本公开提供了个人护理组合物,其包含添加到具有低pH的阳离子和非离子表面活性剂体系中的聚丙烯酸酯聚合物。在各种实施方案中,聚丙烯酸酯聚合物包含聚丙烯酸酯-1交联聚合物。本发明人已惊奇地发现,在约1重量%至约7重量%之间的浓度下,聚丙烯酸酯-1交联聚合物出乎意料地增加阳离子和非离子表面活性剂体系的泡沫特性并提供该体系长时间悬浮颗粒的能力。

组合物还包含非离子表面活性剂。可用于组合物中的非离子表面活性剂可广义地定义为通过使环氧烷基团(本质上亲水的)与本质上可为脂族或烷基芳族化合物的有机疏水性化合物缩合而产生的化合物。合适的非离子表面活性剂的实例包括泊洛沙姆(以商品名销售)、聚氧乙烯、聚氧乙烯脱水山梨糖醇酯(以商品名销售)、聚乙二醇40氢化蓖麻油、脂肪醇乙氧基化物、烷基酚的聚环氧乙烷缩合物、衍生自环氧乙烷与环氧丙烷和乙二胺的反应产物的缩合的产物、脂族醇的环氧乙烷缩合物、烷基多糖苷(例如,多糖苷的脂肪醇醚,例如多葡糖苷的脂肪醇醚,如葡萄糖的癸醚、月桂醚、辛醚、辛酰醚、肉豆寇醚、硬脂醚和其他醚以及多葡糖苷聚合物,包括例如辛基/辛酰基((C8-10))葡糖苷、椰油基(C8-16)葡糖苷和月桂基(C12-16)葡糖苷的混合醚)、长链叔胺氧化物、长链叔膦氧化物、长链二烷基亚砜以及这些物质的混合物。

在其他实施方案中,酸性聚合物可包含一个或多个羧基基团,例如选自合成阴离子线型聚羧酸酯的一种或多种。适宜的分子量随特定的聚合物、交联或支化的程度及酸性官能团的比例而异,但通常分子量高于5000g/mol。在各种实施方案中,酸性聚合物可呈线型或非线型(即,支化)形式或线型和支化形式的混合物,主链或侧链可含有各种疏水性部分如甲基丙烯酸甲酯单体、烷烃链等,和/或亲水性的不带电荷的部分如PEG或PPG,以及带酸性官能团的部分。酸性聚合物的实例包括合成阴离子线型聚羧酸酯并可选自各种包含乙烯基、丙烯酸、马来酸的阴离子聚合物主链。沿聚合物主链的羧酸酯部分可来自单体自身,如在丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸或马来酸的情况下,或者可由聚合物的水解产生,如在聚丙烯酸丁酯的情况下。酸性聚合物可由酸性官能单体的共聚物或均聚物或其混合物构成。
在一些实施方案中,“合成阴离子线型聚羧酸酯”是指马来酸酐或酸与另一可聚合烯键式不饱和单体例如甲基乙烯基醚(甲氧基乙烯)的1∶4至4∶1共聚物,具有约30,000至约2,500,000的分子量(M.W.);例如,甲基乙烯基醚/马来酸酐的1∶4至4∶1、例如约1∶1共聚物,其中所述酸酐在共聚后水解以提供相应的酸,具有约30,000至约1,000,000、例如约300,000至约800,000的分子量(M.W.),例如以商品名出售,例如可得自AshlandSpecialty Chemicals,Bound Brook,N.J.08805的医药级S-97(M.W.大约700,000)。
在各种实施方案中,组合物还包含非离子聚合物。如本文所用,“非离子聚合物”为在相关pH下例如在pH 3至10之间不形成离子物种的水溶性聚合物,例如在某些实施方案中选自一种或多种聚(环氧烷)聚合物,例如选自聚乙二醇(PEG)、聚丙二醇(PPG)、泊洛沙姆(PEG和PPG的嵌段共聚物)、PEG和PPG的无规共聚物及其混合物。在一些实施方案中,非离子聚合物具有至少3000D、例如6kDa至250kDa的分子量。分子量可随聚合物的特定类型、支化程度(如果有的话)和所用浓度而异。采用例如分子量介于6kDa和35kDa之间的PEG进行的实验显示,在较低的浓度下,例如在与其他成分的特定组合中浓度为3%时,需要较高分子量例如35kDa的材料来形成双相体系,但在具有较高PEG水平的制剂中,具有较低分子量例如6kDa的PEG可支持双相体系。在特定的实施方案中,非离子聚合物包含(i)聚乙二醇(MW5kDa-35kDa)与(ii)泊洛沙姆(即,环氧乙烷/环氧丙烷嵌段共聚物)例如泊洛沙姆407的混合物,所述泊洛沙姆为由侧接两个聚乙二醇亲水性嵌段的聚丙二醇中心疏水性嵌段组成的三嵌段共聚物,其中两个PEG嵌段的大致长度为约101个重复单元,而丙二醇嵌段的大致长度为约56个重复单元,其可例如以Pluronic F127(巴斯夫(BASF))商购获得。
在一些实施方案中,组合物包含至少一种结构化剂。结构化剂可以以水性溶液、分散液或乳液的形式添加到组合物中。结构化剂增加组合物的粘度。在各种实施方案中,结构化剂与同时具有阳离子和非离子表面活性剂的表面活性剂体系相容。此类试剂的实例包括各种基于丙烯酸酯的增稠剂、天然或合成树胶、多糖等,包括但不限于下文阐述的那些。在一些优选的实施方案中,结构化剂包含聚丙烯酸酯-1交联聚合物。聚丙烯酸酯-1交联聚合物以商品名Aqua-CC由Lubrizol Advanced Materials,Inc.出售。在一个方面,结构化剂为与乙二醇二甲基丙烯酸酯交联的以下物质:(甲基)丙烯酸的一种或多种C1-C5烷基酯的共聚物、甲基丙烯酸C1-C4二烷基氨基C1-C6烷基酯、PEG/PPG-30/5烯丙基醚、PEG20-25C10-C30烷基醚甲基丙烯酸酯、甲基丙烯酸羟基C2-C6烷基酯。
在一些实施方案中,组合物还包含pH调节剂,pH调节剂可包括降低pH的酸化剂、升高pH的碱化剂以及将pH控制在所需范围内的缓冲剂。例如,可包括选自酸化剂、碱化剂和缓冲剂的一种或多种化合物以提供2至10或在各说明性实施方案中的2至8、3至9、4至8、5至7、6至10、7至9等的pH。在优选的实施方案中,pH在约1至5、约2至5、约4至5、或约4.2-4.8之间。pH调节剂的实例包括HCl、磷酸和磺酸以及羧酸如乳酸和柠檬酸;酸式盐(例如,柠檬酸一钠、柠檬酸二钠、苹果酸一钠等);碱金属氢氧化物如氢氧化钠和氢氧化钾;碳酸盐如碳酸钠;碳酸氢盐;倍半碳酸盐;硼酸盐;硅酸盐;磷酸盐(例如,磷酸一钠、磷酸三钠、焦磷酸盐等);咪唑等。一种或多种pH调节剂任选地以有效地将组合物维持在可接受的pH范围内的总量存在。
在一些实施方案中,本公开的个人护理组合物包含两性离子表面活性剂。合适的两性离子表面活性剂包括甜菜碱和磺基甜菜碱。在一些实施方案中,两性离子表面活性剂包含具有季铵或鏻离子作为阳离子基团以及羧酸根基团作为阴离子基团的甜菜碱;或者包含具有季铵离子作为阳离子基团以及羧酸根基团作为阴离子基团的甜菜碱(即季铵羧酸盐甜菜碱)。典型的烷基二甲基甜菜碱包括但不限于十二烷基二甲基甜菜碱或2-(N-十二烷基-N,N-二甲基胺)乙酸酯、椰油二甲基甜菜碱或2-(N-椰油-N,N-二甲基胺)乙酸酯、肉豆蔻基二甲基甜菜碱、棕榈基二甲基甜菜碱、月桂基二甲基甜菜碱、十六烷基二甲基甜菜碱、硬脂基二甲基甜菜碱等。类似地,酰氨基甜菜碱包括但不限于椰油酰氨基乙基甜菜碱、椰油酰氨基丙基甜菜碱等。酰氨基磺基甜菜碱包括但不限于椰油酰氨基乙基磺基甜菜碱、椰油酰氨基丙基磺基甜菜碱等。
在某些实施方案中,所述个人护理组合物呈清洁液的形式。在一些实施方案中,清洁液包含一种或多种脂肪酸皂。脂肪酸皂可以是任何中和的脂肪酸。用于皂的典型脂肪酸包括肉豆蔻酸、月桂酸、棕榈酸、硬脂酸和其他脂肪酸。脂肪酸的来源包括椰子油、棕榈油、棕榈仁油、牛油、鳄梨、油菜籽、玉米、棉籽、橄榄、高油酸向日葵、中油酸向日葵、向日葵、棕榈硬脂、棕榈仁油精、红花以及巴巴苏油。脂肪酸可用任何碱中和形成皂。典型的碱包括但不限于氢氧化钠、氢氧化钾和三乙醇胺。在一些实施方案中,皂为钾皂。在一些实施方案中,皂为月桂酸、肉豆蔻酸和任选地C12-18脂肪酸的混合物的皂。
乳化剂的示意性实例包括乙氧基化羧酸、乙氧基化甘油酯、乙二醇酯、甘油单酯、聚甘油酯、多元醇酯和醚、失水山梨醇/山梨醇酯、磷酸三酯和乙氧基化脂肪醇。实例包括硬脂酸甘油酯、PEG-100硬脂酸酯、硬脂酸失水山梨醇酯、PEG-40硬脂酸酯、聚山梨醇酯-20、聚山梨醇酯-60、聚山梨醇酯-80和油酸甘油酯。

基于线性回归分析,该数据显示聚丙烯酸对相分离高度的影响最大。从这些信息,我们惊奇地得出结论,聚丙烯酸会导致一定量的相分离。通常,组合物中存在的聚丙烯酸酯越多,则相分离的高度就越大。还观察到,上层的粘度随氯化钠的添加而显著增加,这表明表面活性剂通常迁移到上层。
不受理论的束缚,但据信无机盐如钠盐或镁盐将与阴离子表面活性剂相互作用并影响包含它们的体系的粘度。因此,如果上部相随盐的添加而改变粘度,则表明阴离子表面活性剂含在上层中。基于此假设,测试组合物以确定两个相的组成,并确认表面活性剂含在上层中,以及PEG 8000和聚丙烯酸钠含在底层中。
实施例3:增强的起泡特性
按以下配方产生测试组合物和对照组合物,其表现出50%/50%的相比率。
表3:测试制剂和对照制剂
使用美国专利4,556,509中描述的自动微板餐具洗涤试验测量泡沫增强,其产生以下结果。简言之,使用本测试来确定在泡沫消失之前可在洗涤剂溶液中洗涤的理论板的数量。本测试用来证明清洁效率的提高,如由泡沫体积和泡沫稳定性所衡量。在自动微板餐具洗涤测试中,在搅动刷的作用下在洗涤剂溶液中生成泡沫。当以稳定的速率向洗涤剂溶液添加混合污物时,通过溶液表面的反射率以电子方式测量泡沫。泡沫的消失决定了测试的终点,并然后基于泡沫持续时间和污物添加速率计算微板的数量。
使用浓度为16重量%的聚丙烯酸钠和二元表面活性剂体系(即,月桂醇聚氧乙烯醚硫酸钠和月桂/肉豆蔻酰氨基丙基氧化胺)进行测试,将性能与不含聚丙烯酸钠的对照配方加以比较。
表4:泡沫测试结果
如图所示,在每种情况下,含有丙烯酸钠聚合物的测试组合物与对照组合物相比具有优异的结果。平均而言,测试制剂显示出清洁能力43%的改善。结果分析表明,这种差异达到统计显著性(p=0.016)。
Claims (23)
1.一种清洁组合物,所述清洁组合物包含以下成分的水性溶液:
阴离子聚合物;
非离子聚合物;和
相稳定量的表面活性剂,其包含至少一种阴离子表面活性剂和至少一种非离子表面活性剂的组合,
其中所述溶液包含具有不同组成和密度的两个不同的水性相,所述两个不同的相包含基本上所有的所述阴离子聚合物或所述非离子聚合物中之一。
2.根据权利要求1所述的组合物,其中所述阴离子表面活性剂包含为C8-C22烷基或酰基的疏水性基团及选自磺酸根、硫酸根和羧酸根的水增溶基团。
3.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述阴离子表面活性剂为月桂基醚硫酸钠、月桂基硫酸钠、月桂基硫酸铵、烷基苯磺酸钠或烷基苯磺酸镁。
4.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述阴离子表面活性剂为月桂基醚硫酸钠。
5.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述非离子表面活性剂包含C8-C22叔胺氧化物或脂肪酸酰胺。
6.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述非离子表面活性剂包含月桂酰氨基丙基氧化胺、肉豆蔻酰氨基丙基氧化胺、椰油单乙醇酰胺或其组合中的至少之一。
7.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述非离子表面活性剂为月桂酰氨基丙基氧化胺、肉豆蔻酰氨基丙基氧化胺的组合。
8.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中阴离子表面活性剂与非离子表面活性剂的比率为约1∶1至约1∶3.5。
9.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述酸性聚合物选自由丙烯酸衍生物(例如,丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、丙烯酸乙酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、氯乙基乙烯基醚、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸2-乙基己酯以及它们的盐和酯)的组合的均聚物或共聚物制成的聚丙烯酸酯或合成阴离子线型聚羧酸酯。
10.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述酸性聚合物为聚丙烯酸的均聚物。
11.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述酸性聚合物以所述组合物的约5-25重量%、约8-22重量%、约10-20重量%、约13-18重量%、约15-17重量%、或约16重量%的量存在。
12.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述非离子聚合物选自一种或多种聚(环氧烷)聚合物。
13.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述非离子聚合物为分子量为5kD至10kD(例如,8kD)的聚乙二醇。
14.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述非离子聚合物以所述组合物的约0.1-10重量%、2-8重量%、4-6重量%、或约5重量%的量存在。
15.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述组合物为化妆产品、卸妆产品、除臭剂或止汗剂产品、毛发护理产品、剃须产品(例如,膏霜、凝胶和泡沫)、目光浴产品(例如,防晒组合物和晒黑组合物)、昆虫驱避产品、皮肤护理产品或个人清洁产品(例如,液体皂、泡沫、凝胶和洗液)、液体洗手皂、淋浴凝胶、沐浴露、沐浴泡沫、洗发剂、液体洗脸皂、餐具皂、沐浴露、皮肤膏霜、或液体洗衣洗涤剂、或用于清洁硬表面的液体洗涤剂。
16.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述组合物为用于皮肤(例如,脸、手、脚等)的膏霜、洗液或凝胶。
17.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,其中所述组合物为液体洗手皂、餐具皂、液体洗衣洗涤剂或用于清洁硬表面的液体洗涤剂。
18.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的组合物,所述组合物包含:
a)酸性聚合物,例如选自以下中的一种或多种的聚合物:(a)丙烯酸衍生物(例如,丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、丙烯酸乙酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、氯乙基乙烯基醚、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸2-乙基己酯以及它们的盐和酯)的组合的丙烯酸酯均聚物或共聚物,和(b)合成阴离子线型聚羧酸酯,如马来酸酐或酸与另一可聚合烯键式不饱和单体的1∶4至4∶1共聚物,例如,甲基乙烯基醚/马来酸酐的共聚物,其中一些或全部酸酐部分被水解以提供游离羧基基团;
b)非离子聚合物;例如选自一种或多种聚(环氧烷)聚合物,例如选自聚乙二醇、聚丙二醇、泊洛沙姆及其混合物;例如,其中所述口腔可接受的非离子聚合物具有至少3000D、例如6kD至250kD、例如8kD的分子量;
c)相稳定量的表面活性剂,其包含至少一种阴离子表面活性剂和至少一种非离子表面活性剂的组合,其中所述阴离子表面活性剂包含为C8-C22烷基或酰基的疏水性基团及选自磺酸根、硫酸根和羧酸根的水增溶基团(例如,烷基硫酸盐,例如月桂基醚硫酸钠(SLES)、月桂基硫酸钠和月桂基硫酸铵),并且其中所述非离子表面活性剂包括一种或多种脂族化合物(例如,胺氧化物,例如月桂酰氨基丙基二甲基氧化胺、肉豆蔻酰氨基丙基二甲基氧化胺及其混合物),
其中所述溶液包含具有不同组成和密度的两个不同的水性相,所述两个不同的相包含基本上所有的所述阴离子聚合物或所述非离子聚合物中之一。
19.一种清洁和/或保护皮肤的方法,所述方法包括振摇根据权利要求1至17中任一项所述的组合物和用其清洗所述皮肤。
20.根据权利要求18所述的方法,所述方法还包括充分搅动所述组合物以产生一定体积的泡沫的步骤。
21.一种清洁硬表面例如餐具、厨具或家庭用品表面的方法,所述方法包括振摇根据组合物1以及下列等等中的任何一项所述的组合物和用其清洗所述硬表面。
22.根据权利要求20所述的方法,所述方法还包括充分搅动所述组合物以产生一定体积的泡沫的步骤。
23.根据权利要求1至17中任一项所述的清洁组合物用于清洁皮肤或者清洁硬表面例如餐具、厨具或家庭用品表面的用途。
