading application is greater than a preset time difference threshold value. For example, the presentation time of the book display popup is 15:30, the last presentation time of the book display popup is 15: 20, the time of the two book display pop-up window presentations is less than a predetermined time difference threshold (e.g., 15min), and in some embodiments, the book information automatically looked up by the reading application contained in the two book display pop-up windows may not be consistent. Under the condition, the book display popup window is prevented from frequently popping up, so that the frequency of disturbing a user is reduced, and the experience of the user is improved.
In some embodiments, the book information that the reading application automatically finds is determined by at least any one of:
the book reading information of other users;
book information manually recommended by other users in the reading application;
book information determined based on user portrait information;
in some embodiments, in a reading application, other users may make on-reading book recommendations or manual book recommendations in a public platform (e.g., "drift bottle") of the reading application, which may affect the book information that the user recommends in the book display popup. For example, user a manually throws out book information named AA in a drift bottle application of a reading application (e.g., user a manually recommends book AA), which is stored to a corresponding network device. And if the reading application of the user B meets the automatic book searching triggering condition, the user equipment acquires the recommended book from the network equipment, and generates and displays a book display popup window in the reading application of the user B, wherein the book display popup window comprises a book AA recommended by the user A. In this case, interactivity between users may be increased, thereby increasing the user's stickiness to reading applications. In some embodiments, the book information automatically searched by the reading application is generated by the user portrait information of the user so as to better fit the reading requirements of the user. In some embodiments, in step S102, if the reading application satisfies the automatic book search trigger condition, a book acquisition request is sent to a network device; and receiving book information which is returned by the network equipment in response to the book acquisition request and is automatically searched for the reading application, and generating and displaying a book display popup window in the reading application, wherein the book display popup window contains the book information which is automatically searched for the reading application. For example, in a case that the reading application satisfies the triggering condition for automatic book search, the user device sends a book acquisition request to the network device, where the book acquisition request includes identification information (e.g., a user name) of the user, and the network device determines portrait information of the user according to the identification information of the user and matches a corresponding recommended book based on the portrait information of the user. And after the network equipment returns the recommended book to the user equipment, the user equipment generates and displays a book display popup window comprising the recommended book in the reading application. Thereby accurately matching the relevant book information for the user.
For example, fig. 3 shows a schematic diagram for providing book information in a reading application, wherein a user holds a user device, the user device is provided with the reading application, and the user device presents a reading page in response to a triggering operation of the book by the user. If the staying time of the user on the bookshelf page after exiting the reading page is larger than a preset time threshold (for example, 2min), the user equipment presents a popup window "recommended for you" on the bookshelf page, wherein the popup window contains book information automatically searched for by the reading application.
Fig. 4 shows a flowchart of a method for providing book information in a reading application, wherein a user device presents a reading page in response to a triggering operation of the book by the user, according to an embodiment of the present application. If the time for the user to jump out of the reading page is less than or equal to 2min, the user equipment continues timing; and if the time for the user to jump out of the reading page is more than 2min, the user equipment sends a book recommendation request to the network equipment and receives book information returned by the network equipment based on user characteristics (such as user portrait information). The user device presents the book in a pop-up window in the form of a page pop-up window.
Fig. 5 shows a user device for providing book information in a reading application according to an embodiment of the present application, the user device includes a one-module 101 and a two-module 102.
Specifically, the one-to-one module 101 is configured to detect whether the reading application satisfies an automatic book search trigger condition if a current page of the reading application in the user equipment is a non-reading page and at least one history access page before the current page is a reading page, where the reading application keeps a foreground active state from the at least one history access page to the current page in the user equipment. And under the condition that the reading application is always kept in a foreground active state from the at least one history access page to the current page in the user equipment, the user equipment judges that the reading application is in use, and provides a basis for detecting whether the reading application meets the triggering condition of automatic book searching or not under the condition. In some embodiments, the user equipment further includes a third module 103 (not shown), and the third module 103 is configured to detect whether the current page is a non-reading page. An example of a specific implementation manner of the third module 103 is the same as or similar to the embodiment related to S103 in fig. 2, and therefore, is not described again, and is included herein by reference. The operation of detecting whether the current page is a non-reading page is the same as or similar to that of the embodiment shown in fig. 2, and therefore, the description thereof is omitted, and the description is incorporated herein by reference.
