Description
Technical Field
The invention particularly relates to a ligusticum wallichii extract with mosquito repelling and itching relieving effects and application thereof.
Background
Mosquitoes are the transmission vectors of severe infectious diseases such as malaria, epidemic encephalitis B, dengue fever, yellow fever and the like, and the mosquitoes can cause uncomfortable symptoms such as pruritus, gall, dermatitis and the like after blood sucking, thereby seriously harming human health. In order to reduce the harm of mosquitoes and the like, various mosquito-repelling and itching-relieving products become necessary sanitary products for people in summer, and mainly comprise floral water, essential oil, herbal oil and the like. With the continuous expansion of the use population of mosquito-repellent and itching-relieving products, the safety of the products is widely concerned, and particularly, the application of chemical repellents such as deet causes certain toxic and side effects to people, especially pregnant women and children.
In Chinese pharmacopoeia (2010 version), 151 finished preparations contain ligusticum wallichii accounting for 9.21% of the total 1640 Chinese patent medicines, the traditional Chinese medicine ligusticum wallichii is derived from dried rhizomes of L igustric chuanxinong Hort of Umbelliferae, and the extract of the ligusticum wallichii has the effects of activating blood and promoting qi circulation, and dispelling wind and relieving pain.
At present, no report about the mosquito repelling and itching relieving effects of the ligusticum wallichii extract exists, and a mosquito repelling and itching relieving skin care product which takes the ligusticum wallichii extract as an active ingredient, is obvious in effect and safe to use is also absent in the market.

3. mosquito repellent effect test of ligusticum wallichii essential oil
The prepared ligusticum wallichii essential oil is combined with permethrin and a high polymer slow release agent to prepare PD-1, PD-2 and PD-3 long-acting repellents, a repellent effect test is carried out on the termite albopictus in a laboratory, and compared with the repellent effects of Deet crude oil and 3 commercially available repellents, the results are as follows: human body presses 1.5μV cm2Or 1.5mg/cm2After treatment, the effective protection rate of the PD type repellent reaches over 90 percent, and the PD type repellent is obviously superior to Deet crude oil and commercial repellent and has obvious effect.
4. Analysis of effect of Ligusticum chuanxiong essential oil mosquito repellent prepared by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction
The effect of the supercritical carbon dioxide extraction of the essential oil for avoiding mosquitoes is better:
1) the distillation extraction temperature is too high, so that the top note components are difficult to recover; the heating temperature is kept at 100 ℃ or above, so that some components (such as wax and the like) with low volatility are also brought out and mixed into the essential oil, the quality of the essential oil is seriously influenced by excessive wax components, the essential oil extracted by supercritical carbon dioxide has no problems, and the mosquito repelling effect is better;
2) the distillation extraction oil-water separation is difficult: the ligusticum wallichii essential oil is a mixture consisting of a plurality of micromolecular compounds, has certain water solubility, and a large amount of water is added in distillation extraction, so that the oil-water ratio is increased, the essential oil is difficult to separate from water, and the critical carbon dioxide extraction uses an organic solvent, so that the essential oil can be volatilized at normal temperature, and the quality of the essential oil is improved.
